We were awoken at 8 am on Sunday morning to construction hammering and grinding on the floor above us by 10am I had to call the front desk and ask ot to stop it was just so loud for a sunday morning. They had it stopped immediately and were shocked they were working then. Facility is always nice and the hot tub was great in the snow.

This was a great place for our family. We were able to get adjoining rooms, so the kids had their own space for sleeping and we had ours. The pools and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) were great and the mini movie theater was a treat! Besides that, it was so close to Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit, which is so beautiful and also great for dining and shopping, nature walks, and more.

The outside hot tub was not hot, the indoor one was TOO hot. Staff was friendly-ish. No signs showing what the process was for breakfast, server didn't know that boneless wings (which were on the menu) were the same as chicken tenders, but insisted they didn't have boneless wings, but DID have chicken tenders... whatever, but between that and getting yelled at for not pre-paying for breakfast when there was NO indication what the process was, I did not enjoy the restaurant at all. The icing on the cake is that my girlfriend left her coat behind in the room and they could not care less, it’s basically gone. Would have been nice for them to at least offer to ship it back. She called and they directed her to a website. No word on that yet.. it wasn’t that bad of a stay really but the little things add up and I’m not sure I’ll be back

I booked a luxury Suite 2 months in advance through Expedia and when we arrived at the property, I was told the room category was sold out. I did not have a room and had driven four hours. They tried to get us a room at a sister property, which was like staying at a motel six. I chose this property for its amenities and they tried to put us in a place with none. The staff did not really help address our concerns and I would definitely not go back there again. Also, the facility is very large and nothing is labeled. It is very easy to get lost.

Owners should really change out the carpet. I wore my socks in the room and they were pretty much black which is pretty nasty the carpet looks to be original & is greasy. Also check in wasn't warm & welcoming as nothing was explained to us where anything was at maybe that's just a southern hospitality thing as we're from the south. Maybe up north isn't like that, however we figured it all out by just walking around. We loved how convenient this place is and all the amenities, truly great for families! : ) It was a good stay.

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to visit Ogunquit. We were fortunate enough to grab a reservation at The Meadowmere and our stay did not disappoint! Our room had a king size bed and was in the main resort building. Although we arrived 3 hours ahead of check-in, the room was ready. It was clean and spacious. The property has both indoor and outdoor pools as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We used both the outdoor pool and tub and it was wonderful!
The location of the resort was great! We parked our car and didn’t use it again until we decided to day trip to Portland. The village is a short walk away where you can find shops, restaurants and the pathway down to the beach. Don’t miss the entrance to the Marginal Way! We walked it our first morning to Perkins Cove, had a great breakfast, and walked back!
Speaking of breakfast, we ate twice at the resorts pub, opting for breakfast. It is similar to a chain resorts complimentary breakfast but that was fine by me! Coffee and hot water are also available all day long off the lobby for your afternoon pick me up! There is also a microwave for guest use.
We had a wonderful time in Ogunquit and I would highly recommend The Meadowmere to couples and families looking to visit Southern Maine!

The property is nicely maintained but some things are old and need to be fixed. Our balcony door was almost impossible to open and close and we weren’t the only ones with this issue. The gentleman at the front desk (possibly a manager), was not very pleasant or friendly.

I was thinking this was resort style but that was not the case. Limited staff. Room not ready at check-in time. Rooms clean but old and dark deco. No elevator. Not what I expected for price and location.

I did not like the check-in process, which felt like “self-serve.” We were not welcomed to the resort. Instead we were instructed to pick up a packet that contained our room keys, instructions and a map of the grounds. Only after we retrieved the information and asked about the location of our building and other amenities were we given any information. We were then told that everything we needed was in the packet. Very rude and dismissive.

The weather was very hot, and the AC was a swamp cooler on the floor and very loud. We put up the sign on our door for Housekeeping, but they only changed out our towels. The place was in a convenient location, but the STAFF was rude. I called down twice to the front desk for extra towels, and nobody came to bring them. I had to go downstairs and take them from the pool room. Then I called back down because our air conditioner wasn't working at one point, and nobody answered. We had to pay extra for parking as well. If the Staff were nicer, I would have given it 3 stars, but they were so rude.

We love meadowmere and will be back! But they did seem a bit short staffed this weekend. Pool ran out of towels both days, public bathroom ran out of toilet paper. But in general, all staff are pleasant and professional and the facility has a lot to offer, with pools, games, nice outdoor seating spaces, etc

Clean, quiet, family friendly. Perfect location for those looking to stay just on the edge of town and off main or shore street crowds. But still a short walk from anything and everything - even Perkins Cove! However, if kids or older adults, a trolly or golf cart might be a better option for the hike to Perkins. Resort had everything we needed and then some. Could stand some minor updates and a full list of everything included with stay (we didn’t know bikes were available to us until check out), but those are very small complaints. We loved our stay, hated having to leave and can’t wait to return!

We unfortunately had to wait for checkin as our room was never checked to see if it was ready. Ironically we parked right in front of the room (unknowingly of course) and the room was clean for hours since the drapes were open and lights on. We followed up a few times but wasn’t checked in until past 4 when someone finally did a walk through the room. It is unfortunate because we paid for an upgrade and they were willing to check us into a room further away without offering anything for the downgrade which is why we ended up waiting. I’m disappointed the towels were out every day while we were there. It was a reoccurring issue that it seemed everyone was asking about at both pools. We have stayed here before but enjoyed it more the last time.

Otherwise the property was very clean and well maintained. Someone should definitely inspect this room. The carpet was the worst I had ever experienced in a hotel room.
