The grounds were clean and spectacular, and the room was fantastic. We had a garden with a partial ocean view, which was very private. We loved the different pools, restaurants, great drinks, and excellent food. The staff were outstanding, the service was superb, (the bellman Arnulfo [blue eyes] was helpful and stepped up to help out with transportation).
Housekeeping noticed that we were celebrating a birthday, and they had a pleasant surprise in the room, complete with balloons and a \"Happy Birthday\" sign. That made the day even more special; it was just beautiful! Can't wait to go back.

We stayed for four nights and appreciated the resort’s spacious grounds and variety of activities, which made the stay engaging.
That said, certain aspects could be improved to meet the standards guests might expect from a luxury property. The facilities, while functional, show signs of age. In-room drinking water came from large dispensers rather than branded bottles, and replenishment could be timelier. The breakfast buffet offered a limited selection, and fruit service, though attentive, was sometimes slow, with occasional quality inconsistencies.
Staff interactions varied — some were warm and proactive, while others appeared understandably tired. Overall, the experience felt more restrained than the generous, high-touch service often associated with high-end resorts. With a few updates and operational adjustments, the property could better reflect its luxury positioning.

Four Seasons Punta Mita: A Mixed Experience

Our recent stay at Four Seasons Punta Mita left us with mixed feelings. While the resort's beauty and the exceptional staff were highlights, we encountered a few issues that detracted from our overall enjoyment.

The pool area, despite its stunning appearance, presented some challenges. We noticed algae at the bottom of the main swimming pool**, which made the surface slippery and a bit concerning. Additionally, a pronounced sewage smell was noticeable even when we were in the main pool, which was quite bothersome. We also felt the pool area was understaffed, making it difficult to get assistance when needed.

On a very positive note, the staff was truly amazing. Jonathan by the pool and our concierge Patricia deserve special recognition for their outstanding service and attentiveness. Their dedication significantly enhanced our experience.

Unpleasant fiasco from start to finish.
Sadly upfront paid 11.000.00 to Expedia, for four days accommodations at the Four Seasons Punta Mita in Rural Mexico. And my DRAMA began.

Contacted the Four Seasons concierge to arrange airport transfers directly with the hotel for security purposes, nine emails later and 10 pm the night before my trip called the hotel for an answer and see is such service was posible.

Booked an island four hours private boat tour, with hotel pickup , an hour to my departure, a very rude, incompetent staff from concierge called to change my pickup location, I didn’t feel confortable or safe changing my pickup location, the staff just said they where not to refund my $800 for the booking.

I went down to the pool are as that was the only thing to do at the resort, the beach was rocky and the water was extremely cold, at that point I decided to cut my trip short by one day as I felt trapped and the best choice was to return back to the USA.
Contacted the front desk and conveyed to them my desire on leaving, they said they cannot refund the money for the remaining day of my trip, contacted Expedia and they refused to help me out.
The Four Seasons Punta Mita is nothing but an American TRAP in Mexico, definitely a place to never return…

Insanely expensive for Mexico in the low season

I know it’s Four Seasons but at 2k a night in the slow season in Mexico the price doesn’t add up. We could have stayed at any Four Seasons in the world for less. The price doesn’t add up. I stayed at St. Regis next door a few years ago for a third of the price. Also they gave us pushback when we asked for a 3 hour late checkout on our last day when we had been rained out one day of our stay and missed most of the first day from being stuck in customs. they tried to tell me they had too many incoming guests but the whole resort was dead the entire time we were there and we were checking out on a Sunday. After I questioned them they spoke to a manger and reluctantly accommodated. Not what I would expect from a slow and extremely expensive 5 star resort. Their spa services were stripped down 50 and 80 minutes instead of the standard 60 and 90 minutes, but it was still $1,000 for two 80 minute massages with tip.I filled out a long form telling them what areas I wanted them to focus on and they ignored it. I have had better massages for longer and cheaper at 5 star resorts in Orange County. Overall the resort is really nice and they were on top of the concierge service but I was not happy with the price and also the pushback on late checkout.

By far the best place to stay in Punta Mita! Gorgeous property, attentive and friendly staff. Pool water could have been more of a refreshing temperature, a little on the warm side considering the heat and humidity this time of year. We did pivot to the lazy river several of the days and that was relaxing and refreshing. The new Dos Catrinas restaurant and bar are amazing! Live music in the evening. The setting at Bahia was perfect and the food and beach view amazing. It was our anniversary and the hotel sent a bottle of champagne and chocolates! We also had a lovely set up of chips/salsa/guac and margarita fixings upon arrival SO FUN!

Absolutely incredible resort. 5 star service. Beautifully presented food. Stunning and clean rooms. Everything is just 10/10! By far the best in Punta Mita. Don’t bother staying anywhere else. We stayed for one night and moved on to other 5 star hotels in the area and unfortunately, no one were as great as the Four Seasons. Highly recommend to everyone!

The property was very relaxing. We really didn’t take advantage of the amenities too much but that was partly our fault and that we never received an activities list. I think that the activities should be available on your tv. They had a nonstop continuous loop of one of their bars that should have been a loop of all the amenities at their site and the daily calendar of events

This is one of my best stays anywhere in the world if not the best so far, I was reluctant to spend this kind of money for a short stay in a single week-end but I finally decided to book two suites at Punta de Mita Four seasons and I’m glad that I did and shared the experience width family members. As far as I’m concerned, a well deserved ****** clearly surpassed my expectations in just about all aspects in the hospitality service from dealing with planning my stay, to delivering on them including other amenities and meals and the courteous friendliness of all staff.

This is the 2nd Four Seasons Ive stayed in that is tired/worn out. From the souled upholstery in the lobby to the tired bathrooms, to casegoods that need an overhaul. Also, would have been nice if the hotel would have alerted us that major construction was going on on the property to build a new restaurant. This place is overrated and overpriced. Went to the W for dinner one night and wish I had booked that resort to begin with. Beautiful and uo-to-date. Paid for 3 nights at Four Seasons and left after 2. Was a surprised 50th birthday trip. The only surprise was how far this property has slipped. Service was superior...but for the price, need the eesort to match it. Would not recommend this property to anyone until it has a complete facelift. Sorry Four Seasons..

Very nice luxury beachfront hotel with the absolute best views and a couple of fantastic beaches. Yes, the high prices are more Four Seasons than Mexican, but the service can’t be beat.

Only two of the three restaurants were open during construction, and the food was good but not great. We loved the taco cart during the day and the churro cart at night. The breakfast buffet was very good but a bit expensive.

If you are into a relaxing vacation, but not an exploration trip, this is the place. We will be back.

Went above and beyond to accommodate us. Expedia neglected to mention that the hotel was going through construction and two of its restaurants will be closed. We were woken up daily to construction noise and were not able to switch rooms. The hotel management were extremely accommodating and provided us with breakfast and other services. But we sure hope Expedia did disclose this information prior.

Wow our favorite vacation so far. On par or better than Four Seasons Maui. Staff was incredible. Was able to stay in the suites. Highly recommended. Will be perfect when restaurant opens. Only gripe is it costs $10 for a ride .3 (point three) miles away to little shopping and restaurant area. Like 45 seconds away. Should be a free shuttle. Otherwise paradise on earth - we will back.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and we were thrilled with everything. The staff was extremely accommodating and professional throughout our entire stay. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and ran into no issues.

The property is huge and offers a lot of different activities for both couples and families. Some of the amenities and activities that we did during out stay was play golf, message at the spa, romantic dinner at \"the rock,\" horseback riding (off site) and snorkel. We were so pleased with everyone and everything and can't wait to go back.

Beyond Five ⭐️!

An amazing experience. By far the best resort we’ve ever stayed at. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed making this a true luxury experience. Staff is beyond friendly and attentive. Management is constantly surveying for the guests needs and providing individualised attention. No nickle and diming on such things as water, ice cream, free kids club drop offs, wonderful snacks and alcohol provided in the room daily, grocery delivery, and on and on. But there is no hotel that can boast the kind of service that Four Seasons consistently has. And the location in Punta Mita is no different. Every single staff member - from landscaping to managerial is superb.

I brought my daughter to stay for summer vacation. Four Seasons was a wonderful hotel with beautiful views and responsive service. However, the Four Seasons side is not conducive for surfing so we rented a golf cart from Four Seasons and went to the other side of Punta for calmer water. Golfed at Pacifico and arranged a driver to Saluylita for a day of shopping. Enjoyed our trip

The hotel was gorgeous. Amazing views and the people were so helpful and always made us feel like royalty. Marlem Magana was so amazing and took care of us with any concerns..She went out of her way to make us completely happy and satisfied with our stay. We are going to be coming back to this gorgeous property. Not just for the place but the amazing service that they provided us. Gabriel Meza was awesome. Hector and Juan Manuel at the golf course made the experience exceptional. Daniel at Tamai adult pool took care of us everyday. Everyday a different little surprise.. Fall Break at the Four Seasons

I normally do not write reviews but our experience at the hotel was so positive and special I thought I would make brief comments. The entire stay (5 nights in late September) was great. Every experience with staff or hotel facilities was top notch. While somewhat limited...only 2 restaurants...food was excellent. Room was large and upscale...spa was very nice...property and grounds were some of the best beach views ever. Most importantly...the staff is well trained and do all the little things to give you a superior customer experience.

The fall is off season and the hotel was not overly crowded...we really enjoyed that aspect. The weather was OK...somewhat overcast and showery some days but we made it to the beach all days. Make sure to go to Punta Mita to Si Senors to eat dinner...cool location on the beach and good food.

From the very beginning to the very end it was an amazing stay! The staff was so welcoming and so friendly, even the gardenkeepers say goodmorning with a huge smile!!
Arriving in the room with everything there, also there was an amazing welcome kit for my son!!
Also it was my birthday and there arrived an amazing cake!!
The details were extraordinary!!
The lazy river is great, never seen something like it, nipping a cocktail while floating around with some relaxing music!!
My son loved the kidsclub, but also on the beach the beachtoys, are there to use!
There is nothing to complain in this place, but if we need to make a comment, the food was not bad, but we expected a little bit more.
But we'll come back for sure! Thank you for a great stay Four Seasons ❤️

Everything in this place is top quality, the resort, the service and the beach. Highly recommended! Plenty of things to do.
We spent quite some time at the adult party where we rented a small cabana and relaxed, I recommend you visit the adult pool, and enjoy their hourly amenities. Specials thanks to Hugo who took care of all our needs there.
Our favorite dinner spot was Aramara a Mexican/Asian fusion restaurant who serves the greatest soufflé! We had our favorite server there, Gerardo.
Ofcourse you have to pay a visit to the spa, which is beutiful, and the gym! At the gym there was Alejandro who helped my boyfriend stretch when he got hurt! Special thanks to him!
I can keep going, but the point is that I 100% recommend this place!

This place is very comfortable and old fashioned. The rooms are very nice and the service is excellent. I was by myself there and stood out. Was offered \"reading material\" in a restaurant. The best things were my room overlooking the cliffs of the ocean and the gym. Very nice for families but if you are an active person, you would find a place with a bit more energy. If you want just to relax (and golf), this place is for you.

Paradise in Punta Mita

Everything was perfect. Relaxed check-in with drinks, room was ready and had Champagne waiting, room opened up to the beach, all facilities were spotless, meals and service were punctual, all personnel were happy and greeted us by name.

Paradise found!

If you're looking for paradise, look no further! From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, my experience at the Four Seasons Punta Mita was nothing short of spectacular! Punta Mita is a gated community and it feels as if you're entering an enchanted forest when you drive through the main gate. I was blown away by how beautiful the grounds were! The property is huge and, if you don't want to walk the grounds, hotel staff in golf carts will take you everywhere. Tips are never expected but always appreciated. The rooms were stocked with everything from bug spray to bottled water to fresh fruit and more. Oh, and the beds are heavenly! The resort offers just as much for kids (a lazy river pool, a Kids Club, a gelato shack and more!) as it does for adults. Safety and the water are always two concerns when traveling to Mexico. Neither are issues here. Punta Mita is VERY safe with each person being accounted for as you enter and leave. Bottled water is stocked in the rooms daily and also provided at the pool. All of the water at the resort is filtered. If I had to think of anything that was less than perfect, the only thing are the front doors in the rooms. Mexico - and pretty much any tropical location - has its share of bugs. There is no weather stripping on the doors so bugs are free to come and go - and they do!

If you have the opportunity to stay here, book your trip NOW! The Four Seasons Punta Mita is heaven on earth! I'm counting the days until I can return.

The hotel is spectacular but it is NOT kid friendly at all. It is very lay back and mellow the ambiant is not for preteens & teens.

Ambiance + Service = Paradise

What more can you say about The Four Seasons Punta Mita? The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, spacious and have an amazing view, and the pools, beach, food and activities are excellent!
