We were greeted by an amazing man, who welcomed us with so much excitement! We told him it was our 31st wedding anniversary and he changed our room with no additional cost! He told us of a wonderful restaurant for dinner and was just so helpful! We had a wonderful meal out, relaxed in our room and had a restful night. The entire weekend was just the same as when we arrived. The staff was all so kind and helpful! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Nice room and great staff at the front desk . We stayed in the main inn and not the newer rooms since we were there for one night at the end of the summer season. Looks like it would be a fun place to stay in the summer. Close to town.
Somewhat limited breakfast menu that was unfortunately only available on the second floor, so there are a lot of stairs to climb outdoors. So if you are handicapped in anyway and have difficulty on stairs, you might have a problem.

The cutest hotel we have stayed at! The fire pit is such a wonderful touch for night time! Breakfast was amazing for being a “continental”. Beds were so comfy and the location was great!

Room was clean and efficient. The hot water was not working the night we checked in. When we called about it in the am they said someone was coming to fix it and we could go to the lobby and they would allow us to shower in another room. It was raining and that was not going to work for the three of us. We had to check out that am and just figured we’d shower at our next hotel. Fortunately the plumbers arrived early and were able to get it working in time for us to shower in our room prior to checking out. We had rainy weather and didn’t use the pool but had a drink at the bar and ordered food for our room. Service was very good. The continental breakfast was great. Overall it was a great stay. Our only regret is not asking for a first floor room as there were no elevators in our building and our suitcases were heavy.
The property is very pretty and although there was some noise from the pool and bar area in the evening it didn’t impact our stay in a negative manner.

I like the location but the traffic was a nightmare. The heavy traffic was after the season too! Ogunquit while walkable has a serious growth and traffic issue. Also, parking is problematic. Likely will not return.

First time will be our last time
We were in the old part of the “resort” and it was bad. From walking on the decking and stairs that we thought were going to give way, to no place to put our clothes, no where to hang clothes. Couldn’t open window because so many holes in screen. Doors would not close properly and stay closed. My husband kept hitting his head getting out of bed, because of clipped ceiling. The best part about the whole place was the bar tender Richard!

We had an excellent stay in mid-July. Super-friendly staff, clean room and grounds, and great location. The Helm bar and grill on-site was convenient with excellent food. Our only minor complaints are that the window air conditioner unit made it a bit difficult to maintain a comfortable room temperature, and the continental breakfast could have offered some hot items (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.)

This was our second time visiting this property. Last year we had a pleasant visit and returned this year to be disappointed by having such an unpleasant stay. We had a musty smell in our room as well as wet and dirty carpeting. The family pool was dirty and with no clean towels to be had. The garbage can outside our room was overflowing and smelled attracting flies. There were silverfish and flying ants in the room. I let The Admiral Inn know about these issues and have not heard back from them.

Beautiful and clean
I found the resort looked exactly like the photos on their website. I absolutely loved the decor. The lobby was beautiful, and the people were friendly. The room & bed was very clean, and the pillows were soft. I only have a few complaints. First off, the water pressure in the shower was so low that you had to press the wand into your hair in order to wash. There was no way to turn it up. I honestly didn't feel very clean with such a light rain sprinkle. Secondly, we weren't able to use the hot tub because they had just put a bunch of chemicals in it and so they were trying to let it sit. Lastly, I really would have appreciated a microwave. We had leftovers that we didn't have any way to warm up, so we had to walk all the food up to the lobby and use theirs. That is very cheap upgrade that would be greatly appreciated by everyone. The walk to the beach was not too far, but it wasn't hot either. Might be a little tough if it was blazing hot, but they also have trolley service. It doesn't come exactly to the hotel, but does come just down around the corner, and he will take you to and from the beach. That comes around about every 20 minutes he said. Overall, I'll definitely stay with them again. It was beautiful.

This does not qualify as a resort by any standard. Offering a \"SPA\" that sits empty and a \"Sauna\" that requires waiting for heating should not be advertised as resort amenities. As a frequent traveler who stays anywhere from no stars to five stars, I have clear expectations, especially when the term \"RESORT\" is used.
All rooms use standard keys with key holders, and they make you sign that you will be charged $50 per key if lost, I guess they have not heard about the digital options. While the two rooms we stayed in were spacious and adequate, the bathrooms were outdated, with no space for toiletry bags. The toilet paper was the cheapest I've encountered, not even seen in hostels in South America; it was very thin and poorly perforated, truly inexpensive.
Regarding breakfast, I can accept not having an omelet or other cooked-to-order items found in regular hotels, not to mention a Resort, but the presentation in cheap containers made it unappealing. It felt like they discouraged dining there. Overall, a complete disaster.

The Admiral’s Inn Resort was nice, we just came at a time that the bar was closing for the season. We didn’t really interact with many people inside the resort. We had two beds, a fridge, and the shower was ok. It is not ADA compliant and we saw older adults struggling to get suitcases up the stairs.

I have stayed here many times and I wouldn’t keep coming back if I found it wasn’t a great place to stay. The Admiral’s is well located to walk into town for restaurants or to walk to the Ogunquit Playhouse. They serve a very nice continental breakfast. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
