I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Parkhotel Frankfurt Airport, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and genuinely attentive to my needs, making me feel at ease right away.

The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean, with a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and featured all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and a peaceful, quiet environment.
Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient. Being so close to Frankfurt Airport, it made my early morning flight departure a breeze. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was punctual and hassle-free, which made my travels much smoother.

Additionally, the hotel offers a range of great facilities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The on-site restaurant also provided great meals, and the bar area was the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Nice accommodation in a very nice area. Hotel restaurant (Indian cuisine) is excellent, breakfast was very good also. The setting is nice and quiet right next to a park. More restaurants around the area. A bit dated and has a fan instead of an A/C but fortunately it wasn't that hot.

The only sore point was that I could not get rid of the smell of tobacco in my room. Not sure if it was ingrained in the carpet. I had to keep the window open all day and even then it was terrible. I saw they are removing the carpet in some of the rooms which will probably help. Tried to get a different room but all they told me was that they were all non-smoking. Other than that the Indian restaurant and breakfast was great and the location could not be better. Short hop to the airport and good bus and train service.

The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a real problem. The placement of the aftermarket heater was ridiculous. Because of it, the door to the bath could only open about 70%. It made the bathroom extremely tight and hard to use. Also, the bathroom sink faucet was loose and hard to control.

Few miles from airport. Very fast check in. Free parking. Breakfast included and was great. Within a couple minute walk to cafes and restaurants. Quiet. Only downside is no air conditioning in rooms but cool enough to have windows open. Also no business area to print boarding pass. Recommend for a one night stay. Very convenient.

Comfort in quaint town of Hattersheim

The Parkhotel is a comfortable ,friendly , clean & quiet hotel right in the center of town of Hattersheim ,between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden .
Train station is closeby - there is much to discover in this region full of scenic towns ,wineries, breweries ,history , gastronomy and great scenic walking and cycling paths . On hot summer days , take a splash in the open air towns pool, a 5 minute walk away. There are restaurants nearby and a great Italian ice cream cafe serving all kinds of seasonal ice cream creations . For dinner I enjoyed the local Hessian cuisine at Nassau Hof restaurant housed in a historical building with open air courtyard seating .
Parkhotel features a very nice full breakfast included with your stay , eggs, meats , variety of breads and rolls ,jams, fruit, yogurt, and a coffee station.

Arrived 22:20 and kitchen closes 22:00. Nothing to eat - not even a sandwich. As a business man late arrival is a part of work. From receptionist did not receive any information about WiFi code, breakfast - was difficult to understand - though help with drink from the bar. Breakfast next morning - coffee was not served and the juice ran out without the staff refilling. Did not collect used plates. I often stay over in Frankfurt near airport and will pick another accommodation next time - not value for money

Decent hotel but not convenient

We stayed one night to get an early flight at Frankfurt Airport. I chose this hotel because it was a good value and advertised a shuttle service. The hotel is basically fine but there is no shuttle. For the 60 Euros we spent for cab fares, you can stay at a nicer place closer to the airport. There is an excellent restaurant next door/behind the hotel.

Amazing value for low cost

I am amazed. Hotel is nice, clean and location is 100 meters from old town which is very nice. I
had quite low expectations. What was good:
1. Location. It is quite near to station and walk is through beautiful old town
2. Food. This exceeded my expecations.
3. Bed quality. I had very good sleep there.
4. Service. After being living in Japan I am quite sensitive and in Europe I find often service quality low. In hotel I felt care by all of staff when I needed.
5. Quiet and peace. I wanted to work in silence. It was possible.

Fine place to stay in Hattersheim

We stayed here for a night in August 2015. Our room was very spacious with a balcony. The bathroom was a little dated but the shower was nice and hot and powerful. The mattresses were big but I found them a bit soft and springy but other people in the party liked them. Breakfast was ok - nice bread, cereal, fruit and a cooked option. The Spanish waiter who served us was nice and friendly. The big downfall for me was that the lift was out of service and my mum had broken her ankle so was on crutches/in a wheelchair and had to hobble up the steps every time she went to her room.

Adequate hotel at great price

Baring in mind the very competitive price the hotel met all my requirements, the room was always spotless, the condition I would describe as a little run down but well it is well kept and everything works. My encounters with staff were always very friendly. Had breakfast on the first day, and only the first day..... That's all I have to say on that subject (it wasn't great).

I was in a single room which had a small balcony, had all I needed for my stay in the room. 1 pillow which was not very useful to be honest, bed was ok.

Outside directly behind, there are two gems of restaurants, an Italian and a German bistro/tapas, both were excellent. Also a park with a pond and children's playground next to the hotel.

Last comment, free wifi, worked fine with mobile and tablets, but flakey on my laptop.

Close to the airport--has a shuttle

This is a good hotel for a 1 night stay coming or going from FRA. It is on a nice park, and balconies look out into greenery--very pleasant. The hotel is in a nice (if dated) plaza area (Posthof) with shops and restaurants. We're still raving about the Italian restaurant behind the hotel! Free parking is a bonus.

Underwhelming experience

First of all, the Travelocity listing was inaccurate in several respects. It is listed as less than a mile from the airport--it is at least several miles by taxi and the ride cost 27.50 Euros (around $40 Canadian)--a very unexpected expense since I was led to believe it was much closer. Then the airport shuttle is listed as 10 Euros. It is 18. The hotel restaurant highlights East Indian food and my room was filled with the odor of curry until well past midnight. Even after consultation with the staff, the \"free wi-fi\" would not connect to my device.

The room was very neat and clean, but unfortunately I booked a double room and received a single room. When I enquired about it the manager was not present at the hotel and I was referred to logging a query online. The pillow was very thin. I is a pity, because the hotel is situated in a beautiful park, with lovely house and buildings surrounding it. Food was good at the restaurant.

Convenient for a night before an early flight

Very close to the airport, in a quiet neighborhood next to a park, with several restaurants right next to the hotel, on a pedestrian-only plaza. Room had all the conveniences I needed, including a minibar. Some wear and tear visible, for example on a partly melted hair dryer. Room had an odd smell to it too. Internet worked, parking was free. Overall, a reasonable deal but nothing fancy.

Hotel room was dirty, mildew in the shower and sink. The one men staff at the breakfast room was clearly over worked. Receptionist wanted to charge me twice for the extra foldable bed , which I paid in cash the day before. Great location, park and close to grocery and shopping.

Good hotel in quiet Old Town area, close to restaurants ans shopping. We spend one night before our flight. Room was pretty big and comfortable, great plainful breakfast. But not close to Airport, we paid 30 Euros for taxi, but in the morning hotel provided for us taxi for 18 Euros. And ww booked this Hotel because NON-Smoking room, but some our neighbors smoked so we cannot open our window.

Relaxing location near the airport.

We wanted to stay overnight for our flight the next day, but thought it would be more relaxing to stay a little further out. This hotel is right next to a park, and our room overlooked a pretty square. Places to stroll, eat, some shops, in a quiet area - just what we wanted. The hotel ordered a \"shuttle\" which was cheaper than a regular taxi. Dinner was very good. Staff attentive.

Friendly, Helpful and Professional staff

We stayed with Parkhotel Am Posthof for 2 nights, we found the staff to be friendly, professional and helpful. They assisted us to book a day tour leaving from the city and explained how to get there by train. (Very helpful when you don't speak German!). The hotel restaurant was well presented and the food lovely. We will stay again, when we visit Frankfurt.

In great proximity to the airport

This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel, but when I visit this area again this will be my first choice. The staff were very professional and very friendly. They were there to assist me whenever I had a request.The room that I stayed in was so comfortable and relaxing and the view was especially nice. I would recommend this hotel and also the restaurant served a hearty continental breakfast and the service was excellent. Thank you to all concerned for giving me such a pleasant experience.

Great inexpensive and convenient Hotel

Close to airport and downtown Frankfurt. If you know the train system, it's a relatively easy , inexpensive way to get to and from the airport and / or downtown. A train stop is an easy 10 minute walk to hotel. If not, a cab is 24 euro to / From the Airport. I liked that the Wifi and breakfast was complimentary. Breakfast was a nice buffet of cold and hot food items. Room was clean and staff were friendly and spoke good English. .. were very helpful. A large globus store is a 15 minute walk. I'll stay here again when in Frankfurt.

Overall good experience. Good location away from the airport and easy to get to.
Free parking and free fast WIFI. Free full breakfast was available with very friendly staff. Restaurant on site.
Bed sheets showed some signs of numerous washings and age, could have been replaced. No air conditioning, but room had a fan, still a bit hot however. I traveled with family who felt the rooms were hot with one failed fan that was replaced.
Rooms were spacious enough with single bed and carpeted floors. Shower experience was good. Good water pressure.
I would recommend this place for a short stay.

I was never asked if I wanted a non-smoking room, so assumed all rooms were non-smoking. The room reeked of smoke. We opened the windows all night and kept the bathroom fan running, but it didn't make an ounce of difference. There was no A/C for the room, so if we hadn't opened the windows it would have been stiflingly hot. However, with the windows open we could hear the road noise all night and people in the parking lot until late into the night. We had e-mailed that we wanted to use their free shuttle service, but never heard back from them (even though we asked for a response and gave e-mail address so that we'd know if they could send the shuttle). We therefore took a taxi to the hotel, only to find that they had sent a cab. But since we had no response back, we had no idea where that cab would be, how they would know which flight we were on, etc. The halls also smelled of cigarettes.

Nice hotel near the airport.

We stayed at this hotel the night before we flew home to the U.S. from Frankfurt International Airport. It is very convenient to the airport if you have a car. Parking and a very nice breakfast were included in the price. The hotel is next to a lovely park. Hattersheim is a pretty small town, but it has a few good restaurants. The bathroom was a bit small, but the price was very reasonable. We definitely would stay here again.

The hotel is far away from the city, I don't know if there is a closeby train station. We rented a car, and its really easy to go from the city to the hotel. The hotel has a great breakfast included in the price, free parking and free internet. The internet works a little slow. This hotel offers a great value in a city where all hotels are very expensive. I would stay at this hotel in all my next visits to the city.
The staff at the hotel and restaurant was excellent. No problems at all, always available for anything needed.

This is not a new hotel but it's kept up well. What you get for the price is well worth the Frankfurt vicinity. I really enjoyed being near a big city like Frankfurt but live in a village like atmosphere. This will require a car which I prefer. The parking along with breakfast and internet was all included in the price so it feels much like home. The staff were superbly friendly. The breakfast room has a great view of a greenery along a small pond with ducks.
For food, night life and shopping Frankfurt does the job. But feel free to walk around Hattersheim to see the old town. For shoppers, there is a huge mall nearby (5-10 min) drive to Main-Taunus-Zentrum. Airport is not so far away either. enjoy.

The hotel has a lovely neighborhood - a wonderful church and park etc. The hotel staff is very nice. The rooms can do with modernization surely. It's not too far from the airport and they have an in-house shuttle service which works out very well in terms of convenience and cost effectiveness.

Comfortable stay in a good logistical area. Hotel staff friendly breakfast was an excellent buffet. Nice location for eating and drinking. Hotel has a good size parking lot and offers value for money during my stay

Unfortunately this hotel has had some bad older reviews, which had me skeptical about the quality. But since it was only for 1 night between flights I thought, it would be OK. To my big surprise everything was the total contrary to what was stated in other reviews. The place had been refurbished with a great reception area and clean friendly rooms. The much turned down breakfast buffet was set in the hotel's own Italian restaurant with a great selection of fresh choices of bread, cold cuts, ham, salami, smoked salmon, cheeses, fruits, Italian specialties, cereals, juices, coffee,tea - I bet I forgot to mention some - and the restaurant manager or owner was a very friendly Italian gentleman really making one feeling welcome.

As I found out the hotel has been under new ownership since 2 months, and since I'm in the same business in Barbados, I can only wish them well deserved success
If you come with children, there's a lovely park with playground in the back of the hotel.
Definitely a good place for business travellers with pretty close and easy access to Frankfurt Airport, but also worth to spend an extra night or a few.

Will definitely stay there again!

Very convenient... included complimentary wireless access, breakfast & parking! & Close to the airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff was very courteous & helpful. A great deal! Will definitely stay there again!

Great value.

Friendly staff who try to help, both in Reception and the Restaurant. Great location for the traveller being close enough to the motorways and airport. A very quiet location, so ideal after being in the hustle and bustle of the cities and tourist spots. Rooms are a little small is the only complaint.

Wifi is bad - not for business travels !
Asked if they could work on this - they reset everything but no improvement was made. Also 4G or 5G is not covered so you are blocked. If you like spicy food this is place to be… restaurants serve all kind of Indian food. But bad side the Hotel smells to Indian food in the evening.
