There was no water in any of the downstairs rooms at this hotel for the entire 5 days I booked this for. Apparently the water had been out for weeks and I did not get a notice, a discount a refund nothing. The water had been out since a earthquake some weeks beforehand. Not sure why they were allowed to stay open or why booking through a third party company disqualified me for any discount or refund or common courtesy. Very unsanitary and dangerous for guests.

It's nothing like the pictures and the rooms where super dirty I was afraid to have my feet touch the floor. The walls where super dirty I saw a review saying they had bug beds after reading that I was so worried that it I did check non stop to see if there was any I personally didn't find anything or have signs that there was anything. The beds looked really gross when I was looking. The pillows where super small they didn't have extras and when I asked for more towels they had to check to see if they had any extras. The breakfast bar sucked there's was two different bagels and two little containers with two different types of cereal in it and yogurt and that was it there was a sing saying if u took more then one bagel they will ask u to check out and to leave \"witch I'm like so o can't make my child a bagel not in less she's there? \" and honestly I woke up before my child does to wake her up with food. Never going here again I never felt the need to clean a hotel room so bad I was afraid to touch anything!!! Or have my kids touch anything!!!

booked two rooms for my family, and unfortunately, the experience was unacceptable from the moment we arrived. Both rooms had an overwhelming, foul odor—strong smoke and a generally musty, unpleasant smell. We requested new rooms, but there was no improvement at all.

When my wife checked the bedding, we were shocked to find visible stains, possible signs of bed bugs, and cigarette burns—this was just from inspecting the corner of the bed. We didn’t even want to see the rest. The conditions were so poor we couldn’t justify staying even five minutes.

To make matters worse, we had to put down a $100 deposit for each room—yet these rooms were in such terrible shape, there was truly nothing we could have done to make them worse.

We were traveling with children, and even they immediately felt unsafe and wanted to leave. Outside the hotel, people were openly smoking and loitering, creating a very uncomfortable environment. Within just 20 minutes of being on the property, we witnessed multiple disturbing incidents, including what appeared to be drug activity and even a hit-and-run nearby.

We left immediately and requested a refund. I strongly urge other travelers—especially families—to stay elsewhere.

Thee is shar turn to gain access to the hotel. The sink leaked all night with ahigh pitch sound all night. There was a Chester drawer that would not close securely. There were dead bugs near the clothes rack and stationary Iron.
The Tiles were cracked in the bathroom, stains and rips in the carpet. The floor boards were missing in sections of the room. There was dried blood on the sham of the bedding.

off the rip, there was bad vibes. a lot of homeless people roam the area and a bunch of sketchy people just walk around. a lot of people smoking in the area and rooms smelled like a bunch of cigarettes. front desk staff not professional at all. guy was flirting with one of the ladies that clean the rooms. super lazy and not polite.

This place was just dirty and the staff was not accommodating at all. We had a stay for 3 days and not once was able to get our room picked up or fresh towels throughout the stay. We asked several times and to get the room picked up and was never able to get it done…just kept getting the “yea we will let the maids know…. They are on the way…. And finally we got the, we’re sorry we’re short on staff” we checked out after day 2 of this and just came home. I asked for a full refund but haven’t even heard back about that. We even had random people trying to open our door in the middle of the night! Other than that the stores around the hotel were the only positive thing about this stay.

To wait for another employee come from break. Room was filthy with what appeared to be blood on the walls, stains on the linens, and a 6.6 out of 10 cleanliness rating on the health sheet in the bathroom. On our way out to dinner and employee sitting in a vehicle in front of the lobby was partaking in extracurricular activities with another person visible to all. The employees were rude and disrespectful. Our key stopped working at 8am when check out was 11am. Horrible place to stay.

This poorly maintained hotel was our pick for a one night stay in San Francisco Bay area. The experience was limited to the few hours of the night, but everything was suboptimal, the room smelled like it hasn't been ventilated in a while, the bathroom had mildew stains, the mattresses were narrower than a standard queen, the (free breakfast buffet) was very poor and we were not able to take the few items offered because they (just ran out of utensils). Also, when we were leaving we discovered that our car which was parked at the far end of the parking lot, was splashed with coffee or some liquid!

Dear Days Inn Management,

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent stay, as there were several issues that significantly affected my experience.

Firstly, the room service was disappointing. For two consecutive days, my room was not cleaned, and a “Do Not Disturb” sign was placed on my door by the staff without my request. I had to address this with reception, which was inconvenient.

Additionally, the breakfast service left much to be desired. On several occasions, there was little to no food available, and what was offered was lacking in quality. More concerning, though, was that the coffee and tea were often either empty or appeared to be leftover from the previous day. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the response was dismissive, with the attendant insisting that the coffee was fresh, despite evidence to the contrary.

I hope this feedback helps in improving the services for future guests.

Well the room need lot of maintenance, the A/C fan was not turn off, sofa arm was a cigarette burn, carpet has an iron burn mark, the bed cover has a big stain, for the price we pay was to much concerned the issues we found it with the room.

The pillows are dirty. We stayed in a non smoking room but still smells like someone smoke inside the room. The bath towels have a strand of hair on it. The shower curtain doesn’t work the water keeps coming out of the tub. The tv has a black lining on the middle and it’s hard to watch tv. Door locks are broken also.

The check in person could have done better. We arrived for check in at 3pm and was given a room on the 2nd floor which is technically 3rd floor the way it’s built. We asked for room on 1st floor due to mobility problems. Room is old and funky looking. Bathroom looked like it was moldy. We did not use shower. Tables in bedroom were scratched and bad condition. We also had to pay a $150 fee refundable in a couple weeks if we left room in good shape. We’ve stayed multiple times but will not stay there again.

Unfortunately our room was not clean and was falling apart. The pulls to open or close the shades were sticky. The sink was dirty at the drain area. The bathroom had streaks of stuff on the walls. The carpet was peeling up under the sink and generally greasy/sticky feeling everywhere, the mirror was dirty, and maybe worst of all...we had to plunge our toilet every time we used it. Except there were some broken tiles right where you step out of the bath and you could get cut or trip on them if you didn't avoid them.

We asked a couple times about maybe getting a partial refund since they couldn't move us to a different room, but they said something about not being eligible because we booked through Expedia.
The lowest price point for an alternative hotel would have added approximately $300 to our trip and that hindered our changing to a different property altogether.
Parking was extremely limited.
At other places we have paid what we paid for this place and had a clean room that had been taken care of and the whole property maintained so I don't think it unreasonable to expect at least that much.
We had read that they clean and provide fresh towels every 3 days. They never came and we were there for 6 days. We asked about that and they said they don't come in at all unless you specifically request it.
The the front desk was nice but they really couldn't/wouldn't do anything for us. Seemed surprised we wanted a new room. We were SOL. Wasn't even an option to make it right

I've stayed at this location multiple times before. I have to say this time around I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The shower had the previous guest's personal bar of soap still sitting in the shower. The fire alarm decided to go off around 5 am and after calling the front desk multiple times for assistance, we only got a \"ok, we'll note that here\". No one ever came to assist us. The sheets had many stains in them as well. I also think the price of the room was overpriced for the condition of the room.

First thing that I noticed were the pigeons sheltering underneath the solar panels in the parking lot with bird poop on the parking stalls, quickly moved my vehicle before any poop landed on it luckily. A few lightbulbs needed changing in the hallways but the one by my door was working which attracted moths and other bugs that flew right in the door when opened. The tv in the room was damaged from previous guest causing the quality to be poor and was unable to connect using an hdmi cable. The AC had been left on and while keeping it on did not make the room feel cold, only when standing in front of the fan. I was excited to see that my room had an option for jets in the bathtub however chose to not use it after turning the faucet on and seeing brown water come out. The bed and soft pillows were comforting and woke up without back pain.

Staff was really helpful. They did everything they could to help me. Room service was quick and complete. A bit old, but very reliable. The entrance is tucked away, but I felt safe the whole time. Parking is a bit unique, as it's on an incline but it was a natural security. Weekends were a little loud, can sometimes hear people through pipes and walls, but the room was VERY clean. My room always smelled fresh and new!

This place is a dump. I walked in the lobby to check in and stood behind a prostitute looking for a cigarette who was with an old guy with a bottle of wine. As I walked to my room, the smell of marijuana poured out of three different rooms. People had their shoes sitting in the walkway, doors opened. What seemed like gang members kept walking by. I left immediately. I did not feel safe. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy.

The surrounding area is very nice and the location of the hotel was not bad for our stay, it was close to restaurants and shopping. Surprisingly, there were not too many choices within this area. The property is older, but pretty much well maintained. It could do with a little updating here and there with a possible carpet clean or upgrade, but overall it was well kept. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bedding felt nice as well. The continental breakfast was exceptional. Check in/out was fast and easy. Another point to mention is the value and pricing which was very good. It was equal to a different motel within close proximity. I originally had not seen this hotel as an option prior to booking the other room. After staying one night at the other motel, we couldn't check out from there fast enough. I have since found this location on the list and truly don't understand how that \"unmentionable\" motel had better reviews than this, no comparison at all.
