This hotel was great! Staff were extremely kind, very helpful when we had questions, and made check in quick and easy. We had a lovely room - it had plug ins on both sides of the bed, a nice bathroom & shower, and a mini fridge. The highlight was the free coffee in the room and their breakfast. WOW - highly recommend their breakfast! It's a buffet of items plus they have a few hot items that you can order too - all is included in the breakfast price. My husband and I enjoyed their breakfast every day of our trip. It's a nice, quiet location - near many things but not on a super busy road. The train street is a 5-10 minute walk away. Highly recommend you book with this hotel, you won't regret it!

The staff was really friendly and always helpful, simple breakfast but has everything you need including vegetarian options. Staff was accommodating for extra food or other options. Location is good, is close to the old quarter but not in the middle of the “chaos”. Close to the Ho Chi Min mausoleum and embassy’s so nice walking areas.
Staff allowed luggage to stay extra days in the hotel and also allowed to use the shower facilities in the spa at no extra charge for evening departure from hotel.
Gym and pool would use some polishing. Overall very sleek boutique hotel - very nice stay in Hanoi.

Awesome start to our first visit to Vietnam!

Even before we got on the plane to Hanoi, Jane Vuong from the Aira Boutique Hotel in Hanoi was helping me plan our trip. Not only was she the one who arranged for our pick up from the Hanoi airport to Aira hotel, and back to the airport to fly to Danang, but also a 9 person limo van transport from our hotel in Sa Pa back to Hanoi when I was not staying another night at Hanoi. She even suggested a better departure time so that we would not arrive too late for our transport to Ninh Binh. My husband was shocked at this service above & beyond!! The VIP tickets to the water puppet show she arranged was at the front desk when we arrived. The seats were 2nd row in the very middle! She checked to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

I love to stay in nicer boutique hotels overseas whenever possible - we are seen as true guests instead of as a room number. Although we arrived past 10 pm, a hotel staff member was waiting outside to open the car door with a smile & help with our luggage. The young man at the front desk was aware of our late arrival & checked us in with his very good English.

Beautiful front lobby. Our room was surprisingly roomy especially at this price point at such a beautiful hotel in the tourist area in a major city. Very clean & the decor was tasteful throughout. New luxurious bedding, soundproofed room with blackout drapes! Well maintained with SUPER A/C, plumbing &fridge. Safe & convenient but not too loud location on edge of Old Quarter.

This hotel is comfortable option in Hanoi. The staff, in particular, were incredibly friendly and accomodating. We were delayed heading to the hotel from the airport and they kept checking-in with our driver to ensure that we were OK. We only stayed for one night and did not get to enjoy all the amenities, but overall the hotel is nicely decorated but a bit outdated with a moldy/musty smell throughout. The breakfast buffet also did not impress us and it was the first time we did not like the coffee in Vietnam. Overall a nice option but could use a few updates.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with in a great location. We stayed here three separate times during our trip in Vietnam. We found the rooms to be comfortable, clean and decent in size. We use the eooftop pool almost everyday to cool off during our stay in April and May. We also enjoyed their rooftop bar several times at night. Their restaurant on site during dinner was absolutely fabulous. We dined there four times ...... the food, selection, presentation, venue and service were over the top and highly recommended. What makes this hotel even better is truly their staff. Everyone is extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful.
The location is also very attractive as it's only two blocks from Train Street and a few more blocks to Old Quarters. There are lots of eateries in the area, a pharmacy, just a few doors down and right around the corner is a laundry service keeping everything extremely convenient. Highly recommend!

The Aira hotel was a brillient choice, it is near Train Street The Citadel, The Flag Tower. All within about 5 mins walk.

Tha area isthe old part part of Ha Npi its is very interestinh the hotel stscf are amazing on recrption with Tony and Christine the Sky bar with Kyle, Luke and Mark. Also the exceptional staff in the restaurant.Anni Ivy,Nora and Hudson all supervised bu Daisy. Nothinh was too much trouble always happy and smiling.the hotel is the staff. We would revommend it. Great stay at this hotel. Room was excellent, restaurant was top notch with very good breakfast. Location was good with easy walk to train street, shopping, etc. Staff at this hotel is best I've encountered in a long time. Absolutely amazing service. Not just smiling faces but they genuinely care and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. They have a great concierge and I highly recommend you talk to them about tours, cruises, etc while planning your trip. They are honest and sincere about helping you enjoy your holiday the best.

This is an exceptional, real five star experience. I agree with another reviewer, - the 1 star reviews this hotel has are ridiculous and clearly by a rival. My room was stunning, spacious and beautifully decorated, with a lovely small balcony, with plants and a tree outside. Staff were incredibly kind. It was my birthday, and they brought a cake to my room. It is also the nicest welcome I've ever had in a hotel - guided immediately to a comfortable seat, served delicious tea, while a receptionist came to me, calmly and quickly talking through the details, then taking me up to my room. The restaurant had a great menu and very friendly service. I found the food just slightly lower in standard than I expected - good, but not exceptional. Spa was very very good - but make it very clear if you want a gentle massage - deep tissue, hard core is the default! Location is a little outside the main old quarter, but very convenient for the famous Train Street and the train station. Definitely a beautiful hotel to treat yourself.

We had an amazing time staying at the Aira Boutique Hotel in Hanoi. All the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to create a positive experience for guests. The restaurant, skybar and spa were great as well. The hotel is very centrally located, a short walk away from many attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Hanoi!

Don't hesitate to book!

Our family has been traveling for over 4 months and this has been one of our favorite stays so far! Our room was so comfortable, inviting, and beautiful. The staff was THE NICEST staff we've ever had. SO helpful, caring and kind. We were truly sad to check out and want to come back to Hanoi JUST to stay at the Aira.
Location is great- close to Train Street and walkable to all other Old Quarter things.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here with our young baby. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough. They went above and beyond every time, each and everyone of them. The hotel has beautiful decor and a great location right near train street and easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The best part is this hotel is so quiet, you cannot hear any noise from the bustling street. The spa is also amazing, my husband and I had a massage each and the masseuses were so experienced with amazing technique. Loved this hotel.

Greeted by the General Manager upon arrival. Given Local tea during relaxed check in. General Manager offered free upgrade to Larege Balcony room overlooking the city. Clean, spacious room 50sq meters with luxury furnishings and bathroom with bath and shower. Free mini bar and drinks on the rooftop Skybar. All the staff super friendly and attentive. 100% recommend this place with less than 100 meters walk to the amazing Train Street

Lovely Hotel

Lovely hotel 2 mins walk from train street. The beds were very comfortable best we had on our trip. The breakfast was great We had a free room upgrade The staff were lovely and friendly too.
100% recommend this hotel and will return if we come back to Hanoi.

Very helpful staff. We could sit down and drink tea for the check-in. They allowed early check-in for a few of the rooms in our group. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the spa had reasonable prices and very good massage therapists.
