The hotel is relatively modern and clean but totally lacks any type of personal service. My room was not cleaned during my stay, the check in process was confusing with them trying to do it via WhatsApp ahead of my arrival and the staff at the desk were not friendly. In addition, I had a tea tray in my room but the only option was one chamomile tea bag and two sachets of sugar...there were no other options and no water or any other amenities in the room.

Hotel overall is really nice.. breakfast was amazing as always..

Limited parking. The secured off street parking for hotel is very limited so you have to park in the back by the river and all the rear doors arent openable from the outside so when its raining you have to walk about 500 meters around the building to get in. Its not clearly noted.

I would recommend to at least have one of the rear doors me marked and have a card reader to let guests in.

I had an abesolutley wonderful stay with MKHotel. Lovely staff that were super accomodating and lovely rooms. Only reason i give it a 4/5 is the Airconditioning was broken in 2/3 rooms we viewed. I was moved in the end but at the same time the new room was only ever so slightly better, but still very warm. But overall i was really impressed, and 100% will be back.

This hotel is very nice, the location is great, view is beautiful, rooms are very clean, only issue was that housekeeping unlocked the door and woke me up at 8:15 am asking when I’m checking out, and did it again at 10:15 am even though check out is at 11:00 am, other than that it is a nice place to stay at and would stay again but I would bring a do not disturb sign with me next time.

Modern feeling hotel in a cute spot

Check in was fairly painless, some limited English (but better than my German, so can't complain). Hotel is clean, charming, and modern feeling. The attached brewery does some excellent pork knuckle and similar fare. Lovely little spot by the river and just 20 minutes from the Frankfurt CBD.

Only complaint is the shower; there's no barrier for water so it justs floods out of the shower, into the bathroom, and on into the hallway. You'll be mopping up after every shower. Probably fine for a solo traveller, untenable if you're sharing with someone.

Great rooms. Modern and upgraded. The rooms are wonderful, spacious with high ceilings and natural light that is easily darkened with the push button blinds and curtains. Perfect quiet location a few steps from the river walk, and tranquility of a large park. Restaurants are within a two minute walk. Hotel restaurant is very good.

The original room assigned to us upon checking in was not like the pictures on the website. Apparently, the room was for handicapped guests. My wife and I approached the front guest to discuss our observations, and the front desk immediately moved us to a new room. This room matched the pictures on the site. The room was older, but clean. The waterfall shower had enough pressure and the water was hot. We were able to open the window to freshen up the room, which had a slight smell…not too bad.

We would stay again just for the price comparison with the Hilton and the Hyatt in Mainz. The extra 10 minutes of driving was worth saving a 100 Euros.

Breakfast was average. Enough selection, just not anything that stood out. Hot food items were lukewarm or cool. Coffee was prepared in canisters…ok. No coffee machine to make fresh espresso or cappuccino…etc. again, OK breakfast with a nice staff.

Worth the price in comparison to other hotels in the area.

Check in was super quick and took less then 5 mins to get my key and everything situated. Air conditioning was okay wasn’t the best but good thing for the window being able to open.

There was nothing to like here. No staff, under the guise of it was because of covid. creepy lights made a questionable atmosphere feel creepy. The bed had a half eaten candy in it.I am pretty sure the bed was not changed before we go there.No one to call to ask for clean sheets or extra pillow.Woul never recommend or stay there. It wasnt even a great price.

Chic hotel with a bit of character

The shower as mentioned is a bit wierd with a glass wall into room. But it's not a big deal, also it's tinted. That said, the overall design of the bathroom is a bit wierd but it's a modern hotel, so the designer was obviously trying to be avant-garde.

Overall good stay, with gated parking off street. Which is unique in most European hotels.

Only real complaint was the scrambled eggs in the morning were foul. Both mornings, it may have just been regional spicing I wasn't good with, or they used instant eggs and they werent such a good brand or a little out of date. Didn't make me sick, but the smell was off-putting.

They do convert the breakfast area and patio to a bar in the evening so that was convient.

Staff spoke good English and was helpful.

Would go there again if in Russelshiem

They're doing the best they can under the circumstances.
Location near the river is pleasant if you ignore the industrial storage tanks on the opposite bank.
Not too many restaurants available in the area.
The hotel staff are also at less than optimum quantities but overall, it was ok.

The hotel is a bit away from the city but I found it easily accessible as it’s only 1 train ride away from either city centre, main station or airport (on the S-Bahn).
Breakfast was plentiful and rooms were modern. Reception staff were friendly both at check in and check out. Would stay again if travelling to Frankfurt in the future.

The family rooms at the hotel are great. King bed for the grown up and cubby-bunk beds for the kids. When we arrived at the hotel we were checked into a normal room and had to trudge back to the front desk to get a family room. Mistakes happen. The difficult part was that when we got the family room the air conditioner was unable to keep the room cool and sounded like a jet engine was in the room.

Best Eight Nights I've Ever Had in a Hotel!

I’m not a wealthy person, so I’ll never stay at an actual 5-star rated hotel, but for me, this place was the best! I live in Las Vegas USA and I stayed here for eight nights for a special event held by my classic Opel GT club for the 50th anniversary of the debut of the iconic Opel GT. The air conditioning isn’t very good, but it's comparable to the other five hotels in Europe where I’ve stayed that have air conditioning. However, the window opened completely, and with the cool September nights, that helped a little by 3:00 in the morning. The mk is clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. One day I asked to borrow an iron for a dress shirt that I wanted to wear the next day. I was planning on just using the desk as the ironing board. They brought me an iron and a full-size ironing board!

One thing I must say is that the shower is designed poorly, so water runs under the door and into the sink area, the toilet closet, and the room entryway if towels are not put down in just the right way.

The vending machine has snacks and cold drinks, which is rare in Germany. It didn’t work half of the time, but one of the staff would unlock it and get what I wanted and I just gave her the money for it. Although, when she wasn't working, I was out of luck. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the River Main. It became convenient also that there’s a laundromat two blocks away!

I highly recommend the mk | hotel rüsselsheim.

There’s not enough space for a full review, but I stayed here for eight nights for an event with my Opel GT club, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but I want to point out a couple of items. The first two things have to do with breakfast. One review mistakenly said that breakfast is included with the room rate, but there’s a surcharge for breakfast, just like many other hotels. Another review posted about 4 months ago stated that there was no bacon or sausage at breakfast, and the hotel answered that they would change that. Well, they still don’t serve bacon or sausage and it’s the same food every day. A couple of days that I was there, they didn’t have scrambled eggs either, so just cold cuts and room temperature milk for protein.

The restaurant where breakfast is served was very nice and clean. The terrace portion overlooks the River Main. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are new and immaculate, but the showers let out a lot of water if you don’t put a towel at the bottom of the door and be careful of the side of the door. It looks great, but it’s a poor design.

The vending machine in the lobby only works about half of the time.

The air conditioning is weak and the vent is in a bad place, both of which are typical for Europe, but the window can be opened, and I could prop open the blinds with a facial tissue box to cool off my room enough to sleep on most of the nights I was there.

I liked staying here very much, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Customer service was really good, the room that I booked was a family room however the information given to the hotel via the 3rd party website was incorrect. Although they are running at full occupancy, they managed to change my room to a family room! My young children were thrilled as they have their separate little bedroom!
Condition of the room is great too, we enjoyed our stay there!

Vriendelijke service die met je mee denkt. Schone en moderne kamers die stil zijn, goed donker te maken, fijne bedden en schoon sanitair.

liever geen mensen met honden toestaan bij het ontbijt.
Wij werden geconfronteerd met mensen die een vrij grote, natte, naar regen en vis stinkende hond lieten rond wandelen in het restaurant gedeelte.
