Immediately upon check in I advised the front desk that I would like to extend my reservation by 1 day. I booked through Expedia so Marriott pretty much ignores you as a human you if you book through a third party. I wasnt asking to change the reservation I was asking to add another day with a new reservation. The front desk person said since i was after hours 11pm I should speak to the agents in the morning. I called marriott and again they act like you dont exist if you book through a third party and again I advised I am making a new reservation I would just like to stay in the same room. Nothing was resolved on this call so I called the front desk only to be told because you booked through a third party you cant change the reservation and we dont have any rooms. I seriously think these people are brainwashed stupid. I wasnt changing the reservation I was adding a new night..anyway I give up on the story here. I stopped using Marriott when I had a choice many years ago and became a Hilton Honors member and now I know why. Other than that..the rooms are old, overpriced because Orlando, charge for parking when other hotels in the same area 500ft away dont, over priced cold buffet breakfast with few fresh choices..so in summary I wont ever stay here or with Marriott as a whole unless like this trip I am basically forced to. If I have an option I am choosing Hilton 10 out of 10 times.

The lobby and pool area was nice. The room was a little gross especially the wall area around the window. The bed was really comfortable. There was only 1 bottle of water in the room and no regular coffee, just 1 decaf. I also called and requested a wake-up call for 3:15am and never got the call but my phone alarm worked so I didn’t oversleep.

We got there early from the cruise ship and our room was ready at 9am. Spacious clean room, comfy bed. Nice lounge and the lady bartender served us an early dinner at Malabar and was extremely kind and helpful. Food was great.

Hotel had an awful smell throughout of cheap air freshener reminiscent of a Las Vegas casio. This was immediately noticeable upon entering the hotel. It was worse in the hallway outside our room.

Also the temp in the hallway was ridiculously cold.

Our room: there was another terrible smell in our room which was hard to pinpoint, like a bad cleaning product. We think they were covering up something. It was bad, it totally ruined our stay. We were too tired to go complain and ask for a room change. We were so put off by the smell outside the room, we figured all the rooms smelled terrible.

The stink from the room remained in our clothes long after checking out.

We will never stay here again.

We made reservations with your hotel. When we got there, the hotel’s water was shut off. We were shuttled to a nearby Spring Hill Suites where we stayed the night. The water problem was definitely not the hotel’s fault, just an unfortunate occurrence. It was disappointing to us since the Spring Hill Suites was a downgrade from your hotel. We wanted to stay in, eat dinner at the hotel, and get some sleep. We ended up having to go out since we weren’t staying at your hotel. We paid for a nice hotel (your’s) and ended up staying at an average hotel.

The room smelt musty the whole time. We had to continuously spray body spray around the room to make it smell somewhat decent. In the morning we found little bugs crawling on the tile floors we are not sure what the were hoping they were just small ants. The shower didn't want to turn off it had to drain for quite awhile before it shut off.

Best advice is run, or sleep in your car. Everything is broken or breaking, no AC in the public areas. Extremely over priced, you a pay premium for parking and breakfast. Moldy and dirty, Sheets and comforters were wet, condensation on everything.

Disappointed with Rooms Condition

This hotel must have recently had some very serious water damage. We were originally given a room on the 7th floor, and we noticed immediately a very musty smell when getting off the elevator. The carpet looked very damaged, and we noticed a floor fan tucked away in one of the corners of the hallway. The room itself was very damp feeling and felt dirty, which was not the best feeling, but the worst part was the air vent had what we were concerned was mold on the ceiling. We called downstairs and we were then moved to the 8th floor after voicing our concern. The 2nd room wasn’t much better, but at least the vent didn’t have as bad of a stain on the ceiling. The room just felt very old and damaged. The hotel lobby was beautiful, but we just couldn’t get over the state of the rooms and the musty/moldy smell throughout the hotel room floors. We expected a Renaissance Hotel to be in better shape than that, and that is why we chose the hotel in the first place, even though it was pricier than other competitors on the app. That being said, having a shuttle every half an hour to the airport was helpful, especially because we had an early morning flight, which is why I couldn’t give it less than three stars.

We stayed here for one night before boarding the Disney Treasure, as our flight landed around midnight and the hotel is close to the airport. Despite being rated as a four-star resort on Expedia, this was one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever stayed.

Had it not been so late — and our kids so tired — we would’ve switched hotels immediately. The room was worn down, the floors were grimy, and overall everything felt unclean. Most shockingly, the toilet had a sign instructing guests to “repair” it after every flush to stop it from running — absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming four stars.

The lobby was decent, but that’s where the positives end. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families

It was so surprisingly wonderful! We just booked a hotel by the airport after our cruise and had the best time in at the pool, had drinks at the nice bar, walked the beautiful surrounding grounds. Staff was great and place was spacious and clean. Would 10/10 recommend. We’ll be back!

We had a very unpleasant stay after a 10 hour international flight. We arrived later in evening and with a child that needed to sleep immediately. We were given a room and my wife bathed our child quickly and put her in bed to sleep. We then realized how bad the condition of the room was- extremely strong musty mildew smell, staines carpets, stained sofa, broken curtains, etc. By then it was too late as my daughter was sleeping. My wife woke up with a headache and feeling nauseous from the smell and had to wear a mask until morning. We woke our daughter up early and got in the car to leave as soon as possible. Although the front desk staff were nice and offered to chamge rooms, we were stuck as we couldnt wake our sleeping child. Overall, a bad experience- we would strongly recommend against staying here and will look for other options than Renaissance for future travels.
