Easy to get to and find from train station. Hot water. Breakfast simple but nice and plenty of food. Luggage storage is brilliant. You may have 5 or 6 flights of stairs to walk up so be prepared for that. Other then that nice and clean and nice place to stay

Totally awsome hotel but in a loud area

The hotel is in a great location. Very close to the train station and to the bus stop to Macchu Picchu. The room was very clean and their complimentary breakfast is amazing! The double edged sword is that they are close to the train station so the area is very loud. The trains stop around 11pm so if you have to get up early and you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. This is not the hotels fault but its something that is worth considering if you want to stay here.

This hotel was a comfortable stay just steps away from the train station. The condition of the hotel is a bit old, but most things are functioning properly. Nice shower, comfortable beds. No elevator to the fifth floor though. Location was very close to all the restaurants and shops, which is a plus.

Noisy location by the train, but it is bad in the hotel when you hear them move a chair on the main level and you are on the 4th. Internet connection sucks. Breakfast - nothing but cold eggs, old fruit and they don't have a simple item like toast.

Good Hotel close to the train station

I stayed at this hotel with my family for one night. We felt welcome when we arrived and our room was clean, with great shower and breakfast met my expectations.
A bit noisy, because the proximity to the train station, but the noise did not even hinder my sleep.
I would definitely recommend this hotel

Nice staff and very convenient to the train/bus

We stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was easy enough - they asked us to pay for the room upfront. The woman at the front desk was really nice and helped us to print our Machu Picchu tickets and explained how to get to the bus.

The room itself was pretty bare bones - Just a bed and a bathroom which is all we needed. It is right next to the train so it's a bit loud, but we are city people and it didn't bother us much. However our first night there did not feel very clean. We think that maybe when they were cleaning the room earlier in the day they kept the window open because there were tons of large mosquitoes and moths all over the room. The second day though the bug situation seemed to calm down and we felt much cleaner. The bathroom was definitely very clean.

Overall, we thought it was a decent place if you just need a bed to sleep in near the bus to Machu Picchu.

The owner was very helpful, nice and interactive with my daughter that was 8. We came at the slow season and my daughter being very interactive to getting into things, she played around with the dolls at the Christmas Tree. We was very attentive and helpful. It was the best place we stayed at on our hole trip. We spent about 22 days in Peru.

Ticks all the boxes to spring board to Machu Picch

Stayed in Flowers hotel for 2 nights as my base in Aquas Calientes for my two days in Machu Picchu. Pleasant and comfortable hotel sitting on ajasent/parallel to the station. Simple to find and a few minutes walk across the bridge to the many bars, restaurants, natural hot springs and bus stop to Machu Piccu.
Aquas Calientes is a small, compact town. Accommodation is relatively expensive for what you get but this is down to the limited supply to demand for tourists using it as a spring board to Machu Picchu. Flowers hotel ticked all the boxes for me. Clean, central, decent room for my needs as a solo traveller and early morning breakfast to fuel up to the day ahead. Diamond in the hotel is the chap on reception who gave great advice on what to do and best places to eat and drink.
I'll visit Machu Picchu again and will book Flowers Hotel again.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful. Really perfect for what we needed - a base from which to explore Machu Picchu. The front rooms have stunning views of the mountains. Only negative was that our bedroom had no window facing outside.

It's OK, but get a room at the back of the hotel.

Unfortunately our room was at the front of the Hotel right next to the train station. It was loud especially since there was a quarter inch gap opening at the corner of the windows. If you choose this hotel, ensure you get a room at the back of the hotel.

The hotel was easy to access from the train station and convenien for wandering around town. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside of the hotel was the noise of the trains starting very early in the morning as the train station is across the street, but even with that, we would stay again.

It was an okay place to stay given we were going to scale Machu Picchu the next morning. We were on the top floor of the hotel, but it was still quite noisy. The walls are paper thin between the rooms, so we heard our neighbors shower and then watch TV until midnight. Not so desirable when you are going to get up at 3.50am the next morning to get breakfast and catch the bus at 4.30am. Otherwise, the room was comfortable. The staff were understanding and allowed us to keep our bigger backpacks in the hotel.

Good overnight option for Machu Picchu

We needed a reasonably priced, clean place to stay overnight so that we could get an early start to the Machu Picchu sacred city. The train from Cusco would not get us there early enough, so we needed to be in Machu Picchu town for that.
The Flower's House proved to be an adequate option. The room we got had two small beds, so my wife and I had to sleep somewhat uncomfortably, so that our teenage son could use the other bed. But the room was clean and had all the standard amenities, including slow but functional WiFi, TV, and telephone.
No frills, but for the price and our needs, it proved to be perfectly adequate, and the staff is pleasant and helpful.
A simple but adequate breakfast is included, and they start serving at 4:00am, for those who need to be on line at the bus station by 5:00am.
It is within walking distance of the train station (about 3 block's walk), and near several (rather overpriced) restaurants and souvenir shops. If you walk a few blocks up, you'll find much cheaper and better.
They offer a rather expensive \"boxed lunch\" that you can purchase to take up to Machu Picchu. Alternatively you can purchase all kinds of lunchables for a very modest price in several food shops within walking distance.

Note: you can reserve, but not pay, this hotel from Expedia. You will have to pay once you get there. Also, checkout is at about 9:00 am, but you can leave your bags in storage until you come back from Machu Picchu and are ready to leave.

Just an average hotel...

Bad:
Wifi too slow and inconsistent. Barely usable.
Night receptionist was rude.
Shower drained very slowly.
With all the celebration outside, there was no noise dampening. Difficult to sleep before a very early morning.
Breakfast starts at 4:30am and should be earlier. The bus line to MP begins at 4:30. So we had to take food in ziplock bags even before all the food was served (buffet style).
Jacuzzi had bad filter which made the water come out very slowly. I took the filter off and it ran perfectly.

Good:
Averagely comfortable for the price.

I would recommend to someone, but if I go again, I would stay somewhere else.

Made us change room in the middke of our stay

We stayed 2 nights and the manager asked us to change room in the middle of our stay to accomodate other guests. We didnt have a choice. I asked him if we could check out a little later than 9:30 am because our train was not leaving until 3:20 pm but he said no because they were fool. It was clearly not true based on the occupancy of the hotel the next day. I would stay somewhere else.

Clean but basic

At check-in, we had to put up a fight to secure 3 beds, because we had clearly indicated 2 adults and one teen, but hotel insisted the reservation was for two twin room, which are two single size beds in Peru. After some arguments, the owner just gave us another room since they did not have an extra bed or a triple room. The twin room was on 2nd floor, looking out to side of the hotel, which is just a small street of other buildings. The single room we got for free was facing the front, overlooking the train station and mountains..but huge electrical pole and equipments dominate the view, unfortunately. Hotel is clean but very basic, very thin shower doors and hot water that ran out after 2 of us took shower in the evening. The best part of the stay was breakfast, which consisted of eggs, sausages, pancakes, in addition to fresh fruits, yogurts, and delicious local bread. Once we got over the initial hurdle at check-in, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Noise level is little high due to proximity to the station (free wake up call at 5am when first train fires up its engine) but location is convenient for leaving bags when we go up to Machu Picchu and then picking them up before boarding our train back to Cusco.

Best shower head everrrr!

This was a nice hotel with the best shower head ever, which is perfect after the long day of hiking Machu Picchu (MP). Also, the free breakfast in the morning was nice to have for the day of hiking. We even packed sandwiches from the bread, meat, and cheese from breakfast (since the food right outside MP park is very expensive). We even took some fruit. The only complaint is it is a little noisy in the morning when everybody is getting up very early to get ready for MP (like 4:30am early), but you should be getting up then too to get in line for the busses before everyone else.

CONVENIENT GET AWAY

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was overall very clean, the room was spacious for the price we paid, the bathroom met our basic needs and its location is superb for getting to and from the train station and not too long a walk to the bus station and restaurants. Although facing the railway track, it is very quite and peaceful after about 9 pm.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our one night get away at Flower House and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Solicitamos que a transferissem para um andar mais baixo, mas o pessoal da recepção com um atendimento frio não solucionou o problema. AH! Em frente a estação de trem, barulho o tempo inteiro!!!

Chegamos 7 horas da noite para um pernoite. O café começa as 4 da manhã e é bem servido, o quarto é confortável e limpo. Deixamos as bagagens e fomos para a visita para Machupicchu. Bom custo e benefício.

Hotel razoável, mas não voltaria a ficar.

Hotel para apenas uma rápida noite. Até que o barulho da estação de trem em frente não incomoda, pois à noite eles param o movimento. Mas dentro do hotel e nos quartos a movimentação e barulho é intensa até meia noite e inicia em torno de tres e meia da manhã, com o pessoal se arrumando para ir à MP, horário que tem até musica no café da manhã, e dá pra escutar lá do quarto. O café da manhã é sofrível, mas dá uma enganada.

Para uma noite é ok. O quarto é confortável e limpo e as instalações são boas. A localização é boa se você quer ficar próximo da estação de trem, mas chegando lá achei melhor ficar mais para baixo, perto da praça e do ponto de ônibus que vai para Machu Picchu. Senti falta de um frigobar no quarto para colocar águas. Ficamos no 4 andar e aí tinham muitas escadas mas faz parte. O café da manhã é ruim, poucas opções e atraso para servir. wifi funcionou bem. Mas foi barato e atendeu bem para uma noite.

Bem localizado e com instalações novas.

Muito bem localizado, a pouquíssimos metros da entrada fda estação de trem e da fila para subir a Machu Pichu. Instalações novas, chuveiro excelente. Wi-fi funciona tão bem que pegava dentro do trem en que estávamos para voltar para Cusco. Boa experiência em Águad Calientes, sendo que recomendo o Flowers House!

Hotel localizado na frente da estação e o barulho do trem que fica parado, ligado, mesmo estando com todas as janelas fechadas, foi muito desagradável.
