Small hotel in a great location of historic Seville. Even though it was in the heart of the city, it was on a small side street so it was very quiet at night. The location was perfect, and all of Seville’s main sights were in easy walking distance. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but enough to start the day off.

We had a great stay just spoiled one morning with a chap with big glasses didn’t listen to my request for soya milk and tried to belittle the request and then talked non-stop very loudly for the whole of breakfast - I think he was a manager but all other staff were brilliant 5 stars!!!

The location of this hotel is second to none. Literally minutes from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. Heaps of bars and restaurants nearby. Taxi rank minutes from the hotel which came in handy for getting to pick-up points for day trips as it is still dark at 8.00 am. Staff friendly and helpful.

Exactly as expected a cure not frills hotel right in the heart of the city. Close to plenty of restaurants as well as some night life (stay a little loud at night but not enough to keep us from sleeping). Room was clean, nice view from the open window and hotel staff was friendly. Free coffee and tea was a bonus for while we were getting ready. Good value for price.

The parking lot recommended was great but it is a bit of a walk through the narrow and winding cobblestone streets of Sevilla. So- try not to bring too much luggage if you’re driving (or make arrangements with a cab).

It is right at the heard of old city center. In a charming little alley. No laundry no problem. Front desk were professional and friendly. 3 fake balcony but no view and we expected that. One free bottle of water. Let just say no rooftop unless your room is at the rooftop. Bed is so comfortable. The half glass bathtub curtain has loose bottom seal, lots of water outside bathtub each time we shower. Other then that, love the location. Taxi line is just at the corner. Lovely breakfast restaurant right outside. It was mid-September weekend. So crowded. Long line everywhere. We want to go up to “The Mushroom” to watch sunset, but line too long. We did get to the Cathedral rooftop tour and that was really good. Luckily didn’t go up the Bell tower, because it was Saturday, the bells banging every half hour. So loud.

Great location! Steps from the cathedral and only minutes from everything else. The staff was friendly and informative. Our room was nice with a great shower and nice terrace with great views of the cathedral. Our only con to our stay was we assumed the terrace was more private but you share with the room next door with a small divider separating it. Other than that this stay was perfect and the location could not be better. When we make our way back to Sevilla we will be staying here again!

A little gem! Great location. Very clean. The staff were fantastic, and couldn’t be more helpful, especially receptionists Jessica and Noella. The free beverages were a nice touch. We stayed in room 31 which had a lovely outside terrace area. Continental breakfast was ok and we had it twice at 9€ each but there are other places nearby where you get more for your money. VIP access free sparkling wine was only 250cl and not the 750cl bottle you might expect! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for the location -- it could not be more perfect, steps from the Cathedral, Alcazar, flamenco concerts; everything is walkable -- but would come back for the service. The staff is amazingly helpful and kind. All our tickets and bookings were taken care of for us, and problems solved, as well -- for example when we left a bathing suit at the ancient baths. It felt like home within hours of arrival. The free coffee in the lobby is delicious, and the breakfast spread is lovely for 8 euros more. I imagined that an eleven-room hotel would have a very special, intimate feel, and I was right. SO different than staying in a larger establishment. The rooms are not large, but everything you need is here, and the beds and linens are very comfortable. Rooms are made up perfectly every day. I just wish we could stay longer.

The Alminar was a lovely clean hotel to stay in whilst visiting Seville which was very well situated for all of the main attractions. Alminar was a very unique property and in a very good location to explore the best Seville has to offer. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. However, if you are looking for a good night's sleep, do not stay here. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on across the entire floor and on the street. Also, the beds are little more than a cot. This is a cool place, but it lacks amenities and is not sleep friendly.

Loved my stay at Hotel Alminar! Ambiance was great, clean, and the perfect location to walk to all the sites of Seville. Breakfast is very light, cereals, fruits and cafè. Perfect Location in Seville
We visited Seville during the April Fair, when reasonably priced lodging was hard to find. We booked our room then decided to stay a day longer and ended up with 2 separate bookings. We chose the Alminar for the location, which turned out to be perfect for exploring the city on foot. When we arrived at the hotel early, Francisco gave us our key and was able to store our bags for an hour until our room was ready. We returned from lunch to find our bags in our room. The standard room was small but clean, with a comfortable bed and nice linens. We were initially located in the rear of the hotel, over a street that was lively at night. The second night we were moved to one of three Double Superior rooms in the hotel, which was well worth the additional rate. Our room had a lovely terrace, with views of the cathedral and La Giralda. We even had views from the bed! We would certainly stay at the Hotel Alminar again. The location, lovely terrace room and exceptional service were well worth a return visit

The location was very convenient. We had a short walk down our pedestrian friendly street to get to the taxi stand. The cathedral was right there at the end of the street also. We had a small fridge in our room with complimentary 2 soft drinks and 2 waters. We were able to purchase milk at a nearby store for our cereal we brought from home. They have complimentary coffee and tea 24 hours. The staff were very helpful in helping with our plans while there. The hotel had it's own wifi that was very secure with a password.

Great location very close to most attractions! Fairly quiet given that it is in the heart of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well! The street it is on does not allow car traffic, so just be aware you will have to walk a little from the nearest street, but it isn’t very far at all.

Hotel Alminar is a fantastic hotel ideally located in the centre of the city in easy walking distance to all the main historic sites including just 2 minutes to the Cathedral as well as shopping and some great cafes and restaurants. The hotel is small and the team are friendly and went out of their way to help with restaurant recommendations, booking tickets and planning a wine-tasting day trip to Jerez. Special mention to Francisco, Abel and Noelia who were all so helpful. The hotel offered tea and coffee 24/7 which is included in the room price and cake in the afternoon which was a lovely touch. We had a room on the top floor which had small balcony which looked over towards the Cathedral and was a real sun trap. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Seville.

The owner Francisco greeted us as we entered the building earlier than check in. I gave him our name and expected the usual \"your room is not ready, yet\". Instead he handled the paperwork and got us set up in room 24. Modern, clean and spacious. Two singles pushed together. Some American TV stations. Mini fridge and safe. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. The staff is awesome with Danny telling us about his grandmother before our trip over to Triana where she lives. The only complaint is the WiFi. While great in the lobby, on the fringes of the building, reception is poor. Red Sox vs Yankees ALDS while we visited, so watching the games at 2:00-5:30 AM with signal dropping was frustrating. Sox won the series so we are forgiving. You must stay here if you're in Seville. Location is prime. Well done!!!!

Simple and very impressive for a hotel that doesn't cost the earth and is within staggering distance of all the main tourist attractions. The Alminar offers really, excellent value. The reception staff are all fluent English speakers and are most helpful. The hotel suits single travellers and couples (breakfast space is limited and tables are all for couples) and as such cannot be faulted. Beds are large and comfortable, the air conditioning works very efficiently, the bathrooms are modern and spotless and the breakfast (help-yourself) represents excellent value.

You will not find better hosts than the staff at Hotel Alminar. The unflappable Francisco even walked us to a nearby restaurant he recommended!! Rooms are comfortable and super clean and quiet. A 5 min walk from the cathedral makes the location perfect. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great location, nice staff, good breakfast buffet, good price; one of the best hotels I stayed in during a recent trip through Spain. It isn't a big fancy hotel so don't be looking for a pool or anything like that, but if you need a place to stay while seeing the sights in Seville, this is a good choice.
