Mattress is about 3 inches thick. Pillows were smelly. Shower was leaking water outside into the hallway. Breakfast is very basic. Better than not having a place to sleep at all. Reception was available 24 hours, unlike the information I received stated.

The area is terrible. Very dirty, noisy, a lot of homeless people. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff and the breakfast. I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers, especially first time in Brazil. I was so shocked and scared to leave my room.

I reserved a room for my wife, she was going to stay there for 8 nights, when she checked in they accommodated her in a room with no windows, mold everywhere, stinky, dirty, TV not working, etc….. she had to spend the night because it was late, in the morning she went to the front desk to cancel the rest of days, and we couldn’t get any refund…. That’s stealing peoples money..

Eu passei quase 2 semanas hospedada e o hotel é ok. O atendimento na recepção foi muito bom e eficiente. Os pontos negativos é que alguns dias tinham hospedes fumando nos corredores e colocando som alto. As moças que limpavam esqueciam de deixar itens de higiene no banheiro. Se eu pudesse dá uma nota seria 7.

This property is disgusting. I started to feel sick and didn’t know why until I was sick of the room. The windows were not shut completely, which led me to believe that someone was going to enter and try to take my stuff. Nothing happened. However, under the sink, there was so much mold and disgusting things, the air conditioner was not secured to the wall and there was mold around it as well on the furniture had mold behind it. The bed smelled horrible. I left and not fine the front desk of my findings. I don’t believe they will do anything about it.

Breakfest was great, a lot of options incluiding several types of bread, a lot of cheese and cold cuts, sweets, lots of fruits and drinks options. They left some of the food avaliable for guests to eat during the day, which I tought was super cool.
Bed wasn't very confortable, but it was big and clean. Really close to a lot of touristic spots in the city center, walking distance to everything in Lapa.

No dia de me hospedar o hotel entrou em contato comigo falando que não tinha condições de me receber, deram a opção de cancelar ou realocar para um hotel parceiro. Então já que é parceiro vou considerar também isso para avaliação. Ficamos no Parque Hotel, que é bem mais barato, porém não recebemos nenhum reembolso parcial. Dando a entender que ainda ganharam vantagem, pois paguei o preço do Villa Rica. Quando chegamos no hotel, nos barraram falando que o Villa Rica não tinha comunicado nada, entramos em contato e conseguiram um quarto. O quarto não tinha ar condicionado, tivemos que deixar uma janela aberta que dava pro poço de ar, que por ser primeiro andar ainda estava sujo, também não tinha comunicação com a portaria, o ralo do banheiro estava bem entupido, os funcionários não queriam ajudar. Por exemplo, de dia fomos pedir roupa de cama e falaram que só forneciam a noite, mas a noite quando pedimos falaram que tinha acabado e que era pra ter pedido de dia.Na saída ficamos esperando e gritando alguém para abrir, pois a funcionária estava distraída. De bom somente o fato do quarto estar limpo, e o café da manhã simples porém ok (aliás as funcionárias da cozinha são as mais educadas e simpáticas).

Aseo. El cuarto cumple con lo que promete. El asignado era muy pequeño. Dos camas individuales para personas no más altas de 1.80 y de contextura normal. Bastante angostas pero cumplen para el descanso. La ropa de cama estaba rota por desgaste. Almohadas bien. Colchón bueno.
Baño. Excelente ducha. Buena agua caliente. El lavabo y el inodoro son viejos. Funcionales. No me gustó que tuviera asiento acolchado (gusto personal). El cuart solo lo asean por pedido. Tenían 4 toallas para dos personas, lo que esta ok.
Seguridad de la zona. Tomar en cuenta que es el casco histórico de Río, en un barrio histórico como es Lapa. Sumarle que si en Río hay indigencia en esta zona por demás, aunque no se meten con nadie. Cada quien en lo suyo. Pero siempre hay que andar con el cuidado de cualquier gran ciudad. Saliendo del hotel a unos pasos está Escalera de Selarón con su ambiente de bares y fiesta; en cualquier otra dirección y a menos de una cuadra hay ambiente bohemio, bares, música en vivo y comida, tanto de restaurante como callejera. Baño. Excelente ducha. Buena agua caliente. El lavabo y el inodoro son viejos. Funcionales. No me gustó que tuviera asiento acolchado (gusto personal). El cuart solo lo asean por pedido. Tenían 4 toallas para dos personas, lo que esta ok.
Seguridad de la zona. Tomar en cuenta que es el casco histórico de Río, en un barrio histórico como es Lapa. Sumarle que si en Río hay indigencia en esta zona por demás, aunque no se meten con nadie. Cada quien en lo suyo. Pero siempre hay que andar con el cuidado de cualquier gran ciudad. Saliendo del hotel a unos pasos está Escalera de Selarón con su ambiente de bares y fiesta; en cualquier otra dirección y a menos de una cuadra hay ambiente bohemio, bares, música en vivo y comida, tanto de restaurante como callejera. Gostaria de deixar um elogio ao Neto, que fez meu check in ainda cedo, por volta das 07:30. Havia um quarto disponível e ele liberou para mim. Sei que esse tipo de ocorrência não é comum em hotéis, onde o check in é cada vez mais tardio (14h, 15h). Esse gesto de gentileza me deixou muito feliz com o estabelecimento. Parabéns, Neto!

Bem quando cheguei já não gostei da novidade não tinha internet e o aparelho de tv só funciona se vc tiver alguma assinatura,fora isso vc não vê nada, os canais sem pagar não tinha e sem internet aí eu fui pra rua.
