The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room to a junior suite without us asking! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great.

The property is convenient to the downtown area of Wiesbaden. It has about 20 parking spaces, but also hosts conventions so it can get full. Staff is friendly and it has a nice standard German breakfast.

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the garden/terrace is beautiful on a sunny day for breakfast or relaxing with a glass of Sekt. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony. The room was spotless, spacious and quiet with all the amenities we needed. This hotel will always be are first choice for future visits.

This is a great hotel with fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff throughout the bank. I always enjoy staying here during my trips to Wiesbaden. It’s in my opinion the best and cleanest hotel in town.

Best value for the money. Beautiful hotel, great location. We rented a car for our day trip and it was easy to park when we went to check in. Very friendly and informative front desk service. The only feedback I have was the shower door was not secure, so it spilled lots of water in floor when we showered. Also we were delighted our room had a towel warmer, but disappointed when it did not work.

Good hotel - nice sized rooms with seats and a table, big bathroom, great shower. Quite a dated hotel, but good for us on business. Restaurant food was good - service is a bit slow but very professional and smart. Breakfast was very busy in the morning so we didn't stay. Vanity kit in the room was an empty box with nothing inside, and was 11pm when i went to use it so didn't bother asking for another, but imagine was just a simple mistake and if i had asked I'm sure they would have replaced. Overall would recommend!

Great stay at the Oranien.
My wife and I stayed at the Oranien for two nights in November 2018. We found the hotel to be superb. The room was immaculate, bright, and cheery and the price was reasonable. We visit Wiesbaden often, as our daughter resides there and, on this occasion, we opted to stay downtown for a couple of nights to live like a local. It was great. The staff were most helpful and the accommodations were nearly optimum. We will encourage others to stay at the Oranien. I give it five stars.

We love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. Nicole was amazing. She upgraded our room since were were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Gary was also amazing. He gave us suggestions for dining and overall shopping and sightseeing. The location is wonderful and in walking distance to the main shopping district. We will be back for certain.

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was extremely quiet probably because it was right after the New Year. Breakfast had a good choice of food, there is a tea/coffee maker in the room but unfortunately no milk. The receptionist arranged for us a taxi very early in the morning and we went to Frankfurt Airport (this was 45 euros).

The hotel was ok. Abit tired and dated. Rooms spacious but in need of some modernising - bathroom in particular. Bed was comfortable.For the money we paid we did at least expect some complementary water in the room (there was only a mini bar where everything was charged). Location of the hotel is very good especially if you have a car as there is parking for around €10 per night.

I very was pleased with the Oranian hotel and staff. The hotel is older but very nicely maintained with good size rooms and ours even had a small balcony. We enjoyed the facilities - breakfast is excellent and the bar is great. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Location is very good with plenty of free parking!

The hotel may appear to be somewhat dated at first glance but it was basically an excellent facility, comfortable and spacious room and virtually near the center of town.

About 20 minutes walk to trains for connections throughout Europe. The only small concern was that the cleaning staff was a little hit or miss. Did not empty garbage one day. Forgot to leave an extra roll of toilet paper another day. Overall would recommend a stay here.

This hotel was fine run by friendly helpfull and efficient staff . I felt it was perhaps a little expensive and in particular I would question charging € 15.00 per person for breakfast having charged just over€ 200 for 2 nights accommodation in a single room . Although ideally located for exploring the city it is a long walk from the station ( a taxi from the station cost € 10.00 . )

Excellent stay. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance of the city's main attractions. For a fee, you can park in the hotel's private parking lot. We accidentally left a car window open and after somebody had noticed, the staff covered it with plastic to keep the rain out during the night. Great service!

The only negative issue with this hotel is that it is a round 900M walk from the centre of town. the 1902 opera house, undamaged by war, is a rococco jewel where I saw an excellent performance of Madama Butterfly - highly recommended. And if you are looking for a bite after the show there are of course 2 kebab shops nearby!

We were here on Christmas Day, the hotel staff was very friendly, it also looked like the hotel throws a great Christmas Day buffet for the locals. The room was great, nice big size, great bedding and nice bathroom. The hotel is close to the center of the city, near a bus line and close to food and sights.

This is an amazing hotel. The room was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean and very fresh. The restaurant is a must. All of the food was wonderful. Good hotel with good service. Still, not at a good location for shopping or so. And the water boiler I got from friendly hotel stuff has rust inside which looks very scary. Other than this, everything is very good. The room and bed are both big and comfortable, I will go again.

I stayed at Hotel Oranien for 4 nights on a business trip. Overall, I found it more charming and interesting than one of the big chain hotels, but there were some tradeoffs. Considering the price I paid, I thought it was fantastic value, and I would stay there again. Here are some specifics:
Comfort: I was in room 319, which is on the top floor. Lots of neat nooks and crannies. I found it really cozy and nice, but some might think it a little small. The bed was softer than average, but not as soft as the Westin \"Heavenly\" Bed for instance. Linens were good.
Noise: Very little. It was quiet and peaceful every night. Didn't hear any neighbors at all.
Internet: Free reasonably decent wifi. About average. Had to get a different username and password for each device, which was a little annoying.
Amenities: I found these a little lacking. Housekeeping didn't replace my soap when I used it for instance. And the biggie for me was NO COFFEE MAKER! Room service will bring up coffee if you ask, but they are not available until 6am, which didn't help me much at 4am. If they could offer that at 4am, it would have been awesome. There's also no iron, but they will bring up one of those if you ask too (but they take it back when they clean the room).

No pool; no hot tub; no gym. A decent restaurant at the hotel, but overpriced like every hotel.
Parking: conveniently right next to the hotel; plenty available at a cost
