If you don't like cigarette smoke this is not the place for you. People are smoking all around the pools and public spaces. Rooms were clean but nothing special. Food okay. Access to the beach is very nice! Probably wouldn't recommend this place based on the public smoking. They should have a designated smoking space near the street so other guests don't suffer.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and you'll notice as soon you enter the lobby. There were multiple pools and amenities to relax around. The breakfast buffet had an abundance of options and I like how the options rotate daily.

We took a day in Phuket just to enjoy the hotels and shops nearby. The gym and the free workout classes were both great pluses.

Lovely spacious room kept super clean by the staff.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming.
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel and it was as good as the 1st. We love the Bang Tao area of Phuket!

I have stayed at Arinara a number of times now and the premises is situated very conveniently to Catch beach club, the sea and other restaurants on the beach. The staff are welcoming on arrival. The rooms are large. I ordered a pool access room, which was very clean and in good condition. One thing though, the tiles on the outside patio leading to the pool access are extremely slippery when wet. The food at breakfast is excellent and provides everything a person would want. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Most can speak if not understand English to a certain extent. I guess I must be impressed as I have again booked a holiday there for next year.

Amazing stay at Arinara. The hotel is great, the layout is perfect in the horse shoe shape with the pools in the middle. A beach bar next to the first pool and bar/restaurant further down leading to the beach. The private pools for your room are great I would recommend getting an outside room as your pool will be completely private great for late night dips.
The food at the restaurant is honestly 10/10. You can walk straight out onto the beach from the hotel then walk down left or right to various bars and restaurants. I recommend Nomad for the fire show and also the food is amazing. In terms of convenience you have everything you need on the street at the front of the hotel including more restaurants, massage parlours, desks for buying trips, convenience stores, bars. It offers a quiet village feel with cars and bikes rolling past slowly. Honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough and we’re quite fussy and we’re sure what to expect. For trips further afield the taxis are extremely cheap you almost feel bad for the drivers. Just download “Grab” to easily book taxis to your location it gives you the price upfront. You can get anywhere in Phuket for £5-10.

It was a fantastic resort with many facilities. Good for families, the pool access is amazing. The staff are all friendly and cheerful. We were so surprised to find a small chocolate cake. The hotel celebrated my son's birthday and this is what they will do for the guests. I will definitely return again. You have both the beach and the pools at your convenience. Dining options nearby is great and we love Blu Wave restaurant. My whole family love staying at Arinara.

The resort is beautiful and well kept with good amenities (gym, Starbucks, direct access to beach, etc). We found that the beds and pillow were hard but some guest may prefer this. The pool was enjoyable with lots of poolside loungers to choose from. The breakfast had many options with Thai options and traditional breakfast items (french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

They called the cops and forced me to pay charges based upon a policy they could not provide the details of despite a clear policy to the contrary. since i signed the check in form that i would somehow know all of their policies, I was forced to give my credit card or be arrested.

I booked an airport pickup through the resort which is far more expensive than halling a cab from the street - not really complaining about this, but they didn’t even book the taxi for me! I show up at the airport with my family and no one is there to meet us!! No refund. No apologies…

The resort also has a scam where you put a card on your door indicating that you don’t need your room serviced that day and they say you will credit you 200 baht per day as a thank you. I expected this to be added onto my bill as I took advantage of this on four of the seven nights that we were there. I was told at the end of the stay that the 200 baht credit note can only be given when requested on the day it happens from the front desk - this was definitely not communicated to us at the time of check-in!!!

Most staff at the hotel are also not friendly and do not say hello when you pass them, which is really unusual in Thailand…

We stayed in building 1 in a pool access room. The room was very old and not well maintained. The TV is literally from the 90’s and the mosquito problem should really be managed. The air conditioning was super old too. The resort forbids you from bringing outside food which is hard when you are traveling with a toddler who likes to snack all day. We did love the playground and kids clubs at the resort, but again, the indoor play structure need to be updated. Although the staff were all very lovely and helpful, I would not recommend staying here.

The room was very spacious and great to have pool access from our balcony (we got the Sun late afternoon in block 4)
Only issue we had was clothes storage - only 6 hangers for both of us and no drawers. We noticed a lot of rooms that did the same as us and kept clothes in the suitcases on the floor.
Apart from that the room was lovely, great shower and lovely beds.
The breakfast was great too with plenty of choices to suit all tastes.
Access to the beach was good too.
We’ve been to Bang Tao area before and love Boat Avenue for shopping and eating out, we went for the Friday market and called a Grab taxi for about £5
Lots of restaurants near by too - our favourite was Crave

All in all a great holiday - we shall definitely return to Phuket again

Our second stay at this lovely place. Loads of sunbeds so no problem getting one any time of day. Super nice staff in all roles. Great room, fab pool lovely breakfast and great spot on the beach next to our favourite places to eat- the Cubar does the best Thom khai with tofu ever had!
Just one thing I didn’t like and it’s nothing to do with the hotel tbh but the poor looking horse on the beach, so thin and ridden so badly even by the owners and then idiots that are way too heavy riding them up and down a busy beach. It would be good if this could be banned, from an animal lover and horse owners point of view.
But back to the hotel - we will be back!

We booked a room for four people but were charged an additional fee for the fourth guest. Upon checking in, we found the second bed to be much less comfortable than the main one. Additionally, my friend developed a skin rash from the bedsheet. When we asked the hotel to address the issue and change our room, they refused. In the end, they only replaced the second bed and the bedsheets. The staff was neither helpful nor accommodating. While the pool and beach areas were decent, the resort’s location is quite far from Phuket’s main attractions, making it inconvenient for travelers exploring the area without a car.

I visited with my family, mother in law and a 2 year old. They had everything we needed! Pool right outside our balcony, I was worried about having a pool so close to our room because of my 2 year old but they had so many locks on the doors and the lock to get into the pool was not reachable for my toddler. So that made me so happy!! Very kid friendly establishment, also fun for adults, the beach club was fun and everything was walking distance. Massage on the beach, tons of food options on the beach as well. Loved loved this place!!! I was so sad to leave!!!

Great location on the beach, great pools, very good breakfast, nice staff and comfy beds. Close to lots of local restaurants and a small night market, nice safe and relatively quiet area. They need to think hard about their deposit policy and allow credit cards as an option. Taking it as cash in limited currencies is not going to make anyone spend more at the hotel, it’s just annoying.

It was a lovely couple weekend. The resort is a bit old but very clean and the service was very prompt and friendly.
The only downside was their inability to extend our checkout by even one hour without any payment, in spite of the resort not being full (due off-peak season)....as our flight was 8 hours after checkout....which would have been a bonus point in their PR area.
Other than that, the resort was lovely in terms of location and service.

The entire main pool was closed for planned maintenance for the duration of our stay. I understand this is necessary but think it is important that the hotel chooses to communicate this as part of the booking, and compensate guests during these maintenance periods. This was poorly managed by the hotel and as a result I would not recommend choosing this hotel.

Dont ask them for something twice or ask them to change something or dont tell them how you would like for something to be done.
Do that and you will get frustrated with their attitude.

Don't like what you do then do something else.
You are working in the hospitality segment then you have to know how to talk to people and how to deliver your serice in a pleasant manner.

Overall was a good stay but going back to Phuket, we will find another property.

The resort had a nice layout and pool and great buffet breakfast however no insulation in walls meant noise came through from neighbours and as a light sleeper this was no good for me. The resort has a number of descending levels so not great if you have mobility issues. When it rains hard the different levels fill up with water and walkways flood.

First of all for $80 night there’s nothing I should really complain about but … (1) internet was poor while next door at various beach-front bars it was fast and reliable, (2) buffet breakfast was plentiful but not much quality stuff, (3) not a whole lot nearby to see and do. The good stuff - pools were huge and shallow for the kids, rooms were very clean, beds were firm. So all up - value for money no doubt.

Good things - good access to beach, big water bodies inside the property, decent breakfast platter.
Not so good things - beachfront is outsourced and therefore no beach facing restaurants and beach beds are paid basis (expensive), cleanliness of rooms is not great, service is abysmal (we were charged for breakfast on early arrival but we're not even offered breakfast if early departure), look and feel of the place is average at best - no effort in decor, etc.
At this price, there are many better options available in Phuket. Avoid if you can.

I booked double room with pool view but when I reach they says it’s not pool room and I pay more to change the room. Food was horrible cannot find anything to eat and not clean. Place if far away from any attractive. I don’t recommend at all.
They are all need to fool you.

Perfect place for a break.

Great stay at spacious 4 star beach resort. We had two Grand Deluxe rooms with garden view for us and our 3 teenagers including buffet breakfast daily. We found the food to be great and the kids especially loved the fruit shakes at the pool. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. We had no issues at this property; it was clean, well-cared for and had a beautiful Thai style without paying for 5 star 'frills' we wouldn't use. Easy access to the beach, water sports and taxis, tuk-tuks, other restaurants and shops without being super-busy like Patong.

We stayed at this resort for 10 nights and we had two rooms for 6 people. The rooms are big and spacious. The resort was really clean and pools were fantastic. The breakfast was also really nice with a good range of food. Most of the staff were really friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was at the time of check out. They kept us at the reception for 10 minutes asking about a teaspoon. We were told that there were two teaspoons in each room but we only had one and so they kept us there for 10 minutes to “investigate”. I was shocked when they told me we have to pay for two teaspoon which were not even in the room. I didn’t care about the money because compere to the 77000 BHT which I paid for 10 nights stay paying for a teaspoon is funny but I didn’t like it anyways.

A week at Arinara

We stayed at Arinara in a Pool access room for 7 nights.
The room itself was spacious with plenty of room for us to relax, included a cot for our 2.5yo daughter. The bathroom was fine, shower could use a regrout of the tiles. Bed size was great, albeit a little hard for what we are used to, but we still slept fine. WiFi was spot on.
Facilities are fantastic for families, pools are great and beach is beautiful. The whole area of Bang Tao is perfect for families and Arinara is a great budget friendly but still luxurious option.
The beach is host to beautiful sunsets and huge choice of places to eat and enjoy the surroundings.
The only thing was it was sometimes difficult to communicate with swim up bar staff, simply a language barrier.

All in all we would definitely book again!

The resort is true beach side and was plenty of fun for our little family getaway. If you have a little child and staying in the pool access rooms, remember to ask for small tub as only shower is available. It’s a cozy beachside resort so expect sand to be inevitable and bring mosquito repellent. Overall an enjoyable trip.

Cheap Hotel- geckos - worst cheddar- lying staff

1. Rooms are clean however furniture is old and cheap.
2. Breakfast has some good varieties ( not halal friendly) however the quality of the food is so cheap. ( cheap processed cheddar, powdered juice, tasteless coffee ...)
3- Gym is okay however its closed at 8pm so if you are planning to swim till sunset and then go for the gym before you go for dinner so you have to sacrifice one of them.
4- the restaurant has some options for dinner yet not tasty and overpriced compared to walking outside for 5 to 10 minutes and having much more options and better quality with cheaper prices.
5- it's on the beach but very tiny one and they dont have any amenities on the beach and you have to minim order from the restaurant to use any of the chairs ,..etc.
6- pool is huge yet the depth is maxed at 1.2m so dont expect a real dip if you are longer than 150 cm
7- the corridors are not well maintained, looks dirty and ugly with pretty good number of well fed geckos
8, there is no iron and ironing board . You have to borrow them from housekeeping.
9. They charged me at check out for using the laundry bag. The pretty part is it means they are reusing the laundry bags from diff guests..
10. The reservation was having 15% discount on f&b however when I tried to order they said its doesn't apply to room service and had to complain.
11. The policies says upto 2 children stay for free if using existing facilities yet they wanted to charge me also double price till I complained

While a little dated, the hotel attended to all our needs. Nice pool with swim up bar and a few other options for food and drink on the property. There’s some shopping and restaurants nearby as well.

The only issue we had was the renovations going on, but at least they are updating the property.

Definitely recommend for a nice getaway while not breaking the bank.

Arinara was exactly what we expected from the pictures, the property is a mix of older and newer renovated rooms, which we loved. My mother stayed on the 3rd floor (newer) and we were on the ground floor with our own private pool.
Simply fantastic. Buffet breakfast was awesome!

Holiday at a quiet beach lcation

Lovely experience from the time we arrived till the time we checked out. We also got upgraded from a Premium Studio to a Grand Deluxe which was great.
What we were most surprised was to find that eating in the Hotel's Fine dining Thai Restaurant was cheaper than the restaurants along the beach which was rare in Phuket . And the happy hour available certainly helped.
The only downside is the water pressure in the shower was not strong. Just sufficient to get a decent shower.
We certainly would come back to this hotel should we visit Phuket again.
Well done to the whole team that strive to make the guests welcomed and comfortable.

The property is old but well maintained I had a free upgrade in a huge room. Pool 8s clean and restaurant open although the sublime huge buffet breakfast the a la carte menu for dinner is not that good. There were maintenance work going but still very nice. Sure need a new shower head in the bathroom would make huge difference. English 8s poor and the shops area around is limited with no many taxi but still that is all you need and more. Definitely good.
