It is located literally 5 meters from Asakusa station exit a2b. The Keisei limited express train from Narita goes directly to the Asakusa station (take exit a2b or a2b and turn left) without the need to transfer train. Lots of food and shopping options. Senso-ji temple is an easy 5 minute walk. The rooms are tiny! Expected of a room in Tokyo. However it is very clean. Considering that I was only there to sleep, not a big deal that it was tiny. The view from the rooftop patio was amazing. Check it out at night to see Tokyo Skytree lit up and see it again in the morning to catch the sunrise. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and spoke fluent English. The hotel offers luggage forwarding service. I was able to forward my luggage from this hotel to my next hotel in Kyoto for ~$30CAD.

Nice place! I enjoyed my stay. Rooftop is nice to hang out enjoy food and the nice view. Sensoji temple is right in front and 15 to 20 min walk to Ueno. The room is a bit smaller than I thought but didn't matter anyway. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Room is small but that's normal in Japan. The hotel was in a great location close to the train station. The rooftop view was so beautiful and each night we would enjoy sitting up there. In the morning we would have our breakfast which was provided with our stay. A pastry and a beverage was included each day.
Would stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful.

In terms of pros, Hotel Wing International Select Asakusa Komagata is in a great location - steps away from Nakamise Shopping Street/Asakusa Shrine and right beside the Asakusa Station A2b elevator exit, making transportation and moving with luggage convenient. In addition, the hotel can hold your luggage ahead of check-in time. We also received a drink and a piece of baked good for breakfast for free unexpectedly. Furthermore, the rooftop provides a view of Tokyo Skytree. Some caveats are the small room, the limited room cleaning provided, and a weird smell in the room. Although we knew when booking that the room would be small, we were not prepared for the limited space in the bathroom and lack of room for opening luggages. As for cleaning, we had to put our garbage outside the room and hang the used towels in a bag on the door. As long as you are prepared to just sleep in your room, this is a great choice.

Very convenient to get to Narita airport. You just walk a minute and there are lifts down to the station, and straight to the airport on the Asakusa line. The bigger rooms have enough space for luggage (not under bed storage). Tiny bathroom as most Japanese hotels at this price point. Staff were super nice. The tourist area is walking distance with plenty of shops and restaurants, including 24 hr Don Quijote and ramen spops. 7/11 is across the street for all your snacks. There is a microwave at reception. All in all a very convenient stay and we did not regret it. Thanks

The staff were nice and helpful with any questions or requests. The building was easy to see and get to. Train stations right by it. Room was small and cozy, Japanese style futons were actually really comfy. The bathroom was pretty small, like a camper size. I'm 5'10\" and skinny and it was pretty tight but manageable, so do with that what you will. I'd say if you're a man that is US size XL or bigger you'd have problems fitting in the bathroom. I would stay here again for sure.

Hotel was clean and very well located. I have literally never seen such a small room in my life though! You had to crawl into bed since there was not even an inch to walk around it! Luckily we weren't in the room except to sleep so it was fine but if you want to be there at all, think twice. Laundry facilities were sparse and had to camp out in order to use a machine but rooftop was fantastic.

The rooftop area was one of the best features of this hotel. You get a direct view of the sky tree. It’s worth visiting during the day and at night.

Reliable stay with a great location

My partner and I stayed here a few times in the past and have always enjoyed our stay here. The hotel and room itself is a decent size for Tokyo accommodations.

One of the main reasons we've continued to stay at this hotel is for the amazing location. Super short walk to Sensoji and Nakamise-dori street, you can't beat it.

Since our last stay in May 2024, they've changed a few policies. The most noticeable one for us was that they no longer allowed guests who have checked out to store their luggage at the hotel (only guests who are checking in for the day can store their luggage there). This was a major bummer for us as we still had a whole day left until our flight back home. I assume this must be because they don't have enough space which is understandable but still unfortunate. The staff recommended coin lockers and also gave us directions to a luggage storage shop 4 mins up the street (by walking).

Great little hotel in the heart of the city! Rooms were very small as expected of Tokyo. Good amount of closet and counter space with space to put luggage under the bed. This is important because some hotels don’t even have one closet. Bathrooms are extremely small for a twin bedroom. So, if you’re tall, it will be tough. Great location and 10 seconds walk to a train station. Laundry is there but the dryer isn’t great; took a few cycles to get clothes dry. They said it depends on the clothes but we used machines in our Kyoto hotel and it dried very well in one extra cycle. Overall a great place to stay and have access to places around.

A lovely and convenient hotel in Asakusa

Clean bed & toilet, beds were comfortable, conveniently located few steps away from Asakusa Line which is direct train from Narita Airport. Also near the Ginza line which is one train station away from Shibuya, Ginza ans Ueno. It’s near so many great restaurants like Gyukatsu Asakusa, and near Sensoji Temple which is a very nice temple especially at Night. Also, the view from the rooftop so beautiful!

The hotel location is perfect. It’s next to an elevator from Asakusa station which makes it easy to get luggage from the station to the hotel and to do day trips to other parts of Japan due to how close it is to Ueno station.

The hotel is small but thats not unexpected for Tokyo. Leaving luggage after check out incurs a fee (this hasnt been the case at other Japanese/Tokyo hotels ive stayed in but the hotel is small so this is understandable).

For the cost and location the hotel is more than suitable.

Only stayed here one night before heading to Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a great selection of toiletries in the lobby along with a free drink and bun in the morning. Good area and very convenient to explore the nearby temple. The room and bathroom were tiny! This wasn’t really an issue for us but not sure I’d want to stay more than one night as it really was cramped and the shower was also very, very small. If you’re travelling alone it might be ok but not if you have a normal-sized suitcase. I would recommend this hotel for the location and price but just be warned that the rooms really are tiny!

Overall this is a good place to stay. The location is convenient, there is a lovely rooftop terrace and the rooms, although small are fine. The problem is the checkout experience. We arrived early on the day we checked in and the room was not ready however the staff stored our luggage until check in time. When it was time to check out, we left to checkout at 7:30 am as we were going on a tour. We brought our luggage down and were told that they could only store it until 11 am ( checkout time). They gave me a tag to take the luggage somewhere else 300 metres away. I told them we were going on a tour and I did not have time to do that - but could return at 12 noon. There was no flexibility at all. They insisted I come back by 11. If this is the policy, they should make it clear to guests that they will not store luggage after checkout time ( which is very unusual for a hotel). We had to leave the tour early to come back for the luggage. On top of that, the tag is to take it to an expensive storage place which I discovered after. There are many lockers closer and cheaper, so taking it to the place they suggest is just poor advice. Other than the checkout experience, which really made our last day a less than pleasant experience, we were pleased with the stay.

Location is great, very close to Asakusa Subway station. Bathroom is really small. When you sit on a toilet seat your knees touch the wall (kind of like sitting in economy class seat) if you’re tall. My room was small too. If you stay with your partner or family it would be okay. I wouldn’t stay here with friends… no personal space at all. If you’re okay with tight space this hotel is fine.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating: they graciously allowed us to keep our luggage there for a while after we checked out. They also sold cardboard boxes, which was very useful for us as we needed it for additional luggage. Rooms are small but clean.

The location is very good: less than one minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line. Very convenient to go to Haneda Airport. Would consider again when I come to visit Japan again.

I politely approached the front desk and explained that I am extending my stay that day until 1pm. He said “NO”. I tried to explain to him that I had spoken to a lady the night before and she told me I could and that I agreed to pay and that my transportation from the hotel to the airport will not be available until 1pm. He proceeded to say NO NO NO and pointed to his badge and said I’M MANAGER. I didn’t argue anymore. I took my THREE CHILDREN and our four big luggages out of that hotel and proceeded to walk in the rain. We found a nearby Starbucks and waited there for my friend to arrive. My children and I were wet because of the heavy rain.

The Wing International Select Asakusa is truly an incredible place to stay for any and all types of travellers or nationals. The staff at the hotel are very kind and will go out their way to help you with your every day activities.

Cleanliness is top notch. Amenities provided exceeded expectations - i was provided with a shampoo, conditioner, body wash, with other toiletries, there’s also a coffee machine, kettle, phone and hairdryer provided in your room with other things such as irons and trouser pressing available to borrow from reception. If you forget something of this nature, it’s likely you’ll be provided with it in your hotel room free of charge anyway! There’s also a coin washing service for your clothes if needed.

Each morning you’ll be provided with a complimentary breakfast bun / pastry and juice of your choice. Lots of choice and different choices are provided each day.

Beds are super comfy and pillows are even more comfortable. You’re also given a choice of pillows if need be (e.g. low rebound foam pillow). Bathroom is great, the shower is powerful and the bath is big enough for a quick hot soak if you want.

The location of the hotel is incredible for getting around Tokyo. it’s ideal as it’s located 10 seconds away from a train station and links to other lines close by.

Amazing views from the hotel roof terrace shouldn’t be missed!

I really can’t explain enough how fantastic my stay at the Asakusa Wing Intl Select hotel was! 10/10

Rooms are smaller than a closet, literally... and for US$180 per night, I considered a rip-off. This hotel should be listed as a Hostel and not a Hotel and lower their price accordingly, I would say max US$65

The location is great, door steps from a subway.

The bathroom was smaller than a business class airline bathroom.... no matter how they show their rooms pictured in their webpage, believe me, if you are a couple with two suitcases... you will have to take turns to open them... all you do in this tiny room, is done on top of the bed, sitting, dressing, reading and undoing your suitcases. Would have been better off getting a cubicle instead. NOT WORTHY......

The front desk young lady (Irish?) helped us check-in without any language issue. We are surprised that the hotel room and toilet are so small, although we prepared ourselves. But it was actually ok for us (2 adults + 2 little children) just for staying at nights, as it's a Japanese style room. Just pushed the futons to one side of the room and we got enough space for our 2 big suitcases. The balcony door was locked, maybe coz of the kids' safety issue. It was cold close to the balcony door because the cold wind leaked from the gaps of the door. We had to use an extra blanket to block the wind.
When I booked, it showed 1 light breakfast for each room. While checked in, we actually got 4 light breakfast dockets per day, even our younger son was only 15mo.
Location location location! The lift to the Asakusa Line station is only about 30m away. Very convenient to go to either Narita or Haneda airports. Also very close to Ginza Line station.
Btw: \"Kitakata Ramen Bannai Asakusa 喜多方ラーメン坂内浅草店\" serves quite nice ramen.

Superb hotel, small but adequate. Using space really well, luggage storage under the bed and has a wardrobe. Bathroom is the smallest; anyone 6 feet above may have difficulties moving around. Simple breakfast provided, and good enough for tourists on a tight itineries. Top floor provides magnificent view of Asakusa skyline. Close to train station, just 20m walk from Asakusa line exit A2A. Sensoji temple just about 500m away. Convenient stores like Family Mart and Aeon around the corner. Laundry can be done with ¥500.

Close to everything!

Great place to stay! Easy access to everything with the train and subway 5 minutes away. Beautiful view from the top floor area. Very small room but still functional. Bed was a bit hard for me but I'd stay again for sure.

Superb location..

Direct train from Narita airport , steps away from asakusa station. Excellent service . Must visit the rooftop for the spectacular view. I commend the efficient service of the staff specially Mr. Oda. The hotel staffs are warm, friendly and welcoming at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back soon.
