The breakfast was excellent. The airport pick up, though the plane was 30 mins late, and it was 11pm, was confused and took about 15-20 minutes to call the hotel and connect with our driver. So we eventually made it but added a little stress at the pick up. The room was small but everything worked. The staff was friendly enough, especially the breakfast staff, but not well organized. The spa is not regularly staffed. They have to call out and have a person come.

Five stars for the staff alone! The girls at the front desk were professional, kind, and so helpful from check-in to check-out. The rooms are beautiful and, most importantly, very quiet—perfect for getting a good night's rest in a busy city. The lakeside location and rooftop bar are unbeatable. I'll definitely be back!

Not sure why this hotel has so many good reviews. We booked it for the ‘good wifi’ for work calls and it was terrible. The shower was the worst shower we have used in 5 months of travelling, there was 0 water pressure and the water sprays everywhere. The breakfast was empty before 9:30am and not replenished so we had to go purchase elsewhere. And upon checkout they did not have a credit card machine to pay for 1 water bottle used in the room fridge and only wanted cash which we didn’t have as we are leaving, so their only solution was for us to go elsewhere and purchase a single water bottle to replace it.

Despite the poor reviews that we only saw after we booked, this place was clean, had great staff to greet us and offer us suggestions of places to go, and the room and bathroom were clean and pleasant to use. Calls to the front were answered and staff arrived promptly to help. The triple room was not large but we had two people and it was sufficient for our stay. As others said the breakfast had an okay spread but I’m not here to eat hotel food anyway. Would recommend.

It’s hot. AC doesn’t work. Bugs. Dust. Flies. Claustrophobic. Humid af. Scary.

I almost never comment but we left literally 20min after we arrived.
We’re still waiting for our FULL REFUND to be processed.

Trust me, this is NOT a 5 stars hotel. I swear this is a 1star hotel and that 1 star was found in a happy meal.

We’re still traumatized from that experience.

Loved this hotel! Room was comfy and clean, nice shower. Included breakfast was so good, loved having a hot bowl of pho each morning. Ruby helped us out a ton, giving us directions and steering us to a great day trip! Thank you Ruby! What really made our stay stand out were the warm friendly smiles that greeted us each time we entered, Skye and Braydon always made us feel welcome and took interest in our sleep and our plans for the day! Le Petite is very fortunate to have these 2 as front faces in your lovely hotel!

Rooftop bar photo is misleading: it belongs to their other hotel Victor; Le Petit Prince’s is underwhelming and overpriced. Hotel is in average condition and the room was too hot, even with the temperature on low and air on high. Towels had an overpowering scent and the room smelled like mould after cleanings. Breakfast was full of meat so unsuitable for vegans/vegetarians. However, the staff were lovely and the location central.

The room is a million miles from what is advertised in the photos. The bathroom has mould in it, the reception staff are not bothered at all, the room feels like a prison. staff was pleasant. Rooms were ok. I could not stand in the shower as it was several inches too short. Anyone over 5ft 10 inches tall or taller would not fit. Perhaps it was just in room 204. Twin beds pushed together separated during the night and could feel the divide down the middle.

Excellent room. So conveniently located in Old Quarter and close Lake, and Night Market. Staff very friendly & helpful. Always welcoming you with a smile. Bed super comfortable and the tub!! Its the only hotel I had with a tub which is such a luxury after a long day of exploring. I will definitely pick this hotel again when I come back to Hanoi!

What stood out is hotel’s staffs specifically the chef Ha, the server named Liên. They are very friendly, helpful made my stay much more enjoyable. The receptionist Ly is also amazing staff. Room is small but clean. I have a good time staying here.

This hotel is nothing like it advertises! It felt like a glorified backpackers hostel as soon as we stepped in. Extremely old, walls in the room are definitely not Soundproof as mentioned, we lay awake till 2am listening to 2 other rooms. Our front door had a substantial gap around it letting out the air-conditioning and the bathroom isnt frosted - you can clearly see right through with a gap up top! Their solution, 'pull the curtain across' but once you do that the person in the bathroom cant get out without snapping the curtain rod. Dirty laundry left in hallway for 2days, lift dirty, didnt want to chance eating there. We were originally booked for 5nights but gladly left the next day and moved up the road for a few dollars more. Do.yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE

Lovely place. Staff were extremely helpful, including reception, chefs and from the Sky Bar. I wasn’t overly impressed with the performance of the air con, but that’s a personal preference. There was constant drilling going on, where no consideration seemed to be given for the customers.

Upon hotel, we booked ha long bay 2 day 1 night tour + sapa 3 day 2 night tour with Mrs. Ruby The tours included scenic boat rides in Ha Long Bay and trekking through the terraced rice fields in Sapa, with comfortable accommodations arranged by Mrs. Ruby. Each day offered unique experiences, from cultural visits to stunning landscapes, making the trip both relaxing and adventurous. Also, Mrs. Ruby had free upgrade us to a Premium room city view was nice, large and had a good view. We have a good time on hotel rooftop too. We highly recommend booking through Mrs. Ruby for anyone visiting northern Vietnam.
