Room & Amenities:
The room was adequately clean but lacked several comforts. The mattress was thin and lacked firmness, with only two medium to low firmness pillows provided. Bathroom amenities included good lathering shower gel, though without any additional vanity items. The towels, while absorbent, were not plush. Water pressure in the shower was adequate with a handheld sprayer but the bathroom lighting was quite dim.
Facilities:
Unfortunately, key features like a minibar, in-room coffee station, and safe were absent. On the plus side, there is a fitness center with basic equipment, such as an elliptical, treadmill, bike, and free weights, complemented by water and towels.
Dining & Bar Service:
The dining experience was a letdown, with only a fast food-style setup and limited variety after 10 PM. Our main course was served cold, necessitating reheating, and a sandwich order was mistaken. Furthermore, the staff, while friendly, seemed inadequately trained for restaurant and bar service. For example, a staff member couldn't open a wine bottle, which reflects poorly on their training. It's crucial for an airport hotel to have well-trained staff ready to meet guests' diverse needs at all times, including a bartender capable of making drinks and handling the bar appropriately, which was not our experience.

The room and bed were good. Check in, check out, bar tabs and food sales all handled by one cashier and the credit card system was having problems. The only food available in the hotel is bar food and they were short on menu items and there are very few food options in the area. The airport shuttle has no place to put baggage , was over crowded. The shuttle dropped everyone at one spot at the airport.

I cannot believe how much I paid for such a disappointing experience at Moxy Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach. The room was unbelievably crude – no table, only one chair. The furnishings were so basic they bordered on uncomfortable, making the room feel more like a dormitory than a hotel.
For the exorbitant price of $254.27 per night, this was utterly unacceptable. There was absolutely no effort to make the space functional or comfortable; it honestly felt like the room wasn’t even finished. How can a hotel think this level of minimalism is acceptable?
The only positive I can mention is that the room was okay clean. However, cleanliness alone does not justify such an outrageous price for what is essentially an empty shell of a room.
I deeply regret staying here and would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and choose a place that provides even the basics – this one doesn’t even come close.

The room was standard, serviceable, no problem. Check in took a long time, and the advertised shuttle from the airport was quick and frequent, but to head TO the airport the shuttles ran infrequently and they were late- not an ideal start to a trip!

What we didn’t appreciate was that they show that they have an airport shuttle for a fee, but it does not show that it only runs limited hours in the morning and the evening, which we did not know until much later when they sent us that info. This hotel not to be confused with another Moxy hotel by the airport, this location further from airport. ,Shower has no door or adequate space, water from shower penetrated under bathroom door into the living area, shoes, socks got all wet, there was phone to notify front desk, notified front desk of the issue after going downstairs and waiting in line, was giving another room no assistance was provided to move from one room to another, checked in around 11:45pm, all settled in another room after w 1:00am.

We found the Moxy a very good value during this particular weekend (NFL Game in Frankfurt). The very small room and bathroom were therefore not an issue. The location of the hotel in Kelsterbach was convenient for us to return to the airport (in a rental car). The 20-minute walk to the S-Bahn was enjoyable. The price of breakfast was also appropriate considering the reasonable room price and the breakfast item selection.

I booked this particular hotel because of the shuttle availability, but apparently the shuttle has a limited timeline. I wish the time line would be posted so travelers make an informed decision. I only use it on my way back as I arrived at 4 pm and the next shuttle was at 6-45 pm.

Check in around 11 pm and the man that was working at the front desk was amazing. I apologize for not catching his name but he had short dark hair with glasses. Made my check in smooth and was able to answer my all my questions. The shuttle that is offered at this hotel is easy to use and clean. Thanks for making this a stress free trip.

The hotel shuttle to the airport was EXTREMELY late. We waited for 30 min in the freezing cold. The hotel doesn’t even have a bus stop with a shelter and they expect you to wait outside until a bus comes and charges 4 euros per person!! I went into the front to ask what the problem was and she was no help. We ended having to take a taxi to the airport. I expect more from a Marriott property.. this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay at Moxy again!

I stayed at at the hotel prior to a flight. I arrived at 9 pm, fast check in , nice lobby, food to purchase 24/7. Room nice , good size and clean . Pillows were same and too hard for my taste, but room, bed etc all clean and felt new. Checkout was fast and friendly too. So can strongly recommend for stay overs prior to flights in proximity to FRA airport

The hotel itself was in good condition and the staff was friendly. My main issue was with the air conditioning which could not get the room below 76 F and was not powerful enough to create any airflow, making the room too hot for me to sleep. In addition, there were odd “design” choices which were impractical like a shower with no door causing water to spray all over the bathroom, a sink faucet that was too far away from the bowl, and no mini fridge.
