This place is a hidden gem!!! Walking distance to Kuta beach, in a secluded area with a security guard at the main road. Serene, tranquil and impeccably clean. Restaurant was excellent - tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was sumptuous - buffet of continental and Indonesian food with eggs and pancakes made to order. Large pool and pool area landscaped with shade trees and shrubs. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Really can't say enough about the place!

Staff here are fantastic, the location is pretty good as well.
Rooms were typical Bali really, a little on the rundown side but don't let that stop you from coming here.
Can get a little noisy at night in the mezzanine of the family room.
Breakfast was also ok, could have had some more options but given the size of the place it makes perfect sense, the variety was good but some things were a little hit-or-miss.

This is a decent good hotel, in the back of some abandoned buildings. Not really walkable to many areas, restaurants or the beach. But the hotel is clean, safe and there is a circle k nearby for drinks. The staff are very helpful, friendly, kind and courteous. The breakfast buffet was good and offered good variety while changing the breakfast content everyday. The pool and scenery of the hotel was very beautiful and relaxing. The pool was warm, empty and great for swimming. Me and my family had a wonderful experience here, thank you The Kana at Kuta Beach. The is also a good Chinese restaurant across from the hotel, that we finally found out about on our last night there. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel is that there is an abandoned building in the front of the hotel that isn’t appealing and the lunch and dinner at the hotel was not very good, other than that, it’s a fantastic hotel, and I have traveled to many places around the would and stayed at countless hotels. Just wanted you to know some pros and cons here. Also not very walkable to get around the area for sight seeing, you have to take transportation.

Young staff, clearly still new in the hospitality industry, however friendly and mostly accommodating when asked. Sadly, there’s a slight smell of mould anywhere you go, including the room, sheets, towels. The hotel is too calm, it’s actually quite boring, no entertainment, and the same elevator music played the entire time we were there. The pool is nice but not that clean when you get up close, the pool loungers are dirty and crawling with tiny insects, there are ants everywhere, tables and loungers. The pool towels, if unused are left outside by staff for days until they smell rotten. Actually, even the room towels and sheets appear clean but don’t feel or smell fresh. We’d lose power in our rooms for a few seconds, several times a day. Only the rooms are air conditioned, not the halls or anything else, so i hope you enjoy the fruit at the breakfast buffet with plenty of fruit flies…MOST IMPORTANTLY, first night here on our honeymoon, my husband’s gold necklace was snatched violently off his neck by 2 people on a motorcycle just 500 meters from the hotel. Not the hotels fault (although they were completely unhelpful thereafter) a week here we realized that Kuta is the ghetto of Bali. Please be safe, no valuables, carry only what you need, and keep your phones close to you. Walk against traffic.

Great value! Rooms are clean and up to date. Food is decent and along with the drinks, very reasonably priced. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I’d booked somewhere else in Kuta (Eden) but after digging deeper into the reviews, I’d realised there was something dodgy with its Star rating as the ones with actual stories to tell were negative and had pictures of the real room quality. The Kuna is genuinely lovely if you are looking for quality on a budget.

Love the Hotel, all the staff are all very friendly, the room was very clean with lots of space, it is a bit out of the way from town, but dont let that put you off as a taxi is only $3.00 and we never had to wait long for a Taxi, Reception will organise a Taxi for you, this place is amazing, you wont be disapointed, it is nice and quiet so you cant hear the traffic, we will be back next year. Thank you to all the lovely kind staff.

I have stayed here before because the hotel is so quiet. The rooms do need a little updating but they are clean and a good size. The staff here are amazing! They helped me celebrate my 60th birthday and really went out of there way to make my son’s homeschooling run smoothly by bringing his breakfast up to the room everyday. A big thank you to All the lovely staff especially the restaurant manager Sukayasa, Tati and Rani for helping out and making our stay perfect. See you all again soon.

We stayed here for one night, it was great for a nights stay, the bedrooms and bathrooms could do with a slight revamp but still incredibly comfortable and big for a couple nights stay. The pool was lovely. The staff were excellent, so polite, so helpful and really friendly. We didn’t want to stay long in the business of Kuta, and I’d say for this property you need to get Taxis to most things, but it is near shops which was great.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. When you forst arrive it seems a bit of a shock because directly off the road is a half built building, but then you go down a driveway to the Kana and see its a beautiful hotel. Its nice being back from the road as well as its a vedy busy road, so im sure it helps with noise reductiin, as it feels nice and quiet when in the hotel. The pool is nice, there's buffet breakfast and restaurant menu for the rest of the day. Room is clean, comfortable and air conditioned.

I was treated with respect; as a valued and welcomed guest! It was a wonderful experience! Wish it never ended. I've been traveling Asia since January and this is one of my top 3 hotels!

I will point out that it gets a little boating in the halls because there's no carpet. And other guests are up at 5AN; being inconsiderate. Not the hotels fault. Just sitting for guests to be aware of.

But this is a phenomenal hotel with outstanding service! Doubly so b if you consider the price; the it's an absolute steal!

The staff here are warm, genuine and take great pride in their service. I absolutely cannot wait to come back.

This hotel has very price wise services. Location is convenient and the room size is reasonable. You get what you pay for it. The people were trying to be nice~ they have good breakfast buffet. But the hotel is more than 20years old fashion business hotel. So it must be very luxurious hotel back in then. But it seems pretty out of business. Not really well maintained so bathroom shower we had to call the service to fix as well as sewer. Dining area is open-ceiling fan is only existing next to swimming pool. So you can see lots of mosquitos are coming towards to you:) they have a mosquito spray in the room that you can use. Breakfast was delicious. But they charge extra if you order coffee; cappuccino, espresso and so on. The air conditioner was working well but the smell was not really great so we had to change to the other room that has windows.
Overall I feel like 3.5stars

DIKA was an excellent staff. He was always willing to assist with all of our needs. He kept great smile on his face and attitude toward everything. His professional definitely made our stay a memorable experience at this hotel. One down side was that airport pickup service was not made available upon our arrival even though our requesting email was sent a day prior like they requested. It was not a good start but hospitality exhibited by DIKA changed it all. Thank you!!

Had a lovely stay at Kana, two weeks flew by. The staff were lovely and the food was exceptional at the hotel. Variety at breakfast was good, three live cooking stations were great and served excellent eggs and sweets, although I didn’t try the noodles. The room was basic but spacious, aircon was powerful, having bathroom toiletries was also welcome.
The pool are was lovely and caught the sun until 5pm so was perfect.

Pros: Breakfast was really great. The pool seemed great too even if I didn’t use it. They hold bags which was good too ( it’s expected )

Cons:
There is some weird smell in the room toilet and also the common toilet downstairs.
They didn’t provide hair conditioner , when I asked they said they don’t, which was weird to me. I don’t see that as a common thing at other hotels in Bali.
I didn’t really like anything I ordered for dinner. No one was really attentive even if I was the only person at the restaurant at that time. I had to ask for water a couple of times, I had to hail at them multiple times because they’d never check on me .
