This place has a little something for everyone. You want entertainment - they have it, you want sports - they have it, you want to be lazy - they will support you in that too.

We were there during “dark sunday” and we were safe. The crew there made you feel like everything was business as usual. They all did a great job and I did my best to try and be a bright face for them as well.

Things I wish I knew before my last day:
1) Apparently we could have ordered a different pillow
2) the buffet has a featured item that isn’t on the buffet line
3) can’t use cash to pay for “premium menu” items at restaurants

Loved this place, the painting crew (Daniel I think) was awesome, animations crew was great! I’m sure I’ll be back!

The resort is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and most of the bartenders and general staff were great. However, the front desk staff could be more courteous and efficient. Check in and checkout both took about 30 minutes due to long lines, and the staff seemed impatient.

After check in, we were sent to guest services and invited to a “quick meeting” that turned out to be a timeshare presentation, which was not clearly explained upfront. The presentation ended up taking about two hours and felt very pushy after we said no. We were promised free massages for attending but were told the spa was fully booked, so we could not use them and were given $100 instead, which does not match the value.

The food also needs improvement in variety. Breakfast and lunch options were repetitive, and dinner requires early reservations, with some better items costing extra, which does not feel truly all inclusive. The resort is very quiet with little nightlife, and most activities end by 9 PM, so it feels more geared toward older guests. For the price paid, the overall value did not meet expectations.

I had a good stay. The staff was welcoming the only thing was I booked an ocean front room with two Queen beds how ever when I checking they have me a guarden view with a king. Because they didnt respect what I pay for. The next day they move me but just to unpack and pack to be move.

From the moment we arrived the welcoming staff were excellent and the check in went quick and smooth. The resort was the perfect size for what we were looking for and the food and restaurants were very good. The pools were a good size, varied in temperature and the infinity pool was nice and warm if you preferred a warmer outdoor pool. The beach access was easy to get to from anywhere on the resort and the beach itself was beautiful and great to walk on with no concern of debris, garbage or seaweed. The drink service was good from any of the pools or beach and the alcohol was premium caliber.
We also booked a couples massage and it was possibly one of the best experiences either of us have ever had. As someone who enjoys the gym as well, the amenities at the resort sufficed my needs perfectly. Great place to go all in all.

Private beach is idealistic-- white sands, beautiful view of ocean, big waves, lots of seating.
Pools are warm and there always seems to be helpful staff around to grab drinks or extra chairs.

The property was not adult only as advertised when booking. The smell of sewage and the lack of hallway cleaning was evident. We were lied to by beach staff Jamie that he had no beach loungers and I had to storage room and get my own to the beach.
This resort claims to be a 5 star but at best it’s a 3

Was worried about the kids now there, but most were good. I still worry about their safety in the infinity pool and all those stairs.

Mediocre at best. The stay got off to a rough start when the coffee shop served instant coffee and used Hershey’s syrup for hot chocolate—never a great sign. The restaurants were clearly understaffed, leading to long, unorganized wait times, and the buffet offered very limited options. To make matters worse, there was construction going on at night, which made it hard to relax or sleep. There was no real entertainment, and activities for kids were extremely limited. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the price or the hype.
To end things on a positive note, I haveacknowledged that staff was very attentive and courteous.

The horrible road into the resort made us feel immediately fearful wondering where we were being taken. Man who \"checked us in\" was on a sell-mission, trying to get us to sign up for an excursion where time-shares were being sold. He talked SO fast and just circled things on a map, we didn't know what was happening. We were EXHAUSTED and did NOT appreciated this. The room smelled danky every day. WE had to empty the dehumidifier several times daily. The shower fan did not seem functional. The volume (noise) of the dehumidifier and the air conditioning was beyond tolerable and we had to turn both off at night and increase the ceiling fan. The \"refresh\" of the room amenities was never complete (coffee not replenished, coffee-mate never replenished), room balcony facing the west was intolerably hot (there's no shading, pull-down blind) so you can't sit out on it in the afternoon and the furniture so heavy making it super difficult to adjust chairs to sit in the small amount of shade at certain moments, entertainment non-existent (Fireshow pretty good though), chances of finding a conversational English speaking person is extremely small, Mexican night at the buffet was disappointing (no English speaking staff to tell me what things were), no burritos or Quesadillas and no Mariachi band - EVER - ANYWHERE (not even a Spanish-influenced guitar player ANYWHERE), the head-banging modern \"mixing\" of offered music was nauseating, swim-up bar was NEVER open. Property and beach were beautiful. Food and pools were great. Things that were lacking were activities for older kids and it was hard to control humidity in the room which meant air was musty smelling and things were damp. Apparently this only happens in some rooms and others are fine. This hotel is quite isolated and taxis are needed to explore off the resort. Otherwise a wonderful relaxing experience with kind and attentive staff.

Absolutely enjoyed this place! The view, the well manicured grounds, the pools, beach just steps away made this an ideal place to relax and enjoy the views! A very attentive staff that made our stay fantastic! I have only one complaint, and that is more to the initial description of the Hotel on Expedia, that it was an Adult All Inclusive. It was a great All Inclusive but there were several families with kids. Although the kids were all great and we had a wonderful time, Expedia needs to remove the Adult Hotel description.

All inclusives sometimes make me nervous about the food / drinks / service but all were amazing. The poolside food service had a large variety of food that was good! Not just the typical burgers and hotdogs. The drinks were real drinks with legitimate alcohol brands and fruit. All the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The only note would be that they do not offer a lot of a la carte restaurant options but that did not matter to me and my family. We ate well at the buffet and had no issue with it. Overall I would definitely stay here again!

The beaches and views are fantastic, one of the best in the bay.

Getting pool chairs needs to be done before 8:AM as there are a lot of campers. This is common for big box resorts.

House keeping was not consistent on replacing coffee supplies we had to call to ask for in room coffee many times.

There weren’t many places that had air conditioning and both restaurants required reservations. We were there for 7 days and the roof top restaurant which was very nice was only opens once.

If you want fantastic beaches with kids this is likely your place. If you want a stepped up VIP experience I would recommend their sister property in Nuevo Vallarta called Marival Distinct.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Has small resort feel which is good and bad at times. Pools are beautiful with amazing views, not overly crowded. Not a lot to do in the evenings and a 30-45 minute Uber to any city. The nightly events at the resort seemed to be lightly attended by 15-20 people max, sometimes less. Pretty limited restaurants for dinner. Only 2 you make reservations for and 1 you can just show up (The Blend). The buffet only has dinner on Saturday, just breakfast and lunch otherwise. Can always get room service for meals.

Property was very clean and well maintained, staff is very friendly and ready to bring you anything needed. Average guest age was 50 if I had to guess.

One thing we didn't like was the pushy sales pitch when you first get there. Haven't even seen anything but a lobby and they were very pushy for us to sit through a sales presentation about membership. Would not take no for an answer. This process could be improved.

Beach is pretty and allows for long walks. Felt very safe but my Airpods did go missing from our pool bag on the last day when our bag was unattended (maybe when we were at the swim up bar or beach) which was pretty disappointing.

I did leave an honest and fair review upon arrival about my check-in experience and the personally found me at the pool to apologize and make it right. Sent a bottle of wine, chocolate strawberries and hand written note which was very much appreciated and above and beyond. I would recommend this resort.

Good - Beautiful resort with very welcoming staff. The views were gorgeous and the rooms met our expectations.

Bad - Access to hydrotherapy was an extreme extra cost. Access to hot tub/jacuzzis were extremely expensive, there are no others on the resort to use if you are not a member. The store is expensive, with no other options close by they inflate the prices of everything to take advantage of this.

Timeshare/Membership is a nuisance. We did accept the presentation for some free massages (price per massage at the resort is $189 US was the cheapest one). As soon as we declined for the third time there tone completely changed, horrible sales people.

Limited food options. For dinner there are a couple places to eat but only one place rotates there menu (there is only 2 options though).

I didn’t understand why I always had to provide my room number, sign a check and leave a tip if I was staying at an all-inclusive resort and was wearing a wristband to show what I had already paid for. I didn’t like being convinced to sign up for a time share talk in the first 30 minutes of arriving. The staff acted
Like they were going out of their way to provide extra services for us, but the truth is that we were put in a room with two double beds when we reserved a room with a king bed, the room didn’t have the beach bag that they said every guest could use during their stay, there were limited options for dinner, and I felt like I always had to tip the staff for whatever they did. I also felt the restaurant staff at each place we ate was understaffed and we waited quite a time to be served or even given menus.

Beautiful lush tropical grounds, and our king suite was large, well appointed and very comfortable with an excellent ocean view (which of course we paid for). Upon check in, be aware they’ll try to book you for the standard “timeshare” presentation. In addition, our tower 4, 2nd floor room was right across from a major construction improvement, which I only wish we’d have been made aware of, as it made siesta quiet nap afternoons impossible. I’m sure we wouldn’t be the only ones to point out that the main pool loungers are woefully inadequate, leaving more spots for “member owners” only. The daily buffet selection and staff were top notch, as well as the two reservation-only dinner restaurants. This place is truly a paradise, with a wonderfully walkable shoreline and beach location.

Loved the twice daily yoga classes, the infinity pool, beach, buffet breakfasts, full ocean view king suite. Didn't like the lack of nightly entertainment, no night club, the buffet was closed on most nights, the lack of dairy free choices on the restaurant menus as most items contained cheese, didn't like all the up charges on the menus. There should be more cardio fitness classes such as Step & Zumba. The one line dancing class was canceled. The ice bath challenge was unsanitary, using the same bath water for every participant. ,

The resort and location was beautiful, however we had a good size suite but nothing in the refrigerator or snacks it was nit stocked by the time we entered our room. I was made aware that i should of had snacks and beer by the other 8 people i traveled with. Also the inconvenience of not having reservations for 10 people at essence restaurant. We had to bribe the concierge person and we were sat inside where the kitchen and staff are. Everyone else was dining outside. The service was slow, the drinks and food took forever.

My wife and I have been to the Armony four times. We really appreciate the adult only environment. The food is amazing. The staff and service are wonderful. We especially love Jaime down at the beach, Daniel in the bar, all the gals at the buffet, and DJ Willy on the beats. The rooms are truly spectacular. However, I always end up getting a suite for the extra room. I've been in three different rooms so far and the garden view is a good mixture of affordability and spaciousness. If you enjoy luxury, a laid-back environment with good music and amazing views look no further than the Marival Armony. PS. You won't find a better beach in Puerto Vallarta

Most of the staff were nice and friendly. The sales team is very pushy and can't take no for an answer. We felt followed and hounded to buy into their timeshare. We initially listened to their sales pitch for the free massages, but it was not worth it. Don't get pulled into it. They bothered us for 3 days trying to get us to buy into it. That ruined our trip, it wasn't a nice getaway. We won't be going back there.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Armony Adults-Only Resort! The property was spotless, and the staff were genuinely exceptional, going above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The heated main pool was a highlight for us, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind. One of the most magical parts of our stay was spotting whales almost every day—it truly felt like a dream.

A special shoutout to Brenda, who led the activities with so much energy and enthusiasm. She made each activity enjoyable and added a personal touch to our stay.

Upon arrival at the airport we were subjected to high pressure sales for additional activities. We signed up to to go on a tour the following Monday (we arrived on Saturday) We repeatedly asked about a shuttle to the resort. We were sent from place to place and person to person. We decided to take a taxi. $130 was to cost to the resort. If we had known all the trouble and stress and BS we would to endure we would have gladly paid the $130 to avoid the whole situation. When we arrived at the resort everyone was very nice and welcoming. We checked in and were introduced to a nice lady who w asked us about our airport experience. We told her about our disastrous airport experience. She told us they would take care of it and offered us massages and hydrotherapy sessions on the resort. We took it as them wanting to make what happened at the airport right. We would need to attend a short presentation about a new program they are starting. We agreed. The presentation was the following morning. We arrived a few minutes early and had some coffee while waiting. When the presentation began , we were dragged from one end of the resort to the other and back again. We ended at one of nicer restaurants and where AGAIN given a very high pressure sale to buy into there new program. We immediately told them we are not interested. We are not buying. We stayed here for our honeymoon & let me start by saying we will be back!!
The property, food and service were amazing!
We started our stay in a large suit and noticed a slight mold smell and had to move rooms for the night to have the issue resolved. The staff took care of us & made the swap amazing and smooth and we ended up having an uninterrupted ocean view and it was a dream!!
This is our favourite resort ever!!!

The property was really nice. The staff however needs some serious work. The desk staff showed no urgency. It took us nearly an hour to check in. We had issues getting clean towels in the room and it seemed nearly impossible to get towels or any service on the beach. The staff that runs the surf shack kept trying to charge for things that were included which really bothered me. The wait staff at the restaurant were actually really good but beyond that almost every interaction with staff was a negative experience. For what we spent to stay here I would have expected them to treat us well, I expect that from this level of resort. We will most likely not return due to service.

Gorgeous Infiniti Pool. Pool is heated and its needed this time of year in the mornings...love this touch. Beautiful Resort. Staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Octavio was great and we loved Antonio in the pool area who served us drinks and lunch around the pool. There are several pools to choose from but the infiniti pool is top notch. This resort was very reasonably priced compared to other Adults Only resorts in the area. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 25th anniversary. Its not 1

Hidden hotel charge

I booked a room here for 1 night stay. I did mistakenly check only 1 guest instead of 2 when booking however nothing was mentioned at check in that there would be an extra charge for all inclusive for my wife and then when we check out got hit with another $348 charge. Nothing was mentioned about an additional charge on the website either because would have chosen another location if I have known about an extra charge. They couldn’t explain where they came up with this number. Really poor considering nothing was mentioned at check in or the website so had no idea of any extra charges. Zero explanation how the $348 charge was calculated

This property was a great staycation with everything all inclusive. Felt so comfortable doing everything and was always treated kindly. Only “bad” thing is that it’s far from the “downtown” area to visit but the resort had everything we needed and wanted.

The property is nice but when something goes wrong that’s when you know how poor the service actually is. Something happened where I was forced to change my travel dates by moving it from Saturday to Saturday instead Sunday to Sunday. What should’ve been a easy fix. Just moving it one day. Turned out to be a nightmare. These things happen sometimes and it’s so unfortunate how the resort handled it. I emailed and called with no response. Expedia emailed and called with no response. Turned out to be so stressful. Our bartender Alejandro was awesome. They did loose a returning guest as I will never return nor recommend this resort.

We have reserved a one-bedroom suite oceanfront (as in Expedia options). We had also requested a top-level corner suite. We were given a corner suite on the second floor of four stories and our oceanfront was replaced with partially Oceanview to the roof of their buffet restaurant. Once we complained, we were shown a much smaller suite Oceanview which we refused. They also said their fourth floor is full, which we found out not only the fourth floor but most of their suites were vacant!!!

They said is not about quantitative but about quality , this resort might not have many restaurants options but what they have is very good , we love the buffet variety, specially the different types of ceviches and tacos and seafood .
Also , the service is excellent. Oh I couldn’t forget to mentioned, you could actually swim in the ocean !
Definitely will come back !
