Clean room/gentleman that worked at the bar in the evening was great/breakfast options were awesome. Only complaint was it mentioned smart tv in rooms- unfortunately only 3 channels could be changed to english (1 news channel and 2 channels that only showed cartoons in tge evening). Sonds silly but I fall asleep to sitcoms and was able to do so/overall it was a pretty cool place to stay.

The reception was so roomy and lovely, there were lots of free entertainment in the main reception area like a pool table and darts that was such a nice tough and the space was really open and very home like. The staff were so lovely and friendly and it looked like the place was so looked after. We really enjoyed our stay here and could not recommend it enough.

If you are to visit Wiesbaden as a tourist or for work, then choose Penta hotel to stay. They are located near the highway and are not far from Frankfurt airport.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located. They have good dining options as there is a restaurant on site. They have a lounge area and an activities area with a pool table and some arcade games. They have a full bar as well.

The room I stayed in was good for a single guest but for two guests it maybe tight. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The needed amenities were there. Room cleaning service is provided everyday around 9 AM - 10 AM.

OH MY!!! This is Wiesbaden's best kept secret. I was worried because I never heard of it, nut am mow in love! The hotel is awesome! The staff were awesome. I have to come back just to hang in the lounge area! Hahahaha! Parking is superb!!!

The bar and gaming area made this a great stay for anyone. The rooms were nicely furnished. We are able to connect to the TV chromecast easily to stream Netflix (more hotels need this!)
We did not like how the lobby/dining/gaming area were all so hot. It was much cooler outside and even with the doors open, the lobby was very warm and humid (rainy day).

Service was terrible, everything was a chore to them and everything was made difficult. Refused to offer room service even though there was a 24 hour room service menu in the room.

Waiter spilled a whole beer over my colleague and didn’t apologise and offered no help after.

Overall rude staff.

Prices were also extremely high. Menu on their website is old and the menu offered was very limited, no separate lunch / dinner menus.

Location is bad, nothing around so you’d think the restaurant would offer more.

This was the second time we would stay in pentahotel Wiesbaden, and having stayed multiple other times in the chain - I couldn't believe how disappointed I got this time.
The hotel was undergoing massive renovation, which was not shared with us upfront. To make matters worst, the housekeeping service was extremely rude and started entering the room at 08:00 bulling us to checkout. What a disappointment.
On the rest, it was the usual amazing experience you would expect - great bed, shower, breakfast - but we couldn't ignore the experience we had.

No heat in the room, only one bath towel which was thread-bare, internet worked sporadically and was always slow when it worked. They charge 17 euros a night for parking.

Good hotel spoiled by lacklustre service

The staff feel inexperienced and under-trained.

Sitting at the hotel bar one night with five other customers, the sole bar person thought it was more important to put sugar pots on the restaurant tables than serve anyone - while everyone had empty glasses and were visibly waiting frustratedly.

Another time, all four bar and waiting staff went on a smoke break at the same time, chatting amongst themselves outside the hotel entrance and ignoring the fairly full room. No one was served for 15 mins until they were done.

There's no evidence of effective management. Impossible to tell who's in charge which is always a bad sign for a hotel.

Good location. In business area, close to U.S. military complex, on bus line. 5 mind from city center. Driveway is very narrow and inconvenient- better off parking on street for free. \"Front Desk\" doubles as a bar, so you checking in may not be first priority. The lobby felt more like a bar/lounge, and it was very crowded during our stay. The front entrance was full of smokers to get past. Guest rooms are located to the back of building. We had a bit of a walk just to get to the elevators. Rooms have modern retro furnishings. However, walls and carpets could use a good scrub. Beds are good size and comfortable. Large shower area with rainfall showerhead. No mini fridge or ice bucket. Not good for long stay or traveling with family.

Everything about my stay was pretty much a lie. I was told I was getting a non smoking room. I got a smoking room. I reserved a king size bed I got two full size beds. There is some kind of disconnect between the app and the actual hotel. Aside from that everything was great.

I'm at the hotel with a few friends before going out just having fun but not too loud and apparently a guest had an issue and wanted to be moved. A female staff worker banged on my door then I answered. She screamed at me and forced me to turn my music down (the music was coming from a small waterproof shower speaker which wasn't loud at all) or they were gonna force us out with or with out the police. I found that really rude and disrespectful. She could've asked nicely and it would've been a different situation. I checked out later that night. I don't recommend staying here if you're American.

wifi a joke, even for basic browsing. Bed sheets were not clean (hair) - I was with a large party and others reported the same issue. The condition of the hotel and room and its bathroom were great. Water was hot; food was great. I will stay again.

Solid Hotel. I'd rate it 3.5/5 for the facility and 4/5 considering the reasonable price. Room was above average overall although it would/could have been better with a safe and mini fridge. Initially I was given 2 twin beds vice the king size bed I had reserved; however, when I brought this up to the hotel staff at the bar/check-in area they fixed it right away by switching me to a room with a king sized bed.

The FACTS.

The people are very rude and I don't know if it's due to the language barrier but I called and ask the front desk for help & they became very hostile. I was at a club and needed them to call a cab for me because every cab number I found on Google only spoke Deutsch. The man at the front desk said he would not help me because he couldn't guarantee it would come. I begged and pleaded because it was then 4 in the morning & there were no more cabs just coming through. Very frustrating. Anyway, nice set up tho.. The neighborhood is oddly away from everything but that's fine because when I go to a hotel I want silence. I want to sleep. Very modern and a very nice bar/food area at the ground floor. I just truly believe they need to work on professionalism.

Might not go back due to bad wifi and bad matress

Ok so I stayed there many times and it was ok as it's close to the city, you can find parking and I can get to Mainz, Frankfurt or Wiesbaden from here perfectly. What I didn't like in the past was that you had to pay for wifi. Fine, I have accepted that I am in a 3rd world country when it comes to Wifi so pay the outrageous 7 Euro for a day. But what I'm not cool with is that the speed is completely useless. Tried to watch a few videos on codeschool and it would buffer like crazy. Download speed just not up to standard either. Also, only 1 devide can use the paid \"premium\" Wifi so you are on your laptop and want to accept a call via Whatsapp, gotta log out on laptop, login to phone and then take the call which breaks up because of speed 80% of the time. I don't like to be without an option that gives me a workable speed and I don't like it even more if I paid for something that doesn't work. I understand it's not the hotel's fault entirely but since they make money off of this, they gotta fix it.

So something the hotel can do a better job at is matresses. Man, are the matresses bad. Even low end hotels in USA would not put these matresses in. I woke up sore every morning and I'm not a complainer at all/easy to please but this is just not up to hotel standard. it's like sleeping on the equivalent of a $200 kids matress.

Everything was going great at the Penta, however parallel parking was terrible to find outside the hotel on on the Main Street on occasions and spending €30 Euros per day to park inside the hotel lot was not feasible

Restaurant/Bar food and beer were excellent. The staff were outstanding with service, English, a and even helping you learn some Deutsch.

Only thing I had trouble with was my room getting hot and muggy when the sun was out and it warmed up outside. Tried turning the thermostat way down and keeping my curtains closed and bathroom door closed, but it still got muggy.

I enjoy staying at this hotel when I travel to Wiesbaden however, this last trip I ended up in a room that smelled like smoke really bad and had a window that would not shut all the way because it was broken. I could hear the traffic from the highway all night.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than expected and very satisfying. The Bar/Lounge area was a great place to relax at the end of a long day. A special shout out to the staff that helped me make the FC Bayern München vs. Eintracht Frankfurt match. I could not have done it without you!!! The staff gets a 10 from us, service was great and very personable!!!

Wasn't worth the price

We stayed in the room plus, which did not have the separate living or seating area like stated in the description. It's just a regular room size, unless they gave me the wrong room, which they told me they did not. Room service is not good. My view was not of the city it was the other office building. The room had small bugs in it and all the walls need wiping down. Other than those major things, the lounge was great! The breakfast in the morning was excellent! Had a variety of food for everyone. Wonderful for meetings!

The hotel is a little peculiar, but very nice. The reception and bar staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was a nice size. The walls are a little thin though- the next room had a screaming baby on our last night, which woke us up at 3am and did not stop wailing until 4am. Echoes of footsteps and shouting could also be heard in the corridor outside our room (first floor). None of this is the hotels fault, except some better soundproofing might be well invested.

The Penta is a decent hotel and I like it, but there are short comings that keep me from rating it better. The room was clean, but the carpeting very stained. Overall, there is again a need for renovations. Breakfast was a great buffet, but included cold fried eggs (but fresh) and powdered scrambled eggs - yech. Thankfully there were other choices too. The wifi is excruciatingly slow - if there is anything more than text on a page - and these days, when isn't there - it took forever to load. It is very conveniently located and though I didn't eat here on this stay, the restaurant was ok on previous stays.

Won't refund unused days or even talk to me

Nice hotel but .... I had to leave after 2 days, paid my checkout and tried to get a refund for 2 unused days. Wotif said that they claimed I had stayed the full 4 days despite me having a checkout paid invoice. Refused to respond to my emails. Still trying to work out if they are incompetent or corrupt.

The room was fairly clean, but the sheets were not changed the entire 5 nights I was there. The bathroom floor was not cleaned either as there was a hair barrette on the floor when I arrived on Sunday and still there when I left on Friday. The carpets in the hallways were stained, they could have used a good cleaning. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel during a volleyball tournament in Weisbaden. This hotel is very close to post, which is what I needed. From the very moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed and satisfied. The bed was comfortable and huge! The room and bathroom was a perfect size for just me. Overall this was an amazing hotel! If you are looking for great, affordable, clean lodging outside of post, this is the place to stay!

solid choice when staying in Rhein-Main area

this is my favorite choice when staying in the rhein-main area. Not sure if they had a sale but their price was unbeatable.

You can pay 4x and get a room at the high class chain hotel in Mainz on the other side of the rhine river and have a smaller room.

Looks like they upped their price for breakfast to €17 which I found too steep.

Parking can be an issue, was lucky enough to find a space outside streetside and not have to pay for hotel parking

The vending machines took a little time for me to get use to but other othan that it was perfect for what I needed. I ordered a couple spicy pizzas. taste great. I ordered the \"men will be men\" steak, taste great... I also had a few drinks at the bar, great bar tender, excellent drinks... I cannot say anything bad about the hotel.

My daughter and I stayed at the Pentahotel for three nights when we were visiting family in Wiesbaden. First, the hotel is a bit strange in that when you enter because you check in at the bar. The rooms are fine, and the best thing is the bed, which is huge (as in bigger than a king size). Near the lobby is a room with a foosball table and a pool table. There is plenty of seating. When we were there, there were a lot of US Army personnel. Apparently there was a temporary housing shortage and the Army put some of its people up at the Pentahotel.

The only reason Room comfort is not a 5 is because it was too hot and the thermostat had to be put on \"heat\" with a lower temperature, instead of \"cool\" which is what I was trying to. Obviously not intuitive.

Staff were very good, all spoke excellent English. Communal bar/reception area is very nice, room was only ok, in need of some redecoration where paint and walls had been damaged. Bedside glasses were dusty which put me off a bit. Overall a decent 3 star hotel at a reasonable price. Hotel parking is an extra 15euro a day but on street parking is available for free, ,located in an out of town office area so fairly safe.

NIce hotel, inconsistent service

A nicely designed hotel that generally gives you a pleasant stay for the money. Apart from some hiccups at the checkin and checkout (they tried to charge me for the room on both occasions, despite having paid for it through hotels.com), this was a very nice stay. Be aware that despite being close to the city, walking is not recommended due to the lack of pedestrian roads. Taxi costs 10eur each way. Would stay again, but only for business. Tourists should look for something more central.

Close to the U.S. Army Base

The hotel was very nice and modern. We were visiting our son in the army, and it was very close to the base. It is not real close to downtown Weisbaden, but it was in a good location for us. The staff was friendly. The rooms are a little small, but clean. The fitness room could be better by having free weights, but they have decent cardio machines. The beds were a little hard, but other than that I would definitely stay there again.

It is a want to be hotel

Bad impression as soon as you walk in. Nothing more than a IBIS hotel for much less money!
Carpet dirty, small room. Unfriendly location, need a taxi to get to the city. Not recommendable!!,

Visit to Wiesbaden

The hotel was ideally situated for an early get away to the airport. It was only a short taxi ride to town for restaurants and bars, although the hotel facilities also provided good quality food and drinks. Breakfast was excellent and the room was quiet.Free pool table was also a nice touch.
