I see why some of the reviews say it’s a little ghetto but I felt it was fine. The rooms face the freeway so there was quite a bit of noise through out the day. Using a white noise machine at night helped with that. The people at the desk at check in and out were nice and friendly. Breakfast was limited.

Thumbs up, the only good thing about this place was a decent chines restaurant next door and fast food and Safeway on the other side of the freeway.
Thumbs Down, Rooms were small, no handy cap rooms, definitely not handy cap excisable rooms. My wife is in a narrow wheelchair, and I had problems getting down the walkways to the room (outside balcony type walkways to the rooms). Every time we went into or out of the room, we had to park the wheelchair outside the room and had to walk her in or out, then you had to make sure the chair was facing the right way for where you wanted to go because the walkway was not wide enough to turn it around, there was also a 2 inch lift to get over at the threshold of the door. Elevator doors closed way to fast, closed on us a couple of times while we were getting into it, just enough room to turn a wheelchair if you hit it just wright. The smell of POT, skunkweed whatever you want to call it, in some areas and the elevator was so bad at times you could get a contact high if stopped to long in those areas. There were at least 3 hookers that were using that hotel and were bringing clientele there all day and all night and walking through the parking lot with them. I would suggest if you had children with you that were outside you would have some explaining to do. let's put it this way Thay weren't warring much.

Don't expect much

The motel itself has very bad parking, however, it is monitored by many cameras. The whole entirety of the complex is just run by a flooding family of wild cats, kittens, etc.. that are fed by the staff to keep them there to keep out the rodents. There's also multitudes of drug users that stay there. Our hotel room generally looked ok at first. We started noticing broken things that were put into place to look as if they weren't.... table lamp that fell into a crumble one the switch turned on... shower towel rack that completely fell off once touched... the sink faucet leaked, the refrigerator was more of a freezer and leaked water from the bottom...however, the King size bed was naturally comfortable with clean sheets. The complementary breakfast included, rotted bananas, expired yogurt, stale frosted flakes, a milk carton that was almost empty and obviously t be shared between all who stayed or not stayed at the hotel. A self pancake maker that wasn't filled or working, muffins that looked like they were taken out of their original packaging and a \"cafe coffee\" maker that no matter what setting, poured more water than anything else and just was horrible. I can only account that the staff was as polite enough as they felt they should be and our King bed was satisfactory. We paid about the amount after taxes of130.00 for one King bed night on a Friday. Needless to say, we went there for SixFlags, next time we will pay the extra for the Marriott @ Six Flags

Room smelled like smoke even though there was no smoking in the rooms. Shower was the worse I ever had, shower head not centered and no water pressure. Sounded like you were going to fall through the tub whenever you moved. Continental breakfast was cereal bars and fruit. If you need a cheaper room in that area, it is not bad for 1-night.

The room I was given had a strong marijuana odor. It was supposed to be a non smoking room. There was trim boards, curtain material about 12ft. in length laying on the floor for you to trip over. An old property that needs renovation. Lots of traffic noise. For a best western I was very disappointed with this place. I don't recommend it.

Noisy, noisy, NOISY!!!

Four of us were on a 9 day road-trip through California and this was the most disappointing of our nightly stays.
Thank heavens for my white noise on my phone or we wouldn’t have gotten any sleep! To say it was “noisy” (from freeway directly outside our rooms) is an understatement. It was NOISY!!!!

The front desk area had a terrible smell. The receptionist told us our rooms were ready and when we got to them, the windows were open and the door was left open. Our pillows had no pillow cases and were in a pile on the bed. The room smelt like weed. There was beer cans and trash all over the outside of our floor leading up to our room. There were people fighting outside our room when we were checking in.
Don’t recommend. Unsafe for young children. Terrible part of town. The only good thing I’ll say is, it was conveniently located near Six Flags, but you get what you pay for.

Some of the problems they can't help, some they can. It's extremely noisy from the highway. It's Vallejo so definitely not pleasant. The coffee in the breakfast room was basically just hot water. I threw it away. outside common areas unkept and some trash around. Certainly seems like there are people \"living\" in this hotel.

On the plus side, Super close to Six flags. Staff was super friendly and helpful! the room itself was nice and clean. plenty of towels and toiletries and cheap.

I wouldn't stay here again, but I wouldn't steer away folks on a budget and wanting a night after six flags. you are getting a clean room but everything else is as they say \"you get what you pay for\"

Absolutely a terrible place to stay. This place is a hangout for drug addicts and drug activity. The room was terrible, with bathroom vents hanging down and damaged doors that were slapped together, paper thin walls were people are advuyand fighting throughout the night. This is the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t stay there again if it were free.

Trash all over the parking lot, Front desk staff did not greet me, I asked for my deposit to be returned or give me a good explanation if i didnt get my deposit back at the end of my stay, staff gave me a bad attitude. Broken chair in the room that literally had a leg off and a wheel off. Definitely not safe. There were stains and hair in the shower. There looked like tiny peepholes in the walls of the bathroom. People were outside our door until 6am trying to jump someone. And lastly, housekeeping knocked on our door a total of 3 times. One time being around 8:45am, and i was confused because checkout is 11am. They knocked again around 9. And at 10:45am, again. We were out exactly at 11. The knocks made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Also , there was a cigarette put out in the corner.

First of all, the location of this is not in the safest neighborhood. I didn’t know that when booking it, but now that I have seen it in person, it’s quite scary. The was a person sitting on the stairs in our way, not moving, and there were people at the end of the hall, (2 doors down from my room) doing so sketchy stuff.
Ok, onto my room. When we got to our room, I slide the key card to open the door, only to find out that the door was ajar. I pushed the door open and you can immediately smell cigarette smoke coming out. (Bare in mind I did ask for non-smoking room). We went inside and noticed that the alarm was removed from the ceiling and placed on the table, so I know it didn’t fall off by itself. Someone had removed it so they can smoke in the room. The room did not looked cleaned at all. Bed not made and toilet was used and the sink had all this brown gunk in it. I sat on the bed and it started rolling. This place was disgusting. I got out of that room immediately and went to complain at the front desk. He didn’t have any other room nor did he have anyone available to clean the room, so we left that place. I wouldn’t have stayed even if they had someone to clean it up. Never again. And it wasn’t like this place was cheap either.

Cannot believe I ended up at this property again. They changed the name to Sure Stay. Mostly occupied on a weekly basis it looks like. Our room looked partially renovated but not very clean and the bathrooms vent was not working properly. Just not well maintained. I thought Best Western had higher standards. My card had 3 nightly pending charges for a one night stay. They are supposed to be dropping two of the charges and returning our deposit.

Please find another location. We came to pick up my son from the college for Easter on the way to Sacto. Smoke permeate the room. Blood stains on pillow cases. Bathroom was awful, parking was difficult, Broken furniture. We had been driving for 9 hours and just wanted to sleep. To top off our stay we found condoms by our vehicle in the morning. All around nightmare.

First off, the building is filthy, the front desk demanded a hundred dollar deposit in cash, then a big deal was made not to smoke in the room when the room smelled like it had been used as a smokers den. on top of that, the room had two splotches that clearly were from someone knocking holes in them.

then the upstairs walkway is big enough for one person so if you are going to your room and someone is leaving you have to walk back to the elevator area and change places,

This property has taught me do some research before booking a room from online likes and stars alone.

My Sure Stay By Best Western In Vallejo

The metal thing in the bathtub that is put above the faucet was falling off, there were holes in the bathroom wall, I think, where a towel rack went. There were no towel racks to put the towels on. The towels were filthy, and the linoleum floors were dirty. I think the carpet was dirty, too. There were no small bottles of lotion.

This hotel is almost in the emergency lane of the freeway,.( Sounds like a joke but it's not one) so you hear Commercial Trucks, cars and motorcycles all night long, Our room had roaches and spiders, the hair dyer was broken and people on our floor outside yelling about something at 3am I think it was about the last piece of chicken or something, The \"New\" gal that helped us had a pleasant demeanor, But the husband and wife that I believe run the place were probably the most impersonal people I have ever met, I was told that I would be charged at the end of my stay, but was charged the full amount for the 3 days I stayed, at check in. My brother stayed one night in a different room and high tailed it out of there, his room door didn't lock well and with the combination of issues decided to go somewhere else. I will NOT stay there EVER again, look at other options before dealing with these people, MHO

Did not expect to wait outside a locked lobby at 515 pm for 20 min. When I asked the woman who finally left me if she knew I was waiting that long she said she was only gone 9 min. I also told her that when I called the hotels phone # it would not connect with anyone. She just told me she didn’t have any employees. No coffee refills left by housekeeping. Overall clean but needs tlc. Several small item fixes. Tv remote did not work with tv. Had to use manual mode.

Check in took quite a while as we were checking in around 10:00 P.M. There was no one at the front desk. I think maybe she was sleeping somewhere upstairs. Our room was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. There was a pair of shoes left in the room and handprints on the headboards. There was a light right outside our room that was not working properly and was flashing like a disco ball all night long. I don’t think the room was cleaned before we arrived. Sometime during the night our van was broken into and vandalized. The girl working at the front desk told us that this kind of thing happens all the time on their property. She also informed us that is was not a safe area to stay. There were no signs anywhere warning people of this, the parking lot was poorly lit, security cameras do not work and the hotel has no security. They would take no responsibility for the vandalism. Will NEVER stay there again and I would encourage anyone even considering this hotel to pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

When we arrive to check in at 3pm the lobby was locked and no one was there. Then we came back at 4pm and they finally came to open the door. The lady was nice enough to let us see the room before we paid our deposit to stay. It was ok basic but has everything we needed microwave and mini refrigerator.

It would’ve been fine, if we didn’t have all the freeway noise and all the homeless people living next to the freeway, it’s just saddening. We were on the second floor and the third-floor people were noisy all night felt like somebody was stomping around! The room itself needs to be refreshed the paint bed, there’s mold in the ceiling in the bathroom and the ceiling fan didn’t work too well. We had to program the TV when we got there which was kind of a pain in the butt. I would’ve been OK with a cheap hotel if it is just been a little quieter

The area was sort of ghetto and parking lot is very small, not everyone knows how to park within their spots and some cars hogged more than one spot. I eventually did have to park on the street somewhere in the neighborhoods nearby and walk over, which wasn't great in the middle of the night. Staff were quick to respond to a plumbing issue we had and quick to move us to a new room. The staff definitely seem busy and overworked!

The location is safe to stay in, there were families and other people who attended BottleRock like us. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean, I travel with Clorox wipes and I used quite a few. The room was functional but the mattresses were old and my back was sore the next day. We were there 3 nights and we were moved to a different room the third day. The second room only had one towel. I stopped by the service desk no one was there and I called to ask if I could get an extra towel and it never happened. If you’re using this to just have a bed at night it’s fine but due to the service and the overall cleanliness I won’t be staying here again.
