PROS- Check in was easy and pleasant! The room is spacious and beautiful! It took a minute to figure out how to work the lights (there is a master switch as you enter the room). The breakfast was plentiful and well displayed. Valet was very courteous and accommodating. CONS-Problems with our room. We used the kitchen sink, and it started backing up and the disposal did not work. We opened the cabinet, and the water was leaking out from around the disposal seal. It was late so we cleaned it up and reported it to the front desk. We than used the shower (floor length glass doors) and the bottom seal apparently is not good as the water ran onto the floor. Again, we cleaned it up and reported it to the front desk upon checkout. So, for our stay we only had one sink we could use and had to have a towel on the floor to absorb water when we showered. We paid for Valet service. Because we use Cincinnati for various events we have the parking app, where it simply reads your plate and charges you accordingly. Valet parked our car twice (as we called for it briefly one time) so the garage read our plate and charged us twice. For a 24 hour stay, we paid a total of $132.18 for Valet service (including tips) and garage fees. I have reached out to the Hotel to start the process of where to begin my dispute. The Hotel is going to first reach out to Valet and have them contact me. I have not heard anything yet and have reached out to the garage as well. Not a good short trip experience.

They are remodeling which affected the evening social hour. And the current lounge area for breakfast was a bit dated and also not spacious enough. However, they appear close to having remodel finished. It will be really nice.

I love how spacious the suite was, it was just enough room for my family and the staff was really nice.

The issues I had was. The kitchen sink was stopped up which was definitely needed with a toddler and a family. I called guests services, but they never could get maintenance to come. They offered to switch rooms which was a huge inconvenience traveling with a child and after sanitizing everything. The lamp in the bedroom near the window did not work. The door handle fell off the closet door when pulling it, almost hitting my foot. The night of our stay the bathroom lights would not come on even after hitting the main switch and we had to use the bathroom in the dark. I asked for compensation as far as parking or something, they refused. I never got a call back from management. The only thing that was removed was my request for late check out because i checked out at normal time.

The breakfast crew was great, the breakfast was not. The homewood side was closed so it was the Hampton breakfast, and unfortunately a large part of why we chose Homewood was the breakfast. The desk crew seems bothered every time we interacted with them, and we do not ask a lot. The housekeeping staff was very Fri fly. The last night our AC went out in the middle of the night - I told the front desk early in the morning, no one came to our room until 10 minutes before checkout.

This is in reality two hotels which operate as one. Homewood suites hotel lobby and support is non existent. Everything is actually at the Hampton inn hotel which is connected . Check in was horrible you had to basically holler to get someone to check us in. Parking is additional $40 per day. Breakfast again horrible same as a low cost hotel. Quality bad however the support lady at breakfast was great. Checking out trying to get our car delivered was impossible. Noone available. We ended up getting a person from another hotel to get our car. Valet was non existent never stay there again

Homewood Suites by Hilton apparently in a dual venture associated with Hampton, as both names were in the building, with two separate check-in counters, but each counter served reservations with either:
On the second day an alarm in the room and the hallway went off with an announcement that an emergency was reported in the building and everyone should leave the building and NOT use the elevators.
So we and our disabled (but fairly ambulatory) child walked down from the 8th floor to the lobby where we were told \"It is just a test\".
Really? With no advanced notice?
And yet the announcement kept blaring for another 20 minutes?
And guess what? It happened again later that day, and when I tried calling numerous telephone numbers in the facility NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE!!
So of course we went down to the lobby - though this time taking the risky step of using the elevator. And there a uniformed person explained (with a smile!?) \"It looks like a smoke alarm might have gone off\".
This time the announcement only blared for about 3 minutes.
But there was no apology, no explanation from hotel staff, and never was any ALL CLEAR announced!
Could there be anything worse than a potential safety risk of this magnitude to be handled so feebly in a high rise buidling????
NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO TO FACILITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE NAME HOMEWOOD, HILTON OR HAMPTON!

I loved the area. Felt safe. The hotel needs serious updates. The beds were hard, and the furniture was very out dated. We stayed two nights, then decided to checkout early. We were sitting in our room and heard an automated voice come over a speaker in the room that said, \"4th fllor fire. Head to stairwell \". We grab our dog and walked 4 flights of stairs, to only hear that it was pushed accidentally. They could have let us know before we went down stairs. We were just not happy. Hotel needs serious upgrade.

Decor is dated but clean. Strange check-in procedure. I arrived 20 min before check in and was told I had to wait to check in but others were allowed to check in. Pet policies and ? extra charge weren't clear. There are not convenient areas to walk a pet outside for potty break.

The staff was incompetent and blatantly lied to our Expedia rep about our situation. They claim they gave our family of 6 a rollaway bed to accommodate two teenage boys when in fact they didn’t have the room we booked, it had chairs instead of a couch and we ended up having to purchase a SECOND room for almost $300 extra and split up the family.

I wouldn’t be as grossed out if we’d have been offered a discount or they at least admitted the situation. But no, they flat out lied. Do yourself a favor and go to a Marriott. I won’t be using Hilton again. The service was sub-par, the rooms were mid and the staff had no clue what they are doing. Customer service isn’t a priority here.

The shower was dirty with hair in it upon arrival. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything. The parking garage adjacent is a nightmare and the elevator does not work. So you have to pack luggage and everything up and down stairs depending on what level you have to park on. Would def not stay here again, there much better options at the price of $250 a night which is what we paid.

The first room we checked into was not actually clean and ready. There were no sheets on the bed. The front desk staff found another room and we checked into that one. When I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, the top of the pump for the hand soap and the hand lotion were so dirty that I had to clean them. They were covered in what was probably make up. The shower was so poorly designed that water just leaks out onto the floor. Even turning on the shower is hard because you have to reach around and pretty much stand in the cold water while you get the water adjusted. The front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating. But the hotel is definitely in need of renovation and probably a better housekeeping staff.

Overall the hotel and lobby are nice but areas definitely need help. Cracked tiles, worn rugs and some places filthy and stained carpet, especially on the stairs. Our room smelled of urine smelling disinfectant immediately and even on the bedding. The floors and carpet was very sticky. The bed was made very poorly and someone used a mattress pad for the spread. The sheets were stained. The coffee maker was missing the coffee basket and one was brought up to us right away when I requested at the front desk but it didn't fit either. Breakfast was very good and all of the staff were pleasant and courteous. We were told the bar was open until 11 pm. We were in town for the ballgame and went there at 10:45 pm and it was closed so we had to go find somewhere else which was fine since there was a nice bar on the corner. The hotel is within walking distance of the ball park and several other bars and restaurants.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Our rooms a/c did not cool. Didn’t budge from 77 degrees while it was 90 degrees outside. Three times we asked for maintenance to come and they never did. They didn’t even accommodate us to another room. We even tried to take cold showers and the water ran hot. Can’t imagine the warm, humid rooms not growing mold. Lots of construction and city noise as well so be aware. The only upside was the proximity to many places we were visiting. Never staying here again.

We reserved and prepaid for a 1BR suite for 3 adults. At check in we were assigned an en suite room with no separate bedroom and the desk person did not tell us about it. We complained and were told the type of room we booked was oversold. We pressed for right accommodation and were ultimately provided 2 adjacent. It is dishonest for Hilton to attempt a bate and switch and require us as guests to police our booking after a long journey. That’s not good hospitality and is shameful.

Overall, good price and location. We parked at the casino since it is free, onsite parking would have been preferable.

One of the USB plugs on the nightstand was broken and the phone was unplugged. It would have been nice to have an extra pillow in the closet; we ended up using the couch pillows for the bed.

The only thing I didn’t like was parking. As I had to park to get everyone up into the room and everything unloaded and we left to go do stuff this fee for 45 min $8.99. Next time we came back we had to park again in parking garage. This again 8.99 for 8 hours prob because it was the weekend. During the week I think you pay more. Anyways. We left the next morning 18.99 it cost us to be there over night plus a few more hours before checking out. There should be a discount offered if spending 200 dollars on a room for one night.

This will be my 3rd time booking at this hotel never had any bad experiences except this time. Check in was at 3PM but we arrived at 4:30PM and the front desk told us the room wasn't ready yet. We were told to wait 30-35 minutes until the room is cleaned. Waited 35 minutes and then was told the room is still not ready and didn't give an estimation this time. So instead of waiting for however long which the gentleman called and asked housekeeping and they hadn't even begun on our room so in that 35 minutes nothing happened so we asked if we could get another room and thankfully we got one right away at 5:30PM which is 2 hours and 30 minutes from 3PM check in. I'm disappointed I really like this hotel but I may look into a different hotel after this experience going forward.

Easy walking distance to the ball park.. with older kids and adults..not scary but little sketchy. room wasn’t ready at 3 for checkin but the room was clean when we finally got into it after the game. Kept the bags at the front desk until we could get into our rooms. Valet goes by 24 hours parking, they wanted to charge for another day after 3pm when the 140 game would have only lasted shortly after cutoff.. just listing things to be aware of for this hotel. No real complaints. Just different hospitality than at other places we have stayed around there.

The room was nicely laid out, quiet and it had a very nice shower. Also the breakfast was very enjoyable. However, we were never able to connect to the internet and it would have been nice to have a safe and a bedside clock. And we don’t remember seeing a telephone in the room. That being said, we would make a return visit!

This was our first time to Cincinnati. Please beware that you have to pay to park $42/day, plus tip the valets every time they put your car away or bring it up for you. They do not charge you to go in & out like some places do. They are very nice, courteous & took good care of the vehicle & got it quickly each time. Having said that, you have to pay to park almost anywhere you go in the city & either need to hunt down a pay machine or download the app to pay for parking.
The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. There fabulous, hot, full breakfast of eggs, sausage, breads, yogurts, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit & juices. Coffee, tea & hot chocolate are free & available 24 hrs.
You do have to use your card key to ride the elevator as well as get into your room. The gym is fantastic with Peleton bikes, treadmills, weights & elliptical machine along with a pool.
Room service is only every other day unless you request service everyday.
Overall I would recommend this hotel.
