I was impressed by how large the property is! The staff is very helpful, the room was modern and well-kept. The shower was perfect, and the bed quite comfy.

The shuttle bus was prompt, clean, and safely driven. It was confusing where we were dropped off, but maybe I was told that and my non-existent ability to speak German once again let me down.

Good job, airport hotel!!

There is shuttle bus service going back and forth to airport Every 20 minutes, However there are several breaks at 10am and 8pm. This was not clearly informed. When we were at the Gateway Garden waiting for shuttle for longger than half hour and called the hotel after 8pm several times, no one was answering the phone, When we came back to hotel with Uber and asked the front desk, the lady was not sure there is a scheduled break of shuttle bus service. Other than this unpleasant experience, everything else is up to standard.

What else is there to say? An excellent stay at the end of an equally excellent trip. The stay at the Steigenberger Hotel, so close to the Frankfurter Airport, could only be described in these glowing terms. The only recommendation I have is to start a golf cart service to and from the parking garage; the distance between the two is a bit much for an 83 year old after a five hour long drive.

Everything was in german. Couldn't change TV to English called manager and she came up and stated there is 1 news channel in English. Every hotel we stayed at had English as a choice. They should not be recommended for Americans who do do speak english

Staff were friendly and amazing. The property is convenient and beautiful.
They failed to advise us that the pool was closed (Which is one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the property. In one of the rooms the air conditioner was not working, the front desk worked diligently to fix the situation and changed the room for us. I could tell the technician was giving them \"attitude\" but, I can speak German and called them out on it. The front desk staff were amazing.

Service is not what it was. Being ignored sitting at the bar waiting for a drink. Steam room and pool in the wellness area not working.
No bathrobes in the room anymore. Loose floor tiles in our bathroom. Too bad. We always liked this hotel when flying in and out of Frankfurt.

The climate control was out of commission in my room. I tried to get a room where you could open the window that was not possible. I tried to call down to the desk. They didn’t answer until late at night that have only one restaurant and a huge number of people they used to be at least one of the large one and there’s nothing else close where we can eat so it was not a great stay

Nice hotel close to airport. Shuttle is very convenient as it departs about every 20 minutes. The room was nice, however, the air conditioning did not work as it was very hot in the room. Shower door was very hard to open and close. Otherwise, great place.

From the moment of check in to check out this was an amazing discovery. Service and staff kind generous helpful and friendly. I asked lots of questions and got all my answers with kindness and very helpful responses. I got a late check out and a 20e voucher for the two rooms. Value for money. Breakfast was great with many healthy options !!! Thanks to everyone for making our stay a wonderful time. I will be back soon :))

The Steigenberger Frankfurt Airport has been my go-to stay arriving and departing Germany for years. I’ve had exceptional rooms in the executive tower section, and very nice “business” rooms. To me the breakfast is a highlight. The restaurant options have become more limited especially on weekends. The ability to go for a walk in the adjacent woods is one of the best things about the hotel! Great to get over jet lag. The other great thing at least until this year is the super convenient shuttle bus to terminal 2. With the move of airlines to the new T3, I sincerely hope, no I beg!, that the Steigenberger hotel keeps a Shuttlebus to T3. Because the brand new airport train is horrible!! So staying at the Steigenberger hotel with only a connection to Terminal one will definitely affect the convenience of the hotel for travel. Which would be a shame for such a wonderful hotel with great staff!

Room was very clean and had plenty of room. Unfortunately the air conditioner didn’t work and it was a hot day. We overheard many guests complaining about it. Staff just kind took notes to pass on for the 2 days we were there and complained. They even moved us the first day, but it was the same problem. They don’t have windows that open, so we got stuck in a hot room for 2 night. Other than that the hotel has a perfect location and is very quiet. It’s across from a beautiful park and we just went for walks in the fresh air

Very impressed with this modern and clean hotel. Regular bus transfers to and from the airport (and the other transport links at the airport) were very useful. Pool and Sauna were an added bonus. Staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel and room is amazing - no complaints there. However the service at the hotel bar and restaurant is absolutely terrible. I ordered a tomato soup and a drink which was easy enough - I waited more than 30 minutes for the soup and had to ask several times if my drink was still coming which it finally did just as I was finishing my soup. Then I waited for another 30 minutes to catch my server who kept bypassing me with her back turned to me ... I finally gave up and asked someone at the bar to help me settle my bill which was 30 Euro for an appetizer soup and a single drink. I've been to this hotel several times because the location is perfect and the rooms leave nothing to be desired, it was just a service issue this time around.

Check in was not great. They didn’t even know what VIP status was. The room was basically a bathroom with a bed in it. There were no stirrers or spoons at the coffer bar. The pool looked like a carnival cruise with dudes standing in the water with beer bottles. Bunch of people in the textile free sauna wearing smelly bathing suits.

Really nice hotel avery close to the airport with a shuttle bus should you need it. I had a hire car and the parking is quite handy, just nearby at a public car park. The staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms very spacious and clean and modern. This hotel is nicer that others in the same area and staff much more friendly and professional too.

A few little hiccups. The overhead bed light did not seem to work. The pant hanger clamping did not work.
Please get rid of the muzak in the corridors and at breakfast.
The dinner from the bar was very acceptable.

The room was ok - the automation is great when it works, our Tv and climate controls did not. The window from the hallway into the bathroom is a bit weird, but overall spacious, clean and quiet. The shuttle bus stops at the LH employee garage and otherwise circles between terminal 1 and the hotel butcwithout any announcements, just watch where you‘re getting off.

There were a couple of slightly annoying things this time around. At time of check-in, we must have timed this very badly as there was a massive queue all trying to register at the same time and just not enough staff. (some conference on or something like this!). Secondly the main restaurant (during the middle of the Heimtextil fair was closed - this seemed a bit unusual or was it because the conference required all kitchen staff?? Other than these two points - hotel was clinical / good.

Decent heat only in morning; too cold to take evening shower and had to sleep in sweatshirt. Reception staff too busy with airline crew check-ins to ever answer phone. I think airline crews are their main customers, and they don't have time to deal with one-time visitors If you want a question answered in evening -- like how to find an English-speaking TV program -- you have to wait in line behind check-ins to get an answer. I didn't bother. No answer from housekeeping either, when they forgot to leave coffee pods in my room, or leave soap by bathroom sink (only two bottles of shampoo). Reception said they'd get the coffee for me, but it never happened. I couldn't get internet to work either, but that might have been because I didn't agree to sign up for their hotel membership program.
Room was small, but on the plus side,clean, and nice swimming pool, but too busy in evening for me to use. Free round-the-clock shuttle to airport was also a plus.
All in all, however, one of my least pleasant hotel experiences in a long time.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt due to repeated issues with room condition and cleanliness. Upon arrival, our first room had a dirty napkin and chewing gum on the bathroom floor, only one towel despite a reservation for two guests, and a shower drain that did not work properly. After reporting this, we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also had serious problems: the complimentary water bottle was already opened and partially consumed, the heater did not work, and the bathroom door could not be properly closed. Experiencing basic hygiene and maintenance issues again after a room change was particularly frustrating.

The check in was the worst I have had in over 5 years of staying at this property. On this occasion I was told there was a €50 early check in fee or I would have wait until 15:00 for a regular check in. By 12:30 a manager finally checked me in saying the room I booked was not ready earlier. I was not offered an upgrade and had to ask for the €10 voucher. In the room the shower flooded the bathroom due to a clogged drain. I had to wait for both maintenance to come fix the drain and house keeping to clean up the flood. Another hour wasted for me and no offer of any compensation. I have always enjoyed this hotel but after this experience will never return to it.

The heating system and television didn’t work. The technician couldn’t get either to function. They did provide a small portable heater that did not heat the room adequately. Complained to the front desk but they couldn’t reimburse anything because it was booked over Expedia.

Upon arrival, staff didn’t seem to want to check me in. There were three people at the counter. Only one person made eye contact and greeted me, even though the other two were not doing anything. The direction the person gave me didn’t make any sense. I asked about if this pot was still open. He told me to figure it out. They might be closing soon. I couldn’t find a pool area. I kept calling, but the phone wouldn’t work. I finally realized that I had to take the elevator to level 8 and then the stairs to 9. It was so annoying to try to find on your own.
Finally I got there and had a decent swim. I returned to my room to sleep, but it was extraordinarily noisy. Doors kept getting slammed the workers that were cleaning room would constantly laugh really loud walk around. I heard too much noise that I could not sleep. I would say my experience overall was extraordinarily terrible. I cannot say that I would stay there again.
