I was very disappointed with this hotel. It has the potential to be a super boutique stay but its tired and needs maintenance. It has a fantastic location, the staff are amazing, helpful and kind. My trip was a family reunion after 3 years and we had been very excited only to arrive and be gutted at the state of the villa. The staff tried hard to rectify my complaints but you can't fix broken lamps, chipped furniture, stained tables and leaf filled pools, stained sunbeds etc. Expedia this is really not good enough you are marketing this as a 4 star hotel. No one is checking these standards.

This property was clean for the most part. I would go back if I needed to. There was a weird smell in one of the bathrooms and the beds are really hard. Not comfortable at all. However the service was great. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The little food they did have on the menu was really good. Would have preferred more options but all in all a good property for families. The area is okay. On the slower side and lots of food nearby, walking distance. That was great

Very charming hotel 5mins walk to Surin Beach

The hotel is very pleasant. Everyone was very welcoming and we loved the pool area the most. Its 5 min walk to Surin Beach; very nice sandy beach. Prices are a little over the roof but thats the only negative thing I would say. Overall I would come back definitely!

Our first family trip away and it exceeded our expectations. The beach was literally across the street and beautiful. The hotel itself was so nice and peaceful - don’t expect a big resort with kids facilities. We loved that it was cosy and intimate and quiet.
The restaurant had delicious food but breakfast could’ve had a bit more variety.

Awesome boutique hotel in Surin Beach, Phuket

A small slice of safety/paradise in a designer boutique hotel close to beautiful Surin Beach. At check in the staff invite you to relax on comfortable chairs in a garden setting sipping cool fresh juice while they take care of everything at the front desk for you (bringing the usual paperwork to you as necessary). The hotel is built around a beautifully landscaped courtyard with large clean swimming pool and an excellent and versatile bar/cafe. There are numerous poolside lounges and a few cabanas for lounging all day sipping cocktails if that suits you. The usual tours to other parts of Phuket can be arranged at the hotel. Surin Beach is a very long white powder sand beach a leisurely five minute walk away across one street and down a path through a grassy area. The hotel provides complimentary beach towels, mats and umbrellas. The beach is fringed with a groves of trees providing day-round shade if desired. Local vendors are present but not intrusive, providing mini-cafes, massages, scooter rentals, etc. Vendors pack everything up at sunset. Perfect hotel and beach for young families and retired couples looking to relax and enjoy nature. Definitely not for the singles party crowd. Overall a most relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Relaxed, small resort in a great location

My husband and I stayed at the Chava with two 15 year old girls. We stayed in the two bedroom penthouse which was very spacious and comfortable. My husband and I absolutely loved the Chava and Surin beach because it is small, relaxed and beautiful. It was probably a little quiet for the girls as we travelled in October which is low season but perfect for us 😊 We were pleasantly surprised with the cost of food and drink at the resort.. It was not excessive at all. Definitely the best coffee, just like home. We found the hamburgers were not as good as the reviews, lacking salt/flavour, but that is being picky and quite easy to fix with a sprinkle of salt.
Great staff, attentive without being obtrusive .... Highly recommend both the resort and the location.

stayed 3 nights with 2 children (ages 8 and 5)
great location, next to the beach, next to lots of handy shops. apartment size if great, with ability to cook and do washing yourself if you want to.

Lovely stay!

Great hotel, amazing service, great food/drink. Great recommendations.....booked all our tables, and gave us a late check-out, could not have asked for anything more! Oh, and it was my birthday and there was a cake in the fridge on arrival, lovely!

Great place, we'll be back

Had four fantastic nights at The Chava and had a lovely time. We got one of the two bedroom suites with a plunge pool and loved it. Plenty of room for our family with great facilities. Great location - just a short walk through a well lit park to the beach and the main restaurant strip on the beach road. Surin Beach is a very chilled out location and The Chava is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the great weather and hospitality. We'll be back!

Great location and excellent service

Spent 4 nights there and did not want to leave. Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A tranquil haven to return to after a day of action on Surin Beach. Hope to return next year.

Not Children Friendly

Unfortunately we were mislead about this place. How it can be called a resort is beyond us. It has minimal facilities and is very difficult to navigate with an infant in a stroller. Upon arrival we were told that \"there was an arrangement with the hotel next door for access to the kids club so 'noisy kids' would not be heard at the Chava\" Hardly family friendly or welcoming. The hotel is located away from the beach which is not accessible for a stroller. SInce we only arrived late afternoon we had to stay for one night out of a planned 4 and spent half of the next day seeking alternative accommodation. Not a relaxing way to start a break in beautiful Phuket.

This was an absolutely gorgeous resort with very spacious apartments and wonderful staff. The hotel is conviniently located by the shops and restaurants and a very short walk to the beach. I absolutely loved my stay there.

Great spot for a quiet, family holiday

The Chava Resort is located near Surin Beach, smaller and much quieter than some of the more popular beach areas in Phuket. The beach and surrounding area offer a good selection of restaurants, masseuses, loungers, and activities like jetskis, parasailing, waterskiing, etc., but also a good spot to chill and enjoy the tranquility and pristine beach. Great if you've got small kids. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, across a small park. Some of the suites were still under construction, but the disruption was minimal. We were there at the end of low season (late October), so occupancy was very low. Service was great. Our unit was a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment, with full kitchen, liviing and dining rooms, laundry, and our own plunge pool. Again, great for a family. Overall the hotel facilities were nice but not extensive. Only complaint: no on-site gym, although you can use the facilities at a neighbouring hotel for a daily fee. Better yet, just go for a swim and a walk on the beach.

Store rom og hyggelig personale

Hyggelige ansatte og store rom. Flere matbutikker i nærheten. Gåavstand til stranden. Fint med vaskemaskin på rommet. Harde senger.
Veldig fint bassengområde.
De pusser opp, så det kommer nok til å bli veldig fint. Noen steder er det litt slitt.
Vi hadde et fint opphold.

The Chava är ett supermysigt hotell med lyxig känsla. Vi bodde i en lägenhet med 2 sovrum, pool och uteplats. Poolområdet är vackert och personalen är fantastisk. Mycket god och vällagad mat. Surin beach ligger tvärs över gatan. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

年末に6泊しました。部屋数が少ないためか、プールもすいていました。日本人も少ないエリアで、ビーチ、レストランどこに行っても日本人はいませんでした。
部屋は広くてビーチに持っていくレジャーシートやパラソルもあって快適。洗濯機も物干しもあるので毎日洗濯ができて助かりました。
朝食はプールサイドの開放的なテーブル席で好きなものを注文するスタイル。
ランチ、ディナーも出来ます。リーズナブルでおいしい。
特にハンバーガーがおいしかったです。
スタッフも皆笑顔で気持ちが良かったです。
周囲にはコンビニやレストランも徒歩圏内であり、便利な場所。
滞在中二回オールドタウンに行きました。
タクシーで40分くらい。
往復5000円弱。
ホテル周辺とは全く違った雰囲気でおススメ。

一点だけ気になったのは部屋のソファにダニがいたらしく、ゴロゴロしていた息子は帰国時 20箇所以上かまれて
痒がっていました。
私と娘も数カ所。
ソファに座るときにはプール用のバスタオルを敷いたりするといいかもしれません。

ファミリーに最高のホテル／ Travels as if stay at your home

1歳7ケ月の娘を連れて滞在させていただきました。普段はイヤイヤ期で親を手こずらせる娘も、100平米の広いお部屋を縦横無尽に走り回り、3日間始終ご機嫌さんでした。スタッフの皆さんが子供に優しく接してくださり、とても居心地が良かったです。他のゲストもご家族連れが多く、乳児連れや小学生ぐらいのご兄弟もみんな楽しそうにプールで寛いでおられましたよ。
IHコンロ、レンジ、フルサイズの冷蔵庫、鍋や包丁など必要なキッチングッズもお部屋に揃っているので、娘のために日本から食材を持ち込み、普段と変わらない食事を取らせてあげられる点も幼児連れには助かりました。
英語版ですが、レセプションでDVDも貸してくださいます。我が家は子供向けのDVDを音楽がわりに付けっ放しにしていました。
足りないものは車で7、8分のスーパーで買い足せますが、持って行ったら良かったなと思う物は、アリの巣コロリ！豊かな自然の恵みを思えば当然ですがお部屋に蟻さんが入ってきます。気になる方は持参をオススメします(笑)
蚊も多いので、子供用の虫除けは大活躍しました。お風呂用の手桶も持って行くと、小さなお子さんと入浴する時に便利です。
ホテルスタッフの質が高く、ホスピタリティに溢れた最高のホテルです。また来ようねと言うと娘も笑顔でうん♪と言っていました(^-^)

We'd stayed for 3nights with baby girl. She enjoyed comfortable over 100 square meters guest room. Other guest came with their children who are infant or toddler or more elder, they enjoyed swim at pool. Hotel room facilities which of kitchen, microwave helps cook for your kids. You can rent selected DVDs at reception.
We were able to really enjoy phuket as if stay at home. Appreciate every chava resort crew members' warmest hospitality and professional service.

4泊滞在致しました。プール付きの部屋は広く快適でした。スタッフも親切で良いホテルかと思います。
アメニティに関しては最低限という内容です。もう少し内容を改善した方が良いと思いました。
立地に関しては、ビーチも近くゆっくり過ごすには便利な立地です。

시설은 넓고, 청결도는 준수합니다. 그러나, 룸 바로 앞에 있는 plunge pool은 관리가 잘 안되어있어 이용하지 못했습니다. 레스토랑 서빙 직원들의 서비스 및 마인드는 기대에 훨씬 못 미쳤습니다. 리셉션 직원들이 서비스 마인드가 훌륭했습니다. 이용할 수 있는 자체 facility는 pool 외에는 거의 없으니 참고하세요.

Тихий и спокойный отель с полноценной кухней

На фотографиях номер выглядит намного свежее, чем на самом деле. Возникали проблемы с сантехникой и не раз, исправляли быстро, но всю ночь подтекающий унитаз сильно напрягал. Посудомоечная машина была изначально сломана, починить так и не смогли. Завтраки очень скромные, а обслуживание на завтраках просто ужасное и наверно это оставило самые неприятные воспоминания.. Также считаю минусом отсутствие телефонов в спальнях.
Из плюсов это месторасположение отеля, живописный бассейн и хорошее оснащение кухни посудой. Также наличие стиральной машины с сушкой и качественная уборка номера.
По моему мнению не соответствует цене.

いつも笑顔で最高の接客

写真で見た通り広くてキレイなホテルでした。
タイトルにもある通りフロントの方や清掃の従業員の方など、いつも笑顔で接客をしてくれた為、非常に気持ちが良かったです。
空港の送り迎えをしていただいたホテルの運転手さんは日本語が上手で地元の人気のレストランを紹介して頂きました。
家族連れが多く、ゆっくり過ごしたい方にオススメです。今回は3泊とショートステイでしたがとっても良い時間を過ごさせて頂きました。
次の機会があればもう少し長く宿泊したいです。

広大な部屋の隠れ家ホテル

一番狭い部屋でも驚くほどの大きさで、２ベッドルーム、大きなリビング、キッチン付きであった。食洗機や洗濯機も付属している。ルームサービスやプールサイドの食事もおいしかった。室内は清潔であったが、建物などの清掃はあまり行き届いていない印象。
プールはやや深いため、子供は遊びにくい。
周囲のコンビニで食品を購入して部屋で食べる事もできる。
近くのビーチが工事中であったのが残念。

最高のリゾート

プーケットは初めてでしたが、すばらしいホテルにあたり、ラッキーでした。部屋は非常に広く、我々の滞在したは最も下のクラスの部屋でしたが、ベッドルーム、シャワー、トイレがそれぞれ二つずつありました。好きなものをオーダーするタイプの朝食も質が高く、数日間の滞在なら、飽きることはありません。
滞在客はほとんど欧米の人で、日本人を含めたアジア人の姿は見かけませんでした。したがって、従業員との英語でのコミュニケーションは必須ですが、リゾート気分を味わうには良いと思います。
観光を考えた時の立地はやや悪いですが、タクシーに乗ればどこでも行けます。それよりも都会の喧騒を離れて静かに過ごせる事の方が我々にはメリットに感じました。
