Hotel is quiet even with airplanes flying over the property. Nothing to complain. Towels and bed sheets are clean and fresh. A/C works great. The hotel definitely needs improvement on the airport transfer service. We had a scheduled ride to the airport on the first ride of the day at 06:00 AM. The driver did not show up for his shift. Front desk was not able to offer an alternative. I googled the local taxi service and paid for a transfer to the airport. Hotel personnel should be able to provide this taxi service without hotel guests having to call the local taxi company and pay out of pocket.

The receptionist, clearly doesn’t enjoy her job and shouldn’t be the first face that travellers encounter. Slight moan was the Holiday Inn at Dusseldorf Nord City had English language channels. This one had Austrian and French. I know I should learn another language but when travelling with children, it’s a bit annoying.

It good experience, and a nice stay, just keep in account it is not in the Aeroport area, you need to take the train from FRA or another transportation. The hotel has limited transfer service (bus), for the small amount of the pay. I enjoin staying in this hotel. (bonus - free breakfast)

But due to the since Jan 01 2023 parking fee of 12 Euro per night i will consider to switch to another hotel.
By the way the 12 Euro wouldnt be a problem if the hotel would have a shuttle again as it had before Covid but it doesnt !

We haven't travelled in Europe that much - but was surprised there was no ice machine, or coffee machine in the room (it did have instant coffee). Overall a great hotel for the price.

I'm very happy to be staying in the HolidayInn express in Raunheim for business. Great place to crash after a long day of hard work.
My two suggestions are, having a small frigobar would be very handy and also a few more Vegan options as currently they only have a pasta arrabiata in the menu that's suitable for Vegan (by thanks to the lovely vegetarian waiter who recommended it to me).

Great place to stay prior to flight.

Great place to stay prior to a morning flight out of Frankfurt. If you have a rental car, then you just drive it directly (10min) to the airport rental car return. Room very comfortable, beds great, AC, and very clean. Breakfast very nice. Several restaurants nearby.

I've no complaints about the hotel itself. Friendly staff, nice room and decent breakfast!

However the airport shuttle is something that should really be improved for an airport hotel. On my in I had to wait for 40 minutes before I showed up. On the way back to the airport in the morning, I payed the 5 euro fare for the 08:30 shuttle. It showed up at 08:51... Not very professional when you have guests with flights to catch!

We liked that this hotel is brand new with all modern amenities, very clean, friendly staff, good free breakfast, nice location close to the airport, nearby restaurants (walkable). Parking could be an issue. We parked in what seems to be the hotel's parking lot as it's directly in front of the hotel. It turns out it belongs to a supermarket. Lucky for us, it was a Sunday when we stayed there for 1 night and the store was close. So we ended up with free parking. I was worried we could have gotten a parking ticket as we double parked, but not blocking any cars.

Disappointing all around, find another hotel

They charged me twice. On July 12 and August 1,2019 for the same room. Did not have a shuttle to send to the airport to pick me up as advertised and I had to pay 30 euros to a Taxi for 7 km (10 min ride). Food at the Restaurant was poor at dinner time and breakfast was nothing to write home about.

Good price-value ratio. However, we were there in January and the climate control in the room didn´t seem to work very well. The room was extremely hot and did not cool down even during the night. The water from the shower floods a big part of the bathroom even with a small person showering so this design should really be revisited. The computer systems were down at check-in which prolonged that process a bit.
The S-Bahn station is easily reached with a 6-7 minute walk and the line goes directly to the city center. The airport shuttle was punctual and quick.

This property is new so is in top shape. Breakfast is not huge but is was good enough for us. It includes eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, breads , cereals, pastries, coffee and juices. The common areas are very clean. The room is big. The hotel has a supermarket next door, bus stop across the street and metro station 5 mns walking. The airport shuttle is free we you arrive and 5 euros we you leave.
