The hotel is located in one of the oldest area of Rio, close to the Lapa Arch. It’s surrounded by bar clubs and restaurants. It seems that the entire area is opened 24hrs. The building of the hotel is probably old but it’s been renovated, especially the bathroom.
The breakfast is very good, lots of fruits, breads, juices, cakes. I am not sure if it’s because of Carnival since the hotel is crowded with tourists, but I enjoyed every minute of it, especially pao de queijo (cheese ball)

1. Room is very dark, lights need replacing to brighten up the room.
2. Towels were horrible. Very tatty and scratchy, even have holes. They looked like they were once white now greyish and just disgusting.
3. Pillows were horrible, lumpy. I can only dseceibe it as when you wash a duvet and they end up the insides clumpy.
4. Broken facilities like hairdrier (even after changing, just didnt work), light bulbs. The curtains look really dirty.

The staff are courteous and helpful, however the hotel's physical condition is poor - it does not match promotional photos. Dingy room paint and bathrooms needing renovation contribute to an unkempt aesthetic. More pressingly, ineffective cleaning causes strange odors property-wide. Finally, noisy outdated air conditioners fail to properly cool rooms. The one bright spot is the decent pool area. Significant facility updates would better align reality to marketing for this hotel.

This was the optimum place to stay for Carnival. I was able to take a nice jog in the neighborhood in the morning. This place is beautiful as it showed. Clean and spacy room for the price. The surroundings of the hotel is a little bit weird, especially during the night, but I felt safe inside the Hotel. La struttura si trova in una zona non propriamente bellissima, ovvero Lapa. Uscendo dalla struttura troverete veramente moltissimi barboni. Noi siamo andati durante il carnevale e c'era molta confusione e sporcizia nella zona. La camera era di dimensioni accettabili, così come il bagno. Unica pecca era la pulizia, infatti le nostre pantofole hanno raccolto tutto lo sporco per terra diventando con le suole nere. Camminare scarzi era quindi sconsigliato. Colazione discreta.

O hotel e bem bom mas a limpeza acredito que pela alta rotatividade deixa a desejar, a piscina estava com a água bem turva. O quarto grande e bom, mas no banheiro o local de por o shampoo e condicionador estava fora do lugar, sem manutenção então era preciso por no chão, o espelho de aumento fora de um lugar acessível para uso. O cardápio tinha valores diferentes para o 12 andar, o da piscina e o do restaurante para o mesmo prato. No café da manhã eles vão tirando os utensílios e limpando a mesa por cima da gente, o guardanapo chegou a cair em cima do pudim que eu estava comendo. A máquina de café não funciona bem mas eles dizem que e sempre assim e que ela não e do hotel. A localização e ótima e fica perto das atrações.

Para completar, foi dito que “na próxima vez eu deveria ligar”, algo que eu efetivamente fiz, além de enviar mensagem dentro do prazo estabelecido.
É importante destacar que a comunicação não é responsabilidade exclusiva do hóspede. Um hotel que preza pelo atendimento deveria, no mínimo, confirmar a situação do cliente, retornar a ligação ou responder a mensagem — especialmente quando envolve uma família em viagem. Isso não aconteceu.
