X No window, no kettle, no mirror, no extractor fan in bathroom, drainage to shower was so slow, the floor flooded, very noisy from internal courtyard, fan in room was useless. No taxi access to the road meant long walk with luggage.

Although there was a cafe attached to the hotel, that would happily give hot water for drinks it meant having to wait until it was open and then get fully dressed to go down 3 floors (and back!) get an early morning drink. Poor facilities. Outdated!

The hotel maintains the ambience of its 15th century roots. Beautiful indoor plazas with exquisite artwork. I cannot express enough my gratitude for the staff! I have a broken arm, and they made sure I was comfortable, provided ice for my arm & assisted me with my luggage. The room was charming, complete with doors opening out onto a small balcony which overlooked the main street below. Thank you for a very pleasant stay! I will return!

This hotel charged us $2,542 Canadian for 4 nights in a room with 2 beds and a cot.

The caregiver for our special needs sun canceled so we brought him to Spain with us. Upon arriving at the hotel the manager told us our room only accommodates two people (Expedia says 3+1) and we need to book a three person room.

She also informed us there would be no refund on our first booking since we were canceling on the day of our arrival, so we lost $892.00 CAD.

Tha new 3 bed room cost $1,000 Euros ($1650 CAD)
$1650.+$892 =$2542 CAD for a 4 night stay in a room with 2 beds and a cot.

I called Expedia and they weren't any help at all. They said they do not control Hotel pricing.

This is my first hotel review. I feel I have no choice but to express how devastated we were by the $2542 charge. The rmanager showed zero compassion for our situation, offered us the mostl costly alternatives and, in fact, were actually defensive and argumentative.

According to another staff person, they could have allowed us to keep our first booking and pay for a single room, which would be much cheaper. I'm not saying we would have accepted this option, but they at least should have offered it to us. Instead they offered us ehat was most lucrative for the hotel. October 2025.

Location was in the heart of all the restaurants and close to sightseeing places.
We were there on a weekend and found it noisy as our room faced the Main Street.
But the beds were good, staff was helpful, so an overall good experience.
If you have a car, there is no way to easily get to the hotel and no parking.

Three nights in Sevilla.

Great location once you’re there. If you’re driving… don’t!!! At least to this hotel. A stone’s throw from the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar. Restaurants and bars all over. A not so pleasant smell emanates from the sinks. But I think that’s standard in Spain having stayed in numerous Spanish hotels and homes. The biggest selling point for this place? Location. Room was clean too.

Is old style and quaint but a little dusty. The bathroom had a bad supher smell and we stayed in 206 with a large super kind bed but the noise from the people visiting the roof terrace was ridiculous and became very annoying. The terrace is really nice but we were given initially no information and then the incorrect information so never got a drink because it was closed or closing. Quite annoyed about this as we specifically asked to plan our New Year’s Eve around it. Staff were pleasant. Ensure you book ahead for Cathedral and Alcázar as tickets limited

NEGATIVES: Doors lock with real key and cannot be opened from inside or outside unless someone unlocks door with another key (only get one)-Huge fire/emergency issue. Construction going on right outside the room with hammering/banging early morning through late at night. Shower curtain rod didnt fit and kept falling and hitting us in the face. No secure area to store luggage-its just stacked downstairs in public area behind a portable privacy screen. Told breakfast included, but wasnt on list (just lunch meat slices, cheese, and small piece of cake (?) for extra money). No card supplied for door-Do Not Disturb/Clean Room-they knocked repeatedly all morning to come in. Safe in room was already locked & not working at check-in-hotel said they needed a technician to come in and fix, but no one came during 4 day stay. Phone does not call down to front desk/room service and not marked with departments for easy use. POSITIVE: Central location and pretty rooftop terrace for drinks/dining (closed mondays).

The location is great. The staff is great. Plenty of eating options nearby. The only negative we had is that the place can be quite noisy. we were on the 2nd floor. the 3rd floor terrace has an aluminum stairway that goes up to a higher landing. the noise of people going up and down just echos in your room. additionally, the open courtyards in the buidling cause the noise to gravitate up and down the building. I had to use ear plugs to sleep because folks were staying up til 3-4am and talking quite loudly.

Aside from that, the room was comfortable. The safe was alittle challenging to use, so we ended up not using it vs risking not being able to get back in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely hotel except for the fact there were renovations in the hotel. On 2 mornings the banging started at 8am & on the 3rd morning, at 7:20am. It was also impossible to rest during the day as the banging & drilling continued. I think we should have been given this information on booking and had the choice to choose an alternative.
The roof-top bar was a real bonus and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It sounded good, but reality just too different

We lasted one night then had to check out and find a other hotel. The hotel itself was pleasant, the story of its past life was intriguing, but the room was no where close to its description. Decoration was incredibly basic, white walls, unmatched lights, random wall hangings. The TV was closer to 16 inches rather than 46 inches per the write up. Our premium bedding was a sheet with a pen like stain, a cover my nan would have liked and some uncomfortable pillows. The bathroom looked like someone had started to decorate with fresh plaster and a nice sink/mirror, but this was also where the only accessible power sockets were. The shower was showing some age. We did report this however only one other room available over our stay, but would cost what we had already paid and a bit more. We decided to make the best of it - we love Seville - however we were woken at 8am that morning to the sounds of construction immediately below our room which we weren't told about. Sorry, that's too many issues to manage for a 10 day stay. We did check out, signing 'something' which we were told was just because of leaving early but weren't given a copy.

The one thing that we would have liked was tea/coffee making facilities.

Didn’t eat there but drinks service was good. All the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. It is an old convent so dont expect modern and plush. The rooms were a decent size, though I believe not all have external windows. I did have issues with getting hot water for a shower. The first room I had I gave up after about 30 minutes of running the tap and had a cold shower. I did then get offered a different room. However it still took a while and I felt bad for running the tap for so long and wasting so much water. It may be better for the hotel to install local electric shower units. Considering its location and price of other hotels in the area it was reasonably priced and ideal for a short stay.

This hotel is absolute gem in heart of Seville everything was near by and easily walkable.
As it's in center it's old building with lots of character so I enjoyed ambient of traditional Seville that I really liked.
Check in was smooth and very friendly,welcoming and hospitable receptionist who give me lots of information about Seville as well as very good map that I was using while was in Seville as point of reference to marc places that I visited.
Only reason I didn't give excellent property condition and facilities was wrong info about hotel here that stated that iron is available in request however when I've asked on reception they said they don't give that any longer and offered me laundry services that was €4-€9 per peace of clothing which I was not happy about, If I knew about it I would have brought my travel iron and wouldn't have no issue with it. I suggest to Hotel and Expedia to amend that information so future travelers don't have issue in future.- otherwise very clean and warm homey property.
As solo traveler I felt very safe in hotel and surroundings as well to walk around everywhere. Roof terrace bar is Magical with stunning view of Cathedral with settle music in background , friendly and hospitable waiter - all together very nice atmosphere to finish your day.
Breakfast was very nice and filling and waiter was friendly.

We had the larger room but it was located right above the coffee shop so it made for a very noisy early morning as the cook prepared for the morning breakfast. Just know you will sleep okay if you close the bathroom door to block the outside noise at night. The room was comfortable and the view from our balcony was awesome... saw the tip of the cathedral. There is also a rooftop bar that has a great view of the cathedral. I did not appreciate the service at the rooftop bar as the staff were standoffish and catered to the young locals. You would think that preference would be given to the residents but alas no. On our last night, we were denied a table even though there were clearly empty tables available, and we had dined there the previous two nights. Just know the rooftop is a mixed bag depending on the staff. Don't bother tipping as it didn't make a difference on the service provided. I will say that the staff at the hotel were nice. Breakfast is pricey at the coffee shop.

This hotel is nestled in the winding streets of Seville. It is very central to the top sights and the rooftop restaurant has a stunning view where you can spend hours enjoying the night looking at the cathedral and plaza d’España lit up at night.

Had a very lovely stay at the hotel. Room basic (which we didn’t mind) and clean. Location of the hotel was fantastic as you’re right in the middle of the old town so very close to all the tapas bars and cathedral. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
