Initial impression was terrible, when we come around 10 pm. However at the morning things changed. Breakfast is good and coffee is European (means much better than Starbucks or so). However it is not worth to stay anywhere in Frankfurt just for overnight layover, because taxis quite expensive and go 8 miles cost about 47 Euros one way. Few taxis accept credit card so prepare have a lot of cash. Therefore better stay at the airport in 12 hour hotel. The result will be about the same but much less hassle

The picture posted on Expedia of the outside of the building was not the same as the building itself. The pictures of the bathroom on the website are only from the bigger rooms so when we checked in there was only a small square shower. The staff was amazing went out of their way to make my stay there much better.

You will need help to buy train ticket if you are the first time in the airport and don’t know the language. A credit card is all you need if you are willing to walk one mile to the hotel or get an Uber for that short distance.

All in all, a good chouce

Just one night on a business trip. Small room, not many services but very reasonable rate so, in the end, a fair choice. The personnel is very kind. Lack of parking and some difficulties for google maps to locate the place, but it is google to be blamed, not the hotel

Cracked tiles in shower, mold in shower. Shower head was broken. I'm not one to be picky....however, not what was pictured on website.

Tired decor and poor cleanliness standards

Friendly and helpful staff making the best of what they had to work with. Bar area was closed off due to renovation works - not a big issue but worth noting. Beer Garden outside more of a small patio next to a main road. Not too exciting. Worst parts - toenail clippings found in bathroom, somebody's hair (few strands) in the bed, curtains fell off the hook when drawn back.

Not great overall - decor tired and rooms seemingly not cleaned sufficiently.

The internet did not work in the room. Kept cutting out. The bathroom door was warped, so did not close without force. The wardrobe was too large for the room space, effectively blocking access to one side of the king bed. Move the bed over or a smaller wardrobe would be in order. The TV did not work. We only stayed one night, so put up with the issues.

We stay annually at your Ruesselheim hotel. This time we had to ask for toilet paper and the soap container in the shower was empty which I regard as basis necessities and inattentiveness of housekeeping. Reading bedside lamp was also broken.

In an industrial area but great on budget and close to Frankfurt using public transportation. We took taxi to station but there is a bus that stops right outside the hotel to get you to the station. No restaurant at hotel but there is a small bar and an outside patio to enjoy a drink.

parking place was a disappointment, as I was asked to park on the street, also room was very small, restaurant closes at night, and the hotel is not situated at location where you walk out and get some food or refreshment, generally it is an average hotel in a village.

Nice Business Hotel at a fair price..

Just stayed overnight to visit a friend and the Opel museum on the way to southern Germany from Frankfurt airport. In an semi-industrial part of town. I think its fair to say that goes without saying as this is right near the Opel complex and it covers most the area so that's just the way it is. Had plenty of parking for the Rental car ( at no charge ) Bed was comfortable, staff spoke english well, and WiFi worked. Of all the hotels we stayed at the ACHAT was BETTER than either the 4-5 star Portsmouth UK Marriot or the Melia White in London. Those were supposed to be high end hotels and weren't, this was touted as being a good business hotel and was. They have a small bar to get a beer with a friend and the breakfast was good. Overall reminded me of a German version of Hampton Inn ( and for me thats a good thing.. )

Convenient to Frankfurt Airport

This is my third visit to the hotel and I always stay in a single room, which is comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a bus stop outside. The bus goes directly to the Ruesselsheim Bahnhof. All trains to Frankfurt pass the airport, which is very convenient. The train ticket (Tageskarte) can be purchased in the bus or at vending machines and can be used on trams, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and buses.

The hotel is okay, nothing amazing but it is pretty good value. Taxis in Frankfurt are quite pricey so I found moving around from here by taxi quite expensive. One way to combat this is take the taxi to ruesselheim station which is about €10 and take the train from there.

Awesome stay - great staff

I was in Frankfurt for a convention. Due to the size and demand of the convention in addition other events, we were relegated to the 'burbs for accommodations. Typically I wouldn't stay outside of city center but in this case, and being Germany, the trains are efficient and convenient so getting into town was no problem. The hotel is located just outside the main city center of Rüsselsheim in an area that would appear to be semi-industrial, however there is an excellent bakery, Italian and Spanish restaurants within a few minutes walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is immaculate. I will be coming back here in 2 years for the next convention.

The Ronseal of hotels

It does exactly what it says on the tin. The young lady who checked us in was very helpful and assisted us tremendously. She acted above and beyond the call of duty and should be commended. I think the available wifi should be free and included in the rate. Breakfast was fine and the level of cleanliness was excellent. The outside of the hotel isn't very appealing and in contradiction to the inside. Well done.

Clean, decent lodging.

This is a very clean hotel, given the price it is a very good deal. When I booked, I had my doubts, but it turned out to be just fine. I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again. My wife was pleased at the value received and she is very demanding. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. The airport is not next door, but if you have a car, it is very easy to drive there.

The hotel is very adequate if you need a room for the night before flying out of Frankfurt Airport. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but adequate. Very clean. Only 14-20 minutes from the Airport.

Worth staying

Breakfast had good variations. Hotel employees were very cooperative. However there are no celing fans in the rooms and it was hot in the day time during my stay from 14th August to 22nd August. Otherwise the Hotel with a low budget stay is of very god quality. I especially loved the open garden just in front of the gate where any one can sit and spend hours with a cup of coffee.

Great for exploring the Rhein-Main Region

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a hearty continental breakfast. My single room had a very comfortable large bed and all the doors along the corridor shut quietly. There was very good noise insulation. The Hotel is located in a quiet area with a mixture of office buildings and attractive private houses. The Bus stop into the city runs every 30 min and is just round the corner. It stops at the S-Bahnhof for trains to Frankfurt, Mainz and Wiesbaden every 20 min. There are great cycleways for all the family and the Hotel is very obliging in accommodating bicycles. The guests were a mixture of tourists and businessmen. There is a bakery across the road with great German cakes and the supermarket is only a 10 min walk away. The motorway is nearby too and its easy to drive to the famous Ruedesheim on the Rhein. I had a great 8 days at the Achat.

ROOMS ARE NOWHERE NEAR LIKE THE PICTURES!

Breakfest was cold, room fittings are from the 1970's they still have the big old tv's!
You have to sleep with the lights on if you want to charge your phone or ipad, if you turn the lights off - it cuts power to the sockets (we had two rooms booked and both were like this) reception lady was rude, when we asked for our breakest cards. Wireless was poor. Would not recommend. Never again! Will post video of our room on youtube

ACHAT Comfort, Rüsselsheim.

For a budget hotel this was a good hotel & was adequate for our needs. Service was good & the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of foods. Not a hotel for those who want their hotel experience to be a significant part of their hilday: it's a functional hotel. You need your own transport. My wife & I would consider using it again.

Good for short stay Bad for Long Stay

Overall it was ok. I would have preferred to stay at a place with more amenities. The place had no gym/fitness room. The breakfast is hidden in the basement, which they failed to mentioned to me at check-in. The reception and bar are in one room together.

Specs: This is a Comfort ACHAT, I recommend staying at Premium ACHAT.

The Achat Hotel in Russelsheim, Germany

When my husband and I made reservations I was under the assumption that we would be getting a room as stated online, a full or queen sized bed. When we arrived, our room was set up with 2 twin beds, extremely small, the trash had not been emptied and there were beer bottles and cigarette boxes in the trash, the window curtain was off its rod, and it reeked of cigarette smoke...just a HUGE disappointment. Staying at Russelsheim was the final 2 days of our wonderful Germany vacation, but ending our trip there was extremely disappointing.

Such a terrible place, they promise a large bed but instead they give you 2 individual bed together. The room was to hot for the radiator, even when I turned off the heat wasn’t leave the room. The bathroom was too small. They don’t give you bed sheets. Terrible terrible place. The photos don’t match with the reality of the room.

またベッド横のコンセントが一つ壊れていてとても不便でした

Ran out of soap in the shower. Picked up a container and was never told how to install it. The phone in room 210 doesn't work. Housekeeping was at the door at 9 am. Checkout is at 10. Why can't they wait? When I left my room, the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.

Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück war gut und vielfältig, der Kaffee glücklicherweise Filterkaffee was mir persönlich immer lieber ist.

Das Zimmer war nicht übermäßig groß aber für einen Alleinreisenden völlig ausreichend. Es war immer sauber, auch das kleine Badezimmer war tadellos keine braunen Stellen oder so in dem Silicon der Dusche wie es ja häufig ist. Alles sehr gepflegt. Die Größe der Dusche fand ich persönlich mit 80 x 80 etwas sehr klein aber es ging auch.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein, was eigentlich kein Problem wäre, aber es stehen so viele Möbel drin, das man sich kaum um die eigene Achse drehen kann.
Wir hatten vier Zimmer und in allen waren die Matratzen durchgelegen, das muß nicht sein.
Ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wenn die Ansprüche nicht zu hoch sind kann man durchaus für zwei drei Nächte dort unterkommen.
