Located at the heart of Wiesbaden directly beside the Rhein Main Congress Center, this hotel is just a few minutes walk from the main train station, the spa house, the casino and the state theatre. The exclusive shopping street of this sophisticated spa town may also be reached on foot and it is some 30 km to Frankfurt airport.

This 7-storey hotel was renovated in 2001 and comprises a total of 297 rooms of which 30 are suites. Facilities include a spacious, elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange bureau, a lift and a cosy lobby bar, various function rooms for conferences and meetings, a cocktail bar as well as an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant and an outdoor terrace.

Room and laundry services are on offer. Guests may make use of the hotel garage facilities.

This is a very nice hotel. Staff were very pleasant asked for a room away from the lifts which we had and the room was very nice. Large bright breakfast room with a good choice of food. Tables cleared very quickly. Bit of a hike into town around 15 minutes which if you did it twice a day you certainly got your steps in. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel!! The room was spacious and quiet. I heard no city noise and very little noise from the hallway. The bed was super comfortable with soft pillows. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel is in an excellent location to where I could walk anywhere I needed. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The staff are the best of all. The shower was excellent with strong water pressure. The room furniture needs updating. They are not clean with obvious stains. The carpeted floor hides dirt too. The gym is extremely small for the size of the hotel. It’s not as shown on website either.

Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar und ziemlich zentral. Die Zimmer sind OK...nichts besonderes aber OK. Das Personal im Le Bistrot Restaurant und an der Bar zum größten Teil eine absolute Katastrophe. Unfreundlich, desinteresiert und teilweise frech. Das Personal im Frühstücksraum sehr nett allerdings. Schade, aus dem Hotel könnte man was machen aber....

My disappointment

My stay at the hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. The day before I left the hotel, I paid at the reception for my stay at the hotel in cash and even asked the clerk not to charge an additional payment through the credit card that was given only for security purposes. Of course, the clerk approved it, but to my disappointment, today I see on my credit card charges a charge of over 350 euros for my stay at the hotel. I would like to cancel the charge immediately. Thank you.

Not perfect but does the job!

Staff is always good. Breakfast is always amazing. The room was a little warm and didnt get cool but it was a warm day and everyone probably had on a ac unit. The bathroom was fairly clean but the whole counter was full of dust that was noticeable. Dont know if it was overlooked by the cleaning department or not which would be a shame since the counter top takes up a great percentage of the bathroom. The hotel is still modern with the older woode style furniture but the mix of up to date items helps keep this spot one i will come back too. Perfect for a couple days or overnight if your looking for qualrity accommodations with some upscale qualities.

Everything was wonderful. We will visit again at another property, but we had a great time. It was very quiet The staff was very wonderful specially the guys the Iranian guys that works in the bar. They was great. Told us places to go and just very nice people. We can’t remember. I think one of them name was Mohammed and I can’t think of the other guy name But thanks again again we had a wonderful time

Ridiculous price for parking when there is no adequate parking available. I paid for a superior room to accommodate 3 people in 2023 . I paid for a superior room in 2024 same price range and got a smaller room. Then wanted to charge me 30 euros more for and extra bed when i already paid for 3 people accommodations. Their were towels for 2 people only. Not please with my stay on this occasion

Dorint. Hatte dieses Mal ein renoviertes Musterzimmer. Sehr geschmackvoll und dezent modernisiert- es wäre wünschenswert, alle Zimmer so herzurichten.
Sehr schön auch die Renovierungen in der Lobby und im Garten/ auf der Terrasse. Sehr gut gelungen!
Ein Dankeschön an die super netten, immer hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter , vor allem an der Rezeption (Nachtschicht hat noch Nachholbedarf in dieser Hinsicht)!

We spent three days here for my birthday. Lovely clean hotel with easy check in and very friendly staff. We originally booked here because it is directly across the street from the train station. We ended up renting a car and found parking on the street, but they do have on site parking available for a daily fee. Comfy beds, great shower pressure and I know it is stupid, but . . . I love quality toilet paper! Refrigerator was a plus, as were the attentive housekeeping staff. We are not picky, we do not need clean sheets every day, just an extra towel here and there and coffee. So pleased to discover this beautiful city of Weisbaden within walking distance. Spent my special day at Yours Sports Bar. The owner was so friendly and helpful. His staff . . the best and great selection of food and service. Hope we can return in the future because Dorint Pallas is a palace for us.

Wiesbaden stay

I stayed at this hotel for a tradeshow in Frankfurt. It was a quick 4 minute walk to the station. the town is very quaint and charming. the hotel is undergoing some construction work but the service was wonderful, breakfast was a delicious spread. Employees were all so pleasant. Definitely staying here again. I loved hardwood flooring in the bedroom.

My family and I have been staying at the Dorint for the last 4 years and they have been absolutely amazing. The hotel is 15-20min walk from the marketplace (restaurants, shopping centers ) and a 5min walk from the train station. The staff are always friendly. Highly recommend! And make sure to try their breakfast! The spread is amazing

The room was a good size but the food want a bit mediocre. Additionally, the shower pressure do not allow us to take it a hot shower. the shower pressure was good when it was on cold water but when you went over to the hot side it it became less forceful and would not have enough pressure to engage to shower properly

Could but not would (next time)

The hotel interior is solid and shiny, it was also not crowded due to the current covid situation, so we were able to enjoy the empty space.

Unfortunately, there we have noted several issues that are not compatible with the star-ranking of the hotel:

1) our (superior) room was shabby and used, sofa had dirt and damages

2) some towels were with the traces of dirt

3) we only had one set of towels for 2 adults and 1 child in the room. Of course after going to reception and telling this we were given with the missing ones, but...

3) they provide 4 Nespresso capsules as a welcome gesture, but 1 of the capsules in the box was used already - how is this even possible?

4) we found some left-overs from the previous guests, e.g. plastic bottle caps under the table

5) both soap dispensers were empty, I cannot understand how this is possible, luckily we had our own sanitary stuff - had no power to go and complain again

6) Prior to arrival I have asked for a baby bed in the special requests - this was not provided either.

7) dinner menu is super trimmed - Caesar salad, or burger, or schnitzel - that's it. Not a level of a 5-star hotel restaurant.

Overall, we were able to rest, but I would rather choose another hotel next time.

My husband and I have been coming to Wiesbaden every Christmas for many years and got very disappointed with another hotel which deteriorated over years and service became dreadful, so we decide to try a different hotel and we have chosen the right one this time. The property is very nice but it is in need of a facelift, especially the carpets in the room. There is plenty of parking around this hotel, and you can park for free on the street behind the hotel which is a real bonus in Wiesbaden.

Ok but too expensive

It`s strange that my previous review on this hotel somehow disappeared.. Will repeat it for other users. Stayed on a business trip for 2 nights in April 2019. Generally, the hotel is ok but a way too expensive, and, in my humble opinion, is not a real 5-star. My room was basic and a bit tired, with kettle, glasses, toiletries, etc. Thought the safe box did not work. Iron would be also a nice addition. Breakfast is more or less ok, if you come before 7 AM. Afterwards, the dining room is packed, and the cook gets rude. Fruits are tasteless. The main problem with this place is STAFF. Reception is always too busy and grand to pay any attention to the guests. NEVER, not a glimpse of a smile. The room service was most weird – I was given a twin room instead of double as booked. Being too tired I just put two beds together and slept like that. BUT the next day they specially separated them with sheets and covers! Location is ok, near the Central station and a small park. Taxi stop at the back entrance to the hotel.

The Dorint Hotel Pallas is in an ideal location for exploring Wiesbaden, and close to train station for longer trips. It was a well maintained property, and other than one exception the staff were all very polite and accommodating. I do have a few nitpicks for the hotel (listed below), though nothing that would prevent me from staying again. However note the breakfast is NOT included (unless you definitely purchased a room with breakfast) and at the time of our staying was 28EURO per person. I was never once told the price and was directed to breakfast upon checking in, so actually thought it was included (since I didn't get a room upgrade for my gold status, I thought maybe they had upgraded us via adding breakfast). Luckily I was prepared for the fact that it might not be, and it was a decent buffet which worked for us since we had limited time in the morning to hunt down breakfast was the best option. Still it should be made a lot clearer, as I could easily see this being a not pleasant surprise for someone.

Suggestions for improvement:
- better shampoo/bodywash, seriously it smelt and looked like Dawn dish soap. I did not use it other than to wash my hands.
- there was only 1 free bottle of water for our entire stay, it should be replaced daily since tap water tastes horrible in Germany.
- we opted for the water conservation/skip cleaning for 2 days and never received our free drinks. Also most places will still come in and refill coffee supplies, make bed etc.

A worn-out property with rude staff being offered as a VIP+ 5* hotel at quite high rates, absolutely inadequate to what you get.
I spent here my birthday hoping to get a relaxed weekend in this renown spa city, instead, I got noisy drunk neighbours having fun in the hall in front of my room at 3am. When I complained at reception and wanted to be transferred to another room the rude front officer refused. The second night the exact same situation happened. I received not even an apology.

Superb hotel in Wiesbaden (near train station)

Very nice hotel; stay here regularly. Plenty of good breakfast; evening meal offer is OK (rather than really good) but it is the same every night so not ideal if you are staying longer than a day or two, especially if you don't eat meat. The fact that I do not even consider other hotels in Wiesbaden does say this has to be the one for me.

They run a program that states, hang this on your door, you’ll get a free drink voucher for each day you don’t use the housekeeping service, I asked about it upon checkout and was only given one instead of the four days housekeeping didn’t have to upkeep. I had to ask about it and it was during checkout and it expired that same day, not even something for future use. One would think they would give it to you during your stay allowing you to use it before you depart or give it a much long expiration date, incentivizing you to return.

Good location, poorly managed. No recognition of status, no explanation of breakfast times, amenities, etc, if checking in they don’t even look to see if their may be a room ready, they just point to the 3pm check in policy and don’t bother with accommodating you. Upon check out, I had to tell THEM that I had a charge at the bar the day before or they would have let me go without collecting. Overall there is a feeling here that they could care less about their guests. I won’t be back.
