A localização é ótima! Relativamente próxima à Lapa e ao comércio. Os quartos são bem organizados e os funcionários muito prestativos e educados. Me hospedei no Ibis Budget Rio de Janeiro com mais duas pessoas, entre os dias 1º e 5 de janeiro de 2026, e a experiência foi muito ruim para o valor pago.
Começando pelo quarto: o chuveiro é separado do vaso sanitário, o que até seria aceitável, porém nenhuma das portas fechava corretamente. Além disso, a fresta do vidro do box permitia ver claramente quem estava tomando banho. Mesmo estando entre pessoas conhecidas, privacidade é o mínimo esperado, ainda mais considerando que estávamos com uma senhora de mais de 65 anos. Situação totalmente desconfortável e inaceitável.
Ao entrar no quarto, não havia toalhas, travesseiros e lençóis suficientes para todos, o que demonstra falta de atenção básica na preparação da acomodação.
O café da manhã foi outro grande problema: o espaço não comportava a quantidade de hóspedes. Estava sempre lotado, com filas e desconforto, a ponto de muitas pessoas precisarem se deslocar até outro Ibis para conseguir tomar café.
Destaco apenas dois pontos positivos: o João, responsável pelo nosso andar, que foi extremamente atencioso e solícito, e algumas (eu disse algumas) pessoas da recepção, que foram educadas e prestativas.
Por outro lado, considero abusivo o valor cobrado pela água de 510 ml a R$ 11,00, algo que não condiz nem com o padrão do hotel nem com o que se vê em muitas outras capitais, inclusive após diversas viagens que já fiz.

Minha estadia foi com minha esposa e filha, quarto pequeno, não tinha frigobar, não foi mencionado durante o fechamento que o estacionamento era pago. O banheiro não estava limpo.

A grande vantagem do Ibis centro do Rio é estar próximo a metro, VLT e Lapa. O acesso à praia é feito por transporte público em 20 minutos e à Lapa a pé em 10 minutos. O quarto tem bom tamanho, mas o banheiro (vaso sanitário) é muito pequeno. O restaurante do hotel tem bons preços e bons pratos.

Check-in demorado. Cabelos do hóspede anterior no banheiro. O som da festa na praça ao lado do hotel entrou para o quarto como se não tivesse parede, me impedindo de dormir. A festa foi até quase de manhã, e consegui dormir por volta de 05:00 da madrugada. Planejei dormir até 11:00, visando recuperar a noite perdida, mas, embora eu tivesse que realizar o checkout naquela manhã, fui acordado pela camareira 2 vezes ao longo da manhã. Não havia placa \"não perturbe\" para deixar na porta.

The bugs and ants at room... They don't get any action to change my room first night, then I forced to stay at room where there was bugs everywhere at room. Not clean sheets and toilet.

This is like a half-star hotel. I had to find somewhere else to stay. This place is not like it looks in the photos. The room was extremely small, the toilet is in a one-meter box, and the walls were dirty with poop. There was no place to store the clothes, not even a minibar to cool some water. This is also the worst area to stay in Rio, it’s ugly and doesn’t feel safe at all. If this is your first time visiting and you expect a comfortable stay, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay…

O sanitário fica sobre um degrau e deve incomodar pessoas baixas. A pia, por outro lado, é mais baixa que o normal. O chuveiro não tem box, mas cortina e não tem barreira para conter a água que espalha um pouco pro meio do banheiro. O chuveiro é a gás, a água quente tem pouca vazão e esquenta o suficiente pro banho apenas. O café é muito bom.

O hotel não está em boas condições físicas - o mobiliário parece não ter manutenção. Fiquei preso por um tempo no elevador e ninguém atendeu o interfone ou ouviu o alarme. O quarto ficou sujo por 2 dias com sujeira \"pesada\". Não tem frigobar ou interfone. Se tiver um problema, tem que ir pro ramal que fica no corredor. Acho o Budget mais eficiente, mas esse estava com baixo nível.
