We had some cleanliness and maintenance issues in the room during our stay, but the staff was courteous and very responsive. They fixed the problem quickly and to our satisfaction.

The rooms are nice and comfortable with good space for clothes and a desk to work at. The bathroom has a sliding barn door, so not as great for privacy as a normal door.

Breakfast started after I had to leave for my work meetings, but there were some pastries and coffee set out in a easy \"grab and go\" manner.

Overall, a good choice for a hotel in Mainz.

Room was great, clean, soft bed, lots of pillows, I would recommend some firmer pillows, but that’s it for the room. Breakfast buffet was very expensive for a buffet $34 euros, definitely not worth the cost.

Overall the hotel was very nice with friendly staff and cleanliness. The one thing i didn't care for was the bedding. Rooms come with a big goose down comforter and nothing else. So if you are a hot sleeper your in trouble unless you take the center out of it because there is really no a/c that you can adjust. Other than that i loved it.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location and view couldn’t have been better. The bed was comfortable. The shower head is on the ceiling which my husband loved. Fortunately, they gave us a shower cap so it worked for me too.

Hotel stay was great - only issue was reserving money on my credit card blocked my card for future purchases even though the final charges for my stay were paid. In my option the bill should have cleared by the reserves and I should not have to wait a day or so to see them clear down ! You need to review your charges process please

Large hotel on the river

Just stayed one night but it was a wonderful hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Large rooms. It's right on the river, so you can walk all along it. The hotel is huge. The breakfast buffet looked great, but we didn't partake. It's a short walk to the city center where the bars and restaurants are. I'd stay again!

1st time in Mainz! Great stay!

It was very nice and the staff lovely. Bed comfortable and clean. The bathroom grout looked pretty dirty and moldy. Would have loved the air conditioner to get cooler and the WiFi to be better connection. The breakfast was superb though.

Nice property right on the Rhein, and close to an S-Bahn and the Altstadt.
Only little issue was that I found the room cold, and the heat wasn’t very responsive, but we were brought an extra duvet so all fine.

Loved the location on the river and ability to easily walk along the river feeling safe. Also the ability to walk into the town of Mainz and find cafes all along the way. The food in the hotel restaurant was quite good with a wonderful breakfast buffet and friendly service. Sitting outdoors was very pleasant as well.

IT was just a weekend getaway basically next city over. While the hotel has the retro look and is probably a little older than some of the neighboring Hyatt's it was well maintained and extremely clean. We arrived 2 hours before check-in and they said no problem your room is ready. Super easy check-in and check out, nice breakfast. We left the next day after a little shopping and a lot of relaxing with our batteries recharged. We will be back in the Spring when there is not snow and ice on the ground to enjoy more of the local surroundings.

wonderful hotel -- excellent food and view

My room was Rhine-view and it was wonderful, floor to ceiling windows. The bed was very comfortable, and all the features very modern and in good repair. The food is excellent (there are several eating options), although it can be hard to get a dinner reservation. My one problem was that the bathtub was very high up, and with a slippery bottom, it made getting out a bit dangerous. I would definitely stay here again.

We have paid 19€ for a parking place at Hotel but at the end of the day the parking was full!!! So we have to find another parking !
Many of the staff are not professional and Friendly .
They don’t explain you correct all of the information.
I have booked via Expedia and the room was already paid but at the end (checking out) they ask me to pay for my room! But i show them that is already paid!
They blocked 50€ of my deposit and it was blocked until 4 days later so i ask them via email to unblock my deposit!
At the check out i ask them to give me the recipe (a confirmation that show that everything is paid) but they don’t accept that ! They says it because i booked this room via expedia! )
It's really strange!
I am a traveler and i am always a gold /silver member of expedia but i have never seen a 5 or 4 star hotel like this hotel!

I love the location of this property right on Rhein and not too far from the Markt. The carpeting in our room is looking a little thread bare, but all in all, it is a great place to stay while in Mainz.

Comfortable, iconsistency in the room description

The comfort and the location in the hotel was great as expected. The breakfast buffet with all the necessary covid-19 precautions was fantastically organized, allowing for the relaxing experience. The only issue that i encountered was an inconsistency of the room description: there was no wired internet available, as well as no coffee machine/kettle available.

I have stayed here four times. I love this hotel - it is superb in every way. My only complaint this time was the city view room was very loud with people loading trucks until at least 1-2AM on a Thursday night. It may have gone later but after that I decided to only sleep with the windows closed. Problem solved and it could have just been a one time thing. Otherwise everything about this restaurant is wonderful.

Convenient self parking in the basement at 22 Euro per night. There a large attractive lounge for drinks and meals. Staff marked sights, shopping areas and restaurants on a map for our assistance.

First off....the Good.
Great location on the river.
Nice lobby,clean and quiet room.
The pool area was a big bonus.
Now,
The not so good.
A/c does not work well in this hotel.....barely puts out cool air and it wasn’t even that hot outside.
Towel heater in bathroom did not work.
I told front desk three times and no one ever responded.
When I went to the front desk on day two ,they offered to changed the filter for the AC.
This did not help,and again no one got back to me to
check.
Housekeeping did not restock our room amenities properly.
We had to call down to get water and bathrobes among other things.Not up to Hyatt standards.....it’s too bad ,because it’s a nice place!

Luxury hotel in Mainz

We arrived early so they offered to upgrade our room to one that was available for an additional 80 euros. We agreed and had a lovely corner club room with wonderful views of the river. We also had access to the Regency Club from this room. There were free drinks and snacks from 6-30 until 8 I think in the club. The food was very good and the sparkling reissuing we tried was very good too!
The receptionist Jackie was exceptional showing us around on arrival.
The only downside was the staff at breakfast seemed a bit surly and one in particular seemed to focus on the German guests more.
