The room and bathroom were dirty, they didn't even pick up the trash left by previous guests. I left a sign on the door asking them not to enter the room, but they simply ignored it and entered, made the bed, and changed the bath towels without permission.

The barman at the pool bar, a man in his 50s, was completely rude and ill-mannered, treating all the customers poorly as if he were doing us a favor, but no, he was working to serve everyone with courtesy and respect, otherwise, find another job!

The food was okay, nothing extraordinary, for the price of the all-inclusive hotel, it could have been better. There are probably better hotels in San Andrés with better service!

The property was maitained daily by the cleaning staff. It was always someone somewhere ensuring that the property was in pristine condition. The property is a bit dated but it is convenient to everything you need. The beach and main boardwalk is a two minute saunter. Venodors serve great food and drinks as well as trinkets to being home.

Ese hotel es terrible, no me gusta nada. Todo es un completo desastre. Es horriblemente feo y viejo. Los restaurantes son horribles y no pagaría por la comida que sirven. No entiendo por qué tienes que hacer una reserva para un buffet. Las bebidas como los refrescos que tenías que servirte tú mismo de la botella de litro, las bebidas del bar disponibles con licor barato de tercera clase. Tenían manteles y las sillas eran de plástico. Sin mencionar que el hotel no tiene piscina y la playa está a aproximadamente 1 cuadra de distancia. Nada como lo que muestran en las fotos que anunciaron. Al final, esta experiencia fue horrible. Mi dinero fue a la basura.

Love the part that is well located, right in the center of town and just two blocks from the beach.
The air conditioner in our room leaked throughout all our stay. We had to keep towels on the floor to soak the water and for safety.
One day the toilet clogged, and it took all afternoon for someone to come and fix it. Meanwhile we had to use the pool bathroom.
The food is not good and has limited options.

The staff were amazing from the time we arrived until the time we left. The hotel is outdated but has been remodeled but still has a little to do but it was very clean. I enjoyed that everything was included. We were able to eat breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner all at the hotel. They had a bar with included drinks. Coffee always available. The pool was clean. Most of the staff spoke Spanish and English. Very friendly. The hotel was in a perfect location. One block from the beach. My daughter (8 months old) ended up having to go to the urgent care while we were there. It was fantastic. Villa Real Urgencia

I purchased bundle deal for flight and hotel. I got to the hotel at 10am Friday to check in and to my surprise they said I had to pay for my Five year old additionally out of pocket since they had on their system an infant. I had to get Expedia to send them a confirmation showing I had paid for all three of us and had documented my son’s age as it is required when making our reservation. I was on hold for hours with Expedia. I waited for hours for the Hotel to get a call from their international reservation desk which didn’t call. I had to call and speak to a supervisor Austin he apologized for the entire experience and asked if I could pay with my Credit card and Expedia would refund me for the payment providing the receipt for the additional cost. Wasted my entire day getting this cleared away and started my vacation on the wrong foot

I was told it had four restaurants. Does not, we tried to schedule dinner at one of them could not. Cafeteria is terrible, no attention to silver ware etc. we had a front room which is busy with traffic. Could not sleep, huge gap between the windows about three inches could hear everything. Two of the days did not bother to clean room. I will never come back.

The property is a bit run down. I dont usually comment, but this was a bit disappointing for the price point. There is one buffet for all meals, and off-hour snacks are basically kids food (hambergers and fries). The units are air conditioned, but my air conditioner leaked heavily. Like a flood. Check-in took forever, so did getting any service. Nothing terrible, but put together a very underwhelming experience. Unless you are with kids, you are better off staying in a regular hotel and going to retaurants, etc.

Very clean! Great rooms! Very friendly staff! Great location! Nice pool. Delicious food. Good bar.
It’s within walking distance to everything you need (such as: the beach, shops, restaurants, and coffee shops). You never go hungry because they had a lot of good food and a variety.

Check-in was a little disorganized and trying to book tours through the hotel is a little complicated (for example, you need to find your own way to the location, you don’t get directly picked up or dropped off at the hotel), but other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

terrible noisy place and the buffet lounge was a zoo, the children running in the halls, so much noise, the entertainment below me till 10 pm, no wine with dinner and no chance to get to the Mexican/Italian place was closed. the pickup at the airport was terrible, I would never recommend this place to any one.so outdated you would think you where in a 1970,s hotel. I can see the attraction for families who want to get away for a few days and shop at the duty free shops, it is only a 2 hour flight from Bogota

But 2nd floors open bar kind of have a lof of bird and i can’t eat anything in Breakfast too. Also i pay all including but not eat in hotel!!
How can around bird inside restaurant too.

And other days There was no electricity in the room I think so 2hr or 3hrs no air conditioning!!
Because i’m no plan in San Andres befor because i so sick so i need to rest of hotel.

The all-inclusive meals were very disappointing. No air conditioning in the dining area, so food sits in the oppressive heat for hours. Pigeons walking through the dining area. After the first evening meal, we only ate breakfast at the hotel. The room service was adequate, but you must request the maid for enough towels, bath mat, etc. The desk personnel seemed to be clueless about guest service. We asked if we could leave a bag behind the desk for half an hour in the late evening (with no other guests in sight). After thinking about it for 15-20 seconds, the young lady consented to assist us. Better hotel options available.

The hotel is good for the price we paid, however it needs some improvements in the area of two restaurants downstairs (they have no AC).
The only restaurant that has AC is on the sixth floor and this one is not always open.
Staff was very friendly.
The nightclub is only open on weekends

My wife and I had a great time. We haven't been in San Andres since 30 years ago. We found San Andres beautiful and a lot of development and very different. The hotel was really nice. Clean, great food, lovely location and atmosphere.

The hotel is not bad to stay but the staff is very mad, I came to the island and my reservation wasnt in the hote even though I prepaid the stay and when I called the hotel they hang on me twice, then I had to call expedia and was on the phone for 30 minutes before I fixed the problem, you have to realize it is 30 minute international call. The food was ok, you can get used to it if you want to save time and money going to restaurants. Then the bathroom of the room smelled terrible, like a public toilette. The beds were ok, overall I will never stay on this hotel again. I hate wasting time and the staff was very mad and not serviceful even when I had prepaid the hotel and their reservation staff couldnt just download the transactin on time. Anyway, forget this hotel.

Ok but far from great

There are 2 resorts in the island which you can visit and have lunch, and while you stay at the hotel you are free to use their private beach in which you can borrow a boat, chairs and whatever you need to have a good time.
The food was quite good as well, but we did have some problems when trying to get a place at their restaurants (they are very small and most vacancies gets depleted in the first minutes each morning).
Our room was the worst part of our staying as it was noisy during the day, it didn't have a good light during the night or a good blackout for the day. On top of it, it was impossible to get a good hot shower at the hotel, as the temperature of it was at the most warm.

Perfect Hotel For a Holliday Get Away

Great hotel with excellent staff, very friendly most of them bilingual. Perfect location, close to the beach shopping and nightclubs. You'll have a great time in San Andres it is probably one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. Good selection of food and cocktails. The pool is huge and they have staff specialized in pool games/recreation in general.

Beside the buffet they only open one restaurant a day and offer maybe about 20 seating at most. Yet, they don't take reservation in advance for which you are obliged to stand up in line at 7am to wrestling another 100 people to get some seating . At the end the food experience at both location is very poor and below any hotel standards. . Most of the staff is helpful beside the ones at the lobby which tend to be rude and completely neglect you

Very upset with the hotel staff and it's policies.

We arrived at the hotel at 11:50 from the airport. We could not check in until 3:00pm. That is very absurd and frustrating. We were told to wait in the lobby until 3:00pm. The hotel staff did not care about us or any other person wanting to check in. We were tired and desperate. To make things worst when the time to check in was ready we still had to wait another hour to get a room. My wife and I could not believe it. It was a nightmare, I asked to speak to a manager or administration. There was no luck. I told them I was going to give them a poor rate on their hotel review and that's when they tried to help us. To me it was to late, the damage was done.

The hotel wasn't what I was specting for that price... In fact the installations are quite old. I don't know when the hotel has been built, but it seems like an early 90's hotel. Not modern at all... The staff at the reception was very nice and helpfull.

I have three issues with this hotel. The first issue is the internet access. The hotel only allows 30 minutes of internet access. In addition, the guest is only allowed to use the internet on the second floor even if the guest has his own portable computer. My second issue is the pool hours. I wish the hotel would extend the pool hours so we could enjoy the pool more. Lastly, I like to have the ability to close the curtains and make my room darker or lighter. Unfortunately, they don't offer those types of curtains. The hotel only has one type of curtain were the strong sunlight strikes right through the curtain and wakes me right up even if I want to sleep.

I could not believe how inflexible they were regarding my unique situation. Do To travel problems, I was unable to be at the hotel for the first night Of my booking which I was happy to. Pay for. I had my daughter with me unexpectedly and she needed to stay for the third dayl of my reservation, which I would not be there for and .they could not allow her to stay under my reservation. I will never go back. It was totally stupid and insensitive.

the worst hotel and costumer service in the world

the staff of the front desk were horrible, Bad attitudes and not friendly at all. The room was not clean and television never worked i made couple calls to front desk nobody never show up. i made three changes of the room because i wasnt comfortable but they were all the same and i let it go and finally end up with the worst room which the toylet didnt even work at all neither the tv, i tought they were doing on porpuse. The food was ok but the worst part and i notice is that everyone that works for that hotel is never happy and friendly there is no customer service and i can say that because i work for hotels for the past ten years in colombia and now usa i have friends that manage hotels in colombia and they are great. I tried the sol caribe because it was the only hotel available for those days and pay lot of money like a 5 diamond hotel but the only thing i was expecting is great servise and good staff thats the heart of the hotel. In general ruined my vacation thanks to the hotel because i spend more time trying to change my room that enjoying my vacation. i have lots of friends and people that i know trought the world and hotelwise but this is the worst hotel i ever stayed and i think is the management fault because they are the ones that should be aware of that. I would never refer of recomend this place and Im sad because the main reason was to have a good time and not to be regret.

OK, but not to American Standards

Location Ok. near beach. Noisy on Weekends due to the lounge loud music open until very late. Food OK (although not to American standards) and abundant. Hotel owns a nice private beach (called Beach Club Caribe -or something like that) away from downtown. Free transportation is provided to that beach, and snacks and refreshments are provided also free of charge. Be aware that hotel doesn't have wi-fi (broadbrand) .Practically no hot water. Pool are large, clean and pleasant.

We expected a regular hotel, large and impersonal; but we had bad surprises. Uncleaned sheets, bad information, awful infrastructure.
Relation quality/price was terrible. Very bad information, bad conditions, we would rather recommend the Caribe Campo in San Andrès.

The ceiling in my room was sagging and cracked. The staff at the front desk was of no help. There was no transportation (shuttle) to and from the airport for people who went through expedia for their travel packages. The exterior of the hotel was under perpetual repair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The mini bar was an expensive unexplained trap. If you used anything from the mini bar you were charged for it this includes bottle water. This was no explained to me during check in.
This was to be an all inclusive hotel, it is more of a false advertised scam.

My girlfriend arrived a couple days late on our vacation. Hotel charging her a surcharge for a room I already paid for a double rate. I have not been able to call the 800 number for hotels.com in USA from Colombia, not a surprise. Internet is bad and they do not clean the pool.

A limpeza do quarto é ok, o quarto era afastado da área social por isso não tinha barulho, água do chuveiro no primeiro dia estava quente mas no final de semana quando o hotel encheu, ficou fria. Estavano all inclusive, único restaurante bom é o Barbacoa, os outros a comida não é boa. Café da manhã tem bastante variedade de frutas, pães e omelete. Piscina estava sempre limpa mas me machuquei numa parte que estava quebrada do piso. Custo benefício ok.

NÃO TEM ÁGUA QUENTE E QUARTOS SÃO SUJOS
Por mais que seja um país quente, é muito desafiador ter que tomar banho frio todos os dias. Se esta informação estivesse especificada, eu nunca teria reservado este hotel.
Pra ajudar, a higiene não é o forte do hotel. A cama estava cheia de cabelos, o lençol e travesseiros pareciam ter sido usados e não lavados.
Existem coisas que o hotel não tem controle, mas com vigilância poderia ser evitado: vimos um hóspede se servindo no buffet com as mãos ao invés de usar os pegadores, enfindo a mão dentro do pode mesmo e contaminando a comida. Até tinha gente do hotel por perto, mas ninguém falou nada até que outros hóspedes reclamaram.
Academia não é do hotel e não abre aos domingos.
Piscina é ok e a comida não é ruim, mas eu não ficaria novamente nem de graça.

Ótimo hotel, reservei com medo pois tinha muitas avaliações ruins. Mas quando cheguei vi que não era nada disso!
Foi tudo maravilhoso, ótima refeição todos os dias, Ótima limpeza e uma ótima localização.

En general el hotel necesita una renovación, tiene ya algunos años, está muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones tienen el espacio normal, se requiere un poco más de limpieza y listo

Le all inclusive est à éviter....la nourriture est quelconque, la qualité des produits est très médiocre.
La vue de la chambre d'hôtel donnée sur le couloir de l'étage, c'est la première fois que je vois ça !!!
Seul point positif est l'emplacement.

Pésimoooooo!!!

Un desastre!! Sin toallero en el baño y sin agua caliente, la habitación no tenía placard ni perchero ni dónde poner la ropa las lámparas de la mesita de luz no tenían pantalla y No funcionaba los tomacorrientes. El comedor ordinario mesas de plástico sin manteles y sucias. Nivel bajísimo para hacer un all inclusive!!! Nunca más sol caribe San Andrés!!! Espero que tomen en cuenta este comentario y que Hoteles.com lo cheque, porque yo confie en hoteles.com desde el 2012 y esta vez tuve una estadía pésima!!!

Instalaciones en regulares condiciones. El aseo de la habitación lo realizaban muy tarde después de las 5 de la tarde. Poco personal en salón del almuerzo lo que hacía que las mesas estuvieran sucias , falta de vasos y servicios.
Lo mejor era su ubicación en pleno centro de la ciudad.

Boa localização alimentação nem tanto

O hotel podia ter sido melhor. Meu filho cortou o pé num azulejo quebrado na piscina. A alimentação era pouco variada e ruim, salvo os restaurantes temáticos que podíamos reservar para jantar.
Melhorando a alimentação e reformando o parque aquático o hotel seria muito bom.

Una mejora en calidad de servicio.

Muy bueno el hotel . La comida muy buena y rica . Los ambientes comodos .Lo Que si no me gustó mucho es el trato de los trabajadores . No son muy amables los meseros ,De recepción
Etc . En su mayoría son muy pocos cordiales . Seria bueno que fomenten el carisma con sus trabajadores para en un futuro tengan un magnífico y cálido trato con los huéspedes .

Muy buena ubicación, pleno centro y a 1 cuadra de la playa principal...
La comida de buffet es mala y repetitiva. Tiene 2 restaurantes buenos pero hay que reservar con anticipación. Buena atención en general.
