Room was dirty, with hair on the bed, and in the bathroom (sink, toilet and walls), also dirt marks on the toilet. Even after trekking staff, there were hairs in the bathroom so not sure what was happening.

Breakfast is a complete joke, just has extremely limited options like croissants and boiled eggs. For €11 per person, you can just go to the cafe opposite the hotel and have a nice breakfast there.

The highlight of this hotel was the staff. They were super friendly and accommodating. They worked with us when we needed an adapter and I loved that everyone spoke English, even though we still tried to communicate with the tiny amount of French that we knew, lol. It was in a nice area next to some nice restaurants and it was a cute, quaint hotel. The rooms were a little small, but that was to be expected in Paris. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean, fresh towels dailt, free breakfast, friendly and very accommodating staff, and by two metro locations. Great restaurants, stores, shopping, and site seeing. Rooms are on small side for Americans but really couldn't ask for more!!!

This is a three-star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy. The elevator is tiny, but works. There is no coffee service in the rooms because of space, and the coffee machine in the lobby only makes expresso sized drink. You need to grab two cups there and taken them downstairs to the breakfast room for an American size coffee to take back to your room.

Besides the room and location, what really stood out was the staff. They are really outstanding. They are welcoming, kind and give practical advice. We don’t always get that.

The room was good, bed comfortable. Shower nice and hot. There was a tub for a bath, which we took advantage of. Decent towels and soap.

This is a desirable place. So reserve early.

Our Standard Double Room was very clean upon arrival but significantly smaller than we thought - made it a bit difficult with 2 large suitcases for my husband and I. The bathroom was especially small.

AC worked well in the room & it was nice being able to open the window during the day. There is a small tv in the room but no cable or streaming provided - we didn't feel comfortable logging into our own streaming accounts.

While the room was clean, we never received fresh towels at any point which would have been greatly appreciated after 14 hour days of walking around the city. We even left them on the floor each day hoping to get new ones and we didn't.

The breakfast at the hotel was great with a variety of pastries, juice, and coffee.

Something we didn't like about the hotel was that you're not allowed to hold onto your room key if you step outside the hotel. The staff makes you return the room key each morning you leave and then knock on the lobby door to get back in at night, and then will give the key back to you. We've never seen this before and felt it was a nuisance to do this for almost a week.

There is a bus stop near by and a metro station a bit of a walk from the hotel. The hotel did seem far from most things. There is a bakery right in front of the hotel that was delicious, a small market near by, and a pharmacy.

Overall the hotel met our needs but we wouldn't stay again mostly due to the room size and location.

Short walk to Metro, pharmacy, mini-supermarket or to Contrascarpe Square where there are a ton of great cafes. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Avoid room no 1. The room was extremely noisy - right next to elevator, reception, luggage storage and office, and despite double doors all sounds found their way right into our room. Bring earplugs. The room should never have been rented out, at least not to that price. Other than that the room was small and dark - we could not open the curtains since the room was on street level, and also not the windows as people could walk straight in from the street The room was nicely redecorated, though, and friendly staff. We did not try the breakfast.

I would have give 4 or 5 stars except there was a horrible rude night desk clerk that make our stay a nightmare. He insulted us when we asked for help, told us to \"drink water out of the bath tub\" rather than the water provided in the lobby. We had 2 rooms and told us to \"stop going back and forth (at 8:30pm), He left the front desk with all the room keys (the old fashioned hotel keys) unsecured and unattended.

The lights in the hallway were on a timer and would turn off automatically. No motion detection which meant you’ll need to search for it in total darkness.
1 room key per room and it was kept at the front desk, if you left for 5 minutes: turn in your key, then ask for it again, like a school bathroom hall pass.

Great place. Rye Moffetard was a 5 min walk away for great eating, entertainment and shopping. It is walkable to Norte Dame, st Germaine and the Seine. We even walked to the Lourvd and Musee d’orsy but is was further away than we wanted.

This hotel needs to update it's booking system! It seemed on our arrival that they thought they didn't have a room for us and they almost had to send us to another hotel. Fortunately, they were able to find a room for us. This seemed very strange seeing as thought we booked and paid for this room in full 4 months earlier.
Worse than that was when we came to check-out the next morning and the man at the front desk tried to make us pay for the room again. I explained that we had already paid via Expedia and then he became quite rude saying the computer said that we hadn't paid. I was able to show him my Expedia bill and he finally backed down.
This experience left us with a really bad feeling about this hotel.
It was a shame that their booking system and attitude were so poor, otherwise the hotel was clean, newly renovated, comfortable and well located. The continental breakfast that was included was good with pastries, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice etc.

Great welcoming staff at reception and at breakfast. The room and everything in general was sparkly clean and well looked after.

The only challenge was the room that we had looked nothing like the photo and with two adults and a baby's cot you had less than a meter gap around the bed to walk around. The window was small and glum and faced the inner court yard. I would recommend requesting a room facing the street, or that the hotel considers offering more space for families. It was okay for two nights, but it would have been unsustainable for longer.

Hotel was convenient to the Monges Metro stop. Check in was easy and the receptionist very friendly and helpful. The public areas were clean and comfortable, and so was my room. Only two tiny complaints about my stay...1). there wasn't a method to turn on the radiator heat (and the night time temps were a bit cold); 2) the petit dejeuner wasn't worth the 9 euro (plenty of good boulangerie options nearby)

I was travelling alone and the double bed room was great for me. The service of the staff was really good. They will help you out whenever you have some request (hot water, iron/ironing board, booking of airport shuttle). The airport shuttle could only be booked from the hotel so do make your own way to the hotel. Hotel is near to two metro lines which is convenient. The staffs are fluent with English which makes communication much easier. I felt safe in the area around the hotel. The only downside is probably the difficulty of closing the bathroom door as there was a small bedside table and the bed right next to the bathroom door (not sure if this is the case for other rooms). It was fine for me as I was staying alone in that room.

The location is very convenient. It’s close to several Metro lines and plenty of places to eat and in walking distance of several attractions. The rooms as just too small. You can barely walk around the bed. Even for one person I would consider it too small. I wouldn’t stay there again because of that. Also the hairdryer was ancient. I’ve never seen one like it and it was broken as well.

The location of this hotel was awesome as well as its overall aesthetic. We did not try the breakfast.

The rooms were quite small. So much so, that we were unable to open our suitcases or move them around the hotel room on the first night and eventually requested to be switched to another room.

The day staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the night staff would shut down the lobby just after 11, which meant locking the doors and going to sleep. Whenever we came back after this time, we had to ring the bell to be let in and would get strange looks from the night staff upon arrival.

What I thought was strange about this hotel was that there was no option to decline your room to be serviced. The cleaning staff came daily and replaced all linens, made your bed, and vacuumed, regardless if they had already completed the cleaning for the rest of the floor. This would have been okay with me if they didn't move my belongings around the room so much and throw away some things that I didn't want to be thrown away. It felt invasive.

It's also located in a nice neighbourhood. Close to a street called Rue Mouffetard with a lot of nice cafes and restaurants.

The rooms on the first floor are close to where the hotel flags are hanging outside and they make a lot of noise in windy nights. So if possible get a room which is as far as possible from those flags.

Loved our room and the bathroom. Fairly small but bed and linens and pillows all very high quality.
We faced inner courtyard so it was very quiet and blackout curtains kept light out. We slept so well!!
We liked the area a lot because it’s a normal neighborhood- not touristy at all but had all we needed and certainly very walkable to major attractions. We lived the Jardin des Plantes and Luxembourg gardens.
We didn’t have to go far for great food. Off the Rue Monge we found adorable Brittany crepes and all manor of take out places.
One suggestion for a tiny improvement would be to have milk option for coffee or tea at reception.
We were happy with the lift and loved the air conditioning!! Necessary now with climate change.

We stayed here during the heat wave and the hotel was our cool haven. Air con, very clean rooms. Really comfortable beds, probably the best hotel bed we have stayed in! Friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English too.
Location fabulous - 1 min walk from metro and a few minutes from the heart of the Latin quarter - full of restaurants and bars.
Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

We loved Hotel Saint Christophe! It is located in the 5th arrondissement, which is centrally located close to great restaurants, shopping, and beautiful parks to explore. This was our first trip to Paris and it was exquisite! The rooms of this hotel are small (by American standards), but absolutely enhance the overall feel of this cute boutique hotel. Across the street is Maison Gregoire, a cute little patisserie where we ate each morning, we highly recommend!! Can't say enough good things about the hotel, people or location, it was absolutely perfect!
