Staff kept stating 3 nights were not paid for, only 2. Cannot understand the booking on Expedia that was made for 3 nights. Also asked for additional payment for not having only 1 adult in a double room as per the Expedia booking.

Nice hotel about 5 minutes walking away from a public beach. The athmosphere was very friendly, e.g. providing helpful information on trips and some concert on one day at the restaurant. The pool and bar are not very large but cozy. Even some people from more expansive nearby hotels liked to come there in the evenings. The food was good but prices for dinner changed without annoncement. The rooms are clean, sufficiently large, and nicely decorated. The beds are good as well.
The close-by public beach is not one of the best of Mauritius but enough for some relaxing days. Bus trips to Port Louis and Grande Bay can easily be done by a nearbyby public bus.
Overall, the hotel provides an excellent price-quality ratio.

I would say not worth charges
Hotel was good in shape but toilets were light smelly due to poor ventilation only but were clean. Food was not satisfactory as breakfast buffet was included in stay but it was not a buffet, only bread and fruits were available nothing else and eggs were avl if you ask, they tried to make some indian dishes but made excuses later. Bed sheets are not changed every day but once a week only which i doubt was not changed during my complete stay of 10 days.

lovely little hotel. staff is really friendly, housekeeping staff will not only keep your room clean but it will also brighten your day by leaving numerous local animals made out of towels and flowers on your bed etc. (really cool thing to do). we would really recommend la margarita hotel for its location (300m to the beach), friendly staff and delicious food at their restaurant downstairs. you can also hire a scooter thru the hotel for a very reasonable price if you wish to explore the island on two wheels.

La Margarita was a cozy 3 star hotel but their food menu was very limited, especially the breakfast spread. If someone is staying at this hotel for more than 2 nights(we were put up for 4) with an inclusive breakfast offer, it becomes monotonous to eat the same breakfast after a few days. The room could also be kept cleaner than it was, as there were numerous ants around. But the highlight of the hotel was that the staff was very warm, courteous and helpful, and all the rating this hotel gets is mainly due to their warm hospitality.

J’y est séjourné pendant quatre nuits, et franchement tout était superbe. C’est un hôtel bien mignon le personnel est vraiment d’une gentillesse , convivialité et d’un professionnalisme. il ne faut pas s’attendre à du luxe il faut comprendre que c’est un petit Hotel à taille humaine. L’emplacement permet l’accessibilité par un bus direct pour Port-Louis 20A le bus stop est à 100 m de l’hôtel . Pour aller à dans le Nord (Grand-Baie -Pereybere-Cap Malheureux) prendre le 228 qui passe tout les heures . Sinon faire le changement à Triolet avec le 20A et puis prendre le 82 . En 30 minutes vous êtes soit dans le nord soit à Port-Louis. Effectivement à Pointe aux piments il n’y a pas grand chose à part une belle petite plage avec un beau couché de soleil et des petits snacks mais la journée n’hésitez pas à prendre le bus ! ☺️ le repas du soir était très bon ! Et le petit dej très complet ! Merci à vous

Rigtig fint hotel med det sødeste personale, der skabte skønne rammer for vores uge på La Margarita. Personalet var enormt hjælpsomme og hjertevarme. Maden på hotellet var super lækker og drikkevarerne var billige. Området er ikke noget særligt - meget slidt og fattigt, men autentisk! Ikke de bedste indkøbsmuligheder og stranden er heller ikke den bedste. Hotelværelset var ret slidt, hvilket særligt kom til udtryk på badeværelset og på møblementet. Men alt i alt var vi meget tilfredse med vores ophold.

Hübsches authentisches Hotel in Strandnähe
Meinem Freund und mir was besonders wichtig, nicht in irgendeinem Luxustempel eingepfercht fernab vom wahren Mauritius und dessen Bevölkerung zu wohnen. Wir wollten ein schönes gemütliches sauberes Hotel mit nettem freundlichem mauritischen Personal ohne großen Schnickschnack und tagsüber das Land erkunden. Genau das ist uns mit dem La Margarita gelungen. Hotel und Zimmer sahen aus wie auf den Bildern, das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich (insbes kein Andrehen von überteuerten Touren). Wir kamen am ersten Tag viel früher als angekündigt und bekamen sofort einen Kaffee und ein sauberes schönes Zimmer zum Ausruhen. Man hat sich sehr bemüht um uns und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist hier mehr als in Ordnung.

Zwracam uwagę na posiłki. Śniadania są co prawda w formie szwedzkiego stołu, ale to jest raczej namiastka. Na śniadanie składają się - pokrojone owoce, jogurt - czasami, chleb tostowy, sok pomarańczowy oraz na życzenie omlet. Tyle. Kolacja w tym obiekcie jest serwowana - i składa się z przystawki lub zupy, dania głównego oraz deseru.
Hotel jest obsługiwany rodzinne, i tam wszyscy robią wszystko. Pokoje trzyosobowe mieszczą się w jednym pionie i posiadają jedno małe okno przez które praktycznie nie dociera światło dzienne.

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem Hotel. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub und die Leistungen und Freundlichkeit des Personals ist unschlagbar. Wer ein kleines ruhiges Hotel etwas Abseits des Trubels (falls es solchen auf Mauritius überhaupt gibt) ist hier genau richtig.

La Margarita est un hôtel simple, familial et confortable. Sans luxe tapageur, vous êtes accueilli par Monsieur Amal et son personnel dans une ambiance bon enfant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petits déjeuners (gargantuesques) et la cuisine mauricienne : des plats simples mais très parfumés et très copieux. L'hôtel est très propre et si la piscine peut sembler un peu petite, elle était pour mon mari et ma petite fille de 3 ans, d'une taille idéale. Loin du luxe impersonnel des grands hôtels, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.
Un seul (petit) regret cependant... que nous avons signalé à Monsieur Amal : nous aurions souhaité avoir davantage d'éclairage dans la chambre pour pouvoir lire le soir.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans prétention qui pratique des prix très corrects. Un exemple ? un mojito payé 200 roupies à La Margarita est facturé 420 roupies au Méridien qui est juste à côté...
Une dernière chose : Monsieur Amal nous a concocté une excursion taxi-catamaran-Ile aux cerfs pour un prix très raisonnable (environ 40 euros par personne, sachant qu'il y a 1 h 30 de route, que l'on mange sur le catamaran, que les boissons (même alcoolisés) sont à volonté, qu'on y danse, que l'on nous dépose à l'ile aux cerfs où une plage merveilleuse de propreté et une eau très chaude nous invitaient au farniente...: une très très bonne journée que nous recommandons. Un superbe séjour en définitif : notre petite fille Nina était ravie.

assiettes pas du tout copieuses petit déjeuner très simple buffet inexistant. Une fois sorti de l'hôtel c'est la zone. La plage n'est pas loin à pied mais pas terrible. Loin des clichés. Bei Ankunft war das gebuchte Zimmer nicht verfügbar, man wollte uns ein kleineres andrehen. Erst nach energischem Widerspruch wurde Abhilfe geschaffen.

Das Hotel ist guter Mittelstandard, das Frühstück nicht zu empfehlen, lieber auswärts an Strandbuden essen, günstiger und authentischer :)
