I had an unexpected trip out to Cincinnati because my elderly mother went to a trip and got sick and I had to fly out to get her. I took her to stay at this hotel for a day and a half while we waited for our flight to fly out, she rested recuperated and we went downstairs to the restaurant whenever we needed to eat it was absolutely lovely. It was a beautiful place to stay and we were so grateful for how kind and caring everyone on the staff was.

The hotel itself is in a great central location. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and the ballpark within walking distance. The room itself showed its age. Carpets, walls, bathroom, all showed their age. Bed was clean, no issues there. Biggest issues were the shower water temperature and the air conditioning unit. Shower took forever to warm up. We nearly called the desk to request a switch before it finally warmed up. The AC died midway through our stay and the temp jumped up to 77 in the room. After shutting it off for a bit, and finally charged back up but never got below 74, and the humidity was uncomfortable. The AC was extremely noisy, making loud clanking noises all throughout the night. Was a tough couple nights of sleep in Room 1410. You get what you get for the price, as it was one of the most reasonable central hotels. Wouldn’t stay again unless necessary.

Terrible stay, first they gave me someone else’s room and someone tried to get in while I was already in the room. This was quickly fixed. The faucet in the shower was leaking and made loud noise, I asked them to fix it no one ever came by to fix it within the 4 days stay. Overall room is outdated as well as the bathroom.

#1)They checked us into a room that was already being used. We went in the room and someone’s stuff was in the room!
#2) After we got a non-occupied room, the air conditioning unit was SO noisy. But not in a nice relaxing white noise way. More like it sounded like a tarp flapping in the wind and rattling like crazy.
#3) Also, NO HOT WATER!!! Beware! Several nights we let it run for about 20 minutes and it never got hotter than lukewarm. Only one night out of our 5 night stay did we have hot water.
#4) no parking at the hotel unless you want to pay valet $60 per night!! So be mindful that there aren’t parking options unless you pay to park. We found a place a block away that was $21 a night.

I would like to start off by giving a shoutout to Tanesha. When I got to the hotel, it was still pretty early. She asked if I wanted to become a Hilton Honors member so I could check in early. I agreed and, not only was I able to check in right away, but I was also placed on the 26th floor, which was really nice. The hotel is clean, the lobby is spectacular, and the staff is very nice and helpful. The only thing I would say isn't ideal is how weathered the hotel looks. It is an old building and I understand the importance of maintaining its structure and style, but some touch ups wouldn't hurt. Overall I would still recommend this hotel, especially due to its convenient location.

I didn’t enjoy my stay at this hotel at all. The parking garage is a hassle to access with heavy luggage, wrong room was given, no room service as advised, we were told that we could call and order food for pickup from the bar/restaurant but then they told us we couldn’t do it when we tried the next day, we were told no to nearly everything. Completely empty shampoo bottle when we arrived, which I discovered in the middle of my shower. This is not a luxury hotel and possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in as far as service and amenities go. They will not lift a finger to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I was shocked by this, as I’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels over the years. This hotel is unlike and Hilton I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever. My daughter was unexpectedly sick when we arrived and they wouldn’t even let us order and pick up food from the restaurant to avoid getting other people sick. Absolutely awful experience all around.

Great place to stay if going to a Reds or Bengals game. Maybe an 8 min walk to both. Would give 5 stars but they unknowingly charged my card for the room when we checked in, even though I specifically mentioned I paid through Expedia. Check your accounts after your stay. Funds were returned. Front desk staff was very helpful.

By far one of the coolest visuals of any hotel ive stayed in! The bar reminds me of the roaring 20s and looks like a spot Frank Sinatra would hang out in. Great drinks in particular the old fashion and the staff was great as well! Super comfy bed and walkable to so many other spots to dine or drink.

I get that it’s an old building that won’t be perfect and usually I find staying in historic hotels to be charming, but the condition and cleanliness of my room were pretty disappointing. Upon arrival, it was as though no one had stayed in or even entered that room for a very long time. Everything had a thin layer of dust covering it, including the coffee cup lids and the remote control for the tv. There were dark droplet marks left behind in the sink. The ceiling was peeling and a small chip of paint had fallen down onto the side table. The carpet was heavily stained. The bottle of shower gel had clearly detached from the bathroom wall at some point prior to my stay and was just placed in the corner of the bathtub. Temperature couldn’t be adjusted from the thermostat. Fridge door was questionable as to whether it would shut all the way, so I was constantly paranoid I’d come back to some kind of puddle. If I wasn’t staying in Cincinnati for only a couple nights, I probably would have requested a room change or for the room to be cleaned, but it wasn’t a long enough trip for me to feel picky.

The hotel overall was very unique and clean. We love the art deco atmosphere! The staff were kind and courteous. The location is prime. We could walk everywhere, we walked to KY & to OTR from this location both in under 25 min. Reds stadium was a 10 min walk. We really enjoyed our stay. The only 2 negatives we encountered was the parking garage has no direct bellhop option. Thankfully we had our sons wagon stroller to cart our luggage back and forth upon arrival and departure. Additionally the bathtub is retrofitted so when we showered the tub would flex under our feet making a loud popping sound.

Hair dryers in the room are the small travel ones so bring your own if you have long or thick hair. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Hotel was pretty clean and staff friendly. The room we stayed in had peeling ceilings and the tub felt uneven to stand in, but overall was fairly clean. Close location to everything and is definitely walkable to reds or bengals games.

Beautiful building but poorly maintained. We had a live bug in the sink when we checked in, we booked a king suite and got 2 doubles handicap accessible. When they cleaned the room they didn’t replace towels, tissues, coffee or cups. They left 2 large trash bags in the hallway outside our room for 2 days. The windows were super dirty as well. I was very disappointed for a Hilton property

Ice machines were broken on 5 different floors. Fridge barely worked, couldn't get cold water out of the sink and on friday there was some kind of sewer line break and the lobby smelled awful and the room was basically unlivable. Couldn't use the water and nothing was done by the staff to manage this or compensate for the trouble.

We had reserved a mini suite in order to have two bathrooms. Unfortunately the one bathroom for some reason did not have any hot water. They tried to fix it and the next morning I had hot water initially for my shower only to run out of it within minutes. They did offer to move us but we were leaving the next morning.
The suite was comfortable and we had a nice view of the Ohio River. We will stay there again if traveling to Cincinnati but will definitely check the water before unpacking

Rooms look like they have been neglected since the hotel was built. Peeling paint everywhere. Carpet that is dirty and coming up around the walls. Air conditioner was super noisy and barely cooled the room.

The staff didn’t seem to want to do more than get you in and out.

Breakfast is not included with the room.

Overall I wouldn’t stay there again.

I paid for a King Junior Suite. The employee on the afternoon shift placed me in a standard king room and tried to gas light me when I told her it wasn’t the room that I booked saying my reservation was under a “King Studio Suite” asking me did I not want that. Not knowing I’d already been to the establishment and I know the difference. I told her that was not what I paid for & I wanted to be in the room that I booked & paid for. When I arrived downstairs a different employee said the room that I actually booked “flooded” and they placed me in a similar suite, but with two beds. I’m not sure why this wasn’t mentioned when I arrived but I guess the woman thought I wouldn’t notice the difference. There was blood one the bed comforters, dust on the base boards, & dirt in one of the bathtubs. Wasn’t the best experience this time around.

We did not get to have breakfast. When we checked in, the front desk guy told us breakfast was served until 10a.m. We got there at 8:50a.m., and waited for someone to seat us. The hostess came back to the front and told us it ended at 9a.m. So we missed out on the breakfast that I was hoping to celebrate. (Another couple was there at the same time we were, expecting the same, but was turned away as well.)

We spent some extra money to stay in a hotel with a grand reputation and wanted a bit of a premium experience. Instead, the staff was mediocre (especially in the valet), the water temperature in the shower was unusable--too cold for a long time, then too hot until I gave up, and the room was just okay. We're not mad about it, just really disappointed. Hopefully your stay will be better.

The property is very tired, but what it lacks in aesthetics it makes up in specially. The staff is great, and the decor is art deco somewhat, love that. Had very peaceful nights, getting rest for The Flying Pig runs. Even though it looked like there were kids there for prom. If you book here you’re not getting a a four star room, maybe 2.5, but the location and staff make you feel like four stars. I will stay here again when I come back next year.

Had the absolute WORST experience here causing us to end our stay early. Will never return!

*Line was over an hour to check in.

*Deluxe room (paid extra for) was still not ready by housekeeping 90 minutes after check in started (530pm) despite a confirmed check in 4 hours earlier at 130pm same day.

*Forced to take a standard room instead w/o compensation or refund of difference.

*Standing water in shower / drained slowly over night.

* Maintenance called THREE times the following morning to repair the overflowing toilet. Eventually told us they couldn't fix it and we would have to change rooms.

*Front desk told Expedia they had no room available to switch us to, forcing us to cancel plans and leave a day earlier.

*Poor customer service / was told to go through Expedia for any issues or refunds since that is who I booked with instead of Hilton directly.

*Breakfast bar ($25.00 PP cost) was out of most everything, or it was dried and old. Only one server for tables on a Sunday morning (w. a sold out hotel night the day prior) so no service to order outside of the laughable buffet. All yogurts had expired in early March, several weeks prior to our stay at the end of April.

*No parking - attached garage is $37 per day or $47 per day for valet

*Six elevators but only 2-3 working at a time.

*Very dingy, outdated, dirty, decor.
*Room refrigerator barely works
*No microwave
*Advertises room service online but doesn't have it.
*No vending machines, only $$ gift shop.

We stayed for two nights to go to a wedding. The day of check-in it was a madhouse with all of the guests and only two employees working the desk. The staff wanted me to take a lesser room because it was available, but I’d already paid for a deluxe room. They were quick to turn around the room for us to get in. I really like the bar in the hotel. It was very confusing trying to find where we parked our car and the different elevators. It’s a really big hotel. Overall, it was an OK stay. I probably would not stay there again.

Make sure you have a voucher for breakfast or you are a Hilton Honors member.
I was less than impressed by the condition of the broken sink bowl for a Hilton. The 1 elevator was Out of Order. The working elevator was shaking (doors). Coffee was provided in your room, but no access to coffee in the Lobby. The staff was very friendly!! Carpets in the halls were dirty and the furniture in the lobby was very worn.
I was just very surprised. I've been to several other Hilton hotels, and this was not to their standards.
