Villas Mon Plaisir is a little gem in a run down area. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was very well prepared and tasty. The rooms were clean and perfect for our needs.
The Hotel and additional drinks and meals were very well priced. Overall good value for money.
They even assisted us getting a rental when no one online could assist.
If I could give a recommendation:
1. On weekends the small section of beach infront of Villas Mon Plaisir was share with drunk, noisy unrully local youngsters. Yet there is a huge public beach right next to Villa Mon Plaisir. Limit access on weekends.
2. There is a huge old catamaran lying right infront of the hotel. It is being taken apart. Rubble and junk are lying all over. Remove and clean up.
3. Make a designated area for Villa Mon Plaisir guests only.
4. Spruze up the water sports and advertise more.
5. Found the Spa prices very expensive.
The Hotel and additional drinks and meals were very well priced. Overall good value for money.
They even assisted us getting a rental when no one online could assist.

Spent a pleasant week at Villas Mon Plaisir. Very good value for money. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff esp Karishma on reception! Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff. Stayed on B&B basis. Wonderful beach sea view in front of hotel. Would recommend esp after renovation in June!

Stayed on 2 of 6-nites booked as unable to locate the place on arrival day due to pot-holed dirt driveway with hotel sign pointed in opposite direction from the way we arrived and no one in vicinity ever heard of the place.

Basic items like sugar and milk were difficult to get in the room. Have provided a kettle, but no sugar & milk. Requested but told kitchen closed. Hotel therefore may not be suitable for Babies if they require milk etc. Also hotel food was not eastern. Even when I bought food from nearest town (10km) away, hotel will not budget to make food hot in microwave indicating kitchen closed. I did say to directly to them that I will give negative rating and they didn't even bother. No microwave in room or reception. Our supper was cold food. Safe in room was locked. Informed reception 3 times to please open safe so that I can use it. On all 3 occasions told they are sending someone to help me open the safe. No one came or even told me they unable to assist. No matches available. No shops nearby. No nightlife around the hotel. Wifi signal in the room was poor. No mirror in bedroom.

Room cleanliness is acceptable for this price range. Foods in restaurant are good and also not expensive. When I first arrived the hotel and during check-in, hotel boss knew I am from Hong Kong and look so tired, he prepared a Chinese style dinner for us especially. Here I must say thank you for his treat! Overall I am very satisfy for the stay!

La chambre avait un balcon privé avec vue sur la piscine. l'hôtel est bien, mais le petit déjeuné n'est pas extraordinaire, c'est vraiment standard. Et si vous partez tôt le matin, vous pouvez demander un panier avec le petit-déjeuner. Panier qui est ridiculement petit (un mini croissant, un mini pain au chocolat, une mini pomme et une mini banane, avec un berlingot de jus de fruit) lors de mon arrivée, il m'a été dit que j'avait seulement payé pour la chambre, alors que j'avais pris la demi-pension (petit déjeuner et repas du soir pour 50.00 par jour en plus) alors j'ai dû passer du temps à la réception pour régler le problème. Une fois le soir venu alors que je mangeai ma salade du buffet, une serveuse et venue me demander le numéro de ma chambre, quand je lui l'ai donné, elle m'a dit que je n'avais pas le droit de manger. (LA HONTE, en plein milieu du restaurant. Nous avons dû aller à la réception pour régler (encore une fois) le problème.... et pour info, avec la demi-pension, vous n'avez pas le droit à une boisson, même pas un soda lors du repas du soir. c'est vraiment dommage. le reste du séjour s'est très bien passé. bons souvenirs. belle ambiance. Piscine chauffée. par contre la plage est pleine de cailloux, chaussures pour l'eau vraiment conseillées. essayer de prendre le bus, (il y a un arrêt juste à côté de l'hôtel) et c'est une expérience vraiment pas cher en comparaison du prix des taxis.

Cinque stelle meritate, faccio prima a commentare quelle che per noi sono gli aspetti negativi: il mare davanti è pieno di scogli, è complicato farsi il bagno, ma questa è una caratteristica di tutto quel tratto di litorale per almeno 3 km. Se hai una macchina noleggiata, con pochi minuti arrivi a delle spiagge splendide della parte nord-ovest. Reception sorridente e gentile, la crew della cucina fantastica, il cibo veramente vario e ottimo. Il resort è piccolo ed intimo, siamo stati veramente bene. Parcheggio gratuito davanti l’ingresso, sotto la pineta. Grazie

Séjour en demi-pension boissons non comprises du 16 au 20 octobre. Belle chambre à l'étage, propre, bien équipée, bonne literie et salle de douche/wc très correcte. Bon petit-déjeuner notamment avec des fruits.
Au dîner, un choix assez modeste mais on y trouve parfaitement son plaisir avec des salades gouteuses, des plats chauds très bien cuisinés (notamment le calamar) et un unique gâteau mais lui aussi de très bonne qualité (notamment un excellent millefeuilles).
Le vin au verre est servi généreusement. Au bar, il faut oublier les cocktails et même le petit punch qui n'ont aucun goût ! Par contre vous y trouverez des alcools de grande marque qui eux sont agréables à boire (avec modération). En cette période nous avons pu stationner notre voiture devant l'hôtel mais ce doit être compliqué en haute saison. La plage en elle-même est étroite et impossible d'accès à une personne à mobilité réduite car en contrebas de l'esplanade arborée située devant l'hôtel. Sur cette esplanade ombragée, l'hôtel a disposé quelques transats en plus ou moins bon état et il est déjà compliqué de pouvoir en trouver un de libre. Par contre on y trouve quelques détritus et surtout juste à coté, l'épave d'un catamaran complètement disloquée dont les débris jonchent le sol !!! Il y a mieux comme décor.
Mais cette situation est à l'image des deux plages publiques de Pointe aux Piments, lesquelles sont des dépôts d'ordures à ciel ouvert.

moi j'ai que du positif ,le petit déjeuner top , le dîner top, avec un réveillon de la saint sylvestre extraordinaire,petits fours, champagne,toutes sorte de grillades,et surtout le personnel qui s'investissent c'est trop top, pas de mots. sauf quelques petits incivilités venant d'un petit groupe mais moi j'ai déjà préréserver pour mess prochaine vacances.

Ett mycket prisvärt familjärt, hotell nära havet. Trevlig hjälpsam personal. Rummens standard är helt OK. Maten var mycket god och bufféerna var variationsrika med olika teman under perioden vi var där. Hotellets läge vid havet är bra, dock är stranden av den steniga karaktären så badskor är att rekommendera. 15 min med lokalbussen norrut tar dej till en av de finare vita sandstränderna, Mon Choisy, på den nordvästra sidan av ön.

Loman päätteeksi yövyimme Villas Mon Plaisir - hotellissa. Alku lomasta oli ollut seikkailua ja hyvää erilaista ruokaa, joten puffee aamiainen ja illallinen olivat pettymys. Aamupalan olimme tilanneet etukäteeen ja söimme sen, illallisen nautimme ensimmäisen illan jälkeen kylillä. Sieltä löytyy mielenkiintoisia paikkoja mautitiusliasen tapaan. Kevyt-lounas tosin maistui allasbaarissa, aikataulut olivat tiukkoja ja meillä oli hieman vaikeuksia ehtiä paikalle ajoissa.

Très bel hôtel le gros soucis c'est la wifi pour les personnes qui aiment internet ce n'est pas une bonne idée le beug, le beug constamment. Petit dej buffet généreux par contre le repas c'est gastronomie le midi prix dans le norme par contre le soir c'est buffet pas beaucoup de choix un cari de thon curry, un poulet curry Er plusieurs légumes curry encore et encore curry pour ceux qui n'aiment pas il n'y a pas de Resto dans ce Cartier ni boutique hôtel pour végétariens simplement et les campagnards sinon agréable et très propre

L'hotel est calme et bien situé. Nous y avons séjourné 4 jours , le personnel est à l'écoute et très aimable. La plage est à proximité, pas de route à traverser. Les exterieurs et la piscine sont très bien entretenus et très agréables. Il est très agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner face à l'océan.

Lovely pool area and right by the beach
We had a nice stay at Villas Mon Plaisir and were welcomed with a refreshing drink. We enjoyed the breakfast, pool area and buffé.
There are not that many restaurant alternatives nearby so it's best to take the bus or taxi to Trou aux Biches.
Only downside, bathroom could do with some freshening up as well as towels.

La posizione del hotel è buona e in riva al mare; ma è l unica cosa per cui merita andarci.
Le camere sono piccole 12mq, con un solo armadio e una sedia di plastica per appoggiare le proprie cose, tutto deve rimanere in valigia in quanto non si sa dove collocarlo.
Il materasso è discreto ma le lenzuola e il set del bagno sono vecchi e consunti.
Strutture: piscina ok, teli da bagno sono la prima volta gratuiti ma si paga 50rupie a telo ogni volta che si cambiano!
Arredamento ambienti comuni vecchio e sporco, senza nemmeno un ventilatore per rinfrescarsi essendo open air!

Le séjour s'est bien passé mais par contre je trouve qu'au niveau des repas il n'y a pas assez de choix pour le soir car sachant que ma fille ne mange pas n'importe quoi il faillait dire depuis le matin ce qu'elle désirait manger. Pour moi il fallait faire en buffet tous les soirs. Pour les enfants les jeux il n'y en a pas cela aussi était un problème. Il faut tout prévoir avant de faire son voyage sinon les enfants s'ennuient. Si on prend le bus il faut savoir quel bus prendre. Le point positif c'est que l'hôtel nous délivre cela et s'est très bien. Pas assez d'activité nautique aussi. Dommage
