The room was okay, but quite dated furniture and bathroom. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice. Hallway carpet needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. 24 hour security guard posted on each floor hallways and all over the hotel. Sauna was okay, no hot tub but a lovely pool (which was too cold to go into!) Check in staff member was not welcoming, check out staff member was much better. No complimentary breakfast. $15. plus tax cost for parking was in addition to the room charge. Hotel is in a good location, but didn't feel it was good value. Lots and lots of stairs!

There wasn’t really a place to eat, and restaurants are about a 20-30 minute walk away. There is a Tim’s and small grocery store across the street. This hotel is big, the pool is large, but there are only maybe 4 chairs at the pool. So you have to sit on the pool deck floor to supervise your kids.

The hotel was nice. I liked the overall appearance and style. Architecture matched the valley setting, like a lodge. Just needed a bit of a freshen up. Clean and nice none the less. Great staff.

The staff were not friendly or helpful at all. The room was fine (standard hotel room). There were minimal amenities available and those available were not great. The pool area needs some serious updating. It was run down and felt that way.
We ended up forgetting something in our room and called to get the staff to locate it for us. We told them exactly where it was and they called back saying they could not find it. We ended up driving back and it was located right where we said. There was no hospitality from the staff we dealt with whatsoever.

The hotel was passable and staff were nice enough but it needs updating and a deep clean, paint and repairs in all common areas. The furniture in the room was old and worn down. The beds are doubles not queens. Pillows were half sized. In-room supplies were poor quality and skimpy. The hotel was about $30 cheaper than any hotel in Toronto proper and I was trying to stay in the city on a budget, but having stayed there I wouldn’t go back. I’d spend $30+ more and feel like I got my money’s worth in a modern hotel closer to downtown, instead of spending $200 and feeling like I stayed in a hotel in the middle of nowhere that hadn’t seen an update since 1992.

Although the facility is becoming old, it is well taken care and clean. The location is so convenient and you don’t have to be frustrated with traffic jam. It is still my favorite place to stay after years and years.

convenient location, comfortable and clean. a little dated, and rooms are rather stark with minimal wall decor and no seating outside of a low back desk chair. might also benefirt from an information card in the room to identify channel list on television and quirks of bathroom fixtures. note: thought the sink was clogged until I fiddled with the drain. also surprised by parking fees not listed (or noticed) in Expedia listing.

The property grew on me but it is very dated, could use freshening, but would stay again.
It is only about a 15 minute easy drive to Sunnybrook Hospital, which is why we were staying there. It is off the road and it quite private. There isn't any restaurants other than the property restaurant close by.
Clean-ish (don't look too closely, would prefer no dust on bedside tables and lamps and mirrors without toothpaste splatter) but sheets where clean and towels were thick and white. Carpets very worn and were brown so you have no idea how clean they are. Bathtub had some mold in the corners and chips out of the tile floor and bathtub itself. The main things were clean but because of the mirrors not being clean and dust it just made me feel it wasn't really clean
Didn't use the indoor pool but it looked very cool with lots of natural light. They also have a large outdoor pool.
Staff on the reception desk was friendly, mostly. I ended up needing to return so checked in twice. Both check ins where quick and nice but my key cards didn't work the 2nd day. When I asked them to redo the cards the person on the desk didn't say anything. I was pretty annoyed at the time because it had been a long day at the hospital and my hand were full and now I have to go get my keys reprogrammed.
All in all it would not be where I would stay for a holiday but for Sunnybrook it was OK and I would stay there again if attending Sunnybrook Hospital for surgery.

We stayed here as I needed to attend the hospital in Scarborough and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. Our stay was adequate for the price. Our room was clean and had no smells, but it and the bathroom were poorly maintained (eg. broken picture frame in the bedroom, peeling paint and discoloured peeling caulking in the bathroom, and the balcony door didn’t lock) which affected the overall vibe and our comfort. The restaurant was casual, like a cafe, and the food we ordered for dinner was great - except the breakfast buffet, which was $20/person ($10/child) and awful aside from the bacon and potatoes. Wait staff were friendly and treated my 4yo son very kindly, and went out of their way to engage with him.

I would stay here again as the price was agreeable.

The check in staff was wonderful. The room was clean and had a fridge and coffee maker, both of which we used. I would have liked a microwave.
Although I did not use it, many people were enjoying the pool.
The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired, although the attendant was helpful.

What a nightmare this place is. Some of the staff were either cold, or didn’t understand simple questions and/or provided confusing answers. The room I received was very outdated and looked like it came straight out of a motel. The toilet was repeatedly running and wouldn’t properly flush half the time, and the bathtub had screws that made me want to get a tetanus shot. They need to properly clean their rooms because this experience was so uncomfortable during my stay.

First, the Hotel is an area of apartments and offices and has no services/restuarants within walking (except Tim Hortons). TV didn't work. Light fixture broken. Furniture stained or torn. Had to eat at the \"Bistro.\" (Only) waiter said \"it may take some time.\" It took 1.5 hours to get a hamburger. Stay away.

I like the location of this property. The facility is quite run down in many areas, but didn’t really affect our stay.
I will not stay in their unrenovated rooms again. I found it dingy, worn out and in need of an upgrade. The tub creaked VERY loudly every time we moved in the shower. The drain was clogged upon our arrival, but was fixed when we asked. The battery was dead in the thermostat when we arrived, but it was fixed promptly.
There was no ice machine, despite being marked as being on our floor.

The wallpaper was peeling, it was dingy in crevasses, the fixtures had so much dust on them and I feel like the room was either cleaned a while ago and sat, or not cleaned thoroughly.

The beds were so creaky, but comfortable and all bedding was clean.

Like I said, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that the is is just an old dingy room. I will book the upgrades one next time.

The pool was great, but again, old and worn out. The whole facility showed so many signs of needing an upgrade, but I would still stay there for the low price.

The hotel has become a pot smokers paradise.
The pictures don't do justice online. Place is definitely a 2 or less star in my opinion.
I paid $200 per night and it felt like a cheap motel.
Elevator always smelled like Marijuana.
In a four night stay we changed rooms at 11:00 pm as the adjoining room, there was pot smoking going on. The smell was so strong in our room that we couldn't breathe.
This is not even an area where there should be a parking charge. It's $15 per night.
Absolute disaster.
Cheap one ply toilet paper.

Conditions of the rooms are terrible. Bed is very uncomfortable. Terrible experience with bathroom tub and shower condition. Internet is practically non existent, TV remote not working, no screen mirroring, other noisy guests shouting in the hallway until 1am in the morning. I would never stay there again. The only positive thing i can think of was the polite attitude and service of the staff.

Fast and friendly check-in. Room is spacious and comfortable, but could use a little TLC. Room was a bit musty smelling. Enjoyed the convenience of the hotel location. Hotel was quite busy, so above ground parking totally full at night. Underground parking is under construction, so access was tight going in/out and parts were closed off.

A housekeeper tried to enter the room while we were changing because they didn't realize anyone had been checked into the room yet. Then we were woken up at 12:30 by the room filling with overwhelming skunk smell from the ac unit.

Older hotel with a unique layout. No indoor ramps for transporting carts to the elevator, and must use accessible ramp outside to a very narrow corridor to access elevator.
Bed was not comfortable and tilted towards headboard. Sliding glass doors to balcony were very hard to slide open.
The female working the front desk during checkout was rude when asked a question, although the man during check in was very helpful. Great gift shop on site.
Washroom was very small and could use upgrades. TV remote was not able to channel up and down. Overall, price was slightly high for the amenities and condition of the hotel.
