Amazing hospitality-- the way is should be!

This undoubtedly the best managed and friendliest hotel I've stayed in in Paris. Each staff member constantly strives to make each day better, from the welcome (late night, showing me to my room, with a glass of welcome champagne!) to breakfast, and the spectacular housekeeping staff. The manager, extremely competent, even helped me get into an art exhibition where the lines were long, by figuring out the best time of day to go! I'll hope to stay here, again and again.

The property is located in a very nice location and there are plenty of places to eat. The hotel has seven suites, I had the 4th fl suite (Rm. 406) called Seven Day, which was very nice and big, when I do go back I plan on having the 1st fl suite since that one has a jacuzzi. All the other suites have a bath tub & shower. If you like music ask for suite Seven Note, it has a music theme. I really cannot wait to return.

Always book the suites if you can.
The regular rooms are great for one person or a young couple in love. Rooms on the street could be noisy if it weren’t for the sound proof glass. Brilliant location away from tourists and very near to rue Moufftard.

My stay was great the first day. The staff was helpful and check-in was a breeze. Saturday night, I came in and there was an employee sleeping on the couch in the lobby by the front door. I was a little caught off guard. The day before I left, I stepped out of my room for 20 minutes and upon return, witnessed an employee leaving my room. I went in and counted my cash and realized cash was missing. The man at the front desk was trying ro convince me that it was impossible and telling me that I didnt witness what I did. The hotel promised to investigate however I heard nothing from them since

Overall, I was disappointed

I liked the hotel but overall it wasn’t worth the €300 per night price tag and I would stay here again. Simple things were missing. I had no “do not disturb” sign in my room. The room clearly hadn’t been dusted in weeks as a film of dust was on all surfaces. No water was available in the room. We were told on check out that we could have freely used a filtered water system available in reception. No one alerted us to this on check in. The hotel is stylish and well decorated but when it’s missing simple essential elements, it’s disappointing.

The hotel was v nice . 2 issues though.
1. No water in the room. We discovered at checkout that there was filtered water available at reception / breakfast area , we had not been told about that.
2. The alarm went off. When we arrived at reception , there was no organisation to deal with it/ no evacuation etc receptionist said she didn’t know what it was and continued to work. In the event of an actual fire this is very dangerous.

This property was exceptionally maintained with great facilities and cleanliness. The only downfall is it’s location as it is quite far to get to any of the main attractions or restaurants/bars, even via bicycle. However, if you’re not planning on walking and instead getting taxis, then I highly recommend this hotel.

He said, they gave him the wrong room and when he walked in - he scared a very naked man standing in the hallway of his hotel room. There were other happenings at this hotel as well, but this was disappointing to hear from one of our biggest clients.

The hotel is in the Latin Quarter about 5-15min to 3 metro stations. It is about 25 min walking distance to Ile de la Cite. The staff was friendly and professional.. The breakfast was good, included in the package.

We were given a “nonsmoking” room but somebody clearly smoked previously in the room and the hotel attempted to clean the smell from the room. The safe in the room was not bolted in the wall or furniture. It could be easily removed. Not quite a safe. The shower was leaking water through the door into the bedroom. We were moved in another room but the carpet was moist in a corner and smelled like urine. We were moved again and the third room was ok.
The hotel is cute but requires renovation was not well kept,

The room was not exactly like the pictures depict, and the shower was a bit dirty/poorly designed, it was difficult not to get water all over the place. Other than that though this was a comfortable hotel, the bed was great. We had a large window which looked out into the city and a skylight. The hotel is about an hour walk from the Eiffel Tower, but only 15-20 minutes from the Latin Quarter and there is quite a bit of good cafes, parks, etc. in the immediate area. The staff at the hotel was exceptional and friendly. Morgan in particular was extremely helpful several times, she gave us great advice and when we had trouble booking our train tickets to Bordeaux she did it for us. Great location, nice room, and exceptional service! I would stay here again.

The staff was always helpful. The area has some restaurants and grocery down the street. The basics of the room were clean. There was something spilled on a wall and the shower didn’t drain well causing water to pour on the floor. We were only there for business so it was fine. Breakfast was quaint and accessible.

This is an amazing hotel. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and the room was dark and sexy and embodies the romance of Paris. It's not located near any major attractions, so the area is quiet and feels a bit more laid back. Perfect for couples.

Didn’t quite live up to how it looked online. Room 105 has no shower - standing in a curved base bathtub with a hand shower doesn’t really work. Lighting of room a bit disorienting - plus it’s hard to put makeup on in the gloom! Bed firm but very comfortable.

We were excited to have found this hotel, only to get disappointed. Location is not bad, however do not expect this hotel to be a 4 Star as they claim. The room was tiny just like other hotels, the shower is awful. They have plastic planks on top of a stainless shower pan, that are not fixed so you feel like you are about to slip through any minute. Cleanliness is non existent. Mildew is outside and inside the shower. The room is musty! I would not be recommending the hotel!

Such a cute boutique hotel!

Stayed at this hotel based on a referral and was so happy we did. Hotel was clean and staff was excellent. They were personable, friendly and very helpful with tips and directions to get around Paris. The rooms were a bit small but very swanky at a very reasonable rate. Would definitely stay there again!

The Seven is a sister hotel to the Five and both are well situated friendly and clean boutique hotels. Unlike the Five which is beginning to look a little shabby the Seven is still looking in pretty good condition although it is beginning to look a little tired in some parts. Overall though happy to recommend the Seven. Rooms are very small and lighting atmospheric ( dark) but nicely appointed and staff friendly and accommodating.

Easily the coolest experience I've had at a hotel in Paris. Unique. Floating bed, floating bath, unbelievably atmospheric and creative lighting, and a surprisingly large room for Parisian standards. This is the best hotel, by a mile, for a young couple who are looking to enjoy each other as much as the wonderful city.

We upgraded slightly to the Leviation rooms with the bed in the middle of the room.
The rooms are great fun if you're happy with a modern contemporary design - we loved them.
The reception staff were happy and helpful throughout our 3 nights stay, allowing access to the room slightly earlier on arrival and storing our bags on the last day so we could continue exploring Paris.
We mostly walked, but there are also Metro stations close by.

A surprising boutique hotel, beautifully designed.

Great experience, hotel was really comfortable and welcoming. The design of my room was fun, but I would have appreciated a little bit more lighting available (not just the blue neon and ceiling stars) to be able to read and write without having to go to bed! - TV set was huge with a lot of channels. Bathroom and toilet were super comfortable. Finally, the 2 persons at the reception were very kind, welcoming and helpful.

Funky and Fun...but a few drawbacks!

Seven is a funky (and fun) boutique hotel in Paris' Latin Quarter. It is conveniently located within a walk (albeit a healthy one) ‎of the subway...one of them being the B line, which has direct access to Paris' airports. The area is historic, clean and safe and has many nice restaurants.

The front desk staff is very good - they made an effort to let us check in early, which we appreciated after a long flight.

The rooms are small but well laid out and functional. The blue, purple and green lights add atmosphere but if you need white light to actually see, it is lacking. The shower (with several exhilarating jets) is surrounded by clear glass and in full view of the room. Along with the paper thin door that encloses the airplane size toilet cabin, however, it's imperative that you and your roommate are very comfortable with each other.

The \"elevated\" beds are firm and comfortable...the pillows, however, are lumpy and should be replaced.

Amenities are in short supply. The towels are skimpy and, despite our room having a double shower and two sinks, only one very (very) small bar of soap is provided. Regardless of your length of stay, only one complimentary bottle of water is offered...however an overpriced mini-bar offers additional beverages.

Read the fine print too as a surprise tax greets you when you leave. Finally, \"non-refundable\" means non-refundable at this hotel - absolutely NO exceptions for ANY reason. Within hours of making my booking my mother passed awa

The hotel's website does not do it justice. The sounds, smells, and DETAILS of this hotel are incredible. From the floating beds, to the pinpoint blue \"stars\" in the ceiling, shower, and bathroom floor! Everywhere you look, there are rich details. The materials used in the decor are incredible! The staff is very friendly, and they all spoke English, which helped me a great deal!
There were many services in this hotel that I did not use - best for couples (such as massage, and a consultation from a love expert). This is by far the most sexy hotel I have ever seen.
The Metro is a bit of a hike (about 10 minute walk), but the walk is lovely. What is great about the location of this hotel is the proximity to a very vibrant pedestrian street in the Latin quarter. It is a quick 5 minute walk (and a straight shot from the hotel). On this street is a wide variety of shops (from tourist souvenirs to haute couture), restaurants, and pubs. This is the Paris one thinks about when dreaming about it from afar.

Awesome Boutique Hotel in great location in Paris

We stayed here for 3 nights during Euro 2016 and absolutely loved the place. I can't praise the staff enough, especially Maria and Johan who we had lots of fun talking with. The room we had on the 5th floor was stunning and the mood lighting was wonderful. Very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very nice indeed with plenty of choices. It was a short walk to Port Royal Metro station and around a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the near future.

Cool room, comfortable, awesome shower just the floor of the shower had panels which wern't secured down which seemed strange. Shame about the late check in at 4pm would have been nice to check in earlier but the check out was at 12 so made up for it even though we had to leave earlier in morning. Close by to metro stations approximately a ten minute walk one which is a direct line to Gare du Nord :)

Good, affordable and well located, but small.

I loved this place, esp for the price. It's a cool funky spot in a location an easy Uber or cab away from everything. Walking distance to lots on a nice day. Staff was great. The room we had was quite small like lots in Europe. The shower is glass right into the room so if you don't want someone to see you shower then they'd have to leave the room. TV is big. Could use a little more light in the room.

I booked a night in the suspended bath room as a last night (expensive!) treat for the last night of my holiday.
I requested an early check-in at 2pm which was confirmed via email at 4am the night before. Upon trying to check in at 2:30 pm I was told I was too early and the room was not ready and to come back in 45 minutes. I returned two and a half hours later and was told again that the room was not ready and would be 5 minutes more. After a further fifteen minutes I was finally able to go to the room.
Sadly the room absolutely REEKED of the previous guests aftershave. I had to leave the windows open for an hour for it to disperse.
The good things I can say are that the bed was comfortable and I liked the lighting.
The bad is that the staff were unhelpful and unorganised. The room smelled. It was obscenely loud with guests the next room over going at it. At 9am I was woken up by construction in the room above mine which no one warned me of. The maid walked in when I was changing even though I told front desk I would be checking out at 12pm and to leave me alone until then. The mirrored walls were cracked in the corners and the bathtub plug did not actually seal so the bath was draining whilst I bathed.
I would not recommend this room to anyone unless they are taking their mistress for a night out.
It is near nothing. A black hole in the middle of Paris for $350 au a night.

A lovely, quirky, unusual hotel. Perfect for a cheeky romantic getaway. Rooms not huge but beds comfortable and shower in the room we stayed in first was divine. Except for the fact that we extended our stay and moved rooms to a \"suspended bath\" room which had no shower. Which was inconvenient to say the least. Romantic perhaps, practical it was not! Check out was a painfully slow experience.

The Magnificent Seven

Booked this hotel as it was something different to the rest. The design is modern, quirky and innovative - you can even watch tv whilst having a shower! Although the room is typically small, the imaginative design makes excellent use of space. The levitated bed is extremely comfortable and the ceiling really does give the impression of sleeping under the stars. The night shift receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and he encouraged me to try out my rusty French language skills. Would certainly recommend and hope to return.

A bad day *four days and nights* at the office.

Think unfortunately for the Seven hotel and our stay, everything that could've went wrong did. four nights, four different rooms. Hotel staff did everything in their power to solve every problem and were excellent and understanding. For each room problem, an upgrade followed, ending with a night in the Marie-Antoinette suite! However the frequency of changing room made the stay unsettling and tiring. Our already ridiculously over-packed luggage (thanks to my girlfriend!) was packed and moved to four different rooms. However we experienced a range of Seven rooms, and would definitely recommend the suspended bed room type and suspended bath room type. Our move from the initially booked suspended bed was due to a fault with the surface of the shower, which we were upset about as it was comfy and snug. The suspended bath room type was our favourite, which we spent two nights in. Unfortunately the morning after ordering a takeout, ants were found crawling from the carpet and mirror. Staff were fast to help with this problem and upgraded us to the Marie- Antoinette suite, which is possibly a bit outdated in terms of appearance but has a much superior amount of space in comparison to other rooms. Location was fine, about 15-20 euros to the Champs-Elysees in a taxi. I feel it was just an unlucky week for the hotel, as had the shower floor been stable we would've had a very satisfying four days in the Seven, however hopefully this week and review will help the hotel improve. :)

Beautiful Hotel

It was my first time in Paris and my stay at the seven hotel was absolutely amazing. I had the time of my life. The hotel is so beautiful and I had a beautiful balcony view in my room. I will definitely return to Paris and will stay here. The staff is so friendly and treat you so nice and with so much respect. I love you guys!!!!!

Fantastic hotel - really quirky and modern interior. Great service and polite staff and the barman made the best drinks. Would definitely stay again

Horribly located, extra small, no amenities

We went with two couples. My wife searched for latin quarter and this hotel popped up. It is nowhere near the latin quarter, wasted over 300 euros in cabs and uber to get anywhere near a remotely populated area. The rooms extra small. Cleaning staff walked in on me half naked and my wife in the shower without knocking. The minibar fridge didnt work. The sheets were not changed and they left me sheets with a questionable stain.

Poor experience and made worse by the lack of assistance from expedia and the nearly 3 hours of hold time trying to resolve something.

If you want a stripper pole in your room (we did)

Hold onto your boots. This hotel has some amazing rooms. We stayed in the one with the stripper pole. Look out in this room. It is on a platform with multiple stairs. I got up in the middle of the night and fell. Cut my foot and cracked my rib. Nonetheless, it was a great find in a great location. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, chic hotel.

Room very stylish and comfortable. Bath absolutely fantastic! In our opinion, the room was a decent size. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Paris. Staff very friendly.

Exceptional novel hotel concept.

Wonderful unique room! The concept makes the stay quite memorable. Breakfast overpriced so we ate in local restaurants where you can get wonderful local meals for two ...for the price of one breakfast. Hotel also needs to advise quests that there are great restaurants in the Latin area which is nearly 10 minutes walk highly recommendable for the evenings. Hotel is 20 minutes from local sights siuch as Notre Dame. Hotel also needs to advise clients on the locality of Metro's although it is quite easy to book a boat taxi for two days hop on and off and see all the sites.

It was like being in the 7th heaven...

It was a great hotel with great staff. I showed up early to drop my stuff off and they gave me great directions on how to get around as a tourist. They were very accommodating throughout my visit, even lending me an adaptor for my phone. The room was great! The king size bed was a real treat and super comfy. They had a Nespresso machine in the room to use.
The only downside was when ordering room service for breakfast. It didn't arrive at the time I asked for it and I had to call down twice to get it sent up. When it was sent up, it was cold and it delayed me from starting my day.

Top class design.

A really classy hotel with a high quality and very modern interior design. All done to a very high standard. We stayed in the Levitation themed room with a 'floating' bed, led lighting to perspex furniture and a blue sky with clouds ceiling, particularly effective at night when the ceiling LEDs look like stars! Apart from the height of the bed above floor level the room is very well thought out. The washing area was open plan to the room comprising Shower and washbasin. The shower had two hand held units with brackets at high and low level and a rainstorm shower head. With all on it was a real blast. Enclosed and private WC with reading light!!! Recommend looking at the website to view all the idiosyncratic designs.

Avoid Languedoc Restaurant on corner of street with Bllvrd Royal. They don't like the English!

I had a very nice stay at this hotel during my trip. We had a under the stars room and the sky painted on the ceiling was very cool. The staff were nice and helpful all throughout our stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family
