Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work only in the lobby.
Water was leaking in the room from the roof while I was sleeping. Me and my family had to move to another room due to water leak from the rain. Building is old l, it needs to be remodeled. Staff was great, breakfast was good. I will definitely go back to San Adres Colombia but won’t stay at this hotel. I do not recommend.

It shows pictures on the beach and it is not on the beach. It is separated by a walk way. Also if you need an elevator you have to ask for the convention center hotel part! The buffet is eggs, sliced cold ham, arepas, sausage, 2-cheeses, watermelon, pineapple, catelope, it varried during our 4-days, desert a piece of banana cake, cake with small coating chocolate. Drinks, coffee, chocolate, juice. Air conditioning was fabulous and beds in two different rooms were excellent. Water was nice and hot it takes a while to arrive but be careful it can be scalding hot. Toilet were new types. Had in room safes. The convention center hotel room even had a PBX in room phone. Overall l would recommend and return. The local water is not drinkable! They had water in their included small refrigerator. The playa is processed fine sand into a beach which is right in front of the hotel. The rest of the island is hard corals.

Location! Location! Location! Just across the boulevard is the best beach in San Andres. Best restaurants in the Island are near by and all the touristic services and attractions including the best shopping areas. Excellent boutique hotel with a great staff.

Location is perfect. Walk out the front door and you’re on the beach. Staff member Daphne was amazingly helpful and very sweet compared to the majority of the locals on the island.

El trato al turista es pésimo, pagué por el beach desde Febrero y cuando llegué le dije a la recepcionista que tenía una reserva paga y me grita muy grosera que no,que me habían trasladado al centro, a lo cuál me negué a aceptar y ella súper brava y grosera conmigo le tocó aceptarme. Las instalaciones requieren mantenimiento, lo bueno es la ubicación del hotel, los restaurantes que están al lado la comida buena aunque costosa

Only complaint is that they often don’t have the type of room you booked available when you arrive for check-in. Have stayed here 3 times, this has happened twice. But it’s a nice place in a good location, with good breakfast.

The hotel lost my reservation. It was prepaid and hotels.com would not refund it. The hotel requested that I pay again upfront while they looked for my existing reservation. Pictures on hotels.com were not of this hotel but of the hotel Casa Blanca a few blocks away.
This hotel is a scam. Stay away.

Avoid at all costs

Aweful, Do not stay here. I am a gold member here and was absolutely disgusted in this hotel. I actually left and having pay for 4 night after the first night.

When you check in was greeted by the local drunks passed out vomitting and a stench of urine on the footpath immediately out the front of the hotel. When you check in the staff require you to pay up front. There is good reason they do this because they no you won't pay if you haven't. Terrible hotel. It is next door to an all night local bar. The music goes until 4 or 5 am. Don,t expect any sleep there. The wifi is only in the foyer.
Be careful leaving in the morning, there maybe broken glass and bottles on the footpath outside left from the drunks outside your bedroom window the night before. Staff don't speak English. Was ok for me because I speak basic Spanish, but you would expect that hotels would have at least someone. After I left I went to a far superior hotel up the road with nice room, beautiful breakfast with a view, pool friendly staff, spoke English at the check in desk, wifi everywhere. This hotel was slightly less than what I paid here. There were numerous other issues from construction in the foyer to hair in the bed sheets. Seriously do not stay here.

We stayed here for New Years Eve as and it cost around $200 which is a shocking amount of money for such s disgusting hotel.To get to the entrance of the hotel you have to navigate through a pile slurry caused by rain water that has no where to drain off and has trash floating in it. The staff were ok. The room was terrible. Mould had been painted over on the walls but you could still see it. The 2 single beds were ancient and encredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was awful - really tatty and tiny with a leaking toilet. A very grim experience. I would give it 1 star but am unable to change it

SI tiene agua caliente, jamás nos faltó agua ni había mal olor como decían algunos. La ubicación es perfecta.
Nuestra reserva estuvo registrada bien y conforme el precio que decía Expedia.
El menú ejecutivo es abundante y a un px razonable.
El aire acondicionado funciona bien.
El wifi anda bien pero sólo en el lobby y restaurant.
No se abren las ventanas que tienen vista al mar y las del otro lado si abren pero solo 10 cm.
Falta limpieza en algunos lugares de la habitación, sobre todo en los rincones y bajo la cama.
Sí volvería.

La ubicación es insuperable, peroooo el recinto no cumple con las expectativas de la isla… nos tocó una habitación sin ventanas, era como cárcel. No le entraba ni una luz y no había un lugar para que se secara verdaderamente la ropa.

Tinhamos reservado no Portobelo Beach. Ao chegar no hotel, após uma viagem super cansativa e desgastante, a recepcionista nem um pouco simpática, informou que o quarto não estava disponível devido a um problema no ar condicionado. Fomos encaminhados para Hotel Portobelo Boulevard e fomos recepcionados pela Yuri, que foi super prestativa e simpática. Durante todos os dias da nossa estadia nos recebeu com muita alegria.
O hotel tem uma excelente localização, de frente para a praia e é bem limpo. Os quartos são simples e aconchegantes. O Wi-Fi funciona bem somente na recepção. O café da manhã é satisfatório e servido no Portobelo Beach.
Destacamos também a recepcionista Jiribeta, que nos ajudou com muita boa vontade, educação e simpatia a resolver um imprevisto.

El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación frente a la playa; pueden mejorar las instalaciones un poco, es aseado y la atención muy buena. \"Miladis\" del front desk siempre atenta. Creo que el precio si es un poco alto para las instalaciones pues es un hotel básico. El restaurante esta bien y conveniente para cuando no se quiere ir lejos.

Hermosa vista al mar pero debe pagarse sobrecosto

Hotel cómodo, personal amable. Me molestó mucho que la primera noche nos cambiaron para otro hotel de la misma cadena sin avisarnos previamente y nos ubicaron en una habitación pequeña, incómoda e interna. Al día siguiente nos reubicaron en el Hotel que habíamos reservado y pudimos finalmente disfrutar de una estancia agradable y una bella vista al mar...
La publicidad muestra sólo las habitaciones que tienen vista al mar, pero cuando llegas al lugar te informan que las habitaciones con vista tienen un sobrecosto y están además sujetas a disponibilidad. Si quieres habitación con vista al mar sugiero que confirmes con anticipación antes del viaje para no llevarte sorpresas incómodas como nos pasó a nosotros... resuelto el problema de la habitación, el hotel está bien para su precio, cómodo, limpio, amplio y el personal amable y servicial.

experiência péssima. De todos os hotéis que fiquei pela Colômbia esse foi sem dúvida o mais caro de todos e um dos piores que já me hospedei na vida. Péssimo atendimento na recepção ao chegar. A recepcionista foi curta, grossa e impaciente. Disse que o valor da reserva que a Hotéis.com estava errado e nos cobrou um valor maior alegando que era um seguro e que ele era obrigatório. Pedi por escrito essa informação, apólice do seguro, comprovante do pagamento com detalhamento da fatura e tudo o mais que pude pensar para registrar aquele absurdo... (TUDO ME FOI NEGADO). O quarto é espartano, não tendo sequer blackout. A ilha é pobre e sofre com problemas de falta de água doce. O resultado nesse hotel específico é que não há água suficiente para se tomar banho além de o pouco que pinga do chuveiro e torneira, ser salobra e mal-cheirosa (Comprei dois galões de água mineral para poder viabilizar nossa higienização a contento). Ochão do quarto/banheiro tem sempre a sensação de estar preguento (deve ser lavado com água do mar).
Se há alguma coisa razoavelmente boa aqui se trata da localização. Ele fica no final da calçada onde tudo acontecce. o que facilita para saída de passeios pela ilha e para acessar a área movimentada a noite.

A pesar de haber hecho la reservación con tiempo cuando llegamos no había disponibilidad así que nos enviaron a otro de los hoteles de ellos mismos, el desayuno todos los días fue igual, el servicio de wi-fi solo funciona algunas veces y en recepción donde hay un sofá y dos sillas nada mas, los huéspedes se sientan en las escaleras para tratar de conectarse y la atención en el horario de la tarde es pésima. Adicionalmente a diferencia de otros hoteles donde dejan el jabón, shampoo y toallas de acuerdo al numero de personas en este hotel no dejan lo que quieren y tienes que ir a recepción a pedir lo que haga falta. Lo único bien es que esta cerca al mar y al centro.

Terrible el aseo en el hotel!

El hotel tiene buena ubicacion al frente de la playa, el servicio no es muy amable, el wi-fi pesimo. Hay cucarachas en las habitaciones y asi se les informe no hacen nada por sacarlas, es mentira la piscina pues no es propia y se comparte con un hotel de on vacation, asi que no te dejan entrar o te sacan despues de un rato. Es un hotel de combate para dejar maletas y dormir. No recomiendo el hotel para quedarse todo el dia.
