Had the absolute WORST experience here causing us to end our stay early. Will never return!

*Line was over an hour to check in.

*Deluxe room (paid extra for) was still not ready by housekeeping 90 minutes after check in started (530pm) despite a confirmed check in 4 hours earlier at 130pm same day.

*Forced to take a standard room instead w/o compensation or refund of difference.

*Standing water in shower / drained slowly over night.

* Maintenance called THREE times the following morning to repair the overflowing toilet. Eventually told us they couldn't fix it and we would have to change rooms.

*Front desk told Expedia they had no room available to switch us to, forcing us to cancel plans and leave a day earlier.

*Poor customer service / was told to go through Expedia for any issues or refunds since that is who I booked with instead of Hilton directly.

*Breakfast bar ($25.00 PP cost) was out of most everything, or it was dried and old. Only one server for tables on a Sunday morning (w. a sold out hotel night the day prior) so no service to order outside of the laughable buffet. All yogurts had expired in early March, several weeks prior to our stay at the end of April.

*No parking - attached garage is $37 per day or $47 per day for valet

*Six elevators but only 2-3 working at a time.

*Very dingy, outdated, dirty, decor.
*Room refrigerator barely works
*No microwave
*Advertises room service online but doesn't have it.
*No vending machines, only $$ gift shop.

We stayed for two nights to go to a wedding. The day of check-in it was a madhouse with all of the guests and only two employees working the desk. The staff wanted me to take a lesser room because it was available, but I’d already paid for a deluxe room. They were quick to turn around the room for us to get in. I really like the bar in the hotel. It was very confusing trying to find where we parked our car and the different elevators. It’s a really big hotel. Overall, it was an OK stay. I probably would not stay there again.

Make sure you have a voucher for breakfast or you are a Hilton Honors member.
I was less than impressed by the condition of the broken sink bowl for a Hilton. The 1 elevator was Out of Order. The working elevator was shaking (doors). Coffee was provided in your room, but no access to coffee in the Lobby. The staff was very friendly!! Carpets in the halls were dirty and the furniture in the lobby was very worn.
I was just very surprised. I've been to several other Hilton hotels, and this was not to their standards.

The public areas are stunning-beautiful architecture and art. However, the rooms are less than stellar. The clerk was very short & rude at check-in when I inquired about parking. We ended up getting a switch on our room immediately after checkout due to a strong mildew smell in the hallway that somehow worsened in our room as well as a dirty toilet. Carpets were very dirty with huge stains, there was no pool contrary to advertizement, & bathrooms were very small and the tub wasnt even wide enough to stand with your feet at shoulder-width. The gentlemen providing bell services were kind. We did not partake in any of the dining nor beverage options while here. Overall, the private areas absolutely did not live up to the Hilton name or what I would expect of the brand.

It’s a shame that this really classy hotel has fallen on such hard times. I thought the rooms would be classy but the furniture looked like it came from a cut-rate hotel along the Highway.
The bathroom is very small and it takes a very long time for hot water to get up to the 26th floor.
To be fair the dining room is really worth seeing, like something out of an old movie, and the service was very friendly.

Awful stay. People at desk not helpful. Our toilet was clogged so had to wait until someone finally came to fix it which caused us to not be able to go out that night. Pipes were very loud so did not get any sleep. Holes in the wall and in the ceiling in hall way. Would NEVER stay here again. Very sad when you have a weekend away and $$ is wasted at this hotel.

This hotel was just average. It is Definity old. If your room is on the ends, it will take at least 30 minutes for you to get hot water!! And even then, it's not really hot. The breakfast buffet was terrible! It seemed like reheated prepacked foods. Disappointing! The staff were all kind and friendly! It was a disappointment for our special weekend. Not worth the money we paid!

The hotel is nice and well maintained, and the lounge and bar area are especially enjoyable. The live band was excellent and added to the overall atmosphere.

However, our experience at the bar was disappointing. The server was quite pushy, rushing us to order drinks, food, and even dessert in quick succession, which didn’t allow us time to relax and enjoy the ambiance. Later, she asked us to close out our tab because her shift was ending, which felt unprofessional and rude.

Additionally, the bartender prepared a drink for my wife that had far too much milk and not enough of the actual ingredients, and even shared part of her drink with another couple. The glass was also filled with an excessive amount of ice, leaving very little actual cocktail.

Overall, while the hotel itself is very pleasant, the bar service significantly detracted from our experience.

For the cost of the room, one would expect the owner of the hotel to be more strict on maintaining this hotel, it is historic, the art is lovely, the staff are extremely kind and prompt to assist, but our room experienced a sprinkler that began pouring water from it and an air conditioner that was not fully functional, everything was covered in dust, the mattress was however extremely comfortable, the pillows and sheets were divine, the location of the hotel is great for why we were staying there, but personally, I will not be paying for a night to stay there again. Again, staff was AMAZING, especially responding to the leak, this is the hotel owners fault, not theirs.

Bedroom suite we had was amazing. Two bathrooms and the extra space was a huge bonus. Exploring the hotel and plaza area was very interesting and our kids loved it too. Parking is kind of annoying and valet tried charging us extra at the en of our stay.

This place needs to take better care of their rooms. The lobby is gorgeous, and then you get to your room and the carpet is stained, the paper is peeling off the walls, and there were tiny holes in the sheets. My refrigerator didn’t even work. For the price…it’s not worth it at all. I will not be back.

We’ve stayed here before mainly due to the bar. We were in Cincinnati for a wedding and decided to stay here again. We will not be back. Front desk person was nice while checking is in. After that, the experience was not great. The TV was broken on tilted, the ice makers were broken in floors 4, 5 & 6. Called down to ask for ice and the clerk said, go to the 8th or 9th floor. The bartender was rude. There were holes in the sheets and the valet did not answer so we could ask for our vehicle. This stay was a 3 out of 10.

I had an unexpected emergency just a few hours after checking in, and the staff handled everything with such professionalism and care. They were incredibly understanding and supportive during a very stressful situation, and I’m truly grateful for how they treated me.
I also really appreciate their help with the reimbursement process, especially since my stay was cut so short. That meant a lot, as this was a trip I had been looking forward to.

This was a very disappointing experience, especially for a Hilton property. When my friends and I arrived, we spoke with the valet attendant, Scott, because we were attending a concert and likely would not be staying overnight. We asked if we could pay the 12-hour valet rate instead of the $49 overnight rate. Rather than listening to our explanation, Scott repeatedly interrupted us and told us he would charge us twice. He then told us we could “go park somewhere else and pay a cheaper price.” The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Despite the interaction, we paid the valet fee and continued with our evening. When we returned from the concert around 11 PM, we attempted to shower and discovered that the water in our room was completely freezing cold. We waited and tried again, but the water never warmed up, making it impossible to shower. When we checked out, we informed Wayne at the front desk about the issue. Wayne was professional and kind, and he offered to move us to another room. However, given the earlier negative experience and the inconvenience we had already experienced, we declined and chose to leave. Wayne did explain how we could escalate our concerns.
Unfortunately, when we went to retrieve our vehicle from valet, we encountered another unpleasant interaction with Matt, who was also rude when we asked if there was any possibility of adjusting the valet charge since we had not stayed overnight as we originally explained.

I WOULD NEVER BOOK AGAIN.

The rooms weren't much to speak of; bare walls except for a single painting. There was no lamp on the nightstand next to the bed; the closest was an oddly-placed floor lamp. The rooms are definitely dated (possibly by design as this is a historic hotel) but the public restroom-style toilet was a bit of an odd choice. There's a strange cutout at the bottom of the bathroom door which we came to assume was to allow air flow, but it felt like someone was going to slide in a prison meal.

When I turned on the bath faucet to let the water warm up on my first night of three (note - warm, not hot, just warm, even when turned all the way up), the tub filled up with later of water populated by a ton of black specks. I think these were shaving artifacts from someone who shaved in the shower previously. I used the hotel's text line to complain about the water temp and the dirty shower drain, and although they said they would send up an engineer, I saw no evidence of that nor was I contacted again about it for the next two nights.

For me the bed was not terribly comfortable as it was moderately firm, but they did include about seven pillows which helped.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the historic restaurant and lobby are beautiful. The TV in the room was a new smart TV with options to allow HDMI connection (often disallowed in many hotels), which was refreshing.

This hotel is extremely convenient to the convention center, which is a mere block away.

When I arrived at the hotel to check in, they told me the room was no longer available. They then asked me to sit in the lobby and they would come talk to me, after waiting 45 minutes someone finally came to talk to me. They again said the room was not available and then offered me a worse room at the same price. So, I left the hotel.

I was told the parking and breakfast were included and neither was true. The parking was an extra $49 per car and the breakfast was an extra $25 per person.
