Carlos nuestro concierge nos ayudó a que la estadía fuera agradable. En general todo el staff desde los meseros en piscinas hasta las hostess en los restaurantes junto con meseros en restaurantes se esmeraron por brindar un servicio de optima calidad!! La propiedad y el cuarto estuvieron siempre limpios y ordenados. Toda la comida fue deliciosa.

We loved this hotel. The customer service and food were amazing.

We stayed for two nights but ended up adding one more night.

Our personal butler, Rousse, was very attentive. Our room was very nice with an amazing view.

The only downside was the plung pool. We weren’t able to enjoy it because the water was not very comfortable and was quite cold.

The rooms are large and well designed. More than one option for pools. The food was excellent and multiple restaurant choices. The staff are cordial and kind.
The only inconvenience was the proximity to towns. It is quite far from shopping and town activities.
With all that said, I would definitely choose to go back there again.

Everything was very good and nice. Clean and nice rooms, very good amenities, nice restaurants with NO need for reservations, no passes required for towels , high quality of food and good brand of liqueurs every time and everywhere. Secretes side is for adults only! The staff incredible! Paty, luis and Perfect in the Pool bars, Aremy and Denise in the breakfast restaurant , and Antonio in the taxi/Lobby receipt area. The only low is the beach that has a lot of rocks and you can not enjoy the sea waves. Very good and enjoyable trim escape for us. We’ll go back again for sure!

I recently stayed at Secrets Bahia Mita hoping for a peaceful, adults-only vacation, but the resort fell short of what was advertised. While the room itself was comfortable, most of the overall experience was disappointing.

The main issue is that the property is not truly adults only. There is no real separation between the family side and the adult side, everything from the main dining areas to shared facilities is open to guests of all ages. Families with children were everywhere, including in spaces I expected to be quiet. This completely defeated the purpose of choosing an adults-only resort. I booked this trip specifically to unwind, but instead it felt crowded, noisy, and far from relaxing. The way the resort presents itself is misleading.

During the day, the atmosphere around the pools was quite dull. There were very few activities, and the music was low-energy and inconsistent, which didn’t create any kind of enjoyable vibe. The resort as a whole lacked liveliness and personality and even then the events themselves felt geared more toward families than adults.

Overall, the resort’s biggest shortcoming is that it does not provide a true adults-only experience. If you’re looking for an adult-focused getaway, this is not the right place. I left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine adults-only vacation.

I booked this resort expecting a true adults-only getaway, but it was nothing like what they advertise. There is no real separation between the adults side and the family side. The main restaurant and common areas were full of kids, which completely ruined the relaxing atmosphere I was hoping for.
The food and drinks were disappointing. The buffet was repetitive and often below average. The restaurants were just ok, and the Asian restaurant required reservations even though it was fully booked through the end of December. Drinks tasted extremely weak, and even the soda and juice were watered down from too much ice.
The room was good, but the water pressure was low and the mini fridge was tiny and barely stocked with just soda, water, and two beers.
There were also no real activities around the pools, just random non-rhythmic music that didn’t help the vibe at all.
Overall I feel misled, because this is not a real adults-only resort. I wouldn’t return and do not recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful adults-only experience.

This is a secrets & a Dreams resort together. One side adults only. The other side families. All the restaurants are for both resorts. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hibachi grill, Bordeaux French restaurant & the Italian restaurant. The food was good. They do have a few all adult pools but you can still hear the kids screaming & splashing. If you are looking for an all adult only resort, our opinion would be to find a different resort.

3.5/5 for our stay. We bumped up our stay to a “preferred” and even then our room wouldn’t be cleaned at a timely manner. We’d come in at 6 / 7 to get ready for dinner — mind you we had been outside enjoying the pools/beach/bars all day thinking by the time we were back our room would have been clean but nope. We were there 5 days & on one occasion the bed was done but the towels hadn’t been replaced, they had just taken the wet ones, another issue we had was they didn’t leave toilet paper on that same occasion. They’re not terrible things but it’s such an inconvenience to have to be calling / waiting for them to bring the items.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and treated like royalty. This is our third time. And with in the last couple years, they've expanded the property built new restaurants to food is impeccable. They have three staff per visitor. It's just one of the most remarkable places in the world and we can't wait to come back next year. We stayed for a total of five days and we plan for saying for 7 to 10 next year!!! heaven is a place on earth at this hotel

My wife and I have stayed at over 30 all-inclusive resorts over the last 20 years. For the most part, we've had great experiences. So it is with great regret that I give this review.

We booked this resort with great hopes. We read the recent good reviews and looked at the pictures. This was a shorter trip, so we were excited about the location and convenience.

We arrived, and was very disappointed. This place is in desperate need of repair.

1. The flooring on the pool deck and throughout the resort is riddled with cracks everyone. Don't get fooled by the pictures.

2. While we were waiting on our room, I decided to take a swim. I noticed that there were chunks of concrete missing from various spots along the pools edge. I also noticed the the gutters were pack with trash. The pool deck itself is not concrete but cobblestone. So there is a lot of dirt and grime that gathers.

3. The area around the poolside bar was packed with kids and it was filthy. We later found out that this place offers day passes which would explain why there were a lot of kids.

4. While in the pool, I noticed the roof of the poolside bar and even the resort itself was missing tiles everywhere. It was very noticeable because it was a clay/adobe stye Spanish roof.

5. We decided to move to the lobby to grab a drink, and while sitting down we noticed that the TV was very small (maybe a 32 inch). I was turned on last week's football game, and the picture was very grainy and snowy.

The food was not good, for the property to disclose good food it was mediocre at it's finest. You had to pay their fee for the infinity pool and if you didn't buy their VIP access you couldn't access it. The restaurants needed reservations, the buffet was ok. I wouldn't recommend this place

The property was extremely clean. The staff was attentive. The rooms are cleaned and stocked throughout the day. Staff come by and check to see if you need anything. I loved that. The all-inclusive part is amazing because the food is actually good! I would call myself a picky eater, and sometimes I’m restricted to eating at these all inclusive resorts because of the lack of variety. I did not find that to be the case here. They have real chefs and they care about the quality of food here. They have a hen house- fresh eggs; they have a garden- fresh veggies! Food was amazing. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. They are aware of the complaints of the hotel (will explain below) and they really try to accommodate/make up for those in my opinion. The skybar was amazing, staff was great, drinks were delicious and the infinity pool up there exclusive to privilege guest was great/away from kids/families at the other property.


Cons: the Secrets and Dreams resorts are separated by a walkway. So while none of the secrets rooms are connected/around rooms where kids are, there are kids in common areas of the property (restaurants, pool, etc.). There are pools exclusive to Secrets side though. The plunge pool in our room is not really a plunge pool. It is not big enough to plunge in, at all. I would not book that room again. The outdoor area where plunge pool is kinda has a stench. I sprayed perfume & hotel supplies incense. Same with shower. Hot water & incense helped with that.

1. SPAAAAAA, hydro therapy amenities were devine. We went back for seconds

2. Fine Dining! We loved all of the options! My favorite was Bordeaux

3. 6th Floor pool along with Olio restaurant were a dream.

4.COFFEE lovers, there are many options at the Cafe. There you can also pick up quick meal and ice cream anytime of the day

5. Hospitality, every single employee was pleasant and helpful

Foods amazing 10/10.one hotel split into two. Secrets and dreams. Looks like a fun place for family vacation. Has slides for the kids sections but not so romantic for adults. Secrets is not completely adult only. It is shared with dreams and you have access to different sections that s available for adults only. Preferred club recommend. A lot of walking and has a lot of sections, you have to watch your step. It’s a weird layout.

Secrets truly made our first all-inclusive Mexican vacation incredible! For my wife's birthday, they went above and beyond, providing champagne and a custom cake. Every dining option was excellent; we especially loved Bordeaux. We also enjoyed a lively Mexican fiesta featuring delicious food and a mariachi band. The pools were great, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making our experience truly memorable. While some reviews mentioned a rocky beach, we found ample space to relax and enjoy it.

The service people was the best part of this trip. Everyone was very friendly and caring, like Jesus at the Barracuda bar and Leo, the mesero by the pool. We felt the music was too loud everywhere. The pictures in the adverts are a little deceiving, to say the least. Our room had a smell, kind of sewer smell, on and off, during the A/C operations, which made sleeping really hard. The food was good, lots of varieties and drinking is always offered and refilled by all the meseros. Maybe we are spoiled, but it was not the best Secrets we'd stayed in. Hope others have a better experience.

This was the best stay we have had in Mexico in every way possible. The food, rooms, service, drinks, options were all amazing. Wish the beach was more swimmable, but the various pools and zones made up for that. We had a memorable and beautiful stay. Spa was worth it too!

I would have given a 5 star review for this property! However, the area labeled \"adults only\" included the Asian restaurant that allowed children! It was not peaceful, kids were loud! Kids played with chopsticks up their noses!
The service was amazing in every direction. The good was incredible in every restaurant.
We booked this place to relax and unwind, the night we ate at the Asian restaurant was extremely not relaxing. We've stayed at other Secrets where there was NO kids at all anywhere! We trusted this to be the same, but no real separation from Dreams.
Our butler was mediocre. Didnt really get the \"Preferred\" service in the club...

A few friends met up to celebrate an upcoming wedding. The service from Secrets Bahía Mita was outstanding. They thought of everything so we didn’t have to. From the moment you step foot on their grounds to the final goodbyes as you leave, they are there for you. A few amazing team members stood out to us. Yessica and Tania from the Lobby bar and Victoriano from the Seaside Cafe made our stay so memorable. Thank you so much for everything!!!

Property was ok beach disappointing we were kept waiting at check in and then put into an awful room not corrected for a couple of days
With exception of Bordeau restaurants were poor at best. Breakfast was excellent. The steak restaurant was the worst steak restaurant I have ever seen. Who wants to pay 144us per kilo for a rib eye. Was not happy. Even the fillet steak was tasteless.

We really enjoyed the multiple pools with lots of semi private areas & of course adults only. The food & beverage options checked our boxes too - quality liquor & several different food spots. Its a big, beautiful property. Staff is super friendly (thanks Ines) and really relaxed. We would certainly go back. Our room was very clean & comfortable.

Beautiful property. However, we did not stay beyond one night due to the noise from the attached family resort. This resort is advertised as adults only, but the property itself is largely family oriented with many young children enjoying the facilities.

I would like to add that it was extremely difficult to leave the property without signing a non disclosure statement. I truly felt like a prisoner as my wife and I tried to leave the day we arrived after explaining our situation to several resort workers

Very little poolside music was played. After 12 for the water aerobics then it was shut off until 4 and played for 30 min. Pool activities were poor. The instructor for the water pole class did not know how to teach it. Offer something else if they don’t know how to teach the class. No fun pool party game: only water poker.
Food was okay but buffet food was always very cold.
The layout concept design was weird and a bit of a miss for us. Everything was situated in the middle with the very little separated dreams from secrets and they would either play music on one side or the other or there was nothing played at all on either side.
We did not have a terrible time but we also would not go back to this resort.

We went for a quick honey moon, all the staff made sure to have details all around, the French restaurant is awesome! And since we’re tight on budget we fell for a “breakfast” to have a discounted spa session, it was a mistake!! We lost 2hrs on our arrival with the lady selling us this… the 3-4 in the breakfast, getting to talk with like 5-6 people, a regular breakfast in the buffet… waste of time, I would have paid the 100 USD they discounted instead of losing all this time… other than this, everything was awesome!

The preferred areas were too crowded, we had to wait up to an hour to be able to enjoy some of these \"exclusive areas\".
The staff was not organized and we could see the stress on the face of the employees dealing with the guests. We even witnessed attitude issues in between employees.
We agreed on a cleaning schedule but the staff did not respect it.
We had an issue with one of the rooms, the main door wouldn't close at all. We reported the issue and once again they had us waiting for a long time.
We stayed the 1st week of october, peak tourist season is supossed to be in between december and march. If we had to wait and staff was overwhelmed, i can't imagine this resort during high tourist season.

The property is beautiful, our room was nice with a view of the jungle. The hallway by our smelled like ammonia or cats if you will so that wasn’t great. Pools were nice but water was a bit murky so felt unclean. Beach area was quite nice as well as gym and activities all great.
Food wise the breakfast buffet was very good and lunch by the Manatee pool was great. The dinner dining options varied from not impressive to decent. Overall a nice stay.

I had my doubts staying at a Secrets but the property pictures look really nice and it was just a few days so decided to try it. Never again. The property is still under construction, at one point we had no running water and our first room the bathroom smelled like sewage. I was promised a refund but never got it. The staff appeared to be nice and helpful but clearly not authentic. Never again. They also try to sell you time share.
