Great hotel, harrowing to get to if not in a taxi

LOVED the hotel - great location, awesome rooms, staff etc - HOWEVER the hotel should notify the incoming guests BEFORE ARRIVING that the place is impossible to get to with google maps, etc. Apple Maps and Google Maps simply do not work in this section of town due to the pedestrian only streets. The alley streets are so narrow that if you find yourself at a dead end, it is trecherous having to back-out. We ended up hiring a local taxi to lead us to the hotel as the local drivers are the only ones who know how to drive there

Too expensive for what you get.

This hotels location was great however the room was dirty, smelled of urine when we walked in. I’m 1000% sure the floors have never been sweated or mopped. We had to clean our feet every time we walked bare foot, and had to clean our luggage’s. Bathroom is small and I’m 5,1 130lbs. I think we over paid for this hotel and wish we would’ve stayed somewhere else for the value. We tried the terrace bar and waited an hour for s Brice ordered and never received our drinks waited another hour and they looked at me like he’s never seen me so we left. No space in the room, it’s very small we could barely open our luggage’s so we had to stack them on top of each other when looking for items. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Staff were helpful and welcoming. Loved our dinner in the hotel restaurant, featuring traditional Spanish dishes with a twist.

Standout moment was the rooftop bar with live flamenco guitar performance at sunset, with a breathtaking view of the cathedral. Would absolutely return to enjoy this beautiful property again!

The hotel seemed to be charming and well maintained on the website but the reality is different. It seems that it has been abandoned: you can notice everywhere that the paintings or details are not being refreshed. There was a bad smell (coming from the shower drain apparently) when we entered the room, which stayed the whole time. The shower was leaking. The mattress was not good. Room pretty small. Reakfast is good. They don’t have enough staff. It is impossible to talk to reception when you have a problem. 1 person has to do everything! Location is good and staff in nice, but there is a feeling of disappointment during the stay as you don’t get what you expect at all levels.

This is a beautiful hotel that is centrally located, close to all the wonderful sites in Seville. The only issue is that some bells ring at 7 am on certain days so sleeping in may be an issue. Otherwise the rooms and spacious with cathedral ceilings and big bathrooms. I loved it.

Don't think, just book!

I booked this hotel for my and my partner's 10-year anniversary, after seeing the pictures online there was no second choice, I had to book here.

As always, when you find somewhere that looks amazing online, you are sceptical when actually arriving in case the photos are from years ago or AI edited, but not at all I was over the moon.

Wow, this hotel is amazing! If you have ever watched the TV show White Lotus, this is what it reminds me of. The service from the staff, the decor, the rooms, the location - EVERYTHING was just PERFECT.

We have already and will be strongly recommending Los Seises to all of our friends and family!

Pros: The property is in a great location, walkable to most locations you’d want to visit in Seville and lots of places to eat and drink. The rooftop/pool area also has a lovely view of the cathedral and the pool is a lot larger than many of the pools in Spanish inner city hotels. Jorge at reception was also amazing, helpful, friendly and provided lots of suggestions on what to do and see in Seville.

Cons: the property is a little outdated and the bathroom is sub-par with mould and grime in the bathroom. The safe in the room also didn’t work and one day we returned to our room and notice some money was missing from our bag left in the unlocked safe (€40 so not a lot but it’s just the principal). The rooftop is also rather dated and there are no pool towels until the staff start at midday… strange. Lastly, housekeeping was a little useless, I returned to my room after noticing our “please clean” sign was removed, when I entered the room it had been half cleaned with pillows on the ground, bed half made, rubbish/coffee machine in the process of being cleaned (assume she had taken a break midway through) so I left and returned after 40min to find them still cleaning the room. They also didn’t replenish our coffee, water, body wash or lotion, we had to request via reception.

Beautiful hotel, but needs attention to a few area

Whilst this hotel had beautiful communal areas, our room, whilst nice and large had a problem with an extremely smelly shower drain, housekeeping were aware of it but didn’t do anything until we mentioned it to front desk, (3 days into our 5 day stay) we had a large terrace, but wifi did not work on terrace or on rooftop pool area. In our room we had to listen to very loud music from rooftop bar until 1 AM every morning, we did complain but were just told sorry it finishes at one! However on checkout we did not have to pay the 10 euros bar tab as compensation. Rooftop pool/bar area is very very nice

Extremely noisy during the weekend. most rooms are facing a courtyard which resonates the music from the rooftop bar opened until 1am on the weekend. Not great when you are travelling with a 8 month old baby and have requested a \"quiet\" room. So make sure to ask for rooms away from the courtyard.

Great central location, lovely roof terrace, big room with big bed BUT towels and bedding grey and need replacing; toilet didn't flush properly and despite two cleaners not being able to make it work reception insisted it did work and we just had to stand there for 10 minutes constantly flushing! Very unhelpful!! On the last night they offered to change our room, but it was too late...

I was trying to reserve ticket for Real Madrid game but since i am an American for some reason all my credit cards wont go through, Paola the receptionist volunteered to use her credit card and i give her cash. Our package included breakfast which was very good.

Unfortunately, we had a significant amount of ants in our room for our entire four night stay. Also saw a lizard/salamander in the main stairwell. Floors weren't cleaned. Overall, our stay was acceptable based on location but did not meet the rating standard on this site due to cleanliness and service

Good hotel in excellent location

Once you have found the hotel (my taxi driver couldn't !) in the maze of old town streets, you realise that it's in a great location and the views of the Giralda tower are fabulous. Staff helpful, friendly and professional.
Communal corridors are probably the most interesting areas of the hotel. Sadly, not enough is made of the historic fabric of the hotel.
Bedrooms, \"as advertised\", and although scrupulously clean with comfortable bed and good quality bed linen, they are fairly stark and don't encourage you to linger. Whilst there is a coffee machine (mine didn't work) in the bedroom, sadly no kettle. The first 2 coffee machine capsules are free - thereafter E.1.50 per capsule.
Large well equipped bathroom with excellent L'Occitane toiletries. Lighting could be better above hand basin.
Roof terrace and breakfast room look tired and both need improvement. The terrace is a favourite haunt of the young (especially non-residents) in the evenings and can be rowdy. Pool small - too cold to dip when I was there.
Excellent breakfast with lots of variety: fresh fruits, hot and hot options - and good service.
Perhaps the only real downside for me was the drainage smell found on arrival in the bathroom, Unusually for a 4* hotel and especially as I staying for a week, I was not offered an immediate change of room until the problem (a bidet blockage apparently) was checked. It was fixed but I think similar hotels might have offered an immediate room change or room upgrade.

Great location, very central Seville with roof top terrace view of the cathedral. Stayed for New Year 2020 and enjoyed NYE event of flamenco, dinner and drinks which was arranged in advance with hotel. Breakfast available on site , if you choose. Able to stay with children but be aware steep steps at entrance not helpful for those with pushchairs. Check your room type reservation on arrival. It was disappointing to use time to sort out the right accommodation at the start, but front desk did find a comparable room to original booking.

We checked in room 105 and the room smelled. When we complained they said that they do not have any room available and have to wait for a day. The smell was coming from sewage and we couldn't sleep the whole night. After several requests, they finally moved us to room 205. They did not even apologize for the smell and later admitted that the room has a problem.

Outdoor pool and rooftop bar with a great view of the cathedral were a nice touch! Staff we helpful and let us take takeout to our room. They ordered a taxi for us and gave plenty of information about the area. Only gripe was in the bathroom, why put a glass slide where the taps are? 😂 But honestly this takes away nothing from how great the rooms and service were. Definitely would recommend. Also, it’s a 30 second walk from the city!

As this is my second visit to the same property, the strengths are still the same. It has an unbeatable location, is surrounded by so many good restaurants, and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful. My first stay was only marred by a room which had an issue with bathroom, so I was really pleased on this stay to be given a much better room (larger, different layout). I love that they provided L'Occitane products, leaving a little box during turndown service. The rooftop bar remains a huge draw. Nothing better than to relax up there watching the daylight fade and the lights come on to illuminate La Giralda. Seville has become a favourite of mine, and it's hard to imagine staying anywhere other that Sevilla Seises.

If you plan on relaxing at this hotel, forget it. Hotel has a lot of regulations to control people coming in from out the street that affect the confort of its guest. Hotel staff is trained to tell you of all the things your can’t do but their last worry to treat as s patron of the hotel. Hotel denied me of a pool towel because the pool was closed and made me explain I only needed because i was cold. Second, they denied me eating at patio area even if you order food from hotel. Third, hotel will allow big groups of people( usually young kids) to come into the pool area to drink, therefore affecting the quietness and relaxing atmosphere. When I tried to explain to the hotel all the issues they weren’t receptive or accomadting and only thing they did was argue back and be defensive. Bad service overall. During the checkout I was offered discount to stay at their hotel, again as an apology, but I will never want to go back to this hotel.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and nicely sized. Location is fantastic and staff was very helpful. The rooftop bar/pool area is great. However, it also stays open late and is really noisy. Therefore, if you are hoping to get to bed before 1AM on a weekend you may want to look elsewhere.

AWESOME breakfast! Great selection to fit all dietary needs and even a little \"Barista\" to make coffee and tea for you. The dining area itself is super cute and hip.

The gal at the front desk was super helpful and spoke great English (most of the staff did).

Great location if you want to be in the more historic area. Lots of food, shopping and sightseeing within walking distance. They even have a free walking tour (but of course they encourage you to tip the guide).

It's a bit of a walk from the Triana area, but totally doable if you don't mind the 15-20 mins. I don't think it costs much to take a taxi to Triana if you prefer not to walk. We walked down there twice,

The room was comfortable and AC and WiFi worked great - two keys to a great stay IMO. Bathroom was large and had a blowdryer, also a plus.

Rooftop bar was cool but drinks were a bit pricey for the area. Pool was COLD which was nice and refreshing for a stay there in August.

No issue with it being too loud.

Only \"issue\" is that the area it is in can be a bit tricky. It took us a day or two to be able to find our hotel while walking back and forth -- we should have paid better attention to the area. A lot of small streets that run together so if you don't keep looking behind you, you may forget where you came from.

I would stay here again if I were coming back to Seville.

Nice hotel Very close to main tourist attractions

Lovely to get back from a trip and cool down in the pool with a cold drink.The free walking trip was excellent and should probably be done at the beginning of the visit. They will try to sell other visits. Be careful that they do offer reductions for senior citizens , children or students if applicable. We regretted not going to Italica but we were short of time.

Our experience staying at the Fontecruz Seville Seises Hotel was almost like staying at 2 different hotels at the same time. One experience was very positive, with friendly and helpful staff and funky décor. The other reminded our group of your first apartment – old hand painted furniture, some with doors slightly askew and silly problems that could be easily fixed if the management took the time to focus on the details. In short, the Fontecruz Seville Seises Hotel needs to decide what it wants to be – student-focused or boutique and up market.

Room smelled like excrement when we walked into room upon check in. Toilet would not flush. Had to ask for smell to be taken care of and toilet to be repaired as soon as we checked in. When smell did not go away, they unwillingly gave me another room stating there was only 1 room left, it’s either that or nothing. Location was good. Breakfast 19 euro, not worth the price. Roof top was pleasant although service lacking. Hotel has potential to be good but hotel pictures are better than reality.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the city of Seville.

We booked this hotel via Expedia and loved the hotel itself. Was a fantastic view and the room quality was top notch...the staff was very friendly and helpful and the experience was a 5 star experience.

The one issue we had was the hotel didn't mention they did not have parking and access by car was extremely difficult...streets are very narrow and maneuvering the car was impossible...we had to park in a garage and walk to the hotel after several failed attempts to drive to drop bags...BE ADVISED this hotel is very hard to reach by auto...

Splendid hotel near the historical center

Our first experience at this hotel was so good that we chose to come back, for several days. Location could not be better with regard to historical & artistic monuments as well as tapas bars, restaurants, etc. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout. The room was not only clean and comfortable but also spacious and tasteful. We'll be going back: this is \"our\" hotel in one of the most inexhaustibly interesting cities in the world.
