Great location and good price. Somehow missed the memo on the $100 per night refundable incidentals fee, but I’m told it will be back in my account within 48 hours. Many rooms face an interior atrium which is fine. Our AC didn’t work very well but maintenance was upstairs 10 minutes after I reported it. The shower was by far the best I’ve had in a hotel room as it had two powerful shower heads. I’m not sure I would stay here again, but the price point is good.

The property was immaculate- I did not visit the bar so I don’t have any ratings for that. I did frequent the coffee shop The Kidd and the staff was phenotypes to mention the prices. They were from the early 2000s!!!!👍👍

I would not recommend this property to anyone. When I turned the shower on in the morning the whole handle came off in my hand. It was completely stripped. Maintenance came to put a new handle on and it still would not work. The water continuously ran for over 35 minutes. I asked the front desk for another room to shower in before I left for work and was told nothing was available. I had to check out and go to work with unwashed hair and body. Terrible customer service
The light switches as you walk in the door also did not work and our phones were dead from being out at a concert all evening. I had to hold the door open so the hall light could shine in u til my husband could find a light back by the bed that would work.

The parking garage across the street is not affiliated with the hotel and they dont validate parking. Only thing they offer is vallet. Even if you book a type/style of room dont expect to get what the pictures showed to you when you book. Missing amenities in room

The entire stay was great. Valet staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, the coffee shop and onsite bar were both very clean and welcoming. Morning coffee and nightly cocktails were well-crafted and fairly priced. We really appreciated the kindness of the bar staff, the conversation and attention to detail made for a wonderful end to our evening.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, specifically the bartender, Chris, at Maverick’s.
That said, the tub’s cold water handle was loose and fell off after being turned on and the toilet seat was so loose it almost fell off. Thankfully I had a multitool with me and was able to remediate these issues. Additionally, despite being on the 8th floor, due to the open air construction of the interior rooms of the hotel, people yelling throughout the evening in lobby kept us up most of the night. Also the tub and surround was filthy and I bought cleaner and cleaned myself.

The staff was great, and so was the bar/bartender Chris. The room was not that great. The ac was not working when we got there so it was a stale 75. The bed was really poor. The toilet was not secured to the floor so it wobbled any time you were on it. I would not stay at this hotel again.

This property is definitely historic. Not much is updated but it’s great & clean. I didn’t like that their latest check in is 1pm. Most hotels have flexibility for a 4-6pm check out. I was in one just last weekend. Lastly, the guy that worked the night shift and checked us in was amazing. The valets were amazing, even the cleaning staff were great. However, there was an afternoon lady at the front desk that needs some help with service training. She was rude when we were checking out and basically told us “you have to get your luggage and go right now” literally exactly like that when we were asking about late check out the day after. I’ll never stay here again tbh. But kudos to the rest of the staff that paid attention in customer service classes

This was one of the best hotels in Downtown Cincinnati I have stayed at. The hotel is a bit dated and the room needed some repairs but there were tile floors vs carpet, they kept it clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I questioned the onsite parking reference on the Expedia site. It indicated that you could self park but there were height limitations. As in, IF your vehicle was not a truck! I inquired and was told there was not and never had been onsite parking. It was valet ($42.00) only. Other guests were asking the same question. I asked about a refund for the valet and was told the manager was the only one to approve refunds and they were unreachable untill Monday.
While I and other customers were waiting to check in, a staff member kept repeatedly making us wait because another employee was trying to process a room charge for a customer in the bar that kept declining.

Upgraded to a premium room at no cost and without request, which was appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk manager sent me a text the day after check in to make sure everything was going well and to ask if we needed anything. I love the location in central downtown near virtually everything you'll need. I'm sure we'll be back again in our next visit to Cincinnati.

Customer service from onsite staff was the best this hotel had to offer. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel could use a maintenance overhaul. The rooms were very much showing their age with beat up floors, stained furniture, chipped and worn down paint. The cleanliness was not great, noticeable dust in corners of the room and places the top of the toilet paper holder (which was also falling off the wall). Hotel lobby, bar, and coffee shop are nice. Location is great, however, the abandoned building next door is being worked on so construction work begins at 6am! Nice and noisy! I wouldn't expect it to be super quiet given that it's in the heart of downtown, but the construction definitely makes it unpleasant.

It’s very average. The ceilings and floors are pretty thin, it’s an older building so it was very easy to hear the people above us at all hours. The HVAC vent in our room dripped water right where you had to stand to use the mirror in the powder room. The Toilet was not leveled/properly sealed so everytime you sat down it tilted and made a loud noise. It’s just not what I expected given the luxurious photos posted and upscale feel that’s presented. If this was a holiday inn express or something I wouldn’t complain but this was supposed to be nicer than that. The staff was friendly and it is in walking distance to several restaurants and bars. But be advised that they are demolishing a huge building right beside the hotel so if you’re trying to sleep in late you will be woken up by the noise.

We visited for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The property was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfectly centered in the middle of all the activities we chose to do during our stay. If we return to Cincinatti we will definitely book this hotel again.

Our whirlpool tub would not drain and was dirty. The toilet would not flush and was about to overflow. I called the front desk and waited an hour. No one came. We went to the front desk and spoke to a manager who sent us up a really young \"engineer\" who's solution was to just shut off our water and not come back. 12 hours with a non flushing toilet. Absolutely ridiculous. Stopped at front desk the next morning and was assured I would get a refund and that has not happened.

Upon arrival at 6:00 pm we were informed that the hotels air conditioning was out and we had been moved to a neighboring Hampton Inn. No attempt was made to contact us in advance, nor were any concessions offered.

We declined this offer as we were not going to pay the same rate for a Hampton inn with minimal amenities.

I am still working with hotels.com to try to get my money refunded because it was a non-refundable rate.

The management of this hotel left a desk clerk with no ability to actually “fix” this issue for guests and was unreachable.

The “Curio” designation should not be given to this hotel.

AC in room was not working the 2nd day. Tried to call front desk, no one answered. Bathtub is tough to get in and out of and very slippery, good pressure but very difficult to get a good temperature. Tub filled up with water on just shower as well. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

The hotel is 140 years old and you can most definitely tell despite it being cosmetically updated. Be prepared for the crown moulding to fall apart; the shower to be unsafely hot and noisy; the ice machines to stop working in the AM; and the A/C to go out during peak times. We called to report some issues earlier in the day and maintenance let himself in while we were still in the room without advance warning. The desk staff were so kind, but this hotel is absolutely lacking. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere nice like the Marriott or Renaissance nearby. I will not return in the future.
