Beautiful property nestled in the jungle with calm and zen vibes. The place is constantly being kept up so it is immaculate. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Lots of walking if that's what you want (10-14k steps in my case), but there are always golf carts ready to take you where you need to go. Food truck was really nice. Only improvement would be to the restaurant options, Salt & Thyme (international/Italian buffet) was a hit with my picky eater but it was only open the last 2 days of our 7 days there. Lastly would be lovely to have a kids corner in the gym so single parents can get a workout in.

Overall we had a wonderful stay, I would recommend and would book again in a heartbeat.

I honestly never leave bad reviews, but o have to for this property. For the price you pay for this all inclusive- you get about 25 percent of your moneys worth. We stayed there for about 5 days after Christmas and this is what happened: every day the unlimited drink places ran out of water or soda or both, the taco truck takes about 45 minutes to get a taco at and the cleanliness is scary, there are piles of garbage all around the resort- in closets that are opened or unused rooms, nobody ever picks up dirty dishes around the pools… at the end of the evening, there are flies, and bees swarming all the piles of dirty dishes. There are about 1/3 of the amount of pool/beach loungers to accommodate the number of hotel guests. You’ve got about 2.5 choices of places to eat all day which gets old real fast. The pantry that is “stocked” has cup of noodles if you are lucky, and a basic bread/ham sandwich. But usually it’s picked clean and there is nothing edible you can grab. The hibachi restaurant has a fixed menu and is a 2/10 experience. Save your money and don’t stay here. We had high hopes, but they fell incredibly flat.

We had a great stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit. All the staff were friendly, and we didn’t experience any inconvenience throughout our stay. The resort has multiple pools, so it never felt boring even after staying for several days. Access to the beach is also a nice bonus—there’s a separate Marriott beach area, which gave us a different atmosphere to enjoy. The food overall was very good as well.

We loved the quiet spaciousness of the pools and property with our kids! The food was wonderful too and we especially loved the ceviche by the pool and lunches at the half moon pool or triangle pools! The buffets were well stocked and had some variety, enough for all 8 of us to always enjoy our meals even if vegetarian or picky kids.

We had a wonderful stay at the Delta Marriott with our family! We were traveling with our two young children (ages 3 and 5), and they had an amazing time enjoying the multiple pools—there was always something fun for them to do.

The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. It truly feels like a family-centered resort, with plenty of activities designed for kids, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We highly recommend this hotel for families with young children. We had such a great time and would definitely come back!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I especially want to give a shout out to Omar. He was always willing to help and has such a glowing personality. The restaurants were excellent. The whole property was like something out of a storybook. I highly recommend this property.

The hotel hit all the marks for what our family was wanting. Its a neat layout, the staff were all so friendly! For us we've been to PV alot.. so we knew it was okay we weren’t on the beach, the shuttle was fast and we didnt have to wait much, once down at the beach the food and drinks along with the service were awesome!

The buffet food was so so but thata resort food, we never went hungry the chicken and beef fajitas were my fav, along with the japanese fancy dinner!

This hotel was like no other a real neat jungle experience.
Having our rooms beautifully cleaned when we came back from being in the sun all day was the highlight alonf with the icecrean machine and the late check out they offered.

Only thing I'd change which wasnt horrible at first... was the music.. maybe have a longer rotation of music and with so many pools offer a different day in each area, like some spanish music. We come to mexico for the spicy culture.

The room was clean and good AC, but a major musty smell. The bed was quite lumpy. The Japanese restaurant was really good. Pools were well maintained. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Big shout out to Nehum, our favorite and best bartender, Omar, Eulyses and others whose names escape me from tower 6 pool area and the beach club staff. Thanks to all staff for keeping us safe and fed during the lock down.

Amazing staff. I've been to many resorts over the years. The staff here is different. Its kinda crazy how good they are. Resort is quiet which we like . Food and drinks great. Clean. The staff is the brst though. We very rarely return to a resort just to see new places but felt compelled to return for a 2nd time and it was as good as the first. Not sure why the staff is so great here but the resort is sure lucky to have such great staff.

This resort has so many areas to relax in. There are pool areas with so much foliage it is like a little oasis. Raised hot tubs and cool pools with waterfalls. The lazy river is fun for all ages and even though we came with no kids, we spent most of our time there. We came on a Wednesday and had an amazing time right up to the P.V. cartel chaos on the Sunday. People were concerned here but the staff were truly amazing through all the uncertainty. Food was a bit different for a couple days after but things are back to normal now. A lot less people then when we arrived so hopefully more people take a chance and book here. It was definitely worth it!

The room was great! The pools were great! Staff was excellent! We had so much fun here for the little time we had. We booked again and can’t wait to enjoy more the amenities - since there is so much to do we are going to stay for longer. I would love to not the 24/7 pantry. It’s such a nice touch that not many (if any) resorts do. Staff was super attentive and always offering food and drinks. We had the opportunity going to the Japanese Restaurant (book ASAP since they are always booked) which was delicious and so fun. The chef was hilarious!

I will say that since the resort is in the mountains it can be a lot of walking for some BUT staff is super accommodating and there is carts always circulating offering rides around the resort.

A few staff really stoodout during our stay and before the cartel trouble began, this review would have talked about many other staff that were indifferent, seemingly poorly trained, and really understaffed. It would have talked about broken ice cream machines and other poorly maintained equipment all over the resort. But since the cartel troubles, many individual staff have been selfless and worked very long shifts while maintaining a smile. These individual staff are sacrificing a lot to make a difficult situation much more relaxed and cushioning us from what their own families are suffering under.

We have travelled a fair bit both staying in condos and all inclusives. I try to be fair if I’m going to write a review. We would not stay here again.

Pros- Staff were pleasant and friendly. Pools were nice and very well kept. Gym was decent. Grounds were nice.

Cons:. Food was terrible. The hours to get food and pool service were odd and pool service starts later than other places we have stayed at. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything good about the food. Even the one speciality restaurant was mediocre. It’s a basic stirfry that someone could make at home.

I also found the rooms to be quite dirty. The cleaning of the room rooms was lacklustre to say the best. It was just a matter of making your bed and giving a quick wipe down of the bathroom. I also noticed that it was dirty in a lot of the common areas, including the bathrooms.
The day we arrived we had two bath towels and nothing else. They were responsive to our request but when I got the hand towels and two face cloths, they were stained so I didn’t use them.

When we were there, they lost water to some of the buildings. We were fortunate that we did not experience that, but I know people that had no water in their room for two days and we’re given a second room in another building for using the washroom and showering.

We don’t mind having kids around but if you do this place seems popular primarily with young families.

The staff was very attentive but the condition of the resort needs attention. The offerings at the pantry are very slim. The taco truck is very good as is the japanese restaurant. The Italian restaurant and the buffet were disappointing. They were advertising different food themes each night but the food was the same each time regardless of the theme. The Mediterranean night and the Mexican night had exactly the same food at the buffet which was not great. Carlos quinones was excellent and was always there when we needed something. The housekeeping staff needs better oversight. The toilet seat in the bathroom didn’t fit the toilet so each time we used it we got pinched by it and at times it felt like it was falling off. The balcony was also in need of maintenance as the doors between each balcony were rotting away. And the lounge chairs broke and my companion fell because the leg of the chair fell off when he sat down. Despite letting the front desk know about our concerns that the room was not only dirty (toenail clippings on the floor and coffee stains ) despite no coffee in the room were not addressed for the first three days. I can’t recommend this place. They need to tend to these issues before they lose more customers. Many of the guests expressed similar sentiments when we asked what they thought of their experience.

The room, staff and amenities are super clean. They work very hard even in the jungle with the leaves in the pools.

Some negatives for me

-There are many pools but all are very small with few chairs to accommodate.
- Most pools are shaded because of the trees
- Biggest flaw is the food. 2 small Buffet and only 1 restaurant to book. Options are very limited in that regard. The food truck open during the middle of the day is nice because you get it fresh. But we went off site for many meals.
- Shuttle to the beach is efficient but feels rushed on vacation. Need to book the shuttle down there and then line up to get a ride back.
- Beach itself is very small and limited chairs with vendors coming around constantly. During a 7 day visit we only went twice because of the chore

Overall it was a fine resort. It’s small and quite hilly. If it’s for a good deal I’d recommend. Otherwise, will probably try somewhere else!

Arrived and room was cleaned but still dirty. Bathroom door was so wedged it could not be opened or closed and was not addresssed when brought to houskeeping attention. While the workers were all nice amd tried their best i feel this resort is so very understaffed. Long wait times im restaurants to be seated while there are tons of open available tables. Waitresses are nowhere to be found during snack timings to be able to order from the counter or pool side.The buffets are frequently empty of all the popular iteams and not restocked by the time your done your meal. Reception is next to impossible to ever get ahold of. This part i understand is my fault but very frustrated that i had extreme stomach pain and deciding not to go into town to urgent care and paying the price i was shocked at the over 500 dollar bill i recieved for some stomach pills. No this really is a beautiful resort amd the pools are quite great pools but for the price i paid i am highly disappointed amd would not return or recomend this place to any friends or family

Let me preface by saying the resort itself is beautiful. Visually, it’s the perfect blend of resort and jungle and i appreciated the many pools and lounge chairs available to all guests. Our stay started off incredible, with an exceptional room — though not super clean, there was a few remnants from the previous guests that likely just got overlooked, it was spacious and had everything you’d want. Unfortunately, mid way through our trip our entire tower (there are 6), as well as our neighboring tower lost access to running water. No showers, using the toilet or washing your hands and because the closest pool was directly connected to our waterline, it also did not offer washrooms that were accessible. Though, this is completely unpredictable and can just happen, the water remained an issue for the entire day and led into the next day. We were offered another room in a building that had running water, however due to guests from both buildings needing to relocate on top of new guests checking in, there weren’t many rooms to choose from and unfortunately we severely were downgraded from the deluxe room we paid for with no compensation, offerings, or discounts to anything the resort offered additionally whatsoever. Thankfully, you do spend a majority of your time out by the pool — but when travelling far, and paying more for the room (since it’s an option), you’d expect a bit more when an issue arises as serious as no access to basic necessities. Which changed the experience.

First, our garden view was trash piles and some type of waste water treatment facility. The staff, other than the head bellhop, was dismissive and unhelpful in most situations. Typically, we got to resorts and the staff wants to help and is friendly and cheerful. Not here. The food was limited and we struggled with our app to make reservations. We were turned away when they had plenty of open seats. Not to mention the time slots for reservations were odd and limited. The Buffett was the same everyday. There was constant noise everyone from lawn equipment and blowers. All day, everyday. It made it hard to relax by the pool or read a book. The kicker was when we were asked to depart the shuttle bus back to the hotel by the driver. We walked to the spot where we were dropped. We walked through people sitting in the resort, off the the side. Exited the resort and stood for 10 minutes where the shuttle dropped us. They arrived, we opened the door and got in. A few minutes later we were asked to depart by the driver because the other guests said they were first. There was no line. They were literally still sitting in the resort. We did get off but were flabbergasted. Upon return to the resort we felt it necessary to report the incident. In which no one care, no one apologized. The manager said she’d look into it and never followed up with us. We checked out a day early. When doing so, they asked why and I told them the above. They did not care. Do not recommend.

Kids Club was so far away we had to take two shuttles. The leaf blowers are very loud and, although we appreciated that the grounds were amazing, the noise was so loud and sounded like a construction zone. Only one place to eat breakfast on site. The waiters in the afternoon at the upper pool site got our orders wrong every time and the food took at least 45 minutes to an hour to get.

My recent stay had its ups and downs. Initially, we were placed in a basement room with a view of a parking lot. The rooftop pool had a nice view but was too warm, and the buffet ran out of food and beer, leaving a poor impression. However, once we moved to a better room with a jungle-like atmosphere, our experience improved significantly.

The boutique all-inclusive resort features one buffet, one bar, one à la carte restaurant, and amenities for kids, including a lazy river and water park. The friendly staff enhances the experience, but the resort lacks the variety of larger ones. There’s a spa and simple dining options, and while activities and nightly entertainment were limited, we enjoyed playing bingo and listening to live music in the bar.

If you're a beach person, consider other options— the beach is off-site and requires a shuttle, and space is limited. We stayed for four nights after enjoying Sayulita and appreciated the freedom of having our own rental. Overall, the resort grounds were lovely, you can find some private space within, feel less crowded, a different option from a typical all-inclusive- Recommend for who: I families that don't want the large resorts, but still want some charm.

This place was awesome ! I was here for 6 nights, and will definitely return next year. As you’ve read the other comments, the food is not as bad as the reviews say. I found it best to get to breakfast right at 8am for best freshest food . The Italian spot was good, they have a person making fresh pasta by request ! Axel was great! Golf cart Carlos ( is what I call him ) was Johnny on the spot . All the bartenders at the front desk were amazing am and pm shifts. Before my uber came we played how many margaritas can we drink before the uber gets here lol . Francisco was great and Hazel in housekeeping really made my stay great ! The snack park by building 5 has great fish tacos and chicken wings! The pools and grounds are cleaned daily ! The water slide is fast Becareful ! Oh and they have karaoke which I sang Bob Jovi Dead or Alive . Overall this place was great !! As far as the food goes…have a few drinks and work up an appetite first …enjoy

Nice property, but we were really hoping for a quiet resort. They play really loud music at every pool with the same songs every day and there is no quiet place to relax. The resort is in a nice valley with alot of trees but the staff are constantly cleaning leaves with noisy gas powered leaf blowers.
The pool with a view and full day sun unfortunatly had semitrucks delivering water to the resort throughout the day and have to use loud generator pumps to pump in the water.

The resort was amazing! Plenty of food options and great customer service. We had 2 amazing servers at the beach and Alexis at the Media Luna was fantastic, Along with Daniel at tower 6 bar and Victor with the golf carts. That is just to name a few! Everyone was helpful inviting and attentive.

Lots of pools in various areas and food options throughout the day from the pantry to the food truck buffets Hibachis and the bar food at all locations.

The wild life was amazing to view as well!

The grounds and overall feel of this resort are exquisite. If you’d like somewhere with more of a right in the middle of the jungle feel, this one is for you. With all the different pools and different buildings you really get a chance to explore the resort as a whole. The staff were also amazing and always so helpful and fun!

We checked out 3 days into our 7 day holiday. The food selection was awful. The buffet didn’t even have heating lights on the hot food. Everything was cold. The pools were heated and felt like you were in a bathtub of urine. The bars weren’t open until 12:00. The distance from everything makes this resort too out of the way.
It was beautiful, the staff were great too

The property was beautiful, and as someone who prefers mountains over the ocean, it was the perfect setting for me. The shuttle to the beach club was easy, efficient, and well organized. The beach club itself offered nice seating and a decent menu. That said, if you don’t eat seafood or red meat, dining options there can be a bit challenging.

As expected in many parts of the city, you should be prepared to be approached by locals selling items throughout your time at the beach, which can be tiring over the course of the day.

Overall, the resort was clean and well maintained. One disappointment was the glass barrier at the adults-only pool, it was dirty for the entirety of our stay and obstructed what should have been a stunning rooftop ocean view, which was frustrating. We stayed in Tower 6, and while the room itself was comfortable, the walls were paperthin. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms, and I truly mean everything. On a positive note, the mattress and pillows were fantastic and made for very comfortable sleep.

The buffet food was about a 7/10. There was a good variety overall and it would generally satisfy most guests. However, once again, those who don’t eat seafood or red meat may struggle. There were a couple of nights where my only protein options were pork or fish, which left me going without. That said, the buffet in Tower 6 was by far the best on the resort,the meats there were consistently juicy and very tender.

Our stay overall was okay,The room was in good condition and housekeeping, came each day and cleaned the room and the beds, so that was nice. But there were notable things that could have been improved. The water took a long time to heat up in the shower and sometimes it didn’t heat up at all.All the “hot”tubs were lukewarm and extremely busy. The staff were great but overall the pool was so busy we didn’t get chairs for 2 days during our stay. Lastly all the food at the restaurants was mostly cold and lacked quality and flavor. This was our first experience here.

I had high hopes and was very disappointed. bathtub had no drain to hold water, no pool service you would wait hours with no service unless you go up to bar. Garbage and empty cups everywhere, no snacks unless scheduled meals. Fighting for chairs that would sit empty all day with towels and no body in sight.

Tower 6 has the best pool, it's in the sun all day. Snack bars have better food than the buffet. Towels can be hard to come by, don't wait to get fresh towels. The beach had best service (thanks Susana). Morning buffet is busy at 10am and dinner buffet is busy at 8pm.

We spent almost a week at Delta Marriot and were shocked it received so many 5-star reviews! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and my daughter loved having so many pools to choose from, but overall the entire experience was just ok.

The food at the two buffets was hit or miss, with a few items being delicious, but most things were meh. The exception was the taco truck and beach restaurant. We were excited to try the tappanyaki restaurant and made a reservation as soon as we checked in, but for whatever reason the front desk clerk didn't actually make the reservation, so we were turned away when we showed up at our designated day/time.

The property itself is built on a hill, which means A LOT of walking up hill in the heat & humidity. There are golf carts, which were a wonderful ammenity, but you typically only got picked up from the lobby at the bottom of the hill and we were in the tower at the top of the property, so rarely made it to the lobby.

At first glance the facilities appear well-maintained, but if you look closer you see issues. Several public bathroom door locks were missing; our shower head was detached from the ceiling by about an inch; two of our lights didn't work and one of them had a layer of dust on the frame; a giant dead moth hung out in one of our elevators for over 24 hours, leaving me wondering how often things were cleaned; and one of our bath towels was frayed all around the edges and had a hole in one corner.

We won't return.

We stayed at this resort as a family with our 10-year-old at the end of December, and we had a really enjoyable time. We were genuinely surprised by the number of pools on the property — there are many of them, most are heated, and they were very pleasant.

The food was great, and the staff were always polite, helpful, and welcoming. The beach club was also excellent, and it’s only about 10 minutes away with a dedicated shuttle bus, which made it very convenient.

The only negative part of our stay was the pullout sofa bed in the room, which was meant for our child. Our king-size bed was very comfortable, but the pullout mattress was terrible — extremely thin, and you could feel the springs directly through it with almost no cushioning. We had to call the front desk, and they brought a thick blanket to place on top, otherwise our child wouldn’t have been able to sleep on it. Honestly, I’m not sure why such a nice resort with great amenities would have such a cheap pullout mattress. We also spoke to other guests and it wasn’t just us — others had the same issue.

Other than that, we really loved our stay. The resort is very green, feels private, and is very family-friendly. This is one of the few places where we can honestly say we would love to come back and stay again.

We had an excellent stay at this resort and would absolutely come back. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained, and exactly what you want from an all-inclusive—relaxing, comfortable, and easy to enjoy from day one.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay great. You never felt like just another guest.

A special shout-out to Benny at the Xaman Bar. He was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and always in a great mood, Benny made some of the best drinks we had all week and remembered what we liked without even asking. He single-handedly turned the Xaman Bar into one of our favorite spots at the resort. The kind of bartender who makes you want to come back the next day—and the next.

Overall, fantastic service, great atmosphere, and a staff that truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Great resort for families or anyone who doesn’t want to head into the town of PV. Not a great resort for people in their 20s. no poolside entertainment or many events hosted by the resort. there was kareoke night and bingo but those were the only two events the whole week. No airport transfers and tough and expensive to get an uber or Cab from the resort. the pools were the highlight , so many to choose from and loved the lazy river. There were only 3 main restaurants and then a pool snack and taco cart and a pantry open 24/7 but it only had soups sandwiches and cereal. They did have a soft serve ice cream machine that we loved but otherwise the food was very repetitive and nothing to write home about. the staff were very friendly we loved manuel at the lobby bar. The pools closed at 9 lazy river and waterslide at 6 and the bars near the pool closed early aswell. not much night life there more of a family resort. Also be prepared to walk as each building is far from the restaurants pools lobby etc.
