The staff is excellent. They greet you with a smile. The manager is very attentive and does his best to help you with any concerns. Parking is $30 unless you wish chance parking outside within the area. Rooms were very clean and in order. Unfortunately people smoke in their rooms but their is no control over this.

El tamaño de la habitación es grande para ser NY eso es un punto positivo. Lo terrible fue que nunca limpiaron la habitación en todos los días que estuve, la puerta no funcionó nunca de la manera correcta. No cerraba con llave o a veces ni siquiera abría. Ni hasta los mismos empleados del hotel pudieron abrirla. Un día llegué a media noche y no abría la puerta y no había nadie quien pudiera abrirla. Tuve que esperar minutos intentando y intentando hasta que la puerta reaccionó y se abrió. Eso si el personal siempre fue amable pero esas cosas hacen que le baje la puntuación

I have just checked into the hotel, and the first thing I can say is—don’t always believe everything you read in reviews. Based on what I saw online, I had little to no expectations, but from the moment I checked in to actually lying down in my room, this place has drastically surpassed my expectations.

The front desk staff was extremely friendly, which was the complete opposite of what many reviews mentioned. Check-in took less than five minutes—again, the opposite of what I read. Upon entering my room, everything was clean, the bed is extremely large and very comfortable, and the view from the 9th floor is absolutely breathtaking.

I’ll provide another update at the end of my stay, but as of now, I can proudly say that I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends.

Hotel was ok. The location wasn't good, a bit dangerous but there was always police around. The location was convenient because was 5 min was from the subway station, and 20 min away from any main attractions.
The very very bad thing is that the hotel didn't have HOT WATER. It would be warm and not hot. We complaint but they said the whole hotel was like this and not only the room we were in. Was extra bad because was December and temperatures were -7C celcius.

My boyfriend and I stayed here because we were on a budget and visiting NYC during one of the most expensive times of the year—right before Christmas. Take this as your sign to spend the extra money and stay literally anywhere else.

We should’ve known it was a bad idea the moment we were dropped off from the airport and turned onto a street that felt extremely unsafe. The hotel is in a very sketchy area, with visible signs of crime, which immediately made us uncomfortable.

When we arrived to check in, the front desk attendant was on the phone giggling with her friend and didn’t acknowledge us at all until I finally had to ask, “Sorry, is this where we’re supposed to check in?” That pretty much set the tone.

Somehow it got worse. Our room number was written on the door with a literal Sharpie, our room was not cleaned once during our entire four-day stay, and it took about 15 minutes for the hot water to work in the shower every time. No housekeeping, no towel refresh—nothing.

Unless you’re absolutely desperate and have no other option, do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process set the tone. The front desk staff member was wearing large headphones, focused on her phone, and ignored guests waiting at the desk for several minutes. When we finally received our room keys, they didn’t work. Instead of resolving the issue herself, she sent another staff member to swap one of the keys.

Later, when we asked for breakfast recommendations nearby, her response was simply: “Google has recommendations.” This lack of hospitality was shocking. To make matters worse, on our first night, we were woken up at 1 a.m. by hotel staff loudly arguing with a guest right outside our door because of a payment issue.

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and disruptive environment made our stay unpleasant from start to finish.

An additional fee to check in early, when the room is available is just greedy. You had approximately 20 people sitting in the lobby waiting hours for rooms that you said were ready and available. The shower could also be improved. The hot water took a long time to get warm-not hot, which is especially problematic during winter in New York.

If you don’t care about the condition of your room/stay then it’s a good hotel for a cheap price. You get what you pay for. Walls were chipped and dirty, the paint job looks like a 3 year old did it, the bathtub had several chips on the side, No room service or house cleaning. Not even a phone to call for extra towels or toiletries. The front door doesn’t even work and you have to use the side door. The hotel reeks of cigarettes so bad. The “rooftop” level is closed off but hey, we had a roof over our heads and it was okay but this establishment is not very clean. The lobby trash was full to the brim oh and also… they had no hot water and when they did it took over 10 min to warm up. Overall it served its purpose so I’m not mad at it but for sure next time I will take my business somewhere else or across the street lol. A plus was definitely that we could leave our luggage’s after check out for no extra charge!

The cleanliness of the property was decent, the location was good the price was okay. But for the amount of money I paid I expected a little more.

At the time of check-in the front desk personnel told me that I owed $150 that was due at the property during check-in.... I told her that my booking receipt said it was going to be $75 so she switched it to the mount on the booking receipt.

The room had a sun shade but it did not have curtains making the room very bright at night.

The area around the hotel is very noisy.

there was no turn down service at this hotel for the 5-day stay.

We had to chase down the cleaning later for towels on several occasions. At one point they did not bother to put the towels in the bathroom they just threw them on the bed and they only took out the trash once.

We found a baby cockroach crawling around the bathroom sink.
To which I took photos off.

The room locked mini amenities, there was no closet nowhere to hang the clothes, no ironing board, no iron, & no hair dryer.

I asked the front desk regarding an iron, they let me borrow an iron but they said that they did not have or carry ironing boards.

The hallway seem to be pretty noisy at night until early hours of the morning.
We paid almost $700 for five nights, the price did not match the quality of service. This is not a chain hotel. it seems to be privately owned therefore they lack a lot of basic amenities. Very very basic.
Definitely would not be staying here ever again.

Honestly this is a horrible place. Cranky people at front desk, pot smell filled the check in area because the front door was open while guest were smoking it right outside.. After check in we went out. When we came back our room smelt of strong cigarette smoke even tho it says it's a no smoking hotel. Front desk guy said no one was in our room, then where did the smoke come from?? Asked for extra pillows cause they only give you one, but the guy said no because it was late and the maids weren't there. Rooms were very small and very out dated. Just gross. Toilet seat paint was peeled. Dirty walls. Please don't stay here!

This was a fine place to stay. In the listing they advertised the room as a King bed but it’s definitely a Double. It said there would be a coffeemaker which wasn’t true. Those things didn’t wreck or stay, but just tell the truth about what you offer. We had to ask for a second pillow and towel set, only 1 provided in a booking for 2 adults. We got a good night’s sleep and the location offers easy subway access.

the room condition was good for the price. Bed and bedding was the best, very comfortable/firm, 100 % cotton. Large TV in room but the internet was spotty, so only worked 50% of the time. Building and shared areas very dated. No coffee, microwave or fridge in the room. not the best neighborhood, but 5 minutes from the train station. Did not cleaned the room or picked-up the trash in 6 days. The AC controls were damaged, so the we had to shut it off.

I have had issues with my stay ever since check in. The first room that was given to me already had someone in it. I had to go back downstairs and get a new room. Then the new room had towels that looked like they were already used, a lamp that doesn't work, and a TV with no remote so we couldn't turn it on. So again my husband and I went back downstairs to ask for a remote and towels. No one ever brought new towels and we was told a technician would bring us a remote in the morning. We went downstairs at approximately 9:30 am and the worker at the desk had no idea a out our complaint. So the front desk people don't communicate. So she told us a technician would bring us a remote by the afternoon. My husband and I left the room and came back around 8pm and still the TV didn't work and no towels. So AGAIN we went back to the front desk and finally a technician was called. The technician came but couldn't fix the TV and just left. We were not given a new room until the last night of our stay. The staff was not helpful, accommodating, or friendly.

The neighborhood is not bad it's more industrial. I felt safe with my daughter. The hotel was quiet. Very quick and easy access via subway and Uber to Manhattan. Excellent value if you are just staying a few days. I don't think I would recommend for a longer stay but was just what I needed for a weekend. If you are the time that like to stay in the hotel a lot this would not be for you. Comfy and clean place if all you need is somewhere to sleep.

The staff was atrocious, unwilling to assist, rooms were shaky at best, no doors on closets, bathroom had a door handle but not the locking mechanism. Old mattresses and furniture piled up in the parking lot. Didn’t offer coffee or any accommodation.
Worst part was they hung a sign for a help number for what appeared to be people staying for for assisted low income living on the wall behind the front desk. So high you needed to read it from the second story by the elevator. It was also covering a huge hole in the wall.
The staff spent the entire time outside the front door smoking.

I never stayed in a worse hotel ever. The service was horrible. My room was never cleaned I had a tough time getting clean towels. At one point, no hot water for showers. No closest, chair to sit or place to hang clothing The site said breakfast in morning. And had a gym. Neither of that last two were true. Mattresses were stacked in lobby. And the only sitting area in the hotel was torn up rattan furniture on the sidewalk, in the rain.

Not a bad hotel just decent for a place to sleep. The toilet seat was falling off at the hinges and the curtains are sheer and don’t provide enough privacy.
The light in the bathroom also turns the bathroom fan on which is super noisey. Over all if I needed a cheap place to stay this works but not my first pick.

The room was pretty okay. It was tiny but got the job done. There were stray hairs in the bed prior to sleeping in it. The door itself was filthy. The walls and doors are not sound proof. I could hear EVERY door slam and every conversation in the hallway. Also, big con is that there is no security latch as an extra protection so I was kind of sleeping on edge because I didn’t have that extra internal security. The area is just like any other city. I didn’t feel unsafe, the street lights were on and there were always people outside. No complaints there. If you want to walk around after checking out, there is no secure place to keep your stuff. It just sits out next to the counter leaving it to anyone to take your stuff if they wanted. Last, they do not answer the phone so don’t bother trying. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5 with all things considered.

This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The bed was dirty. The mattress pad had blood stains on it. I went downstairs and told the guy after we had came back in for the night he was so passive aggressive. He acted like he didn’t care. I explained to him that it was a health hazard and refused to stay in that room and on that bed. He then lied and said there were no rooms available and after going back and forth for 10 minutes he finally decided to switch my room. His customer service is horrible! I highly do not recommend. It’s run down and needs to be shut down.

I am a frequent traveler and am VERY forgiving when it comes to hotels, but I was very disappointed in this hotel.

When we arrived, we weren't sure that we had the right location because there is NO SIGN on the outside with the hotel name. We got to our assigned room but it was not cleaned. We went back down to reception and got a different room, but it was a queen bed instead of the king we had paid for. There was also a loud clanging coming from the bathroom every so often, likely due to the elevator being right next to our room. They said they would address this but never did.

There were also many features the hotel advertised but does not provide:
-No complimentary breakfast
-No fridge or coffee maker in the room
-No alarm clock
-If there was a gym, we weren't made aware

They do have a smart TV, towels, and small shower toiletries. The one real saving grace was that the a/c worked well. They additionally let us leave our luggage in the lobby after check-out, but without any tags or accountability system, which made us nervous.

Upon checkout, the staff said the hotel manager would call us about a room credit for the bed size issue, but they never did. I attempted to call the hotel three times after our trip but they never answered and there is no voicemail system.

Unfortunately I have no choice left but to leave them a lousy review. Such a bummer because I could have forgiven the shortcomings if not for the total lack of communication from the staff.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in the United States. The room looked nothing like the pictures – it was old, outdated, and honestly quite scary place. The furniture and beds were worn out and damaged, with no sense of comfort or coziness at all.

The service was terrible. At one point, my room key stopped working, and it took them almost two hours to make me a new one!!!

The noise situation was unbearable – the walls and doors had absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear every little noise and movement from the hallway and surrounding rooms, which made it impossible to relax or sleep.

On top of that, the hotel charged a $100 deposit at check-in. When I checked out, they refused to return it right away, saying they needed to “inspect the room first” and would refund it later. But after I left, they completely ignored me – no replies to calls or messages, and they never returned my $100. On top of this scam, they charged an additional $15 fee for no clear reason, with no explanation at all.

Overall, this place is a complete nightmare. Outdated, uncomfortable, noisy, dishonest, and with terrible service. They basically stole my deposit and added extra charges on top of it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in America.

Stood over the weekend with my friend and never will again. Room was dirty as soon as we walked in to our hotel room there was a pee stain on the toilet. Hairs all over the shower curtain and I developed a stye I’m sure due to the pillow I was using . My friend woke up the next day with multiple flea bites or bug bites.. highly wouldn’t recommend!

The price-quality ratio is perfect, the location was the best part, pretty near from the station… 15min from Manhattan. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a little outdated, there was a stale smell throughout the building, the AC in the room barely worked, and the room was not the cleanest. At one point during our stay, the room key stopped working, so we had to get a new key card. Our room also had no curtains and the rooms are super well sound proofed, so with the combination of the sun coming in the room and the noise within the hotel led to little sleep.

The area around the hotel is fine. Not really the cleanest part of Queens.

The first room I was given had no power to the entrance light and no power to the AC. The second room was filthy. The floor had a layer of grime on it that I had to clean off myself because my bare feet were sliding through it. The amount of dirt I got off the floor was disgusting. There was black mold in the shower. The bed was a nice size. The AC in the second room worked very well but the second night my key card no longer worked. The Front Desk guy was very helpful, however
