We had a truly pleasant stay at the hotel. During our initial booking the hotel was fully booked, so we had to do two separate bookings, but they were able to let us stay in the same room. Our family of four appreciated the upgrade to the spacious family room, which came equipped with mosquito nets and insect repellent lotion. The complimentary breakfast was superb, and the attentive service made us feel as though we were the only guests there.
The photos on the website don’t do the property justice—it’s even better in person. The location is safe, with very close proximity to both the town and the falls. We didn’t encounter any roaming animals, which gave us peace of mind about wandering baboons in the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would happily stay here again if we return to the region.

Cresta Sprayview is a peaceful, well appointed hotel with impeccable hospitality. Situated in leafy gardens and with an expansive pool area it is a joy to return to after a day of exploring and enjoyable to spend a restful afternoon near the pool. It has a delicious onsite restaurant and the bar offers a great drinks list. The room is spacious, beautifully clean and has crisp linens on the bed. It is a safe and welcoming sanctuary for exploring this breathtaking region of Zimbabwe, with attentive and thoughtful staff

Just Right!
The Cresta Sprayview met our expectations for quaint lodging and excellent service. The restaurant staff were exceptional and the grounds were spacious and very well kept. We were graciously greeted by every staff member every time we passed by. The front desk staff were on top of everything, professional and courteous.

It was amazing returning to Sprayview with our four children since our last visit back in 2002, when we did not have children. The area is walking distance to the Vic Falls and offer great accommodation villas with outdoor seating space. Parking space is available as well. Food was amazing and hotel staff were good.

Nice place and easy stay
Great stay. Friendly and engaging staff, especially with our 10 yesr old. Comfortable rooms, though one of the two bedrooms had a much stronger A/C unit. Solid restaunrant and bar, though a little slow. Breakfast was not included with our booking and the price was much higher than I would have expected. Centrally located. Free shuttle to Victoria Falls every hour. The shuttle driver was the star of our stay.

This is our first time visiting the African Continent. And since we decided to fly in a day before our Safari Tour started (so we can get settled in and rested before we started our Safari adventure), we had to book a place to stay for one night. And I’m really quite glad that we chose Cresta Sprayview. The staff (especially the restaurant waiter who interacted with the most) set the tone for our overall experience in Zimbabwe. They were incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating. And went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was good also. If you get the chance, I recommend trying the oxtail stew (a traditional African dish/recipe). And the Sprayview signature cocktail. You won’t be disappointed.

Cresta Sprayview serves it's purpose as a resting place whilst visiting Victoria Falls and day tours to say, Chobe National Park. It has only one restaurant and it's prices are really expensive. I certainly didn't see any spray or views of the waterfall in the distance. Facilities are comfortable, clean enough. Staff polite, helpful and friendly. I guessed this checked all the right boxes. The shuttle service to the Falls is really helpful. It lets you alight at the market across the road from the Falls entrance. Didn't feel safe here and we just made our way straight to the Falls. Hotel is not very far from the falls. Just a note that the shuttle service which we arranged via email to be picked up at the airport didn't show up. In the end, we had to trust another driver who approached us to bring us back to the hotel. Fortunately, this is an honest guy and we engaged him for our return journey from hotel to the airport 3 days later. Just to clarifiy: the airport pickup service that was arranged was a total failure. the shuttel service to the falls is good.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast is $25 USD per person. I went to the lookout cafe with my partner and we ate a big breakfast (with drinks) for $29 USD total. Breakfast at this hotel is severely overpriced. My shower head did not have hot water, the a/c unit was unsatisfactory, and the hotel room phone did not function for outgoing calls. The shared spaces of the property were excellent, but the rooms were lacking.

Cresta Sprayview Hotel is centrally located in Victoria Falls. About 3 tenths of a mile from the city center and easily walkable during the daylight hours. If you need to be out after dark, the hotel can arrange transportation for you.
The hotel features an open concept lobby with comfortable chairs to await your transportation if venturing out beyond the downtown area. Rooms are semi spacious. The bathrooms are quite large with a walk in shower.
The hotel has a large pool with poolside dining available. The temp on the pool was very refreshing given the hot and humid day. They also have shades over the lounge chairs so you have some protection from the sun on 2 sides of the pool.
The food at the hotel is fair but over priced typical of a hotel/resort. They do have some nice non-alcoholic beverages called slojos which I found refreshing.

The twin Room was quite small for 2 people. The shower head was rusty and aircon couldn't go below 24 degrees so it couldn't cool enough. What I really liked was the spacious garden and large pool. They have a complimentary shuttle to town and free bottle of water a day.

The property is basic but nice and is tranquil. The room was clean but the bathroom was outdated. We found a cockroach in our room and I called reception and they fumigated and left spray in case we saw somethimg else. I would suggest you pay for everything in the restaurant right away instead of putting it on the tab because we found inconsistencies with our bill each time. Also, I arranged for a shuttle pickup from the airport and the driver never showed. After going back and forth with reception they finally decided to compensate me for it. The staff is very nice but I think overall they lack organization and communication between all parties.

Poor experience on checkout. We had a small balance of US$70 to pay. When they tried to collect it fist on my UK MasterCard and then my son's UK Visa, both were \"rejected\" by the machine connected to First Capital Bank.They asked us to pay cash, which we didn't want to. So, they tried again after 15 mins. Same result - they said this was probably a network problem within Zimbabwe. They insisted that we had to pay cash and we said we couldn't but would leave a written authority to collect manually when their network was working again. They said this wasn't possible as that needed to be arranged in advance prior to check-in. When our taxi arrived the recptionist mysteriously found another machine - this one connected to Stanbic and the payment was instantly approved. Apparently this is a commonly used trick within Zimbabwe, but we would expect a group like Cresta to be more honest. Also, the breakfast at $18 was very poor in quality and value.

The Cresta needs a bit of an update and refurbishment... Water pressure for shower was questionable need you’ve looked at, otherwise room wasn’t bad at all... Airconditioner was put to hard work with hot days and nights and it handled the pressure of being on full boar for four full days..

The photos of this place make it look amazing, but in reality, they've neglected with the upkeep and so it's only ok--still decent in terms of the facilities, but could use some work (I'd call the rooms 2-stars and the common areas 3-stars). As for the service, they need to do much better. I had booked a transfer to the airport with the hotel shuttle, but at pickup time, the shuttle was no where to be seen. The staff was extremely unhelpful and made no attempts to call up the driver. I ended up waiting 50 minutes before the driver came back from his regular rounds. Only at this point did the staff then notify me that I needed to pay for the shuttle--a gougingly high price of 30USD for a 15 minute ride.

We spent 3 nights at the Cresta Sprayview. From the warmth of the greeting from the driver who picked us up at the airport to the genuine friendliness we experienced from all staff during our stay we felt as if we were more than guests but rather part of an extended family! The facility is comfortable, the pool is lovely and the meals are delicious. A must do while there is the Batoka sunset cruise. It’s great value. A caution though that due to the economic situation it is imperative to bring cash with you into the country. One cannot access cash from any ATMs in town. We will be back!!

Check in and check out went smoothly, the food was great and convenient. Taxis and Tours were easy tp book for activities. I had one problem, I could only get my shower water to get hot for 1 out of the 3 nights that I stayed here. The staff explained it in the orientation when they took me to my room but it didn't work. I was given a room with a bigger bed because of it but I still didn't have hot water. The staff at the desk finally explained the correct way to make the water hot. I just wish they had proper instructions upon arrival.

Hotel rooms are chalets (bungalows) spread out in a pleasant lawned environment. My room (a standard double room) was quite clean, well presented, and very spacious. They even did a second cleaning in the evening. Only thing missing in room was a fridge. Air conditioner in room worked well throughout my 5 nights stay. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. Hotel staff, from Reception to cleaners, all very pleasant and constantly willing to help. Hotel location is about 20 minutes walk to the Falls, and 10 minutes to the town.

We stayed at Cresta Sprayview for a few nights in mid-September. The room was comfortable and included a turn-down service and mosquito nets around the bed. There is a restaurant serving good food and either a continental or cooked breakfast (extra), plus a sitting area, bars and a nice pool with loungers. The main building is not airconditioned, but rooms are. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is also the convenience of a tour booking office and souvenir shop on site, and a free shuttle bus running at scheduled times to/from the town centre (a 5-10 minute walk if you prefer).

Stayed 6 nights here. combination of Victoria Falls tourism and rest! it was all good - not sure what else to add but a very comfortable mid-range hotel, obliging staff, surprisingly good food and menu, great breakfast buffet each morning and the very quick and efficient person who organised all our activities was great - and these all went very well - no disappointments. it's not the flashiest hotel around but very comfortable and doing a good job of welcoming and looking after it's customers.

A nice neat and tidy hotel centrally located. Have a shuttle service to the falls. My online booking did not allow to book 2 different types of room but on check in theyour willingly changed a double room to a twin. We did not eat at the hotel as we had made alternative dinner arrangements both nights. The rate quoted for breakfast on our booking was ridiculously high - more expensive than the accomodation so we had breakfast in town. On arrival in our room the safe was not working, nor the fridge and there was no remote for the air conditioning. However one call to housekeeping and this was promptly resolved.

The staff were VERY helpful. They assisted me in booking all of the activities I wanted to do (falls tour, white water rafting, helicopter ride, Chobe day trip, zip-line). As I was travelling alone, I depended on their advice and help...and they were great. Hotel is nicely situated...short taxi ride (or 10-25 minute walk) to just about everything.
The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. I especially appreciated the blow dryer, as well as the USB outlet for charging devices, as I did not have a plug adapter.

In the room I stayed in there was no directory of what was on offer at the hotel e.g. I found out on the net that there was a shuttle running to the main tourist area and the safe was not working.
