I had a terrible experience at RRPH. My two week stay began Sunday Dec 21, 2025. During my two week stay I went to the front desk to extend my stay one additional day. I spoke to the same staff member at the front desk on two separate occasions he assured me extending my stay one additional day would be no problem he quoted me the price of $55 or $75 dollars. Sunday January 4, 2026 I received a phone call from the front desk indicating I have over stayed my time at the hotel and there was no record of extending my stay an additional day. I was told the hotel is booked my room is needed and I must leave the room immediately. I requested to speak with the manager. I was told there was no manager on duty. I received no apology nor compensation. I look forward to hearing from Expedia and RRPH. I hope no other guest in the future experience what I did. Thank you

Our room had a cockroach issue for which we were moved to a different room. The second room had a leaking AC which made our suitcases wet and had a leaking bidet which dirtied our washroom floor. The front desk staff are very rude with the exception of one or two members. We had a missing outfit & personal towel that was taken by a housekeeper and the staff gave us runaround for three days until we finally put our foots down and they returned the items to us. Not sure how this hotel has 4 stars - we will never stay here again.

A basic requirement is that water is charged for when there is no notice that the client is being charged for water placed in the refrigerator.

Room was okay although the air conditioning unit that was leaking on the floor. I was moved rooms after asking. Other details in the room were a bit rough, sockets and lamps that don’t work and the bed was too big for the room it was in, leaving not a lot of space for luggage etc. Reception staff were okay, but not very warm or welcoming. Breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about. Location was not too bad, half way between airport and south zone. Overall average, and not really worth the price that is charged.

Horrible experiencia. El hotel estaba en una zona MUY FEA. Las condiciones del hotel son deplorables, camas chuecas, colchones viejos, ropa de cama manchada y desgastadas, paredes sucias, baños con moho, sucios. Me arrepiento de haberlo seleccionado. Te cobran el agua al final de la estancia, duré 3 noches solo fueron a limpieza una vez y fue despues de varias solicitudes.

I liked the property location to business, bars, restaurants and relatively close to the beach. The breakfast at the restaurant was great as well as the restaurant. There is a bar/pool in the penthouse where I met some other nice guests. The rooms were small, but had everything needed (minifrige, closet, safe). I am definitely going to consider this hotel for my next visit to Rio if the price is right.

Precisa de uma boa reforma e investimento. O hotel é antigo, tá bem mal cuidado. Colchão ruim, piso, parede e elevador precisam de um cuidado especial. A diária não foi barata, não oferecem nenhum amenitie no banheiro e ainda queriam me cobrar de novo na entrada, sendo que já havia pago pela plataforma. Outra coisa, dizem que tem estacionamento, mas quando chega lá, são vagas limitadas, então corre o risco de o carro ter que ficar na rua. O café da manhã tinha boas opções, e os meninos do buffet foram muito solicitos!

Horrible property! Pictures are deceiving! Stains all over my bed and towels. I requested a rend and they would not give it to me. I initially booked for 2 nights! But was left 1 hour after check in! And found a better hotel. That is how disgusting this place was! Do NOT STAY HERE!!

Un dia no habia agua por la mañana, luego el aire acondicionado se rompiò lo reportè temprano y lo arreglaron a la hora de la siesta, quedò todo el sucio y ni siquiera ofrecieron una disculpa ni cambiarme de habitación. Pesima la atención de las personas del lobby. Pareciò no les importa el cliente..la señora de la limpieza muy amable colocò unas toallas porque el piso estaba mojado, porque el aire seguia tirando agua.

We stayed 3 nights and loved the location of this hotel. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast, pool and steam room. Our only problem was that the shower flooded the bathroom way too easily. Also, the headboard was fractured.

The towels, sheets are very dirty, we could see the darker spots on the white towels. Looks like they use the bathroom towels to clean the floor.
The bathroom have a lot of mold around the shower and the sink. They could use bleach to clean.

We stayed there twice during our trip to Brazil.
The first time we reserved a Deluxe room with 2 twin beds, and actually got a full bed with 2 pillows and a twin bed with 1 pillow.
The 2nd time we reserved a standard room and got 2 twin beds with 1 pillow. The room was smaller. The beds had no top sheets when we checked in,but that was not a problem; the maid gave us top sheets.
Both rooms were noisy at night until about 10:30 PM. The first room faced the street and there was a small bar across the street. The 2nd room faced a courtyard which had some music going until 10:30 one night.

The staff was very accommodating and usually spoke some English

The porters should be greeting the guests as any other hotel in the world since they are the first face once we arrive.

My stay was good I enjoyed the rooms with working ac, breakfast, and amenities. I reserved 2 rooms that were the same and they were very distinct from each other after checking in. One was very superior from the other in regards to upkeep, looks and space. I have no complaints the only thing i would mention is to, not have that difference in regards to quality and maintenance throughout the rooms. Other than that I had a great stay.

Staff were excellent. My best friend fell because her knee is bad. We had to book a stay for one more night due to her injury. The staff let us use the same room and we didn’t have to inconvenience my friend in pain. They got us a wheelchair. Around the hotel is noisy due to construction but our stay was excellent! The highlights were the breakfast—very good and diverse offerings—and the garage staff—always willing and quick with the car. Everything else was subpar at best. Rooms on the 11th floor smelled of swage. Bathroom did not have hot water. Room service menu was always out of some of the options. And the room cleaning staff kept forgetting things, like one evening I walked into my room to see I had no towels whatsoever. Would not stay there again.

PRECAUCION: En el 'Front Desk' tienen un rótulo indicando que ellos te proveen de agua pero cuando hicimos el 'check out' nos cobraron todas las botellas de agua que nos dejaban en la nevera todos los dias. Cuando le reclamé me indicaron que no incluia el agua embotellada. Solamente el agua que pidieras en vasos en el restaurante. Que en ningun hotel en el mundo el agua enbotellada en los cuartos era gratis, cuando yo sé, por experiencia, que eso no es cierto. En ningun lugar de la habitacion decia que iban a cobrar las botellas de agua.
En cuanto a limpieza, encontramos jabones usados en la ducha.
De lo demas, muy buena localizacion, a pasos de buenos lugares para comer y comprar. A pasos de la playa Flamengo y el desayuno bastante variado.
