Contacted expedia that we were charged in October and then charged for the rooms again on checkout by the property. Expedia we spoke to four people who didn’t understand so we reached out directly via email as well as through Expedia chat to the property with no response or acknowledgment. No hooks in bathrooms for towels and shower head flew all over wetting entire bathroom.

Central location! Walkable to any tourist spots in Seville with loads of restaurants around! The whole interior of the building was amazing. Full of character! All the staff were very hospitable. Made our stay extra special. The breakfast at the rooftop during sunrise was a nice touch. Only thing I could think of for improvement was possibly the TV. Only spanish channels. Would be nice to upgrade to a smart TV especially when resting after a long day of exploring lovely Seville. Otherwise, absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Casa de Colon!

This is a nice hotel in a great location. It is an older property and the room is a little aged, but has a nice charm to it. The bathroom was tight in a couple of spots and the shower was small. The internet worked well and it had a nice rooftop area. The hotel was OK as far as accommodations but great as far as location.

Location of property is excellent. The property itself is a little tired and in need of some love. The floor in our bedroom was dirty which we found out after dropping water on it and having to clean it up. The towel was black after mopping up the water. The staff are indifferent - not good or bad. The services were non existent.

Casa de Colon is a nice boutique hotel within convenient walking distance to many shops & restaurants. The Cathedral and Alcazar are plaza are short walks away. Marco and the hotel staff are warm and welcoming and he provided recommendations to places to dine. They offer a continental style breakfast which we enjoyed on our room patio terrace. You can hear the church bells ringing which is a nice touch however they ring all night long on the hour, so I would recommend bringing ear plugs to help you get uninterrupted sleep. We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Colon and loved our visit to Sevilla!

Cannot be more centrally located but the room was outdated. The walls/door are paper thin so we could hear everything going on in the hotel, especially from the interior courtyard where the reception area is. Ok for 1 night stay but wouldn’t stay longer.

Stayed 4 nights the last week of March 2025. The service was excellent. Marco, the person who checked us in and gave us a Marco was so helpful throughout or stay. Every morning he was there to give us free coffee, call us a taxi or just give us tips.
The hotel was very nice (old but nice). The bed was comfortable and being able to control the room temperature was key (March in Spain can still be warm). The bathroom was fine and came with all the shampoo and soap you need. The door was hard to open so maybe watch out for that. We did not partake of the breakfast so can not comment on that.

We were in room 204, facing into the lobby of the hotel. To start with, the lobby is lovely and rooftop a bonus. Location is perfect for what you'd want staying in the centre. However from the room, we found it to be very noisy, everything being said in the lobby is heard rather clearly so you're kept up late and woken early. We can hear other guests in their rooms and bathroom unfortunately. We found the room to have a musky smell and be rather basic (comfortable bed but the TV couldn't be any higher on the wall, and the doors very thin, with bathroom terrible for privacy). Overall, the service was kind and friendly, and hotel location, lobby and rooftop were all positives but the room felt a bit of a letdown. We wouldn't stay here again for the price we paid. 7/10

This small hotel is an absolute gem. Its location — between the Sevilla Cathedral and Plaza de San Francisco — can’t be beat. It’s close to everything, including the tram and an EA bus stop to/from the airport. Although there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the same street, it was very quiet.

Being in the city centre right on the road it was noisy from the traffic. I would not recommend the location if you are driving parking was hard to find and we had to opt in for another parking garage as we missed the closest and it would make us go around the city centre again as it is a one-way street. Overall we had a great stay at this place.

I loved my stay at the hotel! When I arrived there was a cycling race that was going to make getting to the hotel harder, but the manager was constantly giving me real time updates to keep me updated and help me with my arrival. This made me a lot less stressed, and I really appreciated his extra effort in making my stay easier. The room itself was also very nice, and the location is great! I would recommend this place to a friend!

Perfect location and within walking distance to everything! The room was huge and had very high ceilings which was nice. The bed was large but could have been more comfortable. We booked a grand deluxe room with a balcony that was supposed to have a view of the cathedral but the balcony was quite tiny and the windows were dirty so we couldn’t really see outside or stand on the balcony, so it wasn’t really worth it for that upgrade, although the size of the room made up for it. Breakfast was good and nice to have the option to be served in our room! The rooftop terrace had a wonderful view of the cathedral. Service was excellent. Shower had great water pressure. Overall a good stay.

This is a small, family owned and operated property, so if you are expecting a Hilton mega hotel you will be disappointed. But we found the property clean and well taken care of, and the staff friendly and helpful. When on our way out for lunch I mentioned that the mini fridge in our room wasn't very cool, it was replaced with a brand new fridge before we got back to the room. That level of service is rare in most big hotels. And the location is great, very near the cathedral and historic downtown with lots of walkable restaurants, shopping and things to see.

We had a fantastic stay at Maria Luisa. The location was super central and very easy to get around the town. The rooms are beautiful and there is a wonderful terrace for a cheeky fino in the sunshine. The pool looks great… unfortunately it’s open seasonally but you can still chill out on the sun loungers. The staff are also really lovely. Would absolutely recommend this hotel, we’ll definitely be back.

This wonderful hotel is very well located with only two minute walk to the cathedral. The hotel is full of character, from the entrance foyer and reception and the rooms themselves (we had a room on the top floor with a roof terrace).The hotel offers a breakfast that can be taken in the room, reception or roof terrace
The staff are extremely friendly, our stay clashed with the Seville Marathon and the staff gave us lots of advice about road closures and how we could make our travel arrangements. We will definitely stay here again.

Penthouse Room Listing is Misleading
So I booked what was described as a “Penthouse Room” and decided to pay a premium and splurge on a nice room for a few days in Seville only to find that the room was not the one pictured at all. Presumably the one in the photos is 302. 301 is a very small, very plain room and absolutely not worth the money. On top of that the safe did not work and the AC was out the whole time I was there and it was 90 degrees plus each day and and the room faces west and gets a ton of light and heat in the afternoon. I was told it wouldn’t be fixed until after I left. To remedy the situation I was given a portable unit powered by ice cubes. On the positive side, the lobby is beautiful and the hotel is centrally located which makes it easy to get everywhere you want to be but also means you are tripping over tourists every time you step out and there’s a lot of noise and activity. If I had it to do over I would have stayed in Santa Cruz or even Triana.

Beautiful historical hotel - a bit older understandably but it’s part of the charm and I embraced that. Charmin rooftop terrace overlooking cathedral, staff were helpful and lovely. Location cannot be beat in the center of the old town, lots of food options nearby, couldn’t hear noise on the street. you are steps away from the UNESCO sites and just 15-20 mins on foot to everything else, including triana. Very safe and secure.

This hotel is beautiful and well located. The staff are very nice and helpful. The building is old and they have done a good job of presenting that aesthetically but need to work harder to preserve the building itself as it is suffering serious plumbing issues. Our room was leaking from the ceiling and the shower would not drain, causing us to accidentally flood the bathroom.

Great location and exquisite old building with beautiful stained glass. Complimentary water in room was a nice touch in Seville heat. We had a room with private terrace and outdoor shower which was lovely. However, WiFi service was very weak and air conditioning in room did not seem to work at full capacity.

The hotel is in an excellent location close to the cathedral, Alcazar, shops, bars and restaurants. All the staff are very helpful and friendly so we felt very relaxed. Our room was a superior double at the rear of the hotel with a very comfortable bed, very clean with fresh towels daily. Possibly could do with a lick of paint and more drawers for clothes and space for toiletries. Breakfast was at extra cost and could be taken on the roof terrace with views of the cathedral. Although it was a varied Continental selection we felt there was a lot of waste because we couldn't eat it all. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Hotel principle was efficient and friendly, what unfortunately let the hotel down (which is in an excellent location) was a pungent damp smell in one of the rooms and a poor breakfast, strongly suggest going out for breakfast. Beds also pretty soft with most of us used to firm beds this may have been a personal thing.
