The staff was great! Very friendly and went above and beyond to satisfy and accommodate needs. The room I booked was clean, not a lot of amenities but room service did their job in a timely manner.
The hotel has no parking so you have to park nearby. It’s about a 7 minute walk. The location of the hotel is great. It’s my favorite thing about the hotel. You can walk and explore and even drink/ shop and no need to drive to find something to do

My stay was very good overall. Breakfasts were very good, the staff was very nice and helpful. I would give it an \"excellent\" if the shower had soap, it had two shampoo bottles instead. I definitely can recommend Garner Hotel!

I live in the area, and was looking for a Hotel property for my mother who was coming into town from the States for a week. I searched all hotels in the city center of Wiesbaden that was budget friendly. Select Hotel was very reasonably priced. I physically went to the property myself to inspect the property and surrounding are. I wanted to make sure my mother was going to be happy and safe. I was actually really impressed with the room. It was clean, with a lot of white in the color scheme, and just look,... really clean and classy. The view outside the front of the hotel was the icing on the cake. I knew my mother was going to love the view of the palace looking hotel right across the street. The ENTIRE AREA of the hotel is amazing!!!!!!!!! Sites, shopping (high end also), bars, restaurants, opera hall, side walk cafe's, history at every corner! My mother was really happy and felt as if she was at home (Her words). The Staff at the Hotel did a great job taking care of my mother throughout her stay. One of the gentlemen there even went to knock on her door to see if she was ok. She forgot to turn on her WIFI to use WhatsApp. He told her I was trying to reach her. Soon after she call me lol. Anyway, next time my mother comes into town, Select Hotel Wiesbaden is her place to stay. There was just one thing she didn't like. She didn't like the fact that if she wanted to iron clothing, she had to go to the 2nd floor ironing room. That was inconvenient for her. I agree.

Hotel was very central to Wiesbaden. Rooms were decent. However was woken up several times at 1-2am, as other guests were playing music/shouting, and it could be heard in the corridors and I could hear it in my room. Went and spoke to reception, staff there seemed annoyed that I was bothering them about it, and reluctantly took their time in going to handle it. The breakfast was okay, but very thin on the eggs/bacon/protein, and ran out early.

Nice location, plenty of dining options around, shopet, haircut, coffeehouse. Clean and comfortable beads, staff was as helpful. Better take breakfast in hotel, it's expensive everywhere around. No guest parking, it's always questionnable how to load/unload the luggage. Rooms can take max 2 persons. Overall, if looking just to sleep comfortably for a few nights - it's a great place.

I come to Wiesbaden two or three times a year and I always stay at the Select Hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and very flexible with my requests to extend, which happens often. They know the floor and rooms I like even without asking. The cleaning staff in the nicest staff I have encountered and I have encountered a lot. When I come to Select Hotel it is like coming home.

Th room was small but sufficient. Biggest problems were very small comforter and no sheet. The room was very hot and no way to adjust. Breakfast was good. I left a kindle reader. Called twice but no answer to try to get it back. Very disappointing.

This hotel is my go to place whenever I am in Wiesbaden. Location is perfect - near the pedestrian district and easy walk to many attractions and restaurants. The massage place is in the same building and the thermal bath a few steps away. The service is great. Breakfast buffet is wide selection and Soniya makes delicious freshly fried or scrambled eggs for each guest individually with a big smile.

Location is great, walking distance to Kurpark, pedestrian zone and lots of restaurants, cafes etc.. Front desk service was friendly, yet when I wanted to check in at noon I was informed that check is at 3.00 PM. I was offered to wait in the lobby and/or leave my luggage with the front desk. Since I have had serious jet lag I opted for a walk. Service desk did not offer to call me when room was ready. Room was small ( single Traveller) yet clean and ok. No view in rear courtyard, yet very quiet. Parking after 7.00 pm on street is free yet hard to come by . Hotel offered a reduced daily rate of Euro 14.00 at Kurhaus parking, 300 m walk.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms, neither of which had A/C but the rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and we were able to open the windows for some fresh air.

Likes: Location - very central, AC, staff, breakfast was delicious, no long wait time, safe in room

Dislikes: no iron and ironing board, stair doors were locked and I was also offered and shown to take the stairs with my luggage - how would I have gotten through the locked door?, stains on TV wall. Looked like coffee or cola splashes.

Otherwise, great hotel. Would stay again.

The picture on the site match exactly what you’ll get and that’s just great! It was a pleasant stay and the check-in time allowed for me to come straight after my late night flight from overseas! Breakfast is also yummy (there’s a waffle bar too) and the staff are helpful to keep bags after check out if your flight is a little later

I liked the location. Property was fine except the AC didn't work.

Upon checkout I was surprised with an addition 6 Euro dollar bill. The representative said I was erroneously not charged that amount upon check in. I had clearly saw the cost of the stay and the city tax on the statement when I booked it in Expedia.

Superb hotel for this competitive price range

Superb hotel for the price range. I was attending an opera in the State Theatre and was back in the hotel before the final applause had finished, so close is it to that venue. Shopping area, restaurants, parks, coffee shops all close by. Excellent staff, attentive, friendly and welcoming. Best experience in a long time. Top marks.

Staff were excellent, spoke english and were great about explaining everything. I Wasn’t keen on the off site parking and definitely not keen on the \"double bed\"....which is literally two single beds put together. Not comfortable when you're trying to have sexy time or snuggle time with the booski; I guarantee someone will end up in the crack. Room was a bit small, but that's not really an issue if yiu plan to be out nost of the day.
Room service did an excellent job every single time. Breakfast was a separate charge but worth it. Yum.

Fine but smoky.

Really persistent smell of cigarette/cigar smoke in non smoking room. But I didn't complain, so they may well have moved me if I asked. Unfortunately the room was over the entrance, so opening the window just meant more smoke from the smokers outside.

Disturbing noise

In our room's A/C vent there was noise most of the time during the day and night like something is moving or running around, making a lot of noise. We suspect it was either a bird or a rodent because the sound is so obvious and it moves from place to place.

Lousy lift!

Good value, clean and tidy. Reception was efficient and pleasant.
Only issue is the lift. It’s a little temperamental and quite tatty. This spoils the overall experience of the hotel, a little.

Great location, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants a couple of minutes walk away. Modern hotel rooms with everything you need. My room was facing the road, but i couldn’t hear any traffic noise. Staff are very friendly. I didn’t have breakfast there, so can’t comment on that. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
