This hotel has a prime view out over the stunning Riazor beach. Pay extra and get a view out over the ever changing turbulent Atlantic.
The reception and bar are both large marble spaces meaning they are impressive but rather sterile.
The bar is also the dining area which means there is a conflict of interest with one day there being a social gathering and when there are diners you cannot sit at the seaview tables.
The rooms have stunning views with large glass frontage. The beds are comfortable but the organisation of the rooms is odd with little storage space and empty spaces.
Breakfast seemed ok but service was not very friendly or helpful.

Perfect A Caruna getaway
Stayed at Riazor after a week on the Camino de Santiago. Was a great location to relax. Our room overlooked the beach. Hotel is convenient to everything. Staff are pleasant. Rooms are clean. I highly recommend this property.

Problems with water supply, water from taps dark brown, reception stated we could have extra bottled water but when we came back refused as said water had been fixed but who would like to use it after what we saw! Also BEWARE, we paid extra for sea view but photos and description do not show a big pillar in the middle of the room which blocks the sea view from the bed!

Had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Check-in was easy and efficient after a long a stressful travel day. Despite being on the 2nd floor, there was a break in the trees across the street allowing a beautiful view of the bay. Don’t know if the rooms either side of me had as good of a view. I watched the waves for hours, especially as a storm rolled in. Location was nice and central, and the bed was comfortable. Despite being right on a busy road, room was well-soundproofed. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a property with minimum hospitality
Due to my health issue, I had to change my schedule to A Coruna and asked the hotel to change the booking to next day. I am aware of the fact that it was a non refundable booking but hotel can make exception as I was not canceling and also I am a platinum member. This hotel did the same during COVIT period when there was a travel restriction although the hotel in Madrid refunded without any problem. Hotel Riazor is a very non cooperative property even when I stayed few times. Even there is no attendant in the breakfast room and staff are not friendly. I will never choose this hotel in future

Location was great and a wonderful view of the bay. For a 4 star hotel, I found the staff indifferent and aloof. The breakfast had good variety but the food was cold both days, scrambled eggs & bacon should be hot … a lack of attention to detail and perhaps a misunderstanding of expectations.

We stayed at this hotel, the second night, while diong the walk to Santiago de Compostela, using the English way. Our first night in Ferrol was at a different hotel. After walking stage, one, we had a taxi pick us up in Neda and bring us to this hotel. Everything I can say about the service and the hotel itself were outstanding. Their price is so good that it was even $10 cheaper than the hotel we stayed at the night before also in Ferrol. Indeed, the service was so good, that they helped get us dinner earlier than what is usually the Spanish standard, they prepared the meal for us by 7 PM. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, comfort, cleanliness, and very modernized. My partner says that the fish he had was outstanding, and I had pork it was also very good..

Lovely hotel and staff - we had a room on the 7th Floor with views across Riazor beach and the whole bay! From that height you can clearly see the 2,000 year old working lighthouse right around to the other headland. Seemed to spend ages just looking out at the beach, sea, and the lovely sunset.

The bedrooms are exactly as shown - very modern, very new and very clean. We upgraded to a beach view - and that was great, even though it rained everyday. The front desk person, Isabel was very kind and patient, the night desk person, Victor gave us great suggestions about the train schedules to Santiago. The breakfast bar staff, Mayka was so friendly and cheerful- someday we did full breakfast, other days we did coffee only. The location is easy to get to the park, the casino and the shopping districts. Loved everything about Riazor!!

Fabulous hotel, extremely well styled and modern interiors. Everything worked great and the sea view rooms really do have a superb view. If I had to state one negative point it would be that the Wi-Fi is desperately slow and phone reception is quite weak on Movistar and Yoigo. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again, I really look forward to the next stay here, hopefully summertime next time however.

We had a great experience at the hotel Riazor given it's wonderful views over the sea from a stunning balcony on the top floor. There's not much more to say about the hotel given that all aspects of it were positive. if one were to look for negatives then you might feel that the hotel was a little bit out from the centre of town, but then for beach lovers it's a fantastic location. And, in any case, the 'centre of town' in terms of decent restaurants is only 5-15 minutes away depending on how far you wnat to walk. We a couple of stunning meals in A Coruna - which just off the Plaza Mayor 15 minutes away or at a small argentinian/ galician restaurant just five minutes from the door of the hotel - what a great place to visit. So all in all the hotel made a very positive contibiution to our stay in the City.

My only qualm was with the gym in the basement, I like to use it each morning but there were warms of tiny flies in there, must have been an infestation of some kind so I did'nt stay long.
