When I made the reservation online I specifically asked for a quiet room since we arrived late in the evening after a very long flight from Canada. We were assigned a room on the ground floor facing the street. When asked for a different room I was told that all room were occupied. To no surprise we got woken up by the street traffic, garbage truck and by the voices of peoples passing by the sidewalk In addition on the second day a construction/repair crew started digging right in front of our window. Also ventilation in the bathroom is very inefficient thus the all room was smelly.

I am just unable to understand the attitude towards visitor when a request is made , they keep insisting if we are sure of the short fall, especially I was not served bottles of water for one full day and when asked , repeatedly asking if I was sure, cant they just find out themselves and observe their short fall, also when I found more than 5 roaches , they asked me spray them my self , the staff need a good education of client service for sure. just because we have chosen this place it doesnt mean that we had no other choice .

I stayed in a deluxe room which I still cannot believe, it is a very small sized rooms with a high price tag due to the demand for the prime area. Felt very congested mentally only because of this reason, on the flip side it has amazing painting every where you walk, front line staff are really helpful and best thing is you can walk to train line in 3 mins, with good food availability everywhere

The so called deluxe rooms are little more than dungeons - tiny, no window, no air circulation, damp, no proper shower, just a shower head which sprays water everywhere.The superior rooms are bigger, with a window but still no air circulation, damp and no proper shower. So called luggage storage is just a corner of the reception area,open to the street and no security whatsoever.

Checkin already so late at 3pm yet the room was not ready, waited for more than 30mins to get the room. Room was not like the photo at all, looks completely different and the window can't even be opened as it was on the first floor. I wanted the 2nd floor view so upgraded to a useless superior room. Even asking for extra towels needed the approval from their manager and had to wait for very long for the manager's approval. Ridiculous. Extremely dissatisfied with their staff nonchalant attitude as well. Extremely disappointing.

Cute little place next to all little india shops and restaurants. Totally worth it for the price you pay. Staff are hard working. There was a bit of rush at checkin time and staff were trying hard to accommodate everyone. Carry $100 for deposit; if you put it on the card it can take upto a month to be refunded.

This is my 2nd times stayed here. I love the location which right next to MRT subway, right in the middle of Little india. The room was clean and bed comfy. This time we got the room which lower floor, basically the wall is next to the walk way(street). Sometimes there are people stop and start video call next to our window. Indian music from opposite shops crooss the street until 1-2am. Very early morning will be people waking you up every morning at 5am. Starting off load the groceries and gas tanks. What a fun trip!

Restroom is very very small.. literally no space for a shower. Facility wise, the hotel doesn’t have a n elevator.. so, we have to carry the big luggages over the stairs. Room is small too but in good condition. More of a motel with minimum facilities than a hotel. One great thing about this facility is that it is in center of all the dining options and next door to MRT station. Pretty close to all the major shopping centers - Tekku and Mustafa center. All the Hindu temples are nearby.

False advertising. The room that was given to me versus what I paid for was totally different. Specifically booked said room because of the amenities listed in both their website and Expedia listing. Room came with nothing as described, small and doesn’t look anything like pictures. Only stayed 1 night out of the 3 nights booked because defeats the purpose of being able to work from hotel. What’s worse is that it is non refundable too because of Expedia’s terms and condition. Even though not customer’s fault, property / Expedia refuse to accept that it’s false advertising. Huge disappointment. Only been given 2 free nights at the same hotel as compensation but honestly who would return?

Great location in exotic Little India, close to stores and affordable street food. Get a room with a window on the upper floor. The windows in the rooms on the first floor are directly looking out to the street so everyone can see into your room. The rooms are rather small for the price paid. Subway station is within 2 minute walk. 4 stops to Gardens by the Bay. Taxi to Chiangi airport takes about half hour and is about $19.
Form the airport you can take a shuttle for $9 per person.

Mixed feelings about my 3 nights stay here, although I must highlight that the bedding mix up was handled very well. Unfortunately I had spilled some curry on the room carpet, which I tried cleaning up as much as I could but I didn't have detergent. I reported the matter quickly but housekeeping said he would only attend to it the next day. The stains couldn't be removed by the time I checked out and I had to be charged $80 for the carpet replacement. If not for this episode, I would stay here again or recommend my foreign guests to. Overall good property but housekeeping staff needs to be equipped with right tools & sense of urgency to avoid similar incidents.

The location is very optimal for the purpose of my stay that is why I chose this hotel. There is no elevator in the building so I had to climb to 3rd floor but it is not a big deal for me as I only have a handcarry bag. The room size is sufficient for me as I am staying alone but not so sure if a couple is to stay there. I had problem connecting to the WIFI so had to look for the staff to rectify and was working fine since. You can hear people conversations along the corridor so the wall must be thin. There was loud Christmas music at 9am one morning and that woke me up. Some occupant was still making loud noise after 11pm one night and that keeps me up past midnight. The toilet has small basin and I had no place to place my toiletries so had to put it on top of the toilet bowl. There was no face or hand towel to use, just body towel. The fridge was so small that only 3 bottles of water can be stored and is not cold either. There is a safe box in the room which I did not use. The foldable table is tilted so had to use the chair as a table instead as the food or water will slide down. The room was small so had to be careful when walking around as I keep hitting the edge of the bed.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights, and it was a convenient option if you are looking for a decent and hassle-free experience. The location can't be more convenient – it is right next to the Little India MRT station if you like travelling by metro, and right next to a big road and a parking compound, if you're travelling with a car.

Needless to say, the building is steps away from restaurants and convenient stores. Yet, since it is also right next to the MRT, you are also just a few minutes away from Bugis and Chinatown for more variety of foods and goods.

The service is great. The staffs are as helpful as they can be at any hour and circumstances, and made every single experience really smooth.

The room itself is clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. There was no hot water though, which I thought should be included as a standard facility at this rate – but it is a minor issue given the warm climate. The walls are soundproof towards the other rooms, but not towards outside. If you have problems sleeping with sounds, it would be best not to book the windowed rooms. Limited amenities are provided, but it would be good to come up with a bit of yours as well.

I think for the price it was pretty good but it was just ok. We had a window and wifi and a private bathroom but it was just ok. It was so loud, I have never stayed anywhere so loud before. I think other reviewers mentioned it and I thought we'd be so tired from exploring wed be fine but we were woken up every single night. The bathroom was crazy small and it just felt a bit old. I really wanted to love it but I couldn't. The location to the subway was amazing!!

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, each time a different style of room. On my first visit, I stayed in the twin size- no window room. Quiet, clean, and affordable. My second stay was in a queen size bed - no windows and I felt the same way as my first stay, hence my return again.

This most recent stay I paid a little extra money to have a room with a window on the first floor (a plus because there is no elevator at the hotel so carrying luggage up 3 floors was a bit of a hassle the first few times) I regret paying extra money for this room because The proximity to the street and neighboring business made sleeping at night very very hard. It was the noisiest experience. There was a parking space outside of our window where cars and motorcycles came and left frequently, deliveries were made to the business next store, people talking, someone sweeping outside and spraying water along the sidewalk, a gong-like repeating sound (this all happened between the hours of 2am -7am). Do yourself a favor and save the money and opt out choosing a room with windows and stay in a quieter room upstairs with no windows! Beware of room 107! This is the room with the parking spot outside and closest to the neighboring business!

On a brighter note, staff is super friendly and rooms are decorated very cute and kept clean. Appreciated the daily water bottles and amenities offered here. Proximity to the SMRT train lines was great, just across the street! Big Tekka Center Market nearby

I had a completely unpleasant experience during my 2 night stay (22-24 Feb) at PARK 22 LITTLE INDIA.

Upon re-entering my room on Saturday evening (23 Feb) at approximately 11.45pm, I noticed that the soap dispenser in the toilet was completely different to the one that was installed when I first checked in.

As I had a do not disturb sign hung on my door throughout the period I was away on 23 Feb, I would’ve expected that even house-keeping would have respected my privacy. Therefore, this is a very concerning matter, as the soap dispenser appears to have been changed for no apparent reason (I have a running hypothesis that there was a camera in the dispenser). To make matters worse, the room was not even done-up.

Hence, this raises the question - who invaded the privacy of my room without Park 22 giving any prior notice?

The amount of trouble I had to go through to check that all my valuables and personal belongings were in order, as well as the lingering thought of having my safety compromised has truly ruined my stay at Park 22 Little India. (Fortunately, nothing was stolen, however I was extremely concerned that illicit goods were placed into my luggage)

I have brought this up with the receptionist and emailed PARK 22 LITTLE INDIA, but I have yet to receive any response to follow through with an investigation.

I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here based on the UNSAFE experience I have encountered.

Awesome location for th budget traveller

Park 22's location is absolutely unbeatable. Just steps outside the door and you're in the hustle and bustle of Little India with all its wonderful sights and smells. The Little India MRT station is just down the block and you can quickly access anywhere in the city with ease. The rooms are a bit small, but are cozy, clean, and comfortable. If you're traveling on a budget, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal in Singapore.

The Park 22 Hotel is a comfortable boutique hotel in a fantastic area of Little India Singapore, right on top of the Little India MRT station, we had a room on the third floor, it was windowless but must say the a/c was great and only staying overnight was no problem, we were able to extend our checkout time to 1pm free of charge and then we opted to buy 2 hrs more for $10 per hour. Then the reception kindly watched our luggage for the afternoon/early evening. While we walked around and did some shopping. Highly recommended the hotel it budget priced & in a good location for coming to and from Changi international airport.

Park 22 Hotel is a nice budget hotel, a minute's walk from Little India MRT station and a 5 minute walk to the main street with many excellent Indian restaurants and shops.
Be sure to book a room with a window. I didn't and the room and bathroom were so small. However for a budget hotel room, close to Little India, it was ideal for our one night stay. The room was clean. There is no lift, so ask for a room on the ground floor if that is a problem.

Hotel is of very close proximity to Little India station (public transport), with plenty of 24 hours eateries (mostly Indian) around (try Tekka market if you're going out in the morning). Room was smaller than expected but clean and comfortable, there was no fridge, and limited channels on the television and no windows for the room i booked. Design was monotoned and simple, pleasing to the eye. They do provide substaintial slippers (not the flimsy hotel kind) though so that's a plus point for me. If you have more than 2 medium sized luggages the room is probably not big enough though. Overall ok stay, not too bad but nothing mindblowing.

Fine little hotel

I stayed at this hotel with my family over 3 rooms. The hotel is located right next to the station and offers a great spot to explore little india. The rooms themselves were fairly spacious and well equipped and the house cleaners were great at cleaning and tidying while leaving everything where it was.
The shower in one of the rooms was a bit odd as it was placed nearly over the toilet with the drain on the other side of the bathroom which wasnt a huge deal just odd and got the entire shower room wet.
Our room on the second floor was perfectly quiet but my parents who were on the ground adjacent to the street had trouble sleeping every night due to loud trucks and people talking outside their room early in the morning. Seemed to mainly be an issue with the window not being sealed but when we spoke to the staff they said it was being fixed so hopefully an isolated issue.
Overall the hotel was a simple comfortable safe place to sleep with good access to the subway

Cons :- In spite of opting for a superior room the room size was very small. The bathroom was very small and not comfortable. The bathroom didn't had the shower jet to wash. It just had the tissue papers. The hotel didn't provide any soap on the wash basin or for the shower. They just had one dispenser of liquid soap.

Also the girl at the reception tried to extract extra money from me because i wanted to check in early at about 11:00 AM instead of their regular check-in time which is 2:00 PM. This was mentioned during the time of booking but my point is if the room is available then it should be provided to the guest & specially to those guest who are on a business visit. At first the girl asked for 40 SGD and then came down to 20 SGD. After a lot of request and explanation she allowed me to check in at no additional cost.

My suggestion would be not to opt for this hotel. there are other good hotels in the vicinity which the travelers can consider.

Convenient, quiet, clean.

Great little budget (for Singapore) Hotel, less than 100 M from the Little India MRT station. The hotel is basic but clean and had everything I needed for a 2 night stay. In the heart of Little India, so many places to eat and browse, in a less sanitized atmosphere than Orchard Road! plenty of colour and life.
The bathroom was compact, but I did not expect anything different. Wifi worked well.

Staff were friendly and really nice!

Location is great as it’s next to MRT station.

The only negative is rooms are ridiculously small especially the bathrooms.

There is no shower space so when you take a shower the entire bathrooom along with the sink, toilet, toiletries in the bathroom as well as the dust bin in the bathroom get soaked. That’s the one bit that’s extremely unpleasant.

Besides that no issues.

Small room but well located

We were immediately upgraded (FOC) to a superior room. Still surprised to find it was a 'wet bathroom' i.e. the shower base is the floor of the bathroom. Comfortable (queen) bed, quiet room (except for the rubbish collection in the morning - but at a civilised 8:00am), good TV (accepted USB for 'casting' from my Tablet). Location excellent. 2 minutes walk from a choice of excellent Indian eateries from breakfast to dinner. 3 minutes from the Little India MRT. Would stay here again thanks to it's excellent location alone.

This hotel is so good! Nice staff but bathroom so small and have noise around hotel but just weekends...when weekdays is nominal life it's quite. And this hotel is so soo nearly mrt little India exist E just around 100m.
