I really enjoyed my stay here. The check-in process, the breakfast, the staff...everything was going well beyond expectations until...the check out. I was charged for the entire room snack bar selections and drinks, even though we only grabbed one of the kitkats. I let them know and they then got aggressive and even said that if it wasn't me it was the other person in the room because the snacks had been "restocked" in our room. I told them that no staff had even been in the room other than for room service because we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door the whole trip.

The pillows was very hard. I had to call to switch them. The shower was bad the water jet went to everywhere but myself . I guess this was the last time I stayed there.

The area is actually really nice. Local vibe and lively, pretty safe. Services were good. I don't like the smell of our room, musty and sewer like. We opened the windows, it felt fresher. but then the mosquitoes came in. The bed sheets were yellowish, like old sweat. I had never seen any hotel with that kind of bed sheets. Change it to the standard white, please.

That said, everything else made up for it—the highlight was definitely the rooftop pool, which was a perfect way to cool off and relax. This hotel is nowhere near a 4* rating. Staff barely speak English, there is constant noise from the water pipes, thin walls ( you can hear everything), etc. Also, nobody seems to record any incidents. The only good thing about it was the selection of fresh fruits for breakfast and coffee.

Hotel is located in a good area with few options for restaurant and also grocery shopping near by. The room is nice but noisy, it feels as if people in the hallway are inside your room. One good thing that I really want to share is the water pressure in the shower, it was amazing! One of the best experiences I ever had with showers, this one was amazing!

My stay at this Windsor hotel was okay. The rooms provided weren't 5 star but we were able to get sleep. Beds were comfortable and quiet. Room service did a great job as well. The breakfast was good, and the dinner was also good. The surrounding area can get a little busy and some homeless folks can be spotted here and there but overall we felt safe going outside. Also what's nice is the entrance is not on the main road, which is great as it's easier to get ubers and not just anyone can just walk up to you. Staff was nice and welcoming, although there was a minor incident with the front desk when we checked out. But it wasn't a big enough issue to ruin our experience overall

I had already paid Hotels.com in full for the two days, back on July 5, 2023. I checked my credit card statement to verify payment. However Florida Windsor said they never received the payment. The stay was very comfortable. Although it's not by the beach and does not have an ocean view the hotel is well located close to a busy, safe street. (The beaches in Flamengo are not for swimming anyway, nor are the beaches in Copacabana or Ipanema for that matter because of sewage.) There are many restaurants, shops, markets, pharmacies, bars close by, and just around the corner is a self-service laundromat, which is great to use. The food in the hotel is fine, although after five days of the same breakfast, we were a bit tired of the same menu. Maids make up the room nicely and leave extra towels if you ask. I usually left them 10-20 reais tip. Our room was the higher end executive room, so it was plenty spacious, though not huge, and had a nice bathtub with hydromassage. Really clean and fine.

I stayed in Brazil for 2 weeks in 7 different hotels. This is the worst out of the 7. First of all, as a VIP member, I didn't get any benefits from the hotel, no upgrade, no greetings, nothing at all. Secondly, the room we got was extremely small (and cannot be upgraded); The last but worst part is the dirty of the room. My girlfriend felt ichy after sleeping there for one night, we have to call the clean lady to come and replace all the bad sheets so that she was able to sleep well on the second day.
Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel as it received the lowest score among my 7 hotels in Rio.
